The NAACP's Vice President for Advocacy (whatever that is), Hilary Shelton appeared on Megyn Kelly's 'America Live' on July 13th in a debate against a Tea Party leader. During that exchange, Shelton said he had not attended any Tea Party events because he was 'afraid to go'. Then, only three short days later, Shelton not only says he HAD attended a Tea Party but made the charge that Congressman John Lewis was spat on - a claim Lewis never made.
