We might be reaching a point of critical mass when it comes to the contempt citation for Eric Holder. Public pressure has been immense and Oversight Committee members like Jason Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy have morphed into bulldogs that are doing all they can to be unleashed. Barely more than twelve hours after they gave passionate speeches on the floor of the House, Speaker John Boehner had to address the investigation and the Oversight Committee's efforts.

Obama's Gay Marriage Timeline continuum still 'evolving'
The "evolving" Obama timeline continues... On Sunday, Joe Biden comes out in support of gay marriage; on Tuesday, Jay Carney can't answer reporters' questions about Obama's position on the subject; on Wednesday, Obama comes out in support of gay marriage. Now, on Thursday, the Washington Post is reporting about how Mitt Romney mistreated a homosexual while in high school.
It also seems to indicate that the Washington Post is engaging in Alinsky's Rule #8:
Alinsky is beginning to fail Obama. Once he realizes that, he's completely lost.
Mitt Romney returned from a three-week spring break in 1965 to resume his studies as a high school senior at the prestigious Cranbrook School. Back on the handsome campus, studded with Tudor brick buildings and manicured fields, he spotted something he thought did not belong at a school where the boys wore ties and carried briefcases. John Lauber, a soft-spoken new student one year behind Romney, was perpetually teased for his nonconformity and presumed homosexuality. Now he was walking around the all-boys school with bleached-blond hair that draped over one eye, and Romney wasn’t having it.Does anyone honestly believe this wasn't timed to capitalize on Obama's public stance on gay marriage one day earlier?
“He can’t look like that. That’s wrong. Just look at him!” an incensed Romney told Matthew Friedemann, his close friend in the Stevens Hall dorm, according to Friedemann’s recollection. Mitt, the teenaged son of Michigan Gov. George Romney, kept complaining about Lauber’s look, Friedemann recalled.
A few days later, Friedemann entered Stevens Hall off the school’s collegiate quad to find Romney marching out of his own room ahead of a prep school posse shouting about their plan to cut Lauber’s hair. Friedemann followed them to a nearby room where they came upon Lauber, tackled him and pinned him to the ground. As Lauber, his eyes filling with tears, screamed for help, Romney repeatedly clipped his hair with a pair of scissors.
It also seems to indicate that the Washington Post is engaging in Alinsky's Rule #8:
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”The problem for the Obama administration is that the opposition is increasingly reacting to his disadvantage.
Alinsky is beginning to fail Obama. Once he realizes that, he's completely lost.
Video: Congressman Trey Gowdy's Goes OFF on the House Floor over Fast and Furious
There are righteous rants and then there are rants so passionately righteous that sparks shoot out of the mouths of those who deliver them. Enter Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC), who while on the House Floor, called out Eric Holder and the Justice Department. This was shortly after a fiery speech from Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) on the same subject.
Anyone think the Tea Party is dead? Gowdy was elected to his first term in 2010 on a wave of Tea Party anger. When is the last time you saw anyone with such little tenure deliver a speech like this? Not only does Gowdy lampoon Democrats across the aisle who are standing by Holder but he embarrasses senior Republicans who have been conspicuously silent on Fast and Furious.
This is inspirational, folks.
