Boehner not long before agreeing to raise taxes: Raising taxes 'unacceptable'
George H.W. Bush was rewarded for going back on his, 'Read my lips. No new taxes' comment by losing a re-election bid. Boehner did exactly the same thing and is still the Speaker. Check out what he said two months ago.
