Video: Netanyahu finds Woodshed in Oval Office, takes Obama to it

The joint press conference held by Obama and Netanyahu inside the Oval Office got started late because of the meeting between the two that preceded it. At the heart of the controversy surrounding the Israeli Prime Minister's visit to the White House were the comments made by Obama as Benjamin Netanyahu was already en route from Israel. In his speech on May 19th, Obama said Israel needs to return to its 1967 borders. Reports were that Netanyahu was furious and the press conference held after the meeting on May 20th would seem to vindicate those reports.

To be sure, Netanyahu did not show anger in this exchange but he did school the president with facts and an outright refusal to agree to what Obama called for a day earlier. Obama gave his statement first and then Netanyahu gave his. I'd show Obama's part but it had no substance; he likely expected the same from Netanyahu. He was wrong and he has no one to blame but himself.
