Michael Bloomberg: Traitor in a war U.S. Refuses to Identify

New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg has decided to wage jihad on sodas, snacks, cigarettes, gun rights and other freedoms of American citizens. Conversely, he supported the Ground Zero mosque on Constitutional grounds, welcomed Siraj Wahhaj - an imam linked to the 1993 WTC bombing - to City Hall, and suggested that the Times Square bomber was likely a Tea Partier upset with Obamacare.

Here is Bloomberg on Meet the Press yesterday, talking about taking away your freedoms (implicit in this dhimmi diatribe is an UNwillingness to impinge on the freedoms of Jihadists).

The entire 1957 Dwight Eisenhower speech at Dedication of Washington, D.C. mosque

This is a bit of a continuation from a previous post about the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C. that included then Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower dedicating the mosque on June 28, 1957. A re-dedication ceremony in 2007 included a speech by Republican President George W. Bush.

With a h/t to Creeping Sharia, the transcript of Eisenhower's entire speech is below, though the original link no longer works.

This link, via Wayback Machine does work:
Remarks at Ceremonies Opening the Islamic Center
June 28, 1957

Mr. Ambassador, Dr. Bisar, Governors of the Islamic Center, and distinguished guests:

It is a privilege to take part in this ceremony of dedication.

Meeting with you now, in front of one of the newest and most beautiful buildings in Washington, it is fitting that we re-dedicate ourselves to the peaceful progress of all men under one God.

And I should like to assure you, my Islamic friends, that under the American Constitution, under American tradition, and in American hearts, this Center, this place of worship, is just as welcome as could be a similar edifice of any other religion. Indeed, America would fight with her whole strength for your right to have here your own church and worship according to your own conscience.

This concept is indeed a part of America, and without that concept we would be something else than what we are.

The countries which have sponsored and built this Islamic Center have for centuries contributed to the building of civilization. With their traditions of learning and rich culture, the countries of Islam have added much to the advancement of mankind. Inspired by a sense of brotherhood, common to our inner most beliefs, we can here together reaffirm our determination to secure the foundation of a just and lasting peace.

Our country has long enjoyed a strong bond of friendship with the Islamic nations and, like all healthy relationships, this relationship must be mutually beneficial.

Civilization owes to the Islamic world some of its most important tools and achievements. From fundamental discoveries in medicine to the highest planes of astronomy, the Muslim genius has added much to the culture of all peoples. That genius has been a wellspring of science, commerce and the arts, and has provided for all of us many lessons in courage and in hospitality.

This fruitful relationship between peoples, going far back into history, becomes more important each year. Today, thousands of Americans, both private individuals and governmental officials, live and work-and grow in understanding-among the peoples of Islam.

At the same time, in our country, many from the Muslim lands-students, businessmen and representatives of states-are enjoying the benefits of experience among the people of this country. From these many personal contacts, here and abroad, I firmly believe that there will be a broader understanding and a deeper respect for the worth of all men; and a stronger resolution to work together for the good of mankind.

As I stand beneath these graceful arches, surrounded on every side by friends from far and near, I am convinced that our common goals are both right and promising. Faithful to the demands of justice and of brotherhood, each working according to the lights of his own conscience, our world must advance along the paths of peace.

Guided by this hope, I consider it a great personal and official honor to open the Islamic Center, and I offer my congratulations to its sponsors and my best wishes to all who enter into its use.

Thank you very much.
When it comes to where we are as a nation today, Democrats are bad but Republicans are not blameless... by any means.

Is World War II still being fought?

Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack

In 2007, President George W. Bush spoke at the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C. and was introduced by the mosque's director; the latter had a history that included time spent as a representative of an organization that has enabled Al-Qaeda. This was also the same mosque at which Bush spoke six days after 9/11/01 with Nihad Awad - Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) - at his side.

Before delving into the history of the Islamic Center of Washington of Washington, DC, consider the Ground Zero mosque for a moment. It was named 'Cordoba House' and the name was changed as opposition to the mosque grew and people began to learn more about the symbolic significance of the initial word choice, which was a city in Spain.

Via Raymond Ibrahim at MEF:
...the Christian city was conquered by Muslims around 711, its inhabitants slaughtered or enslaved. The original mosque of Cordoba—the namesake of the Ground Zero mosque—was built atop, and partly from the materials of, a Christian church. Modern day Muslims are well aware of all this. Such is the true—and ominous—legacy of Cordoba.
More pointedly, throughout Islam's history, whenever a region was conquered, one of the first signs of consolidation was/is the erection of a mosque atop the sacred sites of the vanquished: the pagan Ka'ba temple in Arabia was converted into Islam's holiest site, the mosque of Mecca; the al-Aqsa mosque, Islam's third holiest site, was built atop Solomon's temple in Jerusalem; the Umayyad mosque was built atop the Church of St. John the Baptist; and the Hagia Sophia was converted into a mosque upon the conquest of Constantinople.
With that as a premise, shouldn't Americans take a second look at the motivation behind the Islamic Center of Washington, DC? If Islamic fundamentalists were to follow the formula of their forefathers and wanted to construct a symbol of future conquest, wouldn't they seek to do so at the heart of the Capital of the country that won the war?

Check out this excerpt from the history page of the mosque's website:
The Foundation’s membership quickly grew to include representatives from every Islamic nation in the world and American citizens. They all supported the Foundation’s appeal for funds. They managed to raise enough money that enabled them to purchase the land that the Center sits on now on Washington’s “Embassy Row”. They purchased the land on April 30, 1946, and laid the cornerstone on January 11, 1949.
Take note of those two dates in bold. Generally, when people think of the defeated axis of enemies in World War II, Japan, Italy, and Nazi Germany come to mind but the Nazis had an ally that was never defeated. In fact, that ally never stopped fighting; that ally was the Muslim Brotherhood. Again, if one accepts the notion that symbolism in Islam is very important, consider the date the land was purchased. Adolf Hitler's death occurred one year earlier, on April 30, 1945. Via History Learning Site:
None of the bunker’s survivors heard the shot that killed Hitler. At 15.15 on April 30th, Bormann, Goebbels, Heinz Linge, Hitler’s valet, Otto Gunshce and Artur Axmann, Head of the Hitler Youth, entered Hitler’s sitting room. Gunsche and Linge wrapped the body of Hitler in a blanket and carried it to the Reich Chancellery garden.
Coincidence? Possibly. How about January 11, 1949 - the date the cornerstone was laid. That date could be significant.

Tuesday 11 Raby` al-awal 1368 A.H. Laying the cornerstone on Jan 11, 1949 in the Islamic calendar is a day prior to the 12th day of Rabi-al-Awwal, which marks the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad, but keep in mind that Saudi Arabia is 10 hours ahead of the United States. While it was the 11th in the United States, it was very possibly the 12th in Saudi Arabia.

On June 28, 1957, President Dwight Eisenhower was on-hand to dedicate the mosque. Click here or on the image below for the video of a news report of the event at the time.

During his speech, Eisenhower said the following:
The countries which have sponsored and built this Islamic Center have for centuries contributed to the building of civilization. With their traditions of learning and rich culture, the countries of Islam have added much to the advancement of mankind. Inspired by a sense of brotherhood, common to our innermost beliefs, we can here together reaffirm our determination to secure the foundations of a just and lasting peace.
"Brotherhood" is indeed an interesting word choice. Eisenhower ended his speech thusly:
Our country has long enjoyed a strong bond of friendship with the Islamic nations. .  .  . Under the American Constitution, .  .  . this Center, this place of worship, is as welcome as could be any similar edifice of any religion. Indeed, America would fight with her whole strength for your right to have your own church and worship according to your own conscience. Without this, we would be something else than what we are.
Doesn't the "conscience" of the Muslim "Brotherhood" involve destroying America from within? Yes, it does. President George W. Bush returned to the Washington, DC mosque for the RE-dedication ceremony in 2007, fifty years after Eisenhower did it originally. The man who introduced Bush in the clip below is the mosque's director, Abdullah M. Khouj, who began his tenure there in 1984. According to the Weekly Standard's Stephen Schwartz, Saudi officials took over the mosque in 1983 and Khouj was subsequently appointed. Khouj has been a representative for the Muslim World League (MWL):
Khouj represented the Muslim World League (MWL), founded in Saudi Arabia in 1962 as an international agency for the propagation of Wahhabism. In 2006, relief branches of the MWL in Southeast Asia would be designated by the U.S. Treasury as financing fronts for al Qaeda. In addition, Khouj was admitted to the United States as a diplomat, allegedly serving as an attaché at the Saudi Embassy, but actually dedicated to advancing the most radical interpretation of Islam in history.
The MWL is significant for many reasons but one such reason is its involvement as the umbrella organization for the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA). This is the same IMMA where Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin, worked as an assistant editor for at least twelve years until leaving in 2009, to work for Clinton at the State Department. The man responsible for launching the IMMA was none other than Abdullah Omar Naseef, who was the Secretary General of the MWL when Khouj became the Director of the Washington mosque. The Saudi Manifesto, reveals the MWL / IMMA connection:
"It [Muslim Minority Affairs] will work under the umbrella of the Muslim World League (MWL) and the International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO) and World Association of Muslim Youth (WAMY) and others."
Remember, Naseef also founded the Rabita Trust, an entity that was headed by Al-Qaeda founder Wael Hamza Julaidan and identified by the U.S. Treasury Department in October of 2001 as a terrorist organization. If Naseef was commissioned by the Saudi Royal family to found the IMMA, it would seem to indicate a willingness on the part of the Brotherhood and the Saudis to work together in some respects, the furthering of Islam in foreign lands, for example.

That's what the IMMA is all about.

It's important to remember that Khouj - the man who introduced Bush at the Washington, D.C. mosque re-dedication ceremony - was a representative of the MWL at the time of his being named director, according to Schwartz. The Rabita Trust was founded in 1988 by Naseef, four years after Khouj became the Director of the mosque.

Before watching the video of Bush's 2007 speech inside the mosque, consider that less than six years earlier, the Rabita Trust had been shut down by the Bush administration as a "Global Terrorist Entity". As a representative of the MWL, Khouj ultimately worked for an organization whose Secretary General from 1983-1993 was none other than Al-Qaeda financier, Abdullah Omar Naseef.

Note at the 1:15 mark in the video below that Bush references Eisenhower's speech from 1957 and quotes the former president. Said Bush:
"He (Eisenhower) asked that together we commit ourselves 'to peaceful progress of all men under one God.'"
This had not been the first time that Bush had conflated Islam and Christianity. William Murray, of the Religious Freedom Coalition chronicled his experiences in the days after 9/11 and wrote the following about what he witnessed on 9/14/01 at the National Cathedral, where then head of the Muslim Brotherhood's Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) - Muzammil Siddiqi - was in attendance:
Our Christian President had bowed his head to prayers offered to other gods, prayers that may have been for those who would destroy our nation and enslave our children to an alien religion. At that moment the hand of protection of the true God was removed from our nation.
Here is Bush at the 2007 re-dedication ceremony inside the Islamic Center of Washington, D.C.

According to Schwartz, the mosque was built at the urging of various Muslim groups, to include the Turks. In 1998, before becoming Prime Minister of Turkey - Recep Tayyip Erdoğan - quoted from the following poem during a speech:
"The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers..."
Go figure. Today, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamist government of Turkey seem to be working together.

And World War II may have a new front.

Does Jeb Bush CAIR too much to be President?

With all of this talk about Jeb Bush running for president in 2016, his record of appeasement when it comes to Islamists in his state when he was Governor of Florida warrants closer inspection. That Presidential election year will mark the tenth anniversary of the forced resignation of O'Neal Dozier, a conservative Pastor whom Bush had put on the Judicial Nominating Committee in 2001.

In 2006, Dozier was fighting the construction of a mosque in the same neighborhood where his church stood. During a radio interview on the Steve Kane show, he made comments that were critical of Islam. Word got back to Bush, whose office then demanded Dozier's resignation. The larger issue not addressed by the Florida Governor was the validity of Dozier's concerns relative to who was behind construction of the mosque.

The following is an excerpt from Unsung Davids, which features a chapter on Dozier's battle with the Republican Party in general and Jeb Bush in particular:
The reason for Dozier's appearance on the (radio) show was to talk about the attempts of the Islamic Center of South Florida (ICOSF) to build a mosque near his church. As recently as 2009, ICOSF was listed as being owned by the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), which was identified in a 1991 Muslim Brotherhood document as being a member group... NAIT, along with the CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) and ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) was named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the largest terrorism financing trial in American history.
There was no investigation against NAIT. As Governor, Jeb Bush had the authority to recommend one. Instead, Dozier was forced to resign and the red flags raised by the mosque at the root of his concerns were ignored. Bush's action against Dozier, coupled with his inaction against groups with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood in America put him on the very wrong side of a very real struggle in the United States.

Just one year prior to Dozier being forced to resign, Bush was invited to CAIR's annual banquet in Orlando, at which attendees were to be encouraged to contribute to the creation of a CAIR office in Orlando. Though Bush didn't attend, his office sent a letter to CAIR, which he signed, that said in part:
"It is a great pleasure to extend greetings and best wishes to all attending the Florida Chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-FL) annual banquet... I commend your contributions to the protection of civil rights and freedom of religion... Once again, congratulations on your accomplishments and my warmest greetings and best wishes on your continuing success."
CAIR has had great success since receipt of that letter and much of that success has come as a direct result of people like Jeb Bush pandering to them.

Dozier's battle against a mosque in 2006 foreshadowed a similar battle over the Ground Zero mosque in New York City in 2010. The resulting backlash further validated Dozier's concerns and should give people pause when considering Jeb Bush's future as a presidential nominee.

NYC Mayor declares war on Sodas, runs interference for Jihadists

Just to get this straight. When stealth Jihadist Feisal Abdul Rauf wanted to construct a mosque two blocks from 9/11's ground zero, Michael Bloomberg vehemently defended Rauf's right to do so by citing the separation of church and state, despite the fact that the goal of Jihadists like Rauf is to establish a rule of law that disregards the U.S. Constitution in its entirety.

Now, Mayor doofus has declared a war on sodas that are too big and says he is 'simply forcing you to understand' when asked to defend his position.

A more blatant example of the psychological defense mechanism known as displacement one will not find:
Displacement involves taking out our frustrations, feelings and impulses on people or objects that are less threatening. Displaced aggression is a common example of this defense mechanism. Rather than express our anger in ways that could lead to negative consequences (like arguing with our boss), we instead express our anger towards a person or object that poses no threat (such as our spouse, children or pets).
Or like movie theater owners who sell 32 oz. sodas in one cup.

Can it be any more obvious that Michael Bloomberg is nothing more than a bully and a coward who is taking out his inability to confront real threats by going after those who aren't threatening to him at all?

Bloomberg is doing the equivalent of kicking his innocent dog.

Entities that sell 32 oz. sodas represent the dog.

Via MSNBC:

Here is Bloomberg from two years ago, talking about respecting the separation of church and state as a reason why the ground zero mosque should be built. Conspicuously absent from Mayor dhimmi is an acknowledgment that Islam seeks no such separation, as long as sharia law is involved.

Hannity stakes his (weak) public position on Islam

There are several reasons why high profile individuals do not speak the truth about something. It can be tactical or it can be for career preservation. Wikileaks all but proved it is rarely out of ignorance. Enter Sean Hannity. He has publicly stated his position that Islam is not the problem. Instead, it is "RADICAL" Islam.

Logan's Warning at Right Side News got into a twitter battle with the talk show host and made this patently apparent. Interestingly, it was Hannity who ultimately blocked LW because he apparently wasn't prepared to logically defend his position after LW quoted very specific verses.
Hannity ducked the verses, told me there are “different interpretations” and threatened to block me on Twitter.

I told him that is leftist talk, and asked him to show me just ONE version that does not call for the dominance over non-Muslims. Of course he did not respond.

He definitely did not like being challenged. But I was not going to bow to him because he is on TV. The truth is more important! The argument ended with Hannity ignoring all the facts I had sent him, and him stamping his feet as he stated he will NOT say Islam itself is the problem.

Then he blocked me.
Yes, Logan's Warning doesn't have the public profile that Hannity does so it's definitely more difficult for Hannity to take such a position. It was also difficult for Winston Churchill to take the position he did against the Nazis; he took it anyway - at great expense - until the time was right. Just because doing the right thing may be more difficult for Hannity than it is for LW doesn't make it any less right. Churchill stated very uncomfortable realities from a much higher public position than that held by Hannity.

We're rapidly approaching the point where everyone will have to choose sides. If you're not on the side of Islam, you will have to be on the side of Neville Chamberlain or Winston Churchill. Hannity has historically been very critical of Chamberlain. Considering his stance on Islam, Hannity may need to stop doing that if he is to avoid justified charges of hypocrisy.

Here is Hannity's recent interview with Feisal Abdul Rauf, who is promoting a book. If Hannity had Rauf on his show to expose the imam's true intentions, it would have been a good move. Instead, the talk show host only helped the radically deceptive imam sell more books while pushing his deceptive agenda.

Hannity has unfortunately staked his very Chamberlain-esque position.

It's really kinda sad. It's also tragically ironic because Hannity has said countless times that journalism died in 2008.

Video: Looks like we've found another Dhimmi Mayor

There is simply no way I can any longer accept that political leaders are ignorant of the intentions of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) specifically or the larger Muslim Brotherhood in general. We have long since reached the point where it's safe to say that such leaders are either corrupt or cowardly. The ignorant card has long been maxed out.

Even if the mayor of Brookfield, WI - Steven Ponto - is just ignorant, he's nefarious BECAUSE he's ignorant. In essence, he's defending the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and is betraying his oath for some reason other than honor.

CAIR Executive Director Attempts to Defend TLC's All American Muslim

It looks like CAIR Chicago Executive Director, Ahmed Rehab, has decided to take the argument put forward by Comedy Central's Jon Stewart and use it in his case against anyone who objects to Lowe's decision to pull its advertising from The Learning Channel's "All American Muslim" program. The problem with it is that it is based on a completely false premise. Here is how Rehab's article in the Huffington Post starts:
Imagine if a major American advertiser were to pull its ads off of Jersey Shore because they received objections that the show while portraying a group of Italian-Americans, made the glaring error of excluding Mafiosi.
Imagine if the absence of characters "whacking knee caps" and "making offers you cannot refuse" was deemed as an "omission" and therefore pro-Italian propaganda, and as a result too controversial to sponsor.
Pathetic?
Incredulous?
Well imagine no more. Such is the pitiful state that Islamophobia has reached in this country, and it's very real.
Ok, so Rehab is saying that those who agree with Lowe's are upset because the show didn't play to the alleged stereotypes that exist about Muslims and that because the program portrays a normal, regular Muslim family, those same people are upset.

Not quite, Ahmed. What Rehab does not tell you is that All American Muslim DOES feature a very radical imam named Husham Al-Husayni, who marries Muslim couples in the program. Al-Husayni heads the Karbala Center mosque in Dearborn, MI and has expressed support for Hezbollah.

This post isn't about making that case; it's already been made HERE.

Rehab continues:
Lowe's is putting forth a very dangerous argument: that the far right bigots and the mainstream Muslim voices with their pro-tolerance allies of all faiths are equal opposites; that those who wish to humanize a faith community that comprises 25 percent of humanity and those who wish to demonize them are equal opposites; that the forces of bigotry and the forces of anti-bigotry are equal opposites. The pervasive assumption that there is a moral equivalency between the two sparring sides is a major factor in the rise of Islamophobia in the US. But Lowe's goes further than to claim moral equivalency. It actually takes sides, the wrong side: the side of the bigots.

The running complaint used to be that Muslims are always portrayed as terrorists. But now, the message being sent is that "not portraying American Muslims as terrorists" is sufficient for complaint and controversy. It's moving the goal posts to a dangerous new "lowe."
Ok, so those who support Lowe's decision are bigots. That's his argument? Isn't anti-Semitism a form of bigotry?

Al-Husayni supports Hezbollah and refused to denounce the world's most dangerous anti-Semite, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad when given the chance.

Using Rehab's logic, Lowe's is catering to bigots when it pulls its advertising from "All American Muslim." In reality, it would be catering to anti-Semitic, terrorist sympathizers if it continued to sponsor the program.

TLC's All American Muslim Terrorist Problem

This story continues to unfold. The Learning Channel's program, 'All American Muslim' is supposed to be an accurate portrayal of Muslims in America. An Imam named Husham Alhusayni, who appears prominently in the television show, is a pro-Hezbollah, terrorist-supporting, anti-Semite who has no business being portrayed as a moderate.
All American Muslim's Shockingly Un-American Imam
Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack
Lowe's Home Improvement has found itself at the center of controversy for pulling its advertising from a program called All American Muslim that airs on The Learning Channel (TLC). There is now iron clad proof that if Lowe's had continued its sponsorship, a terrorist-supporting imam would be given a platform with the help of those dollars.
Husham Alhusayni is not just the imam of the Karbala Center in Dearborn, MI. He is also featured in All American Muslim. In the program, Alhusayni presides over marriages within Muslim families.
Alhusayni is a signatory to the Jerusalem Document of 2009. This document refers to the war on Zionism as a war between “good and evil.” Zionism is considered an “aggression” which is infecting “the entire human race.” Muslims are told to “get ready for the holy Jihad” and “continue in the path of Hezbollah,” which is “essential for the Iraqi community living in the Diaspora.”
The document also refers to the “Israeli rape of Jerusalem that was pre-planned by the cursed Basel Conference in 1897.” The Conference took place in Basel, Switzerland and is recognized as the place where the Zionist platform and the World Zionist Organization were created.
The Jerusalem Document goes on to encourage Muslims everywhere to support and align with the goals of Hezbollah in Lebanon. The goals of this organization includes the extermination of Israel.
When speaking to Arabic audiences, the unvarnished Alhusayni is revealed.
In a very telling moment, a YouTube video (9:24 mark) captures Alhusayni talking about “criminals” while appearing to make the point that evil exists in “every nationality” and then speaks broadly about the Jews:
“In America, there is Timothy McVeigh... he's evil. Jeffrey Dahmer... he cut the heads off of children and put it in the refrigerator... he's a criminal. Saddam, he's a criminal, killing innocent people. So are so many Zionists in Palestine, killing innocent people.”
Note the distinction here. This is a direct comparison between a mass murderer, a serial killer, a vicioius tyrant and a large number of unnamed Jews. This is the essence of racism. After all, doublespeak artists live by double standards.
When the Florida Family Association successfully pressured Lowe's Home Improvement to pull its advertising from All American Muslim, a California state senator and the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) charged that the association was engaging in religious bigotry. These are serious charges that appear to be rooted in projection on the part of the accusers.
In a radio interview with conservative talk show host Sean Hannity in 2007, Alhusayni repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hezbollah, both of which are designated terrorist organizations that seek the extermination of the Jews. Is this not an advocacy for terrorism based on religious bigotry?
On November 10, 2009 Alhusayni hosted a soccer game between Al-Tadamun and Chelsea on “The Day of Jerusalem.” Following the game, Samir Al-Jabiri and Muhammad Alhasayni thanked the imam and said the victory was “dedicated to honor the souls of the martyrs of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa...” according to an article on the Arab American website. The “martyrs” referred to in this case are clearly terrorists who sought the murder of Jews.
Deceptively, the dress code of Muslim women in All American Muslim is not an accurate portrayal of what religious Muslim women are required to wear. The Muslim women of Husham Alhusayni's mosque must wear a true Hijab, an all black cloak that covers the entire body, save for a small portion of the face – a far cry from the decorative attire that appears on the television show. Photos taken inside the Karbala Center as westerners are being converted clearly demonstrate this.

Alhusayni's role in the television show, coupled with how he runs his mosque, is blatantly inconsistent. Which is the true portrayal of American Muslims? Shouldn't viewers be exposed to that actual portrayal, regardless of what it might be?
For example, an annual occurrence inside Dearborn's Karbala Center is self-flagellation or repetitive whipping of oneself; it can be seen in the videos below. This self-inflicted abuse is done to memorialize the killing of the Prophet Muhammad's grandson, Imam Hussein by the Sunni Muslims. Shouldn't these experiences, if part of the American Muslim experience be included in a program intended to convey that experience?
Why isn't this shown on All American Muslim? After all, the leader of this mosque is featured on the program.
As Nadia Mahdeed from AlSharq Al-Awsat (Middle East News) entered the Karbala Center to interview Alhusayni, she was struck by how many people approached her for not adhering to the dress code:
“I was not wearing a black sheet that women who came to prayer are supposed to wear.”
Mahdeed then relayed what she was told by worshippers:
“The people who came to pray all told me that they have no trust in America. I am amazed since they all enjoyed living in it.”
When she interviewed Alhusayni, she said to him:
“Your followers insisted I mention to you that they hate Saddam Hussein but that they also have no trust in America.”
Alhusayni, a master of political rhetoric, cleverly replied without disagreeing:
“Not many of us trust in the American policy.”
As if underscoring the reality that Alhusayni only wanted to convey a peaceful perception while seeming to support something else entirely, the conflict between the two was not lost on Mahdeed:
“Despite his gracefulness, when I walked out of there, my mind was charged with the slogans of war, not the tranquility of peace that is supposed to exist inside such a place.”
Clearly, TLC's program is intended to portray the Muslim experience as a peaceful one. Yet, a reporter left the mosque of one of the program's featured imams, struck by hateful rhetoric inside what should one of its most peaceful places.
Is this not a disconnect advertisers like Lowe's should reject?
More HERE and HERE.

This should be a very big deal.

Videos: Muslims Occupy Wall Street, Pray the Jummah

CAIR New York encouraged Muslims to join in the Occupy Wall Street protests on Friday, October 21st to pray the Jummah (Friday prayers). Well, it happened and a sermon on 'Social Justice in Islam' was given by an Imam named Aiyub Abdul Baki, who was an outspoken supporter of the Ground Zero mosque last year. On one level, no one should really be surprised that CAIR and the gang has decided to link up with far left protesters but on another level, I am a bit surprised about how overt they are here. OWS has already been endorsed strongly by the American Nazi Party and the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).

In addition to CAIR's presence in New York, one of the organization's attorneys - Shayan Elahi - who represented Rifq Bary's parents when the seventeen-year-old girl fled from them for fear of being a victim of an honor killing because of her conversion to Christianity, led the Occupy Orlando protest.

More HERE.

Ground Zero Mosque Islamists Haven't Won Yet

Last month, it was reported that a portion of the notorious Ground Zero mosque was being opened. There were no protesters to stop it, like there was in the summer of 2010. President Barack Obama, Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Mayor Michael Bloomberg all supported construction of the mosque, regardless of the 70% of Americans who were opposed to it. When the mosque rather unceremoniously opened a few weeks ago, it appeared the Islamists won the battle but hang on! Not so fast. Con Ed has heaved a monkey wrench into the equation.

Via New York Post:
Con Ed has given the Ground Zero mosque an ultimatum: Pay the $1.7 million you owe in back rent, or we’ll terminate your lease and take back our property.

Con Ed and mosque developer Park51 have an unusual, uneasy alliance, sharing ownership of a site slated to be one of the most controversial projects in city history.

The utility owns a former substation on the western half of the property, at 51 Park Place, and the mosque developers own a five-story building on the eastern half. The buildings were connected years ago and used to house a Burlington Coat Factory store.

Park51, which leases the substation from Con Ed, wants the two buildings so it can knock both down and build a $100 million, 15-story community center.

But the plan hit a major obstacle in August when Con Ed raised the rent from $2,750 a month, a rate set in 1972, to $47,437 a month, retroactive to July 31, 2008, The Post has learned.
A hearing has been set for November 17th.

Here are a few things to look for. First, expect Bloomberg to side with the Islamists if it looks like they will lose this battle. Why wouldn't he? The New York mayor has come down against America at every turn. His caving to the Nazi / Communist - backed Occupy Wall Street protesters is the most recent example. The other thing to watch for is the involvement of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Did you know the Ground Zero Mosque is Opening this Week?

In the summer of 2010, Americans who objected to the Ground Zero mosque felt good about what they had accomplished. People showed up in great numbers; the ground zero imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf was exposed and actually resigned his post. Everyone went home thinking it was a major victory. It was a victory but it was one that apparently required a bit more follow-up because the Ground Zero mosque is now set to open two weeks after the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Via Daily Mail:
The first part of Park51, the controversial Lower Manhattan Islamic community centre, is opening on Wednesday with an art exhibition featuring photographs of children.

Just a few blocks away from the site where the Twin Towers once stood, the exhibition marks Park51’s first big public event.

It comprises portraits of children from 169 countries who now live in New York and its opening coincides with the United Nations’ International Day of Peace.

Katerina Lucas, Park51’s chief of staff, said: 'It is a huge step forward. I hope it shows we are about inclusion, not exclusion.'

When plans to build a high-rise Islamic institution were announced last year, critics angrily pointed out that it was insensitive to have the mosque so close to the site attacked by Islamic extremists.
To be fair to citizens who protested, it doesn't help that NYC's mayor, governor, and the US President all support the construction of the mosque, despite the intentions of Rauf being made known through translations of his Arabic into English.

Ground Zero Imam Takes off the Mask, Calls for Sharia Law in the US

Last year, Ground Zero mosque imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf had to do everything possible to portray his proposed mosque as a place for 'interfaith dialogue' and himself as 'moderate.' Ground Zero became the epicenter of controversy when Americans finally stood up and said 'no.' Rauf ultimately stepped down from his post at the head of the Cordoba Initiative, a name that is inherently incendiary. Former Muslim Brotherhood activist Walid Shoebat translated Rauf's Arabic and determined that the imam was not the man he was being portrayed as. Now, as if we needed it, here is more proof straight from Rauf's mouth. He's calling for Sharia Law in the US and the UK.

From the Scotland Herald via Atlas Shrugs:
AMERICA’S most controversial imam – the man at the centre of the storm over plans for the “Ground Zero Mosque” in New York last year – flew into Edinburgh yesterday to tell the Festival of Spirituality and Peace that greater integration between Islam and the West depends on the incorporation of Sharia law into the legal systems of the UK and the United States as well as Muslims adopting the culture of their host countries.

Many see Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf as an Islamic moderate even though he has been vilified in the US press as an apologist for radical Muslims. In an interview with the Sunday Herald, Rauf said he believes the world is in the grip of a “dangerous myth” and “self-fulfilling prophecy” that “Islam and the West are at war. But the real battleground is not between Islam and the West, but between the wise, fair-minded people of all faith traditions and the extremists.”

Although he is a pro-US imam who has argued that America is the embodiment of Islam’s ideal society, Rauf became a hate figure in the US over the so-called Ground Zero Mosque. The plan offended relatives of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, and led to a US pastor proposing a “Burn a Koran day”.
As if that weren't enough, while visiting Scotland, Rauf expressed his support for the decision to release the Lockerbie bomber.

Via the UK's Milngavie Herald:
An American Muslim leader who spearheaded plans for a controversial Islamic community centre near the site of the World Trade Centre has supported the decision to ban a far-right group from marching in Scotland on the eve of 9/11.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, whose proposed Park51 Islamic community centre was dubbed a "megamosque" by critics who objected to its proximity to New York's 'Ground Zero', has given a talk in Scotland's capital.

He was invited to speak at the Festival of Spirituality and Peace by Edinburgh University's Prince Alwaleed Centre for the Study of Islam.

Imam Feisal added that he supported the Scottish Government's decision to release Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, the Libyan Muslim who is the only man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing, but he would have been equally supportive if they had decided to keep him in prison.

He said: "I am not a Scotsman so I don't have the jurisdiction to comment, but if the government of Scotland deem that it is in its best interests to do something then it is up to them, but I would have supported their decision either way."
Shoebat translated and posted Rauf's words in Arabic over one year ago that proved this imam's true intentions. Now, Rauf himself is bolstering Shoebat's credibility.

Is Mayor Bloomberg an Agent for Muslim Brotherhood?

Based on the track record of New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, I am all but convinced that the answer to the title of this post is a resounding yes. In 2009, Bloomberg met with an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 WTC bombing; before the Times Square bomber was caught, he suggested that the would-be bomber was a Tea Partier angry with Obamacare; last year, Bloomberg was among the staunchest of advocates for the Ground Zero mosque.

Now this, from WSJ via Fox Nation:
Religious leaders are calling on Mayor Michael Bloomberg to reverse course and offer clergy a role in the ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

Rudy Washington, a deputy mayor in former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's administration, said he's outraged. Mr. Washington organized an interfaith ceremony at Yankee Stadium shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

"This is America, and to have a memorial service where there's no prayer, this appears to be insanity to me," said Mr. Washington, who has suffered severe medical problems connected to the time he spent at Ground Zero. "I feel like America has lost its way."

City Hall officials, who are coordinating the ceremony, confirmed that spiritual leaders will not participate this year—just as has been the case during past events marking the anniversary. The mayor has said he wants the upcoming event to strike a similar tone as previous ceremonies.

City Council Member Fernando Cabrera, a pastor at New Life Outreach International, a Bronx church, said he is "utterly disappointed" and "shocked" by the event's absence of clergy. When the terrorist attacks occurred, people in the city and nationwide turned to spiritual leaders for guidance, he said.

"This is one of the pillars that carried us through," he said, referring to religious leaders. "They were the spiritual and emotional backbone, and when you have a situation where people are trying to find meaning, where something is bigger than them, when you have a crisis of this level, they often look to the clergy."

Mr. Cabrera described the religious leaders' exclusion as "wiping out the recognition of the importance that spirituality plays on that day."

Rabbi Joseph Potasnik, executive vice president of the New York Board of Rabbis and one of the participants in the September 2001 interfaith ceremony at Yankee Stadium, said it would be difficult to include all faiths in the ceremony.

"I understand the feelings," he said. "[But] I don't know how we make it possible for everyone to have a place at the table."
Contrast Bloomberg's intransigence with regard to allowing clergy to attend the 10-year memorial ceremony for 9/11 with his intransigence relative to 70% of Americans who do not want the Ground Zero mosque built in the shadow of where the twin towers once stood. Bloomberg continues to support the right of the Islamist-connected Cordoba Initiative and imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, to build the Ground Zero mosque.

Bloomberg is a turncoat. The only question that is left to be answered is why?

Herman Cain Apologized to Muslim Brotherhood?

Whether Cain's recent apology to Muslims for his comments regarding Islam and the construction of Mosques was the result of political calculation or political intimidation makes little difference. In doing so, he lost a significant contingent of supporters who stood behind his efforts. He had dropped in the polls and maybe that is why he decided to apologize but that apology is ironically only going to cause him to drop further. Anyone offended by his earlier comments likely will not support him anyway and those who stood by him before will be less likely to do so now.

As if all that wasn't bad enough for Cain, it now appears that the Mosque he attended to issue his apology is led by the president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a Muslim Brotherhood group. As such, Cain apologized for telling the truth.

Via Pajamas Media:
Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has been under fire for saying communities should be able to stop the construction of mosques. So he apologized, following a visit to a mosque led by Imam Mohamed Magid, the president of Muslim Brotherhood branch the Islamic Society of North America.
HERE is Cain's full statement:
I would like to thank Imam Mohamed Magid and the ADAMS Center for extending their hospitality to me this afternoon. We enjoyed heartfelt fellowship and thoughtful dialogue about how patriotic Americans of all faiths can work together to restore the American Dream.

While I stand by my opposition to the interference of shariah law into the American legal system, I remain humble and contrite for any statements I have made that might have caused offense to Muslim Americans and their friends. I am truly sorry for any comments that may have betrayed my commitment to the U.S. Constitution and the freedom of religion guaranteed by it. Muslims, like all Americans, have the right to practice their faith freely and peacefully.

As I expected, we discovered we have much more in common in our values and virtues. In my own life as a black youth growing up in the segregated South, I understand their frustration with stereotypes. Those in attendance, like most Muslim Americans, are peaceful Muslims and patriotic Americans whose good will is often drowned out by the reprehensible actions of jihadists.

I am encouraged by the bonds of friendship forged today at our meeting, and I look forward to continuing this very healthy dialogue. The relationship we established was so positive that the Imam has invited me back to speak to not only some of their youth, but also at one of their worship services.
PJM's Mauro then makes this point:
If Cain opposes Sharia-based governance, then he picked the wrong group to reach out to.

As noted above, Mohamed Magid is also president of the Islamic Society of America (ISNA). The group says it “rejects all acts of terrorism, including those perpetrated by Hamas, Hizbullah and any other group that claims Islam as their inspiration.” However, ISNA was listed as an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the Holy Land Foundation trial. The HLF had been found guilty of being a front for Hamas set up by the Muslim Brotherhood.
Are we to believe that Cain's staff didn't know this about Magid or his mosque? This is disturbing on several levels. For one, the political pressure brought to bear on Cain had to be immense for him to do this. This borders on dhimmitude.

Videos: Jury Denies Florida Pastor First Amendment Rights

Regardless of one's feelings about Florida pastor Terry Jones, this is an extremely dangerous precedent. On April 22nd, Jones was in Dearborn, MI to protest outside a Mosque there. A trial was quickly called - amazing how speedy trials are possible when certain people want them - to determine if he should be allowed to hold the protest. The jury ruled that he could not. Why? Because it might cause locals to riot. Denying one's free speech rights based on what others might do is targeting the wrong individual - and it's very dangerous.

A theme the jury seemed to focus on was that the location Terry Jones chose for his protest was not acceptable. That argument immediately conjures up images of the Ground Zero mosque protests. That was all about location too. Except, those who protested were labeled by the Muslim community as 'intolerant.' There was also no court order that said the Mosque couldn't be built there. In fact, the city cleared the way for its construction. When a small pastor wants to protest outside a Mosque in Michigan, he's the intolerant one? The lack of consistency here is palpable.

If there is any good to come out of this, it should be that some of those involved in paving the way for this ridiculous ruling could conceivably wake up and realize how utterly absurd the ruling is. What happened in Dearborn, MI last week was a victory for the Islamists. Period. It was a victory for creeping Shariah law and proof that Sharia law cannot coexist with the United States Constitution.

Verum Serum has two videos that tell the story. The first is a news report from the local Fox affiliate. The second is an interview with one of the dhimmi jurors.

It's amazing what people will say and believe in order to rationalize cowardice.

Ground Zero Mosque Imam #2 Now Out

Well, he certainly didn't last as long as did his predecessor, Feisal Abdul Rauf, but then again, Shaykh Abdallah Adhami's past words caught up with him much more quickly than did Rauf's. His views on homosexuality were apparently problematic as well. But, of course, neither of those facts are credited in the formal reason given for Adhami's exodus as the Ground Zero mosque Imam. So what was the reason? Well, apparently, Adhami is writing a book about the Qur'an and isn't that adept at multi-tasking.

Via Fox News:
NEW YORK-- A Muslim scholar recently named as the new senior imam at the Islamic center being built near the World Trade Center has parted ways with the project.

Shaykh Abdallah Adhami said Friday in a joint statement with the center's developer that he will no longer serve as a religious adviser to the center.

Adhami says he wants to devote his time to completing a book on the Quran.
Perhaps his book will get done sooner if he's not the Ground Zero mosque Imam but wouldn't he sell more of them if he was?

Not a very good business decision to step down from a position of notoriety and exposure to write a book.

It would appear that New Yorkers are winning the second battle at Cordoba.

New Ground Zero Imam Same as Old Ground Zero Imam

Feisal Abdul Rauf is out as the Ground Zero mosque Imam but his replacement has expressed sentiments that many Americans found so objectionable in Rauf. In fact, Abdallah Adhami seems to be far less savvy than his predecessor. Rauf's tone lent itself to elevator music, which was actually played during one of his radio interviews. Conversely Adhami's nuance doesn't seem to rise to the same floor that Rauf's does.

Last week, it was learned that Adhami believes that Muslims have more of a right to Moses than do Jews or Christians. Now, Aaron Klein at World Net Daily has posted more audio of Adhami. This time, he is heard saying that anyone who converts away from Islam (apostates) and preaches against their former religion should be jailed.

How can this be? Wasn't the Ground Zero mosque supposed to be about interfaith dialogue?

Via WND:
Those who leave Islam and preach against the Muslim religion must be jailed, declared the imam who has become the new face of the proposed Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero in New York City.

"If someone leaves the din, leaves the path privately, they cannot be touched. If someone preaches about apostasy, or preaches their views, they're jailed," stated Imam Abdallah Adhami in a November lecture obtained and reviewed by WND.

Adhami was discussing the Quranic view of apostasy, or Muslims who decide to leave the Islamic religion.
He then went on to express the view that people have the right to leave Islam but not the right to preach against it.
He said, "In Islam, in the Quran, theoretically, if you look over the Quran from cover to cover, you literally have the right to the choice to reject God's message. The only thing you do not have the right to do is to spread this conviction, lest you, quote unquote, pollute others."
This should pose quite the conundrum for Muslims who insist the U.S. Constitution and Shariah law can co-exist. Proponents of the mosque like to assert that they are simply exercising their first amendment rights. This cannot be if they are advocating the ban of others' first amendment rights.

Again, Shariah law is not about the First Amendment. It's about Article VI and specifically the part about the Constitution being the supreme law of the land.

It's still early but Adhami may be more controversial than Rauf. Here's the audio:

New Ground Zero Mosque Imam's Outrageous Claims

It didn't take long for Feisal Abdul Rauf's replacement as Ground Zero Mosque Imam to step in it. Rauf's dismissal was announced on January 14th and now it has been learned that Abdallah Adhami has said that Muslims have more of a right to claim a connection to Moses than do the Jews. I guess we're supposed to forget the fact that Moses was Jewish and led the Jews out of Egyptian lands. In addition to seizing the 'Moses' mantle, Adhami encouraged Muslims to 'compete' with other religions.

Via Aaron Klein at WND:
Muslims have "more of a right" than Jews to the biblical prophet Moses, declared the imam who has become the new face of the proposed Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero in New York City.

Imam Abdallah Adhami also urged Muslims to "compete" with other religions.

"We must be doing it first, we must compete with you to be doing more of that. We want to fast Ashura too, because that's the day God saved Moses; that is certainly a day to be celebrated. We have more right to Moses," stated Adhami in a 2008 lecture obtained and reviewed by WND.

Ashura is an Islamic fast day that commemorates Muslim events, including the Islamic claim that Moses fasted on that day to express gratitude to God for liberating the Israelites from Egypt.

In his lecture, Adhami recounted the Islamic story of the Muslim figure Muhammad arriving in Medina, where he encountered Jews who fasted on Ashura and asked them why they were celebrating the holiday.
The formula used by the opponents of the Ground Zero mosque that ultimately saw Rauf get the boot - sunlight - needs to be applied to Mr. Adhami.

Hear new the Ground Zero Mosque in his own words.

Islamophobes Win: Ground Zero Mosque Imam Dismissed

Ground Zero Mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf was dismissed last Friday. Apparently lost on the mainstream media is the primary reason - public opposition, which led to even more revelations about Rauf's past statements and scandals. As Pamela Geller points out, what the media will not tell you is that this was a victory for the Tea Party and opponents of the Mosque. Rauf, Islamic leaders like him prefer to operate with little being known about them. If you remember, his closet was full of skeletons that wouldn't have come out had it not been for the Islamophobes.

While the New York Times highlighted the friction between Rauf and the Developer, Sharif el-Gamal, they did report that both men were 'surprised' by the amount of public opposition.

Via American Thinker:
There has been a shakeup at the Cordoba Initiative/Park 51, the group behind the projected Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero. The deceitful pro-sharia Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and his wife Daisy Khan are out, and an imam from Washington, D.C., Abdullah Adhami, is in.

What does this mean? First, it means that we won. We are declaring victory. It seems clear that Rauf had to go because he had become a liability to the taqiyya project of the Ground Zero mosque. And that is because of the light we shed on his true beliefs and allegiances. Rauf snagged more than $2 million in public financing to renovate low-income apartments he owns in New Jersey. He took the money and never made the repairs, forcing good people to live with vermin and dilapidation. Slumlord Rauf is also a prominent member of the Perdana organization, a leading funder of the flotilla launched against Israel by the genocidal Islamic terror group, IHH. He has made extreme statements like "the United States has more Muslim blood on its hands than al-Qaeda has on its hands of innocent non-Muslims."
Unfortunately, for the Islamophobes, Rauf's replacement - Abdullah Adhami - doesn't appear to be much better as he, like Rauf, has ties to CAIR as well as possible links to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
