SENATOR BARBARA BOXER'S $8 MILLION INDIAN TRIBAL PROBLEM

What do you get when a piece of dead legislation authored by one liberal Democrat Representative is picked up and given life by a liberal Democrat Senator? In this case, $8 million worth of corruption. The Representative was Lynn Woolsey, who introduced a bill in 1998 that would reinstate an Indian tribe that had been ruled non-existent 30 years earlier by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). After the BIA determined that there was no evidence the participants of the revived tribe had any connection to the defunct one, the bill sat - until 2000, when Senator Barbara "don't call me ma'am" Boxer picked it up, made some changes, and Bill Clinton signed it.

Via Rick Manning at The Hill:
Shortly after passage, the newly minted Indian tribe declared that after much soul-searching, the only thing it could do was open a casino on the outskirts of San Francisco in the town of Rohnert Park.

The tribe turned its fortunes over to two firms to make its dreams of wealth come true — Platinum Advisers, a political consulting/lobbying firm, and Kenwood Investments 2. Amazingly, and I’m certain quite coincidentally, Barbara Boxer’s son, Doug, was a partner in each firm.

To avoid immediate citizen concern about a casino popping up in their posh neighborhood, Doug Boxer’s Kenwood Investments 2 kindly fronted for the casino interests in purchasing a tract of land in Rohnert Park, as well as helpfully taking options on adjoining parcels of land for themselves to sweeten the pot. (Can I say pot and Sonoma County, Calif., in the same breath?)

Then Platinum Advisers sprang into action to try to gain community support for the casino. They apparently didn’t do a very good job, because the casino still is not built 10 years later.

According to Reference.com, Doug Boxer’s take from the project was a very Abramoff-like $8 million.
The best part of all this comes at the end of Manning's piece, which only serves to validate the decision of the BIA back in 1998. The "Chief" of the revived tribe could hardly be considered an Indian, let alone one with ancestors from this tribe.
Of course, my favorite part of this story is the poor bedraggled, downtrodden Indian chief, Greg Sarris. You see, poor Greg Sarris is a Ph.D. who has served as a professor at the University of California at Los Angeles.

Dr. Chief Sarris, according to his own biographical story, was adopted out when he was born, never meeting his natural parents. At some point in his life, like many who have been adopted, he wanted to know about his birth parents, and began to research. He discovered that his mother was deceased, and his father’s name was unlisted on the birth certificate. His mother was not a Native American.
It's then revealed that Sarris' father, Emilio Hilario, was Filipino but that his mother's father had "some Indian ancestry."

So the chief of a rejuvenated Indian tribe had less than a smidgeon of Indian blood in his ancestry and was able to start an entire tribe, which resulted in the Boxer family becoming $8 million richer.

Wow.

1999 VIDEO: BARBARA BOXER WOULD NOT DENOUNCE MURDER

And you thought things only recently started sounding insane. This exchange is truly amazing. In 1999, then Senator Rick Santorum (R) of Pennsylvania engaged California Senator Barbara Boxer in a debate on the Senate floor over the issue of partial birth abortion. Boxer was presented with a premise from Santorum in which he appeared almost apoplectic at her response. Santorum wanted to start with the common ground any rational thinking human being would agree to.

If a baby is delivered and is fully separated from the mother, that baby should have the right to live and that an abortion at that point would actually be murder. Surely, Boxer would agree with that. Uh, not so much. Her argument appeared to be that the baby doesn't have the right to live until it leaves the hospital.

This video really should end all abortion debate and Boxer is clearly in the camp of endorsing murder. We're not even talking semantics at this point. Boxer supports murder.

VIDEO: OBAMA HECKLED FOR SIX MINUTES

Not sure why Barbara Boxer agreed to have Barack Obama head to California to campaign for her. It's the kiss of death for any aspiring incumbent. After these six minutes, Obama likely had second thoughts as well. The entire video is worth watching as audience members pepper Obama with chants of, "Don't ask, don't tell" and "Yes, we can".

The reference to the former was meant to show support for repealing the policy. The chanting of the latter seemed to carry a mocking tone. There are two points where Obama is noticeably angry - one about 1/3 the way into the video and the other toward the end.

Obama was obviously very frustrated by the whole experience.

VIDEO: BARBARA BOXER TARGETS CLIMATEGATE EMAIL HACKER

This trend is becoming extremely disturbing. America's leaders are showing an ever increasingly blatant tendency to side with the true and likely criminals against those who expose them. California Attorney General Jerry Brown appears to be siding with ACORN in his investigation - before it's actually launched - based on an alleged audio recording of ACORN San Diego head David Lagstein saying Brown's office has assured him the Atty General will find fault with the "filmmakers and not Acorn".

Now we have what could be the biggest scandal to befall mankind thanks to someone who decided to expose it by leaking damning emails from East Anglia University's Climate Research Unit and California Senator Barbara Boxer wants to give the potentially fraudulent scientists a pass while targeting the individual who released the emails.

THE HILL reports:
"You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate,'" she said during a committee meeting. "Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I'm looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public."
Unbelievably despicable but it does give us a clearer picture of just how personally invested America's leaders are in their own country's destruction.

Despicable.

VIDEO: BABS BOXER TARGETS WELL DRESSED MOBS

And you thought Babs couldn't out-do herself after telling a General to call her "Senator" instead of, "ma'am" and then playing the race card on the head of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, Harry Alford.

She's topped herself.........again! And you didn't think it was possible.

Her latest foray into insanity is putting forth the notion that it's easy to tell that health care protestors are mobs because they are "Well Dressed".

Why didn't the conservatives listen when the organizers told them to wear gages, nose rings, and purple hair to stay incognito? Even worse is that no one heeded the call to shout obscenities and engage in overt homosexual acts in the streets to perpetuate the illusion further.

VIDEO: O'Reilly Interviews Guy who Punked Barbara Boxer

Harry Alford, president of the National Black Chamber of Commerce called out Barbara Boxer when she tried to play the race card by whipping out resolutions by the NAACP and the CEO of 100 black workers to argue her point on green jobs, which was in opposition to that of Alford.

Alford appeared on O'Reilly's program on July 20th and it was definitely worth watching but Bill refused to concede Alford's point that Boxer was being racial. Yes, the stakes are higher for O'Reilly than they are for the rest of us but Alford's point that Boxer was using black groups to pit against a black group with which she disagreed.

At times, O'Reilly sacrafices objectivity for the sake of being perceived as independent. It was obvious what Boxer was doing and O'Reilly wouldn't admit it.

Other than that, pretty good interview. CLICK HERE to watch.

Just in case you missed the exchange between Alford and Boxer, enjoy....

AUDIO: Harry Alford Rips Boxer AGAIN!

It has been a very racially charged week. The Sonia Sotomayor hearings, two Austin talk show hosts being suspended for using a word Hispanics find offensive, and Dick Durbin saying that the DNA of Alito and Roberts did not allow them to understand the plight of minorities.

Now this!

Yesterday, we saw the video of Harry Alford, President of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, tearing into Barbara Boxer for pulling out the race card against him (don't ask, just click here). Today, he appeared on a webcast and compared Boxer to Jim Crow!

Also listen to Alford as he refers to General Michael Walsh who had the gall to call Barbara Boxer, "Ma'aam". Boxer took offense to the General not calling her "Senator". Alford mentions that the General emailed him after yesterday's episode between he (Alford) and Boxer.

Have a Listen.

After listening to Alford, he seems like a straight-up guy. He is a major critic of green jobs and I think sees the reality for what it is. Hope in a pipe dream. Just when I was ready to give him an A++ (Allusion to what Feinstein gave Sotomayor), he went and admitted that he supports Obama's Healthcare plan.

Just to refresh your memories on the exchange between Boxer and the General...

Alford also appeared on the John Ziegler show and called Boxer a "racist".

Here's the Audio of That one.

VIDEO: Black Leader Calls Babs Boxer Racial

We all know the left is well versed in playing the race card as if it's the right bower whenever they need to win a hand. It was fun to watch California Senator Barbara Boxer (D) overplay her hand with Harry Alford, Chair of the National Black Chamber of Commerce.

From the beginning, Alford was ready to challenge Boxer on their differences with respect to energy policy and she apparently knew it. Which is likely why she had testimonials from the NAACP and John Grant, the "CEO of 100 black workers in Atlanta". Quoting from the latter is what set Alford off.

If Boxer wants to spar with the race card, my suggestion is she learn when and when not to use it. When you're a white female Senator trying to win an argument with the head of the National Black Chamber of Commerce, your best bet would be to leave that card up your sleeve for a later hand.

Boxer apparently too dumb to figure that out.
