CNN Contributor involved in 'Trentadue Mission'?

Today, Juliette Kayyem is a CNN contributor who has been taking some bizarre positions relative to the bombings in Boston, almost going out of her way to avoid the truth that the two primary suspects are Muslim and that their religion may have contributed. Kayyem is also a former DHS Assistant Secretary.

In 1997, Kayyem was more than just a little familiar with the bizarre circumstances surrounding the death of Kenneth Michael Trentadue, who died in a federal prison in 1995. For years, the Medical Examiner refused to rule the death a suicide. On October 1, 1997, Kayyem sent an email and referred to the 'Trentadue mission' as being "like coordinating the invasion of Normandy'. She also made reference to 'Eric's schedule', presumably a reference to then Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder.

In 1995, Kenneth Michael Trentadue was taken into custody, presumably because his tattoo, vehicle, height, build, etc. led authorities to believe he might be the infamous John Doe #2 in the Oklahoma City bombing. He was then flown to the Federal Transport Center (FTC) in Oklahoma. He did not live through the night. His death wreaked of cover-up.

The Feds tried to rule it a suicide.

Here is a video of Senator Orrin Hatch at about the time of the aforementioned email. At the time, Hatch, was the Senate Judiciary Chairman:

Fred Jordan, the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner was the Feds' main obstacle to ruling the death a suicide and closing the case. For years, Jordan insisted that Trentadue's death should be ruled a homicide; the Feds wanted him to rule the death a suicide. The Feds and Oklahoma's ME were at an impasse. Someone would blink first.

J.D. Cash - a reporter for the McCurtain Daily Gazette at the time - relayed the circumstances leading up to that moment:
"...Jordan would not budge as long as the FBI and the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) attempted to pressure him. That all changed after the Oklahoma County District Attorney Bob Macy intervened. Shortly after Macy took over, Jordan ruled the death a suicide." - Unsung Davids, pp. 249-150
Here is a news report from a local Oklahoma Fox affiliate on July 3, 1997  in which Jordan was interviewed. This was nearly three months before Kayyem's email was sent regarding 'the Trentadue mission' (video starts at about the :25 mark):

Now, fast forward to this week. Kayyem is being touted by CNN as an expert relative to the Boston marathon bombings.

Via AIM:
“The knots in my stomach tightened with preliminary reports from the New York Post that Boston Police had seized a ‘Saudi National,’” wrote Khaled A Beydoun, a UCLA professor on the Al Jazeera website. His piece was titled, “Boston explosions: ‘Please don’t be Arabs or Muslims.’”

CNN seems ready to promote this narrative, as the channel has turned increasingly for comment and analysis to Juliette Kayyem, a CNN contributor, former U.S. assistant secretary for Homeland Security, and lecturer in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. She “cautioned against putting too much stock in the early reports of Arab involvement,” as one CNN story put it.

Demonstrating her own blindness to the nature of the threat, Kayyem had written a 2011 article for the Boston Globe, “Let US see Al Jazeera,” praising the terror television channel linked to al Qaeda and considered a voice of the Muslim Brotherhood as “a news heavyweight in most of the world.”

Writing at the American Thinker, Ed Lasky noted, “…what is of interest is the background of Juliette Kayyem: President Obama appointed her to serve as the Assistant Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. One would think that a key official at the Department of Homeland Security would see the danger of Al Jazeera being broadcast all over America.”
It never ceases to amaze how the left overlooks the egregious transgressions of its own.

Here is a recent video of Kenneth Trentadue's brother Jesse, who has been fighting for the truth and justice with respect to what happened to his brother:

Video: Jesse Trentadue explains how his brother died at the hands of the Federal Government

Kenneth Michael Trentadue died in a suicide-proof cell at the Federal Transport Center (FTC) in Oklahoma in 1995. Despite overwhelming evidence that Trentadue had been beaten to death by someone other than himself, his death was ruled a suicide. His brother - Jesse Trentadue - has been tirelessly pursuing justice ever since.

In the video below, Jesse explains what it's been like waging such a battle; he told the his brother's story - as well as his own - at a town hall in Seattle on September 6, 2012.

In my book, Unsung Davids, investigative reporter J.D. Cash is the subject of Chapter 8 because of what he did to expose the Department of Justice. Cash also developed a relationship with Jesse Trentadue; there is an entire section in the chapter about what happened to Kenneth Trentadue and who was involved.

Here is Jesse from last week:

Timothy McVeigh and the Occupy Wall Street Protests

As the American Nazi Party officially endorse the Occupy Wall Street protests while sharing the same target - 'Jewish Bankers' - I began thinking about how much Timothy McVeigh would have in common with the protesters. The more I explored the possibility, the more apparent it became to me that the executed Oklahoma City bomber had far more in common with what OWS is all about than with any right wing movement in general, or the Tea Party in particular. The next time someone attempts to paint McVeigh as a right wing extremist, consider that he was anything but.

My latest at Big Government:
Timothy McVeigh Smiling up at #OccupyWallSt Protesters
by Ben Barrack

As the Occupy Wall Street protesters started to gather in various cities across the country, it was soon learned that the American Nazi Party endorsed the movement and called for its members to “…JOIN IN the attack on Judeo-Capitalism.” Even the left wing media is conceding that the OWS crowd is a manifestation of left wing anger intended to counter the Tea Party. Timothy McVeigh was a neo-Nazi. His favorite book was a novel entitled The Turner Diaries, which was written by William L. Pierce, an official with the American Nazi Party; even the far left group Southern Poverty Law Center acknowledges this. We are left to conclude that since the American Nazi Party endorses the OWS protests, so would Mr. McVeigh.

So why would the Nazi Party get behind a left wing movement if the Tea Party is the group that is supposed to be filled with racists and Nazis? Nancy Pelosi said the swastika was the symbol of the Tea Party. Yet, the group whose logo is the swastika has endorsed OWS. Instances of Nazi references at Tea Parties have often involved left wing hijinks. Posters of Obama with a Hitler mustache that appeared at some Tea Party rallies were actually the brainchild of the far left’s LaRouche PAC.

Let’s also not forget the short-lived ‘Crash the Tea Party’ movement that called for left wing activists to infiltrate Tea Parties and behave in ways that would help portray the group as racist. True Tea Party conservatives actively policed themselves when aptly named infiltrators attempted to tar the movement. One of the more blatant examples came courtesy of the Sharp Elbows website. When a man sporting Nazi garb milled around within the group, he was confronted and weeded out. Recently, while defending the OWS protesters, Media Matters’ Eric Boehlert posted a photo of two youths, one holding a sign with a swastika on it that said “No Repeats” and the other with a photo portraying Barack Obama in a Mao suit, at what appeared to be a Tea Party rally. Such behavior is not advisable to be sure but in addition to the protesters in the example Boehlert provided being rather young, those signs were intended to convey a rejection of, not support for, Nazism.

There are other examples of white supremacists infiltrating Tea Parties but such instances are typically strategic attempts at piggy-backing and not the result of a common cause. Consider the case of the Council of Conservative Citizens (CofCC), a neo-Nazi group that uses deceptive means and tactics to infiltrate Tea Parties. In fact, one of Arizona’s Neo-Nazi leaders – JT Ready – deceptively donned partriotic American garb and posed for a photo with Arizona State Senator Russel Pearce, who was responsible for crafting his state’s tough immigration law, SB 1070. Had Pearce known Ready was a Neo-Nazi, he most assuredly would not have granted him a photo-op.

The American Nazi Party is not using deceptive means to graft itself into the Occupy Wall Street protests. Increasingly, it doesn’t seem necessary as a large number of OWS protesters are seen referring to their targets as Jewish Bankers.

That is exactly what the Nazi Party is claiming. This is a common denominator between the two groups. At practically every turn, Tea Party conservatives went out of their way to denounce racist entities and individuals who attempted to join their ranks. Conversely, when it comes to the target of generic OWS protesters and the American Nazi Party, the idea of denunciation comes precariously close to hypocrisy. In any case, Tea Partiers made quick work of Nazi infiltrators. Thus far, OWS doesn’t seem all that interested in doing the same. After all, entities with a common cause make interesting allies who are all too often willing to overlook the political liabilities presented by the other.

Let’s consider the target of the OWS protesters. The object of the group’s collective ire is Wall Street in general and bankers in particular. They are demanding that rich bankers be made to give up their wealth so that it can be re-distributed. In essence, the protesters are calling for institutionalized bank robbery. Go figure, Timothy McVeigh was also a bank robber, as were several of his colleagues.

Moreover, the left always defaults to the Timothy-McVeigh-was-a-Christian argument every time the subject of Islamic terror comes up. In fact, the only thing more maddening than that meme is when it goes unchallenged by conservatives who never seem to bring up the fact that McVeigh was agnostic. Oh, that reminds me. The agnostic movement seems to be largely supportive of the OWS protests as well. A perusal of the Agnositics International forum should sufficiently demonstrate that. Also, take note that a guitarist for the band Agnostic Front is in support of the OWS protests too.

Everyone acknowledges that McVeigh believed in solving his problems with violence. The crime that led to his execution proves that but what about the OWS crowd? Democratic pollster Douglas Schoen discovered that nearly one-third of the OWS protesters are in support of violence to further the group’s agenda; 98% support civil disobedience. Something tells me Timothy McVeigh would fit right in with this bunch.

At the very least, the left should think twice before painting Timothy McVeigh as a poster child for the right wing extremist movement. Such a charge, now more than ever, reeks of projection.

WHAT IF TIMOTHY MCVEIGH HAD A YOUTUBE ACCOUNT?

While watching the reprehensible politicization of the Arizona shooting by the left unfold, it's not a stretch to compare what's happening now with what the Clinton administration did with Timothy McVeigh and the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. A big problem for the left today, however, is that shooter Jared Loughner left quite a telling digital footprint of himself on the internet in the form of a YouTube Account. Not only does it reveal a deranged man but exposes someone antithetical to groups and individuals the left is trying to associate him with.

That is the basis for my latest column at Big Peace:
In 1995, the internet was still trying to get its sea legs; it was nowhere near the force it has become today in getting information to the public. On April 19th of that year, 168 people were killed in Oklahoma City and a man named Timothy McVeigh was largely responsible. Then president Bill Clinton resurrected his presidency by painting McVeigh as a right wing extremist.

Imagine if the internet of today had been available then. Would Clinton have been able to pull off such a despicable smear campaign? Not likely.

The image of McVeigh portrayed by the White House was one of an angry white Christian made even angrier by his time in the Gulf War. The narrative was difficult to refute because so much information about him was unavailable. Much of what would have been learned about McVeigh a few short hours after the bombing wasn’t actually learned until his authorized biography was released in 2002 – things like the fact McVeigh was agnostic and said “science is my religion,” which would actually align him more closely with the man-made climate change crowd or Nazis than with Christians.

In the hours after the shooting rampage in Tucson, AZ that saw the near death of a U.S. Congresswoman and the actual death of a Federal Judge, available to the public was an extensive profile of the gunman, Jared Loughner. For example, his YouTube page identified a video of an American flag burning as his favorite; also featured were his writings, which exhibited contempt for the U.S. Constitution, the Christian Bible, and God. He also listed the Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf as two of his favorite books.

What would Timothy McVeigh’s YouTube, MySpace, and facebook pages look like?

In light of what we now know about McVeigh, he likely would have been open to showing a video of the burning of an American flag. Perhaps he would have posted incoherent rants about not being able to trust in God. Among his favorite books, he likely would have listed the Neo-Nazi novel, the Turner Diaries. Perhaps he would have explained his rationale for not believing in God or for the contempt he had for the U.S. Military for handing him a Bible as a recruit.

We can speculate on such things because McVeigh and Jared Loughner seem to share similar beliefs and we should have no compunction about comparing the two.

However, as the strategists of Obama’s party demonstrate an eagerness to portray Loughner as the Clinton administration portrayed McVeigh, they’re indifferent to how informed Americans are about the similarities that exist between Loughner and McVeigh. Those similarities say more about the left in America than they do about those they attempt to demonize by any means necessary.

The 1995 Clinton playbook is doomed to fail in a facebook world.

THE LEFT: TURNING TUSCON INTO OKLAHOMA CITY

Courtesy of POLITICO, we already know that a Democratic strategist has called for Obama to use the Safeway massacre to blame the Tea Party in the same way Bill Clinton used the Oklahoma City bombing to blame talk radio. This task will be monumentally more difficult for the left because of the information available to the public in 2011 compared to what was available in 1995 via the internet. If Oklahoma City Bombing happened today, for example, the odds of John Doe #2 remaining unidentified would be virtually zero.

Case in point comes courtesy of another (or same one perhaps) Democratic strategist in Mark Penn who literally called for an Oklahoma City bombing kind of "event" to help Obama re-connect with the American people. Here is Penn from November of 2010.

More on the POLITICO piece HERE.

DEMOCRAT OPERATIVE SAYS OBAMA SHOULD DO WHAT CLINTON DID WITH OK CITY BOMBING

It is truly and disturbingly amazing to watch the left wing twist itself into knots in order to find ways to pin the Safeway massacre on the Tea Party. They would actually do well to just shut up but they can't help themselves. In the days after the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995 Bill Clinton resurrected his presidency by painting Timothy McVeigh as a right wing extremist spurned on by talk radio in general and Rush Limbaugh in particular. The facts didn't support the allegation but the left appears to be applying the same tactics in this massacre.

Via POLITICO:
One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully but forcefully do what his predecessor did.

“They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”

Another Democratic strategist said the similarity is that Tucson and Oklahoma City both “take place in a climate of bitter and virulent rhetoric against the government and Democrats.”

This Democrat said that the time had come to insist that Republicans stand up when, for example, a figure such as Fox News commentator Glenn Beck says something incendiary.
POLITICO doesn't deserve all that much credit for the report; that should have been the headline.

Imagine if we had a fully mature internet at the time of the OKC Bombing. The American public would have learned that McVeigh was an agnostic who viewed "Science" as his "religion." The false narrative that he was a Christian never would have developed.

The Safeway massacre shooter, like McVeigh was, is obviously an atheist based on his YouTube rants.

DEMOCRAT POLLSTER: OBAMA NEEDS AN OKLAHOMA CITY 'KIND OF EVENT'

This is beyond sick. Democratic pollster Mark Penn, while on Hardball with Chris Matthews, actually implied that an event like the Oklahoma City bombing is what Obama needs to re-connect with the American people. His pathetic argument is that Bill Clinton seemed to be disconnected from Americans until that event. After his post-bombing speech, Penn says Clinton reconnected. So all we need is a successful terror attack, Mr. Penn?

The hubris of these people when it comes to getting what they want knows no bounds. Have a look at where 'ends justify the means' mentality takes you. Unless I'm misreading this guy, he's advocating the deaths of human beings if it bolsters the president's poll numbers. After all, Obama told Bob Woodward that American can 'absorb' an attack.

1995 OKC BOMBING TAPES EDITED?

Count me as being in the camp of those who believe there was a Middle Eastern connection to the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. Oh, that reminds me. Has anyone seen John Doe #2 lately? You have the extremely thorough and unrefuted evidence of Jayna Davis along with Bill Clinton's words shortly after the bombing as relayed by Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating in which Clinton expressed a strong wish that the bombing not have a Middle Eastern connection.

Notice how closely Timothy McVeigh resembles John Doe #1 and how Terry Nichols looks NOTHING like John Doe #2. Today, we have a story on NEWSMAX about an attorney who requested video tapes under the Freedom of Information Act.
Long-secret security tapes showing the chaos immediately after the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building are blank in the minutes before the blast and appear to have been edited, an attorney who obtained the recordings said Sunday.

However, there's a small problem. Apparently all of the cameras ran out of tape moments before the bombing and came back on line moments after the bombing. Talk about bad luck!

"The real story is what's missing," said Jesse Trentadue, a Salt Lake City attorney who obtained the recordings through the federal Freedom of Information Act as part of an unofficial inquiry he is conducting into the April 19, 1995, bombing that killed 168 people and injured hundreds more.
Even the strongest skeptic has got to be scratching his head on this one:
"Four cameras in four different locations going blank at basically the same time on the morning of April 19, 1995. There ain't no such thing as a coincidence," Trentadue said.

He said government officials claim the security cameras did not record the minutes before the bombing because "they had run out of tape" or "the tape was being replaced."

"The interesting thing is they spring back on after 9:02," he said. "The absence of footage from these crucial time intervals is evidence that there is something there that the FBI doesn't want anybody to see."
Four video cameras all go blank at the same time, which just happens to be moments before an explosion that killed 168 people?

My belief is that there is little doubt that JAYNA DAVIS is right, folks.
