Far be it from me to attempt to interpret Rasmussen's poll results (he can do just fine on his own) but I can't help myself. It's widely accepted that polling lags reality by about three days. That means today's results actually gauge public sentiment from Thursday.
Obama hitting a new high in the STRONGLY DISAPPROVE category at 42% (his previous high was 41%). His presidential approval index is not good either at -10. The timing of Obama reaching new undesirous lows would seem to coincide with public opinion forming around the decision to allow prosecutors to target the CIA.
Just a hunch but that decision seemed to to more harm than good when it comes to public opinion.
