We all remember where we were on January 28th, 1986. The image of the shuttle's two rocket boosters shooting ahead of the shuttle itself is a lasting one. Here is video of the disaster taken from a Florida resident in his neighborhood, using his new video camera. I'm surprised at the clarity of the explosion here. You can also hear the man quickly identify that there was a problem.
