Video: This Explains why North Koreans Bawled Over Dead Dictator

Most everyone saw the surreal video of scores of North Koreans literally bawling over the death of Kim Jong Il. Were they brainwashed or intimidated? Well, it's now obvious that it was the latter. Those who didn't cry sufficiently enough are being rounded up and sent to prison camps.

US State Department Praises North Korea's Kim Jong-Il

When diplomacy devolves to the point of praising one of the world's most brutal dictators, it fails to remain diplomacy. It's either acquiescence to evil or acceptance of it. The US State Department appears to be taking the path of least resistance - otherwise known as the road to hell - when it comes to the death of Kim Jong-Il.

Enter the number 3 official at the US State Department, via Weekly Standard:
Wendy Sherman, undersecretary of state for political affairs at the State Department, had some rather nice things to say about the reclusive Kim Jong Il, the dictatorial leader of North Korea who died a few days ago. She had met the rogue dictator, Josh Rogin reports, when Sherman "served as State Department counselor and North Korea policy coordinator under former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, [and had] traveled to Pyongyang with Albright in 2000."
The Standard quoted from both an NPR obituary that quotes Sherman as well as a New York Times article in which she heaped praise on the dictator:
Wendy Sherman, now the No. 3 official in the State Department, who served as counselor to Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright and accompanied her to North Korea, said in 2008: "He was smart, engaged, knowledgeable, self-confident, sort of the master-director of all he surveyed."
If the leaders at the top of our government are more comfortable praising one of the world's most brutal dictators instead of highlighting his atrocities, that should cause great concern among US citizens when it comes to how much our leaders care about their own people.

Ah, but the elitists at State are so much more intelligent and we citizens simply don't understand diplomacy, right? Diplomacy does NOT include praising evil dictators.

What more evidence do we need that our leaders have been inching closer to insanity for some time?

Video: North Koreans Bawl over Kim Jong Il's Death

Can the people of an entire nation have Stockholm Syndrome? Isn't it the only way to explain this reaction of North Koreans to the death of their country's brutal dictator, Kim Jong Il.

This is the opposite reaction the soldiers for the Wicked Witch of the West had after she melted.

SARAH PALIN DELIVERS A FACEBOOK SMACK DOWN

I don't usually post Sarah Palin's Facebook entries but this one is absolutely awesome. Remember all of those Obama gaffes the media ignored? Well, Palin incorporated ten of them into one paragraph to make a point - and it was made in spades. In an interview with Glenn Beck, Palin inadvertently said - while talking about the situation in Korea - that America needs to 'stand with our North Korean allies.' She very shortly thereafter corrected her statement and continued to make her point. After being mocked for the slip-up, she comprised a Thanksgiving message - with links - that may not have shut up her critics but it sure did cause them to change the subject.

Via Facebook:
My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…
That is just plain awesome and clearly demonstrates why Sarah Palin should NOT run for president. She is much more effective in the role she's in - driving the left absolutely nuts. If she were to run for president, who would take her spot as the anti-community organizing agitator??? She is best in this role.

If you'd like to hear what she said on Glenn Beck's radio show that caused the left to attempt to smear her, click HERE and fast forward to the 11:30 mark.

Just one day before Palin posted that Thanksgiving Day message, Barack Obama told the New York Daily News that he doesn't think about Sarah Palin. Well, either he was lying (most likely possibility based on how prolific he is at it) or she's in his head after this Facebook entry. Either way, she's driving the left nuts.

Reuters: Kim Jong Il has Pancreatic Cancer

Reuters is reporting that North Korean leader and madman Kim Jong Il has contracted the most lethal form of cancer - pancreatic. Odds are long that he will survive but like a trapped animal, will he become more brash and brazen, looking to make his mark in the world?

Time will Tell but here's the Reuters report.
