EGYPT FOREIGN MINISTER: OBAMA TOLD ME HE IS A MUSLIM

Should this be considered new evidence that Obama is a Muslim? He was registered as Muslim twice when he was enrolled in Indonesian schools; he referred to his 'Muslim faith' in an interview with George Stephanopolous in 2008 before the latter promptly got Obama back on track; his middle name is Islamic; there is a ten minute video on the internet that captures all of his questionable amicable references to Islam.

Now this. Via Israel Today:

The feeling among the Israeli public is that Obama is appeasing the Muslim world at the expense of Israel.

"The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim," said Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Nile TV. That could explain why Obama has instructed that the term "Islamic extremism" no longer be used in official government documents and statements.

My first question is why did Egyptian's Foreign Minister reveal something told to him in confidence? He even eliminated the, "Oh, I forgot" excuse by actually saying that Obama told him "in confidence" that he is a Muslim.

What's really sad is that there was a significant number of us who saw Obama's leanings, allegiances, and questionable history long before he was elected. Israel Today references Yediot Ahronot and a quote given them from a senior Israeli official.

"Obama is a real problem for Israel," a senior official told told Yediot. "He is Israel's biggest strategic catastrophe."
