Video: Paul Krugman and his audience eerily similar to Jim Jones and HIS audience

This is just plain creepy. It's definitely a softer version of what Jim Jones got the more than 900 people who followed him to commit suicide but it's very similar in two respects. The leader - in this case Krugman - espouses "death panels and higher taxes". The reaction he got was one of laughing approval. Who in their right mind cheers for death and taxes?

No one, which is more than enough evidence that these people are not in their right minds.

It's extremely bizarre to see and hear people cheer or laugh at something that will lead to either their own premature deaths or the premature deaths of their loved ones. It's a macabre form of groupthink and it's exactly what happened when New York Times liberal columnist Paul Krugman told an audience at an historic Synagogue in Washington, D.C. last week exactly that.

Here is video of Rep. Leo Ryan (D) in Jonestown the night before more than 900 followers of Jim Jones ended their lives. Note how loudly the crowd cheers when Ryan states people in the cult think it's the "best thing that ever happened to them in their whole life".

One day later, Ryan was shot dead by Jones' thugs and all of the people who cheered, took their own lives. Is that something to cheer about?



Think it's a stretch? Do you remember the reaction Robert Reich got when, in 2007, he advocated death panels and higher health care costs while speaking at Berkeley?  In fact, the laughter Reich elicited was even more pronounced than what Krugman got. The students cheered the premature deaths of their parents as well as a future in which they would live fewer years as well.



Three weeks before Rep. Ryan showed up in Guyana in 1978, the people held a vote - led by Jones - in which they unanimously voted to commit suicide. How is what Krugman and Reich have advocated any different?

Oh, and another similarity... Jones ingratiated himself with Democrats.

Perhaps one of the reasons George Will so completely and utterly punks Robert Reich is because Reich's true beliefs were revealed back in October, 2009. Yes, the liberal media has been caught lying when it comes to labeling Democrat nut jobs as "right wing extremists" but Robert Reich was caught lying about why he supports government-run health care quite some time ago.


Here's the transcript from the portion of the exchange in which Will punks Reich, likely made easier by the fact that the latter is lying about his intentions, which makes it more difficult to defend his position:

ROBERT REICH, AMERICAN PROSPECT: The health insurers are not, George, you said they're popular and everybody likes their health insurer. They like their doctor. They hate their health insurer. And health insurance is going up in terms of rates 20, 30, 40, 50 percent in many states. In fact, Goldman Sachs just this past week has said to its many of its investors, "Invest in some insurance companies because they don't have competition, and they have, are exhibiting huge profits." That is money directly out of the pockets of Americans.

GEORGE WILL, ABC: A, you say they have huge profits. As you know, confiscate all the profits of all the health insurance companies, with those profits you could finance our healthcare for 48 hours. What you do for the next 363 days I don't know. Second, you say there's not enough competition? Fine, let them compete in a national market across state lines.

REICH: Yes, let them compete across state lines, fine. But not a race to the bottom. Set minimum federal standards because we've seen over and over again that the recipients of health insurance don't know what they are buying very often. Until there are common standards, minimal standards, then people are going to be taken. And that is what's happened over and over again.

WILL: There you have the premise of this legislation and the core of today's liberalism: the American people are such dopes they can't be counted upon to buy their own insurance.

I still haven't seem him have to answer for this despicable speech to Berkeley students on Sept. 26th, 2007. This proves beyond all doubt that Reich is advocating Obamacare through deception.

Reich in 2007, telling an audience of young liberal Berkely students what a candidate running for president WOULD say if he could be honest about his / her intentions when it comes to government-run health care. Take note of what the young, intellectually "superior" Berkeley college students cheer for. They cheer for the death of their parents, paying more for health care, and actually dying earlier themselves as a result of government-run health care.



Robert Reich is a LIAR.

VIDEO: ANOTHER DEMOCRAT CAUGHT LYING ABOUT HEALTH CARE

I really do not understand why the Republican leadership (listen up Michael Steele) hasn't been absolutely hammering on this! The number of Democrats literally caught lying about their intentions when it comes to the public option is astounding. It's not even up for debate that's what they're doing either.

The latest lying scoundrel caught on tape is none other than Robert Reich, of Clinton administration fame. First up is Reich on Sept. 26, 2007 in front of a group at Berkeley. Video #2 is from last month. If I had to bet which one of the two videos posted below showed Reich at his most candid, it would be the first one. The second one is obviously his attempt to assuage anxieties of people who believe the Democrats want to do with health care what Reich is advocating in the first video.

Sounds like Mr. Reich is advocating death panels there, isn't he? Considering he's getting up there in years, I bet he's filed for an exemption if he has that attitude.

Now check out the more comforting Robert Reich who's there to assure you that the public option is nothing to fear. It is your friend as long as you don't watch Video #1.
