Shocking 1979 column by Valerie Jarrett's Father-in-law; not good for Obama

This post should begin with a cast of characters because it's growing increasingly necessary when talking about the subject of Barack Obama's past. In this case, a man named Frank Miele at the Daily Inter Lake has unearthed an incredible find that could help close some loops, connect some dots, and put some pieces together. That find involves a 1979 column penned by Vernon Jarrett, the father-in-law of Barack Obama's closest advisor, Valerie Jarrett.

THE CAST

• Frank Marshall Davis: Confirmed member of the Communist Party USA and writer. Worked in Chicago until he moved to Hawaii in 1946. Wrote for publication sympathetic to CPUSA known as the Chicago Defender. A heavy influence on Barack Obama's young life for several years.  CPUSA ID Number was 47544.
• Vernon Jarrett: Began working at the Chicago Defender in 1946. Became a colleague of Davis and worked with him on at least one Communist cause in 1948.
• Valerie Jarrett: Daughter in-law of Vernon and thought to be Barack Obama's closest and most trusted adviser. Born in Iran, where she lived until the age of five. Appears to have befriended the Obama family after hiring Michelle before the first lady married Barack.
• Percy Sutton: Former attorney for Malcolm X who revealed during a television interview in 2008 that years earlier, he had been approached by a man named Khalid al-Mansour, a former Black Panther, and asked to use his influence to help get Barack Obama into Harvard. Sutton also divulged that al-Mansour represents one of the richest men in the world. This is believed to have been a reference to Saudi Prince al-Waleed bin Talal.
• Khalid al-Mansour: Formerly a Black Panther who carried the name Donald Warren. Converted to Islam and found a lucrative career advising members of the Saudi Royal family, in particular Prince Alwaleed bin Talal. Videos of al-Mansour on YouTube indicate he is virulently anti-Semitic.
• Prince Alwaleed bin Talal: Very wealthy Saudi Prince who has a strong business mind and extremely familiar with western culture. Second-largest shareholder of Newscorp., the parent company for Fox News. It is believed that his influence is responsible for Fox's overall weak coverage of radical Islamic individuals and groups.

Now, onto Miele's discovery. He writes about the discovery of Vernon Jarrett's 1979 column that appeared in the St. Petersburg Evening Independent. In the column, Jarrett quotes heavily from an interview he did with none other than Khalid al-Mansour. What were they talking about? Well, funneling Saudi money to black college students, of course:

So far as I know, this 1979 column has not previously been brought to light, but it certainly should be because it broke some very interesting news about the “rumored billions of dollars the oil-rich Arab nations are supposed to unload on American black leaders and minority institutions.” The columnist quoted a black San Francisco lawyer who said, “It’s not just a rumor. Aid will come from some of the Arab states.” 

Well, if anyone would know, it would have been this lawyer — Donald Warden, who had helped defend OPEC in an antitrust suit that year and had developed significant ties with the Saudi royal family since becoming a Muslim and taking the name Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour. 

Al-Mansour told Jarrett that he had presented the “proposed special aid program to OPEC Secretary-General Rene Ortiz” in September 1979, and that “the first indications of Arab help to American blacks may be announced in December.” Maybe so, but I looked high and wide in newspapers in 1979 and 1980 for any other stories about this aid package funded by OPEC and never found it verified. 

You would think that a program to spend “$20 million per year for 10 years to aid 10,000 minority students each year, including blacks, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians and native Americans” would be referred to somewhere other than one obscure 1979 column, but I haven’t found any other word of it.

Of course, what this means is that if Khalid al-Mansour, Percy Sutton, and Vernon Jarrett are all to be taken at their word, their accounts - which span over nearly 30 years - all make sense when taken together. The other thing it would mean is that Barack Obama is beholden to Saudi money in a very personal and substantial way. It will have meant the Saudis put him in the White House and such a deal doesn't come without steep payment.

The words of al-Mansour and Jarrett in 1979 - coupled with the words of Sutton in 2008 - also suggest that if a man so beholden to the Saudis ever became president, we might see the rise of fundamentalist Islam all over the Middle East and an administration hostile toward Israel.

At the Democratic National Convention, Washington Times reporter Kerry Pickett confronted Obama senior advisor Valerie Jarrett and asked her several times if she thought Attorney General Eric Holder should resign. Perhaps what was communicated most was what Jarrett didn't say; she refused to say no.

Eric Holder is sure to make news on September 11th because that's the day that the Justice Department's Inspector General (DOJ IG) will be in front of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, which is chaired by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA).

Here is the hearing announcement that was sent out by Issa's office one day prior to Pickett's attempt to get Jarrett to take a position on Holder:

DOJ Inspector General to Testify Next Week Following Release of Investigative Report on Operation Fast and Furious

WASHINGTON – House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today announced that Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz, following the release of his report of the investigation into reckless conduct in Operation Fast and Furious, will testify before the Full Oversight Committee on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.   In Operation Fast and Furious, agents failed to interdict firearms destined for Mexican drug cartels while hoping the guns, once recovered at crime scenes in Mexico, would lead them to higher ranking cartel officials.  Guns from the reckless Justice Department program, however, contributed to the deaths of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and an unknown number of Mexican citizens.  It also created an ongoing public safety hazard on both sides of the border.

“For a year and a half, Attorney General Eric Holder has cited the ongoing Inspector General investigation as his reason for declining to hold those responsible for reckless conduct in Operation Fast and Furious to account.  Next week, this excuse for delaying action ends,” said Chairman Darrell Issa.  “Although I am concerned that the Justice Department has not given the Inspector General full and unfettered access to all relevant information, Inspector General Horowitz’s report and testimony should add to the understanding of the operation and numerous related management failures at the Department.”

It looks like Horowitz might be attempting to engage Issa in a game of one-upsmanship. When it was announced that the IG Report was completed and would be released in four weeks, Issa wrote to Horowitz and said it's customary for the release to take place within two weeks. The Oversight committee chairman then proceeded to schedule Horowitz to appear before the committee after three weeks, which would be September 11th.

Earlier this week, the Los Angeles Times reported that Horowitz has written a letter to Issa, in which he appears to be hedging his bets about being ready on Tuesday, the 11th.

Based on how thin Issa's patience has been getting when it comes to this Fast and Furious investigation, Horowitz may be engaging in some ill-advised, petty gamesmanship; there could be a lot more downside than he thinks.

All through this investigation, individuals who have faced tough questions from committee members have chosen to defer to the as yet, unreleased IG Report. Now that the man responsible for it - Horowitz - will be bringing it to the Committee hearing with him, he won't be able to do what those before him have done - defer to the report that isn't released.

In Horowitz's case, he won't be able to defer to the report; he will have to defend it. The buck will stop with him. It might not be a good idea for him to needle Issa at this point. Then again, Horowitz may just need every waking minute to nail his talking points.

Klein: Valerie Jarrett's meeting with Hillary Clinton

According to Edward Klein, author of "The Amateur", Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had lunch with Obama's closest advisor Valerie Jarrett recently and when the subject turned to Clinton's interest in a VP slot, there wasn't any. In fact, if Klein is correct, the only reason she's not on the ticket already is because she doesn't want to be, not because Obama wouldn't do it.

Klein has benefited from increased credibility based on the contents of his book. He has demonstrated an uncanny knack for getting sources - even from opposing camps - to talk to him; his audio recorded interviews with Jeremiah Wright went a long way in this regard.

Pundits and talking heads have discussed in recent weeks the possibility of Vice President Joe Biden being replaced on the Democratic presidential ticket, particularly with news of his brief hiatus from the spotlight this weekend.

“Up until just a couple of weeks ago the White House was putting out feelers to see if Hillary would accept the vice-presidential nod and replace Joe Biden,” Klein said. “Bill Clinton was, I’m told, urging his wife to accept the number two slot. He saw this as a great launching pad for her for running in 2016.”

“But then Hillary had lunch in the White House a couple of weeks ago with Valerie Jarrett — Michelle [Obama]’s best friend, senior adviser to both the first lady and the president … and she told Valerie that she would not accept the vice president’s spot. The lunch was ostensibly about other matters, but it came up. … Hillary felt burned out after four years as Secretary of State. But I’m told there were more important reasons for her not accepting.”

Those reasons, Klein explained, involve the former first lady being put in positions that would make her vulnerable if she should decide to run for president four years from now.

So, Bill wants Hillary on the ticket; Obama - through Jarrett - appears to believe that teaming up with Hillary gives him the best chance in November. If Klein is right, Hillary is the reason it isn't a done deal yet. As Kudlow and Klein discuss in the exchange below, Obama only has about three weeks to change horses. Depending on how relentless the pressure on Hillary gets, coupled with how sweetened the pot gets, things could change.

If Obama continues to drop and Romney / Ryan continues to rise, look for the president's campaign to treat Hillary like every major college treats the nation's top recruit before National Signing Day.

Occupy Oakland Flares up again; 300 Arrested

If there is one city in America that has been home to the Occupy movement's most petulant miscreants, it's Oakland. Again, former Obama green jobs czar and Occupy organizer Van Jones is from Oakland. He has a rather cozy relationship with Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA), whose district includes Oakland; Lee has a rather cozy relationship with Valerie Jarrett, Obama's closest adviser. Until Americans begin to connect these dots, little to no accountability will take place. The liberal media certainly isn't doing the job.

Nonetheless, Occupy Oakland has just flared up again and has given the movement something to cheer about. With 300 arrests in Oakland all on the same day, the Occupy movement is now officially well over 6000 arrests nationwide.

Guess what?

They're so proud of it that they're tracking it.

ABC News reports that three officers were injured:

Police spokesman Jeff Thomason says most of the arrests came around 8 p.m. That's when police took about 100 protesters into custody as they marched through the city's downtown, with some entering a YMCA building.

About 20 demonstrators were arrested earlier in the afternoon, after police say they threw rocks, bottles and other objects at officers and tore down fencing.

Police say three officers were injured. Officers used tear gas and "flash" grenades on the protesters after they refused to leave.

Authorities were still tabulating the exact number of arrests late Saturday.

Again, these whackos like to portray themselves as victims. Do victims seek to add to their arrest totals while injuring police?

Top Obama Adviser Valerie Jarrett Hails Decorated General to fill Wine Glass

While at an exclusive dinner, Barack Obama's version of Karl Rove - Valerie Jarrett - stopped a high ranking and decorated military general as he was walking by the table and asked him to re-fill her glass of wine. Apparently, the only reason this incident was revealed was because it irritated someone enough who witnessed it to leak it to the media. As the president's closest adviser, Jarrett essentially represents Obama wherever she goes so the general had to comply - and did.

During an exclusive dinner hosted Monday by the Alfalfa Club, Obama adviser Valerie Jarret had just such a moment. And were it not for an irritated tipster, Jarret might have walked away from the dinner unblemished.

According to our tipster, Jarrett was seated at the head table along with several other big-name politicians and a handful of high-ranking military officials. As an officer sporting several stars walked past Jarrett, she signaled for his attention and said, “I’d like another glass of wine.”

Garçon!

White House economic adviser Austan Goolsbee, who was seated next to Jarret, began “cracking up nervously,” our tipster said, but no one pointed out to Jarrett that the man sporting a chestful of medals was not her waiter.

There were also more than enough waiters present for Jarrett to flag down without showing such disrespect for the military.

Remember, Jarrett's father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett and Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, were friends and colleagues in Chicago before Davis moved out to Hawaii in 1948.

BLAGO JUDGE'S RULINGS CONTINUE HELPING OBAMA

This trial is a spectacle in many ways but a pattern that has been developing and continues is the Judge's propensity for rulings that favor the Barack Obama administration. Now we have another one. The circumstances surrounding it are rather noteworthy as well. The prosecution is wrapping up, the defense is apparently caught flat-footed, and the judge is refusing to grant a delay in the trial.

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:

With a lightning-fast prosecution team resting more than a month ahead of schedule, lawyers for Rod Blagojevich are scrambling to call their first witnesses in the ex-governor's federal corruption trial.

With just a day or two until showtime -- and with vacation schedules and Secret Service logistics to contend with for big-name witnesses such as Rahm Emanuel and Valerie Jarrett -- the defense said Monday they could be "out of luck."

It's certainly possible that the Defense should have been better prepared for such a scenario but again, when you look at the totality of Zagel's rulings, they continue to benefit Obama.

BLAGO TRIAL SET TO GET VERY INTERESTING THIS WEEK

The corruption trial of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich started off slow but it gained significant momentum this past week with the testimony of former Blagojevich Chief of Staff, John Harris. Harris can be heard consulting with Blago on numerous tapes of phone conversations between the two after the 2008 election, strategizing about how to deal with Obama's request that Valerie Jarrett be appointed to Obama's soon-to-be vacated Senate seat. During Harris' testimony, he said that he had no doubt Obama knew that Blago wanted something in return for the appointment.

Phone calls between Harris and Blagojevich appear to back that up - a time when both were being honest with each other. Tom Balanoff, an official with SEIU at the time, spoke with Blagojevich according to the phone conversations as well. In one of the conversations, recorded on November 5th, 2008, Blago discusses his meeting with Balanoff about what he wants in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett to the seat - the HHS Secretary gig. Balanoff is also expected to testify in the trial.

While Harris is expected to take the stand on June 28th for a fifth day, another interesting development is percolating. It involves current Democratic candidate for that Senate seat in November - Alexi Giannoulias. Giannoulias is finding himself in a tough spot as a result of another phone conversation played for the jury this past week. It too was between Blago and Harris. In it, Harris can be heard telling Blago that "Alexi" called him, wanting to talk about the Senate seat, presumably to help push for Jarrett. Blago tells Harris not to engage Giannoulias.

This is particularly curious because Giannoulias has maintained that it was Blagojevich's team that reached out to him during the period in question. For a year and a half, he has withheld any information about this phone call.

Now we learn that Mr. Giannoulias has been subpoenaed to testify. Via the AP:

CHICAGO — U.S. Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias said Sunday that he has been subpoenaed to testify at the corruption trial of ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The first-term Illinois treasurer, a Democrat who's locked in a contentious race for President Barack Obama's old Senate seat with Republican Congressman Mark Kirk, told The Associated Press that he was subpoenaed by Blagojevich's defense team.

Giannoulias' name was mentioned briefly last week during Blagojevich's trial. Former Blagojevich chief of staff John Harris was heard on federal wiretaps mentioning that Giannoulias had called about Obama's old seat on behalf of someone else.

Interestingly, the Chicago Tribune reported back in December, 2008 that Giannoulias claimed that it was Blagojevich's team that reached out to him.

Giannoulias also said that staff within Blagojevich's office have "reached out" to him as a possible candidate to replace President-elect Barack Obama in the U.S. Senate, though a Blagojevich spokesman said the governor has not contacted Giannoulias directly.

Perhaps this contradiction between what Giannoulias said in 2008 juxtaposed with what was revealed on the tape of the phone conversation has a little something to do with his being subpoenaed? As you'll hear in the tape, not only was it Giannoulias that reached out to Harris but Blago tells Harris not to speak to Giannoulias.

Yep, this is going to be interesting, regardless of the Mainstream media's refusal to cover it.

BLAGOJEVICH REDACTIONS IN MOTION TO SUBPOENA OBAMA REVEALED

Defendant Rod Blagojevich has filed a motion to have Barack Obama subpoenaed in the former's trial. Most interesting is that the motion has been posted on line with significant portions redacted. That however, didn't prevent the redacted portions from being unearthed. Simply copying the redacted portions and pasting them into a word document actually reveals them. Yet, despite President Obama stating that no representatives of his had any part of any deals, labor union president told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to labor union official on November 3, 2008 who received a phone message from Obama that evening. After labor union official listened to the message labor union official told labor union president “I’m the one”. Labor union president took that to mean that labor union official was to be the one to deliver the message on behalf of Obama that Senate Candidate B was his pick. (Labor union president 302, February 2, 2009, p. 7).

10. Labor union official told the FBI and the United States Attorneys “Obama expressed his belief that [Senate Candidate B] would be a good Senator for the people of Illinois and would be a candidate who could win re-election. [Labor union official] advised Obama that [labor union official] would reach out to Governor Blagojevich and advocate for [Senate Candidate B].. . . [Labor union official] called [labor union president] and told [labor union president] that Obama was aware that [labor union official] would be reaching out to Blagojevich.” (Labor union official 302, February 3, 2009 p. 3).

11. According to Senate Candidate B, on November, 4 2008, Senate Candidate B spoke with labor union official about the Senate seat. Labor union official said he spoke to Obama. Labor union official said he was going to meet with Blagojevich and said “he was going to push Blagojevich hard on this. According to Senate Candidate B, labor union official’s language could have been stronger than the language that she was reporting to the government.” (Senate Candidate B 302, December 19, 2008).

12. On November 5, 2008, Blagojevich told John Harris that labor union official “talked to Barack Obama, wants to come and see me.” Blagojevich then told Harris that labor union official “was very explicit with me, “I talked to Barack about the Senate seat. Can I come and see ya? Can I do it tomorrow?’ I said, sure.” (Blagojevich Home Phone Call # 261)

13. A supporter of Presidential Candidate Obama suggested that she talk to the wife of Governor Blagojevich about Senate Candidate B for Senator. (Valerie Jarrett 302, December 19, 2008). Supporter of Presidential Candidate Obama is mentioned in a phone call on November 3, 2008, having offered “fundraising” in exchange for Senate Candidate B for senator (Blagojevich Home Phone Call # 149).

17.President-elect Obama also spoke to Governor Blagojevich on December 1, 2008 in Philadelphia. On Harris Cell Phone Call # 139, John Harris and Governor’s legal counsel discuss a conversation Blagojevich had with President-elect Obama. The government claims a conspiracy existed from October 22, 2008 continuing through December 9, 2008.6 That conversation is relevant to the defense of the government’s theory of an ongoing conspiracy. Only Rod Blagojevich and President Obama can testify to the contents of that conversation. The defense is allowed to present evidence that corroborates the defendant’s testimony.7

18.President-elect Obama also suggested Senate Candidate A to Governor Blagojevich. John Harris told the FBI and the United States Attorneys that he spoke to President’s Chief of Staff on November 12, 2008. Harris took notes of the conversation and wrote that President’s Chief had previously worked as Blagojevich's press secretary. Obama agreed of Staff told Harris that Senate Candidate A was acceptable to Obama as a senate pick. (Harris handwritten notes, OOG1004463) President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that “he could not say where but somewhere it was communicated to him that” Senate Candidate A was a suggested candidate viewed as one of the four “right” candidates “by the Obama transition team.” (Rahm Emanuel 302, p. 5, December 20, 2008). Harris told Blagojevich Obama’s suggestion on November 12, 2008 (Blagojevich Home Phone Call # 539).
19.President-elect Obama was also involved in other senate candidate choices. On December 8, 2008, John Harris’ secretary’s call log noted President’s Chief of Staff called at 10:47 am and wrote “needs to talk to you asap” (Harris 302, February 20, 2009). President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI that he had a conversation discussing the Senate seat with Obama on December 7, 2008 in Obama’s car. President’s Chief of Staff told the FBI “Obama expressed concern about Senate Candidate D being appointed as Senator. [President’s Chief of Staff] suggested they might need an expanded list to possibly include names of African Americans that came out of the business world. [President’s Chief of Staff] thought he suggested Senate Candidate E who was the head of the Urban League and with President’s Chief of Staff’s suggestion." (President’s Chief of Staff, 302, 12-20-08).

22.However, the defense has a good faith belief that Mr. Rezko, President Obama’s former friend, fund-raiser, and neighbor told the FBI and the United States Attorneys a different story about President Obama. In a recent in camera proceeding, the government tendered a three paragraph letter indicating that Rezko “has stated in interviews with the government that he engaged in election law violations by personally contributing a large sum of cash to the campaign of a public official who is not Rod Blagojevich. ... Further, the public official denies being aware of cash contributions to his campaign by Rezko or others and denies having conversations with Rezko related to cash contributions. ... Rezko has also stated in interviews with the government that he believed he transmitted a quid pro quo offer from a lobbyist to the public official, whereby the lobbyist would hold a fundraiser for the official in exchange for favorable official action, but that the public official rejected the offer. The public official denies any such conversation. In addition, Rezko has stated to the government that he and the public official had certain conversations about gaming legislation and administration, which the public official denies having had.”
23.President Obama is the only one who can testify as to the veracity of Mr. Rezko’s allegations above.

The defense has a good faith belief that this public official is Barack Obama. See, “Obama on Rezko deal: It was a mistake”, Dave McKinney, Chris Fusco, and Mark Brown, Chicago Sun Times, November 5, 2006. Senator Barack Obama was asked: “Did Rezko or his companies ever solicit your support on any matter involving state or federal government? Did Al Johnson, who was trying to get a casino license along with Tony Rezko, or Rezko himself ever discuss casino matters with you?” Senator Obama answered: “No, I have never been asked to do anything to advance his business interest. In 1999, when I was a State Senator, I opposed legislation to bring a casino to Rosemont and allow casino gambling at docked riverboats which news reports said Al and Tony Rezko were interested in being part of. I never discussed a casino license with either of them. I was a vocal opponent of the legislation.” Obama’s involvement with Tony Rezko and this legislation coincides with the three paragraph summary the government has provided to the defense referenced above.

As for the relevance of the redacted portions in particular and the entire motion in general, NBC Chicago identified six secrets that the un-redacted portions reveal. It is not clear whether the easily deciphered redactions were intentional but they do make things quite interesting. Claims - with names - are being made that Obama spoke to Blago on December 1st, 2008 and Blago wants the contents of that conversation admitted. There is also a claim that not only was Valerie Jarrett offered Obama's vacant Senate seat but that a quid pro quo was involved. Of course, Obama's conversations with Tony Rezko are at issue as well.

The motion filed Thursday says Obama was interviewed for two hours by prosecutors and FBI agents regarding the Blagojevich case, and the defense filed a motion asking for all transcripts, notes and reports from that interview. But the defense never received the documents, the motion said.

Here is a link to the story referenced by Blago in this motion he points to as proof that the interview between the FBI and Obama took place.

Another aspect of the motion that should raise some interest is Blago's accusation that he met with a union official ostensibly representing Obama's interests over who should be appointed to his former Senate seat. Blago says yes. Obama has denied any such claim in the past.

The motion also claims that prosecutors say Blagojevich met a labor union official whom he believed to be in contact with President Obama, and told the official he would appoint a certain candidate to the vacant Senate seat. In exchange, Blagojevich expected to be named secretary of Health and Human Services, the motion says prosecutors claim.

I'm nearly at a loss for words on this one. Yes, I said "nearly". There are two things to discuss here. The first is the response from the other half of Obama's Brain - Valerie Jarrett - to a comment that Obama is exhibiting "womanly" leadership. Jarrett actually thanked the individual making the comment, saying that she would pass it along to Obama and that he would be "pleased" with the comparison.

The second aspect I found disturbing was Jarrett's lecturing people on actually listening to each other. In light of this health care debate, in which her boss absolutely REFUSES to listen to the American people, Jarrett displayed a level of hypocrisy, the likes of which rivals the low watermark.

This is what the left does. When they are losing the debate, they blame their opponents for using heated rhetoric when those opponents REFUSE to be ignored. Obama lives in a world of so many lies, the best way for him to deal with truth is to turn it off, either by not listening or by encouraging those speaking it to shut up.

Maybe Valerie has a point....

BLAGOJEVICH SCANDAL LIVES

About one year ago, then president-elect Barack Obama found himself a little too close to a Chicago scandal involving Governor Rod Blagojevich and Obama's soon to be vacated senate seat. Candidate #1 to fill Obama's seat was allegedly Valerie Jarrett, who may be doing more damage to the country as a senior White House adviser to the president than she would have as a senator.

Obama's now Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel may have felt the most heat when it came to Obama's inner circle as speculation that his phone calls with Blago were recorded. In the weeks following the announcement by Patrick Fitzgerald that Blago was being arrested, the FBI conducted interviews with Obama, Jarrett, Emanuel, et al.

The CHICAGO SUN-TIMES reported:

Rod Blagojevich's lawyers want the FBI to give up details of interviews conducted last year of President Obama, his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, White House adviser Valerie Jarrett and others as part of the investigation into the former governor.

In a Friday filing, Blagojevich attorneys also asked for information regarding first lady Michelle Obama. However, a source said late Friday that the FBI never interviewed the first lady.

Blagojevich's attorneys are asking for the FBI to release the transcripts / recordings of those interviews. If Blago gets his wish and can unequivocally prove that any or all of the three were lying, this could get very interesting.

VIDEO: VALERIE JARRETT DOES THE MOONWALK

Yes, Campbell Brown gets Valerie Jarrett to step out of her chair and do that funky backward dance. Well, not exactly but she does walk back very quickly when Campbell Brown asks Jarrett if MSNBC is biased after getting Jarrett to admit that Fox is biased. In fact, it may just be the walk back of the year.

What on earth would cause CNN to entrap the other half of Obama's brain? We could be witnessing the beginnning of an internal battle between the leftwing media. Pride is a very powerful thing and CNN's ratings are cratering. In fact, as their promos tout them being the most watched cable news network, they're actually in the basement looking up at, of all things, their sister network Headline News which airs re-runs all day.

Meanwhile, Keith Olbermann at MSNBC is airing promos saying that because Fox is no longer a news outlet, the race for #1 is among all of the remaining networks. During and after the promo, Olbermann gloats about how CNN and Headline news are being left in MSNBC's dust.

My guess is CNN doesn't like this one bit and it was manifested in this interview of Jarrett by Campbell Brown, who deserves high marks for the questioning.

Something else caught my eye too. We all know how much the left detests Sarah Palin. Putting Valerie Jarrett in that camp is a very safe bet.

Is it me or has Valerie Jarrett decided that she likes the eyeglass frames that Palin wears?

VALERIE JARRETT'S MOTHER AND BILL AYERS' FATHER

Frank Marshall Davis was under FBI investigation for 19 years and moved from Chicago to Hawaii in 1948, leaving behind a colleague named Vernon Jarrett. Both wrote for a leftwing newspaper called the Chicago Defender. In 1971, Davis was introduced to a 9 year-old Barack Obama and mentored him for 9 years.

Oh, and in addition to Frank Marshall Davis being a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA), he wrote pornogrpahic books that even delved into child molestation. One book in particular, 'SEX REBEL' did just that.

Trevor Loudon now has more on THIS STORY. So why is Vernon Jarrett important? For starters, he's the late father-in-law of Barack's most trusted confidant, Valerie Jarrett who was also the alleged "Senatorial Candidate #1" for Obama's soon-to-be vacated Senate seat when Patrick Fitzgerald announced the investigation back in December. Ok, so the father-in-law of the woman identified as the other side of Barack's brain was a colleague of Obama's childhood mentor. That's what we call one degree of separation. What about Jarrett's mother?

Jarrett's mother, Barbara Taylor Bowman (pictured kissing Barack) was on a Board with the father of another notorious figure according to Loudon.

Much of what Loudon writes about was also covered in his June 1st post, which I COVERED HERE. However, he now has new information on the connections of Valerie Jarrett's mother and none other than Bill Ayers' father, Tom Ayers.

Valerie Bowman's marriage to Vernon Jarrett's late son only lasted five years but the Bowman and Jarrett families had been life long friends.

Valerie Jarrett's mother, early childhood education authory Barbara Taylor Bowman also has some interesting connections.

For several years she has run the Chicago based Erikson Institute. An early Erikson board member was Chicago businessman and "liberal" activist Tom Ayers-father of Weather Underground terrorist leader and long time Obama colleague Bill Ayers.

Bernardine Dohrn, wife of Bill and reputedly the real leader of Weather Underground has also served on the Erikson board in recent years.

Think about this for a moment. In addition to Barack Obama serving on a Board with Bill Ayers, the mother of Obama's most trusted political confidant (Valerie Jarrett) served on a Board with Bill Ayers' father (along with Ayers' wife Bernadine Dohrn). As if that weren't enough, Valerie Jarrett's father-in-law was a close colleague of Barack Obama's Communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.

Loudon then quotes Bill Ayers from page 82 of his own book showing reverence for Valerie Jarrett's mother.

"Just south I see the Robert Taylor Homes named for the first head of the Chicago Housing Authority, whose daughter, a neighbor and friend is president of the Erikson Institute."

Sounds like Bowman may have viewed Ayers as someone more than just "a guy in the neighborhood."

FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS AND THE JARRETT FAMILY

Let's face it. The reason Van Jones is no longer the Green Czar is primarily due to Glenn Beck's doggedness. Secondarily, bloggers like Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit posting more pieces to the puzzle with the help of every day citizens sending him videos, images, and web links outing Jones' radical past.

Now what?

The template has been created. Beck needs to identify another radical (shouldn't be hard to do) and be relentless about exposing him / her like he did with Jones. Perhaps Beck will target CASS SUNSTEIN, who wants to regulate the internet and allow animals to retain attorneys. Or maybe Science Czar JOHN HOLDREN who has written about sterilization, forced abortions, and population control in general.

Personally, I'd like to see Beck go after FCC Diversity Czar MARK LLOYD who is a big fan of shutting down private broadcasters by taxing them out of business. Lloyd may be the easiest target as he is on tape saying some very outlandish things, to include championing the efforts of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela.

But maybe there's someone a little closer to Obama's inner circle that should begin to feel a little heat. On June 1st, New Zealand blogger TREVOR LOUDON wrote that he has conclusive evidence that Barack Obama's communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis was a colleague of Valerie Jarrett's father-in-law Vernon Jarrett. Valerie has been identified by some as "Barack's Rock" or "The Other half of Barack's Brain". If you remember, she was also the alleged Senate candidate #1 to fill Obama's vacated seat that ultimately went to Roland Burris. Had Blagojevich been a little less unstable, Jarrett very well may be a sitting Senator right now.

What Loudon uncovered is truly amazing.

Frank Marshall Davis works closely in communist causes with Vernon Jarrett in Chicago. Davis moves to hawaii where he eventually meets and mentors a young Barack Obama. Then Obama moves to Chicago where his career is promoted by both Davis's old colleague Vernon Jarrett and the Communist Party. Vernon Jarrett's daughter-in-law employs Barack Obama's fiance, befriends the family and becomes one of President Obama's most trusted advisors. The Communist Party throws its entire weight behind Obama's presidential campaign.

This story is nearly four months old but it is still fresh if someone like Beck picks it up.

If we learned anything about the events leading up to the resignation of Jones, it's that everyone needs to work together to expose some very radical and dangerous individuals Barack Obama has surrounded himself with.

Politically speaking, those who live by Alinsky's rules may just die by them.

Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.

This administration is reeling and it is NO TIME to let up. Pick a Czar and expose him / her.

VIDEO: WILL VAN BE THROWN UNDER BUS?

If there's one thing we've learned about Mr. Obama it's that he's not a fan of being associated with radioactive situations (though he seems to find himself close to a lot of them). When the heat gets a little too close, he's been known to cast aside its human source.

His Green Jobs Czar Van Jones appears to be exposing himself as being an unstable nucleus within the Obama machine. Bill Ayers at least learned how to tone down his rhetoric from 40 years ago and has apparently done so well at hiding his true beliefs that he became a professor at a major university.

Van Jones? Eh, not so much. There is a lot of unflattering video and audio coming out on Jones these days that show him as an angry radical marxist. A big problem for Jones is that the stuff surfacing is not that old. His son being named after a radical African marxist might be excusable if his offspring eclipsed the legal drinking age a while back. But alas, Cabral is not even old enough to go to kindergarten.

Now this latest installment is from a quaint little outfit called, "Uprising Radio" in which Jones was interviewed in April, 2008 (yes, a year ago).

Things to listen for:
Listen as Van explains the difference between "minimum goals" and "maximum goals". It's all about incrementalism, something Barack is a big fan of. You don't want to eat the entire apple in one bite. He's talking about incremental revolution by making sure minimum goals have (I love this metaphor) a "radical kernel".

Note also what he says about the green economy. "push it. push it. push it." Straight out of Saul Alinsky. Rule #8: Keep the pressure on.

Valerie Jarrett makes an appearance in this video as well. She is an advocate for Van Jones. Remember her? Obama's alleged preferred Senate seat replacement that ultimately went to Roland Burris.
