Can we now officially put a stake through the argument that Democrats feared Romney the most of any of the Republican candidates? When Jimmy Carter waits until Romney all but locks up the nomination to publicly state that of all the Republican nominees, Romney is his preference, we have a problem.
At some point, the Republican establishment must graduate from being dupes to being accomplices.

Video: Jimmy Carter Refusing to Relinquish 'Worst President Ever' Title
All this talk about Obama being worse than Carter appears to be offending Jimmy. In this news report from Al-Jazeera, Carter all but endorses a Muslim Brotherhood takeover of Egypt. In fact, he's going to help certify the elections. Check out how Carter has the gall to say that the peace treaty he brokered between Egyptian president Anwar Sadat and Menachim Begin has been honored over the years while the rights of the Palestinians have been ignored.
Lost on Carter is the fact that Sadat was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood for signing the deal in the first place.
Here is an older report on Sadat's assassination:

Video: Ron Paul shows his Love for Iran
In the wake of the Iranian nuclear scientist who was assassinated with a car bomb, Ron Paul seems to jump to the defense of Iran here. In fact, right off the bat, Paul says, "We should empathize with them" and calls Iran "victims of terrorism." A little later, he refers to Iran as "a very weak nation" and that "they don't want trouble." Paul proceeds to call "the idea that (Iran) is looking for a fight," nothing more than a "concoction," which only garners more sympathy for a country found to have been behind the 9/11 attacks just last month.
Pay attention at the 3:40 mark. Fox's Megyn Kelly asks Paul what he would do as President if Iran followed through with its threat to shut down the straits of Hormuz. His answer? There really isn't one. He makes an attempt to say withdrawing the sanctions would prevent them from doing such a thing. He then seems convinced that Iran would never shut down the straits.
As I watched this, I kept waiting for this guy to unzip his body suit and Jimmy Carter to be revealed.

Video: NRSC Ad Juxtaposes Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama
If you had any doubt that Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter are cut from the same cloth, this ad from the NRSC should seal the deal.

Along these lines, consider an article written by none other than Alan Dershowitz in 2007. In it, he makes the case that Jimmy Carter was beholden to Arab interests.

Along these lines, consider an article written by none other than Alan Dershowitz in 2007. In it, he makes the case that Jimmy Carter was beholden to Arab interests.
Here is an excerpt:
The extent of Carter's financial support from, and even dependence on, dirty money is still not fully known. What we do know is deeply troubling. Carter and his Center have accepted millions of dollars from suspect sources, beginning with the bail-out of the Carter family peanut business in the late 1970s by BCCI, a now-defunct and virulently anti-Israeli bank indirectly controlled by the Saudi Royal family, and among whose principal investors is Carter's friend, Sheikh Zayed. Agha Hasan Abedi, the founder of the bank, gave Carter "$500,000 to help the former president establish his center...[and] more than $10 million to Mr. Carter's different projects."Fast forward to 2008. Remember when Percy Sutton claimed that he was approached by Khalid al-Mansour to write a letter of recommendation for Obama so the latter could get into Harvard? At the time, Mansour was a very close adviser to Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal who, if Sutton was truthful here, would have been the man behind Obama's entry into Harvard:

J.C. WATTS SLAMS JIMMY CARTER
I love J.C. Watts. In fact, my high regard for him as a person and a politician should exempt me from charges of racism for disagreeing with Obama on practically everything that comes out of his mouth. Watts wrote an Op-ed that appeared in the Las Vegas Review Journal that excoriates Jimmy Carter for making such unsubstantiated and egregious claims.
The first paragraph of Watts' piece is particularly telling and goes right to the heart of the hypocrisy that is so prevalent on the left.
The last paragraph is good too:

The first paragraph of Watts' piece is particularly telling and goes right to the heart of the hypocrisy that is so prevalent on the left. "There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president."Jimmy Carter, who once considered himself to be in the mold of a segregationist, is lecturing conservatives on matters of race?
That comment comes from former President Jimmy Carter, which is fascinating considering Carter once ran for governor of Georgia proclaiming himself to be a "Lester Maddox Democrat." (Maddox, a former Georgia governor, was an avowed segregationist who opposed integration under the Civil Rights Act.)
The last paragraph is good too:
Ironically, I wonder how President Carter would view things if it were President Clarence Thomas proposing tax relief, protection for the unborn, raising the troop levels in Afghanistan or exploring for oil right here in the United States. The big meaty middle is worth reading too.

AUDIO: JOHN MCCAIN SAID WHAT?
John McCain has angered yours truly on more than one occassion with his unending willingness to get in bed with the opposition in the name of bi-partisanship. So much more often than not, it has only served to damage the party he claims to serve.
Today, on Michael Medved's show however, McCain referred to Jimmy Carter as the "worst president in history" while giving his thoughts on Carter's assertion that there is an undertone of race inherent in those who oppose Obama.
Coming from practically any other Republican, this would not be newsworthy. Coming from John McCain, it's a headline.
