Good News: Rand Paul rankling his father's Supporters

This is really a sight to behold - on so many levels. For starters, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is rightfully opposing the nomination of Chuck Hagel as Barack Obama's next Secretary of Defense. The more time that goes by, the more obvious it becomes that Hagel is anti-Israel at best and anti-Semitic at worst. Something else that is becoming more apparent is that the more we learn about Hagel, the more we seem to confirm about the Ron Paul crowd.

When you even hint that the Pauliens oppose Israel, they do what so many on the left do - they twist themselves into knots by making some obscure argument that we should allow Israel to protect itself because that is in Israel's best interest. The thinking apparently goes that isolationism is good for everyone, including a small tract of land at the center of multiple countries who have an unfathomable hate for everyone on that tract of land.

Consider the 2011 statement by Eric Dondero, a former senior aid for Ron Paul. He made it quite clear during the last presidential campaign that Rand's father was anti-Israel.

Is Ron Paul an Anti-Semite? Absolutely No. As a Jew, (half on my mother’s side), I can categorically say that I never heard anything out of his mouth, in hundreds of speeches I listened too over the years, or in my personal presence that could be called, “Anti-Semite.” No slurs. No derogatory remarks.

He is however, most certainly Anti-Israel, and Anti-Israeli in general. He wishes the Israeli state did not exist at all. He expressed this to me numerous times in our private conversations. His view is that Israel is more trouble than it is worth, specifically to the America taxpayer. He sides with the Palestinians, and supports their calls for the abolishment of the Jewish state, and the return of Israel, all of it, to the Arabs.

The Pauliens know that agreeing with this outwardly is a loser, so they dismiss Dondero's claims while denouncing Rand's opposition to Hagel, despite the latter apparently lining up almost exactly with the Ron Paul that Dondero describes.

That leads to the Pauliens' problem with Rand, via the Daily Caller:

Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul’s vote to temporarily block Chuck Hagel’s nomination for secretary of defense elicited blowback from an unlikely source: antiwar conservatives and libertarians, many of them supporters of his father’s GOP presidential campaign.

Paul, the son of former Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul, joined all but four Republican senators Thursday in voting against a motion to end debate over Hagel’s nomination. GOP leaders are saying that they will not filibuster Hagel indefinitely, but instead want to delay a vote until they have more information about his speeches and finances.

“That is also why I voted to not end debate on the Hagel nomination,” Paul said in a statement. “I do not believe Sen. Hagel has adequately explained his activities and their financing since he left the Senate, and I believe this criteria is especially important when dealing with the revolving door between government and the private sector.”

That explanation wasn’t good enough for Justin Raimondo, editorial director of Antiwar.com and a strong supporter of Ron Paul. “It’s time for libertarians to treat Rand Paul like the turncoat he is: boycott,” Raimondo tweeted. “No $$, no support, and start calling him Paul the Lesser.”

It appears the longer Hagel is scrutinized, the more the Pauliens show their true, anti-Israel colors as well.

Ron Paul, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton in agreement over Apology for Qur'an Burning

Ron Paul is really courting that Muslim vote. I no sooner posted the link to the Big Peace article in which his campaign volunteers posted a flyer in Arabic that touted him as the candidate who would cut-off aid to Israel, when I noticed this.

He is in agreement with the apology Obama issued to Hamid Karzai over the Qur'an burnings. He expressed this sentiment while questioning Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing.

Bringing up the scandal provoked by a viral video depicting American Marines urinating on Taliban corpses, Paul voiced his overall opposition to the war that created thousands of refugees in the country.

"Does it ever get to the point where apologizing about the Koran is rather minor, considering some of the other problems we have created in [Afghanistan]?" Paul asked.

Clinton said she appreciated Paul's measured comments about Obama and other presidents offering apologies "when we are deeply sorry for unfortunate incidents that occur, that were not intentional, and which we know have emotional resonance with people."

The premise a vast majority of the Pauliens operate from is one that says the U.S. Government (not Islamic terrorists) is responsible for the 9/11 attacks. As such, the inclination is to believe that the former is a greater threat than the latter. By their own admission, the Pauliens will tell you that the Islamic threat is overrated.

Again, the only way these comments by Paul are not viewed as out of bounds is if you believe the government is worse than the terrorists.

The 9/11 Truth crowd has found that the springboard for its conspiratorial beliefs is placing them in the camp of America's true enemies.

Apparently, as an added bonus, the more Paul talks like this, the more he garners Muslim / anti-Semitic votes.

Ron Paul Shoring up that Muslim Vote

The laundry list of items that point to Ron Paul and his supporters siding with Islamists against western civilization continues to grow. We know the vast majority of his supporters either believe 9/11 was an inside job or won't dismiss the notion. This premise alone sows the seeds for an environment that allows for the embrace of Islam without critical thinking because the U.S. Government is the bigger threat according to such Pauliens.

Anyway, the latest example is courtesy of Big Peace, which has posted a flyer written in Arabic, that has Ron Paul Letterhead at the top. It was distributed in Michigan:

The flyer actually has two sides. The English side promotes Paul’s “Plan to Restore America” and touts his deficit cutting prowess and dislike of the Federal Reserve. The Arabic side, however – the side shown above – is far less subtle. It says that Paul will cut foreign aid, and specifically mentions only foreign aid to Israel as the target of cutting.

And that’s the point. Paul’s appeal to the Muslim community is strictly and completely based on his opposition to Israel. Paul’s anti-Semitism is well-documented; see his section on Zionism in Paul’s book Liberty Defined (better titled All The Weird Things Ron Paul Believes). His CYA maneuver, stating that he wants to cut all foreign aid, then determine to whom American should restore aid, is just that – a CYA maneuver. His real target is and always was Israel. I don’t see Ron Paul supporters handing out Hebrew flyers at my synagogue proclaiming his desire to cut off aid to Egypt, Libya, and the Palestinian Authority.

Unwittingly or not, the Pauliens have decided that their guy's issues are so important that they transcend taking a stand against America's enemies.

Ron Paul Pot meet Conspiracy 'Addict' Kettle

Hypocrisy on a stick, anyone? When asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer about claims that he has entered into an alliance with Mitt Romney that involves his son Rand possibly being chosen as Romney's running mate, Ron Pau, who has sown up the 9/11 Truther conspiracy vote, accuses Rick Santorum of being an 'addict on conspiracies.' If ever there was an example of projection, this is it. In fact, the conspiracy theory mindset among a significant contingent of Paul's supporters doesn't even know how to take anything at face value because everything is a conspiracy.

I have my own theory on why Paul is laying off of Romney.

And, of course, there is no bigger conspiracy theorist than radio talk show host Alex Jones. Ron Paul is a regular on Jones' program and has the full endorsement of Jones, who is a 9/11 Truther himself.

Of course, in this video, Ron Paul practically admits to being a 9/11 Truther. At minimum, he certainly helped to fuel the conspiracy with his answer. That answer also proves that Ron Paul is not willing to come forward with everything he believes because of what it would do to him politically (see above video with Wolf Blitzer).

After watching this, remember that it was Paul who called Santorum an "addict on conspiracies."

Video: Mitt Romney / Ron Paul Alliance now Obvious?

Wouldn't you love to know how the Ron Paul purists rationalize this bit of hypocrisy? It is becoming increasingly apparent that there is some sort of a deal between Mitt Romney and Ron Paul. If true, the "incorruptible" congressman from Texas has apparently decided to compromise his principles and fight for the nomination of Mitt Romney.

Ron Paul, you know, the guy who touts himself as the only candidate who doesn't play politics and simply does what's right, is said to have reached an agreement with Mitt Romney. At least according to former Congressman Joe Scarborough, there is zero doubt. Ditto for campaign strategist Mark McKinnon.

The speculation is that the deal between Paul and Romney is that Senator Rand Paul will be offered the VP slot if Romney gets the nomination. One thing is for sure, though. In the debates, Romney and Paul have left each other alone.

Politics as usual, hey Pauliens? I thought Mitt Romney was Dracula without a cape.

Ron Paul's lack of Fiscal Transparency

Ain't this interesting. Whenever the subject of the Federal Reserve is brought up to Ron Paul, one of the things he makes hay about is the institution's secrecy; it's hiding something very big. It's one of the things he points to right before he demands that the Fed be audited.

However, it seems Dr. Paul has something about which he should be open to showing others. In particular, on several occasions, the congressman from Texas was allegedly reimbursed twice for various flights. The worst part? He allegedly knew about it.

Rep. Paul, through his offices, has repeatedly refused to cooperate by providing access to the Congressman and pertinent staff members. As an elected member of government, it would look better if Paul set an example for the same type of transparency in his professional financial dealings, as he has long advocated for with regard to other branches of government.

I have a suggestion for Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke the next time he is testifying before a congressional committee.

He should say the following before he issues his opening statement.

"I hereby call for an audit of Congressman Ron Paul's plane ticket reimbursements."

Video: Have Ron Pauliens become PSYOP Victims?

Ron Paul supporters are a very passionate bunch. They're all in for their guy. A large majority of them are 9/11 Truthers who believe the United States government is responsible for 9/11. When you point out to them that there are a lot of Muslims and communists who share that view, they dismiss it. When anti-Semitic musings were revealed to have been published in his newsletters, his supporters dismissed it. When Eric Dondero, formerly a very close aid to Ron Paul, wrote that the Republican presidential candidate is "most certainly Anti-Israel, and Anti-Israeli in general," his supporters dismissed it. When it was discovered that Ron Paul quoted Robert Pape on his website as someone whose foreign policy views he respects, his supporters dismissed the fact that Pape has close ties to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). When Ron Paul says it's our fault that the Muslim world hates us, his supporters nod in agreement.

The examples are endless but here is what could be the perfect case in point for why the Pauliens are unwitting dupes. His name is Yousef al Khattab. Formerly known as Joseph Cohen, Khattab converted to Islam from Judaism. He co-founded a website named Revolution Muslim with a man named Younus Abdullah Muhammed, formerly named Jesse Curtis Morton. Younus was recently convicted of using the Internet to solicit murder. Since that conviction, Yousef has reportedly toned down his rhetoric.

Here is a Fox News report from 2008. In it, Khattab expresses support for the beheading and murder of Daniel Pearl, saying that he was a spy and was rightly convicted and executed. Note something else. According to Fox News reporter Rick Levanthal, Khattab completely rejects the United States constitution and America's founders.



What does this have to do with Ron Paul? Well, in 2012, Yousef al Khattab is suddenly a libertarian who supports the constitution and passionately supports Ron Paul. Here is a video from Khattab's YouTube channel. Pay particularly close attention at the 2:45 mark where he says he's a libertarian and a Ron Paul supporter. Then, at the 5:10 mark, Khattab says he believes in less government and that everything should be done constitutionally. He reiterates his support for Ron Paul and calls Israel a "terrorist enemy."



I have increasingly come to the conclusion that Ron Paul supporters have essentially become the victims of Islamist PSYOP techniques. The secret to this technique is to appeal to the preconceived notions of your enemy while getting that enemy to support your main agenda, either through acquiescence or activism.

Deception (military or political) includes manipulating, distorting, withholding, or falsifying evidence available to an opponent. History has shown that it is far easier to deceive by reinforcing an opponent’s existing preconceptions than it is to persuade him to change his mind. PSYOP personnel should encourage the opponent that the most likely way of achieving the objective will in fact be adopted (thereby diverting his attention from an alternative plan). Given two options, one of which reinforces our existing point of view, people are more likely to believe what they already suspect. Psychologically, they are gratified by evidence that confirms their preconceptions. People generally attach undue importance to evidence supporting their point of view and reject that which does not. PSYOP personnel should avoid deception that requires persuading a target audience of something it is not already predisposed to believe. -- U.S. Army Field Manual FM 33-1-1, Psychological Operations Techniques and Procedures, Appendix A, "Deception Operations."

Ron Paul has increasingly become an apologist for Islam while appealing to the righteous position of adhering to the U.S. Constitution while calling for things like a smaller government with drastic cuts in spending, which are positions that actually resonate with clear-thinking individuals.

The vast majority of Paul's supporters think the Islamic threat to America is "overrated" and that's just the way the Islamists like it.

Video: Former Al-Qaeda Supporter Endorses Ron Paul

The man you see in the video below is Yousef al Khattab, formerly Joseph Cohen. He is a close colleague of a man named Younes Abdullah Muhammad, formerly known as Jesse Morton.  Muhammad recently pleaded guilty to three counts of, essentially, terrorism.

Jesse Curtis Morton, aka Younus Abdullah Muhammed, 33, of New York City, pleaded guilty today to using his position as a leader of Revolution Muslim Organization’s Internet sites to conspire to solicit murder, make threatening communications, and use the Internet to place others in fear.

Here is more on the website the two men co-founded.

Khattab has formerly expressed support for Osama bin Laden and the Revolution Muslim website is tied to quite a few terrorists.

Believe it or not, all of that is secondary to the purpose of this post. In this video, Khattab talks about his friend in sympathetic terms and if you fast forward to the 20:48 mark, he throws his complete and total support behind Ron Paul for president.

Hey Ron Pauliens, it's time to wake up now.

Video: Ron Paul Once Again Defending Islamists

More South Carolina debate video. This time, Bret Baier asks Paul about killing bin Laden in Pakistan. In an attempt to make his point about why it wasn't necessary, Paul makes reference to the capture of Saddam Hussein as something that could have been a viable alternative. Baier quickly reminds Paul that the congressman was against going into Iraq (Paul ignored that part).

Then Newt comes in at the end of this and once again skewers Paul's foreign policy views, which are convoluted, at best.

Video: Ron Paul shows his Love for Iran

In the wake of the Iranian nuclear scientist who was assassinated with a car bomb, Ron Paul seems to jump to the defense of Iran here. In fact, right off the bat, Paul says, "We should empathize with them" and calls Iran "victims of terrorism." A little later, he refers to Iran as "a very weak nation" and that "they don't want trouble." Paul proceeds to call "the idea that (Iran) is looking for a fight," nothing more than a "concoction," which only garners more sympathy for a country found to have been behind the 9/11 attacks just last month.

Pay attention at the 3:40 mark. Fox's Megyn Kelly asks Paul what he would do as President if Iran followed through with its threat to shut down the straits of Hormuz. His answer? There really isn't one. He makes an attempt to say withdrawing the sanctions would prevent them from doing such a thing. He then seems convinced that Iran would never shut down the straits.

As I watched this, I kept waiting for this guy to unzip his body suit and Jimmy Carter to be revealed.

Timmerman: Ron Paul Loved by Iranian Regime

This is an extremely disturbing development in light of the recent federal court ruling in the southern district of New York that found Iran and Hezbollah to be behind 9/11. Kenneth Timmerman, who was an expert witness in Havlish et al. v. Iran et al., makes a strong case that Iran is supporting Ron Paul for president.

The Iranian regime’s English language propaganda channel, PressTV, has discovered a new American idol: presidential contender Rep. Ron Paul.

PressTV has stepped up its coverage of Paul’s campaign to win the Republican presidential nomination in recent weeks, featuring his anti-Israel rants, his claim that sanctions against Iran are “acts of war,” his approval of Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and much more.

The Iranian government channel portrays Ron Paul as an American hero, and brings on conspiracy theorists masquerading as political “analysts” to laud him for  “challenging the American establishment” and the “corporate neo-conservative Zionist consensus,” that cabal of Jews, banksters, and Reagan Democrats who in Tehran’s eyes (and in the eyes of these Ron Paul supporters) run the world.

It’s a script taken almost word-for-word from the infamous anti-Semitic forgery, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

Press TV, which is a media arm of the Iranian regime, is singing Ron Paul's praises in ways not all that dissimilar from how Debbie Wasserman-Schultz praises Obama. Here are some Ron Paul sound clips featured by Press TV via Timmerman's piece:

“Just think of how many nuclear weapons surround Iran. The Chinese are there, the Indians are there, the Pakistanis are there, the Israelis are there, the United States is there. All these countries—China has nuclear weapons! Wouldn’t it be natural that they might want a weapon? Internationally, they’d be given more respect… They have no evidence that they are working on a weapon. “Paul blasts US policy on Iran, Aug. 12, 2011.

“I think they’re acting in self-defense… That is a gross distortion of this debate that they’re on the verge of a nuclear weapon.” Ron Paul defends his anti-war policies, Dec. 16, 2011

“At least our leaders and Reagan talked to the Soviets. What is so terribly bad about this? Countries you put sanctions on, you are more likely to fight them. I say a policy of peace is free trade, stay out of their internal business. Do not get involved in these wars and bring our troops home.” Ron Paul blasts US policy on Iran, Aug. 12, 2011

Then, of course, there is the fact that Paul touts Robert Pape's foreign policy views; Pape reportedly has ties to CAIR. It would seem that we might be learning a little bit more about why Paul always seems to defend the Islamists.

Is this Ron Paul's 'Jeremiah Wright'?

Not sure if the relationship between Robert Pape and Ron Paul is as close as the relationship between Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright but the fact that Paul defers to Pape's 'expertise' on the former's website is more than a little disconcerting. In a web entry on his site about why Muslims are attacking the United States, Paul (are we to assume it's actually Paul) writes:

Robert Pape has extensively researched this issue and goes in depth in his book "Cutting the Fuse:  The Explosion of Global Suicide Terrorism and How to Stop It".  In fact, of 2,200 incidents of suicide attacks he has studied worldwide since 1980, 95% were in response to foreign occupation.

Pape notes that before our invasion of Iraq, only about 10% of suicide terrorism was aimed at Americans or American interests.  Since, then however, not only is suicide terrorism greatly on the rise, but 91% of it is now directed at us.

In a column by Joel Richardson at WND, the writer points out that Pape has some disturbing ties to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has extensive ties to Hamas and the larger Muslim Brotherhood. He links to an article written in 2010 and posted to the Investigative Project on Terrorism website:

University of Chicago political scientist Robert Pape, whose research finds religious extremism has a limited role in suicide bombings, is working secretly with a suspected Hamas front to pump up sales of his new book, the Investigative Project on Terrorism has learned. That includes a secret agreement by CAIR to have its chapters around the country to buy them in bulk so they can manipulate the sales to move up the bestseller ranks. Pape is also scheduled to appear at this weekend's national banquet for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)

If Paul is citing Robert Pape as someone who has helped to reinforce the congressman's view on these subjects, it explains quite a bit about the presidential candidate's insane positions. It also helps to explain why he's getting the 'Truther' vote. Ain't it funny how much of the Islamic world consists of truthers too?

Alan Dershowitz Targets Ron Paul in Piece about Anti-Semitism going Mainstream Again

Alan Dershowitz has an interesting piece about why anti-Semitism is becoming more mainstream these days. He doesn't let Ron Paul off the hook.

For the first time since the end of World War II, classic anti-Semitic tropes—"the Jews" control the world and are to blame for everything that goes wrong, including the financial crisis; "The Jews killed Christian children in order to use the blood to bake Matzo; the Holocaust never happened—are becoming acceptable and legitimate subjects for academic and political discussion. To understand why these absurd and reprehensible views, once reserved for the racist fringes of academia and politics, are now moving closer to the mainstream, consider the attitudes of two men, one an academic, the other a politician, toward those who express or endorse such bigotry. The academic is Professor Brian Leiter. The politician is Ron Paul.

Later in the piece, Dershowitz expounds on his problem with Ron Paul:

Paul has, according to The New York Times, refused to "disavow" the "support" of "white supremacists, survivalists and anti-Zionists who have rallied behind his candidacy." (These "anti-Zionists" believe that "Zionists"—Jews—control the world, were responsible for the bombing of the Oklahoma federal building, and caused the economic downturn, because "most of the leaders involved in the federal and international banking system are Jews.") He allowed his "Ron Paul survival report" to espouse David Duke type racism and anti-Semitism for years during the 1990s, claiming he was unaware that they were being promoted under his name. Edward H. Crane, the founder of the libertarian CATO Institute, has said, "I wish Ron would condemn those fringe things that float around" his campaign, but he refuses to reject the support of these anti-Semites who form a significant part of his base. The New York Times has criticized Paul for his failure to "convincingly repudiate racist remarks that were published under his name for years—or the enthusiastic support he is getting from racist groups," including those that espouse "anti-Semitism and far right paranoia."

Even now, Paul continues to accept contributions from Holocaust deniers, from those who blame the Jews for everything and from other bigots, thus lending some degree of legitimacy to their hateful views.

When Nazi anti-Semitism began to achieve mainstream legitimacy in Germany and Austria in the 1930's, it was not because Hitler, Goebbels and Goering were espousing it. Their repulsive views had been known for years. It was because non Nazis—especially prominent academics, politicians and artists—were refusing to condemn anti-Semitism and those who espoused it.

It has been said that "all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Leiter and Paul may or may not be good men, but they are guilty of more than merely doing nothing. They are, by their actions, helping to legitimate the oldest of bigotries. Shame on them!

Paul's camp has been quite bold when it comes to running negative ads that target his Republican opponents. Huntsman, Gingrich, Perry, and Santorum can all attest to it.

If Paul continues to up the ante with negative ad campaigns (the ad against Huntsman was particularly egregious), he might start seeing ads from his opponents that focus on the support he gets from anti-Semitic individuals and groups.

Video: Palin says Ron Paul is 'Pro-Israel'

Is this Sarah Palin, the populist, defending Ron Paul as someone who is 'pro-Israel' but wants to protect them in a 'different way.' Palin portrays herself as a strong advocate for Israel, which makes this statement on her part all the more disturbing. It sounds like she doesn't believe the claims of former Paul aide, Eric Dondero, or the scores of corroborating videos / writings that show Paul as being anti-Israel.

Not sure what Palin is thinking here but this could cause her to drop a few pegs with the Tea Party base.

Video: Ron Paul's 9/11 Truth Problem Growing

Does anyone but me get the sense that Ron Paul has to walk a fine line with 9/11 Trutherism similar to what Mitt Romney has done on abortion? Ron Paul has been courting the Truther vote ever since the theory that 9/11 was an inside job began to surface. Now that he's a top tier candidate in Iowa, appearing on mainstream media outlets, he has to distance himself from them.

Check out this rather defensive exchange Paul had with ABC's Jake Tapper:



That is a far different answer from what Ron Paul gave to a Truther in Los Angeles. When asked why he won't come out publicly about 9/11 Trutherism, Paul says it's because the issue is too controversial, not because he doesn't believe it. Fast forward to the :52 mark.

Ron Paul Catching the Wrath of Sheila Jackson Lee

One of the members of the racist group known as the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) is going after Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) over the racist comments that appeared in the latter's newsletters.

The story was covered extensively by the Houston Chronicle and the San Antonio Express-News in 1996, when Paul sought to reclaim a seat in Congress, and 2007, when Paul was running for the Republican presidential nomination. But the newsletters did not receive significant media attention until last week, when the Texas congressman took the lead in the Iowa presidential caucuses.

Today, the woman who represents the Houston congressional district long represented by Jordan demanded an apology.

“Ron Paul cannot continue to pursue the position of the presidency of the United States of America without formally apologizing and discussing his true positions regarding these newsletter writings,” Jackson Lee said in a statement.

Moments like these lend themselves to Alien vs. Predator comparisons, where both sides are bad and you just want to see each go after the other.

The comment from Paul about Jordan, if she was anything like Lee, is probably not that far off, especially when it comes to her intellect.

Lee, a vice-chair for the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) caucus, once asked if the Mars rover would be able to get some video of the flag Neil Armstrong planted.

Frankly, if Paul wants to see an increase in support, he should probably stand behind the portion of the newsletter that Lee objects to. His problems are likely to come from the likes of David Duke and Donald Black, the founder of STORMFRONT and former American Nazi Party member. They have both expressed support for Paul, in part, based on the content in those newsletters.

As a Republican, Paul could benefit from some raised dander on any member of the CBC but his alleged anti-Israel views coupled with a David Duke endorsement (Duke has said he will vote for Paul but has not officially endorsed him), won't do him any favors.

Ron Paul: Jews to Blame for 1993 WTC Bombing?

The 'anti-Israel' sentiment former Ron Paul aide Eric Dondero alleges that his former boss harbors, continues to be corroborated with revelations like this. Paul actually put forth the idea that the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, for which Muslim terrorists were convicted, may have been perpetrated by the Jews.

Is it safe to say yet that Ron Paul isn't just courting the Truther vote, he's one of them?

Video: Far Leftist Joe Klein Agrees with Ron Paul

Add TIME's Joe Klein to the list of left-wing whack jobs who sit firmly in the Ron Paul camp when it comes to foreign policy.

Klein, who is completely willing to ignore Iran's holocaust denial and threats to wipe Israel off the map, argues that Iran only wants nuclear weapons so it can deter Israel and Pakistan.

If anyone has been consistently wrong about the Middle East, it's the left. Here's the latest example.

Ron Paul Hearts OWS

No one has picked up more Democrat votes in Iowa than Ron Paul. It looks like he's chumming for more by heaping praise on OWS and comparing it to the Tea Party.

While campaigning in Iowa on Wednesday, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul praised the Occupy Wall Street movement, comparing it to the Tea Party movement. "In many ways, I identify with both groups," Paul said. Both groups are fed up with problems in Washington and "the two-party-system," Paul said while speaking at an insurance company in Des Moines.

Praising the left-wing Occupy Wall Street movement is an unusual move for a Republican presidential candidate, but Ron Paul is, of course, an unusual Republican presidential candidate. He jumped to first place in the Iowa caucus polls partly because of support from people who aren't Republicans. His comments that members of the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street are unhappy with the "two-party system" could fuel speculation that Paul will make a third-party bid of his own--something he has not ruled out.

Although “some people like to paint Occupy left and the Tea Party people right," Paul said, "I think it makes my point. There’s a lot of people unhappy, and they’re not so happy with the two-party system because we have had people go in and out of office, congress changes, the presidency changes, they run on one thing, they do something else. Nothing ever changes."

"The Tea Party and Occupy people are just tired of it all," he said. "And they would like to see changes."

With OWS, there is one argument the group has that is not without merit; Paul actually hits on it.

Paul praised the Occupy movement for focusing attention on the “very rich” who became wealthy because of government bailouts or contracts, but said that wealthy people who make an honest living “have to be protected. We shouldn’t be jealous or envious of those people.”

That paragraph, taken by itself is quite accurate but the elephant in the room when it comes to Paul supporting OWS is the fact that the movement wants much bigger government, not less, which flies in the face of everything Paul allegedly stands for. OWS has the support of public sector unions, the American Nazi Party, the Communist Party USA, and CAIR.

When it comes to profiling the Tea Party and OWS, there is absolutely no comparison. Just look at the more than $25 million in damages and over 5,000 arrests that have taken place at OWS protests. The Tea Party has no such blemish.

If Paul keeps this up, team Obama might end up being more concerned about a third party run than will the Republican Party.

Ron Paul gets the 'Coveted' David Duke Endorsement

This has not been a good week for Ron Paul's PR machine. First, a former aide claims that Paul is 'definitely anti-Israel' and wants to give all of that land to the Arabs. A 2009 video of Paul claiming that Israel 'started' Hamas surfaced. Then, a charge levied by a writer at Big Government that Paul told him he would not have intervened to stop the holocaust. Now, Paul gets the endorsement of former KKK Grand Wizard, David Duke.

Ron Paul was a hot topic this week on the talk radio show hosted by prominent white supremacist Don Black and his son Derek. Mr. Black said he received Mr. Paul’s controversial newsletters when they were first published about two decades ago and described how the publications were perceived by members of the white supremacist movement. Former KKK Grand Wizard and Louisiana Congressman David Duke also phoned in to explain why he’s voting for Mr. Paul.

“Everybody, all of us back in the 80′s and 90′s, felt Ron Paul was, you know, unusual in that he had actually been a Congressman, that he was one of us and now, of course, that he has this broad demographic–broad base of support,” Mr. Black said on his broadcast yesterday.

Mr. Black is a former Klansman and member of the American Nazi Party who founded the “white nationalist” website Stormfront in 1995. He donated to Mr. Paul in 2007 and has been photographed with the candidate. Mr. Paul has vocal supporters in Stormfront’s online forum. Mr. Black has repeatedly said he doesn’t currently think Mr. Paul is a “white nationalist.”

Remember, the American Nazi Party also endorsed the OWS protests. This might help explain why some of the Pauliens get a little defensive when OWS is denigrated.

KKK = Nazis = Anti-Semites = Islam

Go figure. Ron Paul is apparently anti-Israel.
