UH OH: RAUF ASSOCIATE SIGNED 9/11 TRUTH DOCUMENT

Remember that 9/11 Truther document that played a major role in forcing former Green Jobs Czar out of his position? Well, now it's been learned that a close associate of the Ground Zero mosque Imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf signed the document as well. Faiz Khan, co-founder with Rauf, of the American Society for Muslim Advancement (ASMA) is currently signatory #52 on the document.

I say "currently" because Van Jones' signature was removed from the document at his request when it became a source of Beck-generated mega controversy. Via the 9/11 Truth website:

Following recent media-generated controversy over Obama appointee Van Jones' signature on this Statement, he and two other signatories have requested their names be removed. That has been done.

Steve Emerson's Investigative Project on Terrorism uncovered the relationship between Rauf and Khan, which invariably opened the door to this discovery. The opening paragraph of the 9/11 Truth website:

NEW YORK CITY, NY (Oct. 26, 2004)(Updated Sep. 11, 2009) - An alliance of 100 prominent Americans and 40 family members of those killed on 9/11 today announced the release of the 911 Truth Statement, a call for immediate inquiry into evidence that suggests high-level government officials may have deliberately allowed the September 11th attacks to occur. The Statement supports an August 31st Zogby poll that found nearly 50% of New Yorkers believe the government had foreknowledge and "consciously failed to act," with 66% wanting a new 9/11 investigation.

In addition to co-founding the ASMA with Rauf, Khan also led prayers at Rauf's mosque.
