VIDEO: OBAMA LEAVES OUT 'CREATOR' WHEN RECITING DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

When I first saw this, I wondered if the long pause from Obama just before he should have said the words, 'our Creator' was because he was uncomfortable with them being on the teleprompter or because they were not on the teleprompter and he was debating whether to include them anyway. After all, he is supposed to be a Constitutional scholar. In either case, he knows how important those words are to the majority of Americans.

In light of the transcript of the speech, I think we have our answer. 'Our Creator' was not on the teleprompter and the pause can likely be attributed to the rising resentment Obama is feeling from the American people about how he continues to govern against them. I view that pause as a sign of shaken confidence. He's feeling the anger of the American people right now and knows that anger will manifest itself at the polls on November 2nd.

Here is Obama quoting the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Gala:
...over the centuries, what eventually bound us together --
what made us all Americans -- was not a matter of blood, it wasn’t a matter of birth. It was faith and fidelity to the shared values that we all hold so dear.We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, endowed with certain inalienable rights: life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Now, the video. Take note of the pause.
