THE JOE LIEBERMAN COLLAPSE

Is this really all that surprising? Conservatives were asked to pin their hopes on Joe Lieberman sticking to his guns? That's like taking the Japanese High School All-stars of American-style football in a straight up bet against the 2009 New Orleans Saints. Did anyone really think Joe Lieberman was going to go to the mat against the Obama, Reid, Pelosi, and SEIU machine?

Yes, it's easy for me to sit here and point fingers at Lieberman for not exhibiting leadership or courage but isn't that what he's there for? Oh, sorry. Forgive that momentarily lapse. I am still chuckling at the notion.

THE HILL reports that not only has Lieberman caved to the Democrats but he is now groveling after the fact:
Sen. Joe Lieberman (Conn.) told Democratic colleagues at the White House this afternoon that he regretted creating tension within their conference during the healthcare debate.

Lieberman, a Democrat-turned-Independent who still caucuses with his former party, stopped short of apologizing. But he told colleagues that he is empathetic to the heartburn he caused.
Yes, the far left bloggers went after Lieberman's wife but at what point does fear in the face of intimidation take a back seat to principle?

For some reason, this video of Van Jones from February 11, 2009 came to mind. WARNING: the word A**hole is used with reckless abandon. Shortly after where this video cuts off, Jones makes reference to determining which "two or three" Senators need to have "really bad days".

VIDEO: CNBC'S RICK SANTELLI GETS FIRED UP AGAIN

From the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, the man who lit the fuse for the modern day Tea Party movement got fired up again. This time he dukes it out with Steve Liesman. Santelli is sounding the alarm as loudly as he can and justifiably so. Liesman is either playing a role or has put a firewall between himself and reality that is impenetrable.

FCC DIVERSITY CZAR OBJECTS TO FACTS

FCC Diversity Czar Mark Lloyd has apparently been sufficiently agitated enough to speak out against his accusers with lies in response to facts (and video) those accusers have been exposing. It could be time for Glenn Beck to start soliciting Lloyd to call the red phone.

NEWSBUSTERS reported:
Yesterday in a speech for the Media Access Project, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chief Diversity Officer Mark Lloyd claimed to refute numerous what he called “exaggerations and distortions” of a wide range of his thoughts, positions and policy prescriptions from what he called a “right-wing smear campaign.” What Lloyd did was offer numerous falsehoods and denials about things that are undeniably true.

For example, Lloyd has insisted that a "right-wing smear campaign" was "distorting [his] views about the First Amendment" when in fact, in his 2006 book "Prologue to a Farce," Lloyd plainly made clear his view that the freedoms of speech and press were "all too often an exaggeration" and that "the purpose of free speech is warped to protect global corporations and block rules that would promote democratic governance."
The culture of the left revealed again and again and again. They spew lies and deny they said them even when presented to them in cold hard evidential form. Yet, as in the case of climate change, they accuse those who so much as question them of being "deniers" even when caught manipulating data and calling for destruction of emails.

Brent Bozell released a statement about Lloyd's claims that he is the victim of a "smear campaign".
