VIDEO: VAN JONES ADMITS TO 'PRETENDING'

Anyone who thinks Van Jones was relegated to insignificance when he resigned from the Obama administration as the Green Jobs czar in September of 2009 is sadly mistaken. As a fellow with the Center for American Progress (CAP), he's speaking for the Soros-funded organization that is driving White House policy. Here he is on November 4th bemoaning the failure of Cap and Trade last year. Not only that but he's encouraging his audience to go to the EPA and admit that putting a cap on carbon emissions is a game of make believe but to enforce it anyway.

We are witnessing an administration - with the help of CAP - that is bound and determined to ignore the 112th Congress by using agencies that report to the Executive Branch (EPA, FCC, etc.) to do its will. Van Jones has been saying quite a bit lately and that should be ringing alarm bells.

I don't know what's more absurd here, these pathetic allegories on the part of a guy who was forced out of the Obama administration once it became too politically damaging for the administration to keep him, or the brainwashed lemmings in the audience who think he's so brilliant. Remember, Van Jones is still with John Podesta's Center for American Progress (CAP) which basically writes White House policy.

Here he is, Obama's former Green Jobs czar talking at UC Berkeley Law School on October 14, 2010 - less than three weeks before the election. He concedes that Cap and Trade will not get foisted onto the American people via the legislative process but then calls for the EPA to simply implement it.

Obama is not going to moderate after this election, regardless of the results.

Never waste a good crisis. Rahm Emanuel, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton have all said it. Joining their ranks is MSNBC partisan hack Chuck Todd who, while talking with former sitting Senator whack job Tom Daschle, suggested that if Cap & Tax is not passed as a result of the oil disaster in the Gulf, a crisis will be allowed to go to waste. Todd actually catches himself but says the words anyway. Daschle also catches himself after almost saying, "exactly" but thinks better of it.

What is it with the left not being able to comfortably say what they really mean?

The good news is they're exposing themselves ever more rapidly.

OUTRAGE: LINDSEY GRAHAM STILL WANTS CAP & TRADE

It should be pretty obvious that Lindsey Graham isn't running for re-election until 2014. Even he wouldn't be this dumb if his seat came open this year. There's no way he'd win the primary. Having said that, this RINO is willfully pushing an agenda he KNOWS his constituents don't want.

Even after Climategate - the climate change fraud is being exposed for what it is almost daily and at breakneck speed - and the Osama bin Laden tape, which shows that Lindsey's stance on Cap & Trade mirrors that of America's public enemy #1. Lindsey's reason for wanting to push America closer to brink?

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said today that skeptical Republicans and Democrats should throw their support behind climate change legislation not only because it's good for the economy and the environment, but because Congress desperately needs a win under its belt.

"We tried immigration. It's hard. And we failed. We tried Social Security. It's hard. And we failed. We tried health care. It's really hard. And it looks like we're going to have to start over again," Graham somberly told a luncheon audience of energy and climate advocates on the Hill. "On the energy, climate change front, I don't want to add that to the list. There is no reason in my mind that the Republican Party and the Democratic Party can't come together."

Let's illustrate that logic using a football metaphor (it is Super Bowl time). That would be like Team A getting shut out by Team B and because it so desperately wants to put points on the board, Team A intentionally fumbles in its own end zone and stands back to allow Team B to fall on the ball.

Oh, and not only is Lindsey on the same page with Osama in this area, he's also aligning with John Kerry and Climate czar, Carol Browner. Not only that but Graham and John McCain are practically two peas in a pod when it comes to what legislation they're for. If Graham believes this, odds are good that McCain does too, but he won't say it. Why?

Because McCain IS up for re-election this year and he's going to wait until at least after the primary. In fact, if it weren't for the formidable challenger, J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona primary, McCain might even be willing to outwardly express support for Graham right now. My guess is he won't come close to this issue until / if Hayworth is in his rearview mirror. If Hayworth is smart, he will use Cap & Trade - including this recent news about Graham - against McCain between now and the primary vote. Have I mentioned that Sarah Palin is stumping for McCain against conservative Republican J.D. Hayworth?

Shame on Sarah - BIG TIME.

It's pretty safe to say if you want to know what either McCain or Graham is thinking, look at what the other one is DOING. It's quite possible that the political winds will have shifted so significantly by 2014 that Graham may not have to worry. McCain, on the other hand, should be VERY worried this year.

Sarah Palin sounds like Dagny Taggart

In 'Atlas Shrugged', Dagny Taggart ran a railroad and corrupt powers prevented her from running her business. With Sarah Palin, oil and gas pipelines are facing similar opposition. In a column by Sarah Palin that appears in the Washington Post today, she says the following:

Our 3,000-mile natural gas pipeline will transport hundreds of trillions of cubic feet of our clean natural gas to hungry markets across America. We can safely drill for U.S. oil offshore and in a tiny, 2,000-acre corner of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge if ever given the go-ahead by Washington bureaucrats.

On July 3rd, I wrote that Palin's decision to resign made sense if her motivation involved going on offense.

As Governor and former VP Candidate, the abuse she's endured has been malicious, cruel, unjustified, and the kind I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy (not the least of which involved a despicable left wing blogger distorting the face of Palin's Down Syndrome son, Trig). And guess what? The attacks were effective because they put Palin on the defensive in almost every instance.

Not anymore. In her editorial, she slams Obama's policies. More importantly, her words are going to force the Obama Pawns to respond, which means they will have to switch from offense to defense, if only for a little while.

With justified attacks on the Obama economy, Cap and Trade, and unemployment, Palin delivers some VERY STRONG body blows.

In 'Atlas Shrugged', Dagny refused to be denied when it came to building a bridge to Wyatt Oil. Palin is showing a similar tendency by insisting that Alaskan oil be made available to the lower 48.
