Huma Abedin's fellow Board Member at MSA defended TLC's All American Muslim

Recently, we wrote about Huma Abedin's time on the Board of the Muslim Students Association (MSA) at George Washington University. A woman she served alongside with on that Board is Souheila Al-Jadda, who is currently a member of the Board of Contributors for USA Today. Al-Jadda has also served as a legislative assistant for Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH).

Nearly one year ago, a program on The Learning Channel (TLC) was the source of controversy when Lowe's decided to pull its advertising from TLC's All American Muslim (AAM), a show that followed the lives of five Muslim families in Dearborn, MI. Concerns raised initially by the Florida Family Association (FFA) were validated when we examined the background of the Imam featured in the show. His name is Husham Al-Husainy. In the show, he was highly respected and presided over the wedding of a Muslim girl and her fiance, who converted so they could marry.

Here is what we wrote at the time, thanks to Walid's translation of the Jerusalem Document, via Human Events:
Al-Husainy is a signatory to the Jerusalem Document of 2009, which reads more like Mein Kampf. It refers to the war on Zionism as a war between “good and evil.”   Zionism is considered an “aggression” that is infecting “the entire human race.” Muslims are told to “get ready for the Holy Jihad.”

If one is inclined to believe this is the “struggle within” version of jihad, the reading of the following phrase after translation should prompt a reevaluation:

“We remind our sons to get ready to carry out their duty in Holy Jihad and continue the path which our young valiant men in Hezbollah began in Southern Lebanon.”
Here is a radio interview from 2007 between Sean Hannity and Husham Al-Husainy who would not denounce Hezbollah and ultimately cut the interview short when he hung up on Hannity:

With this as a backdrop, let's look at the words of Souheila Al-Jadda. During the AAM controversy, she wrote an article for the USA Today, which said, in part, the following:
To me, and many other Muslim Americans, this is the strength of the TV show — demystifying a community that has long been misunderstood. With an opening night audience of 1.7 million, according to Broadcasting & Cable, All-American Muslim will hopefully change the national discourse about Muslims from that of suspicion and exclusion to one of greater trust and inclusion.
Propaganda charges

But a number of critics and activists are unfairly attacking the program, claiming the show is Muslim propaganda that hides the extremist agenda. Some are even pressuring companies, in addition to Lowe's, to pull their advertising to force the show off the air. These attacks are not only short on substance but also wrong on principle and bad for America. They undermine ever-evolving American values of pluralism and tolerance.
A little bit later, Al-Jadda invoked the Ground Zero mosque controversy as another case in point (yes, it seems that Al-Jadda supported construction of the mosque, despite Feisal Abdul Rauf's ties to extremists):
It's no secret that anti-Muslim rhetoric continues to plague public discussions about this community. From New York Rep. Pete King's Muslim radicalization hearings in Congress this year to the anti-sharia movement to the debate surrounding an Islamic center near Ground Zero in New York, Muslims hear this drumbeat of suspicion even a decade after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Additional irony is provided by Al-Jadda when she terms the problems people had with AAM as being "bigotry and stereotyping". Al-Husainy wouldn't denounce the virulently racist / anti-Semitic Hezbollah. Giving the USA Today contributor the benefit of the doubt would require an assumption that she doesn't know the views of Al-Husainy and would denounce them if she did. It's been nearly a year since the All American Muslim controversy and about five years since Al-Husainy hung-up on Hannity. Isn't it about time for Al-Jadda to denounce him (and Hezbollah / Hamas / MSA)?

Uh, that poses a bit of a problem, however.

Al-Jadda served on the Board of the Muslim Students Association at George Washington University with... Huma Abedin. She would have to denounce a Muslim Brotherhood organization with which she is inextricably tied.

Moreover, thanks to the Florida Family Association, it was learned that an All American Muslim styled program was broadcast to six million high school students in America in which two MSA Presidents were profiled.

Incidentally, in a New York Times article that mentions GWU by name, the following is said about the MSA:
Donations from Saudi Arabia largely financed the group, and its leaders pushed the kingdom’s puritan, Wahhabi strain of Islam. Prof. Hamid Algar of the University of California, Berkeley, said that in the 1960s and 1970s, chapters advocated theological and political positions derived from radical Islamist organizations and would brook no criticism of Saudi Arabia.
That would be the same Saudi Arabia that commissioned Abdullah Omar Naseef to found the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs (IMMA) and put Huma Abedin's parents in charge of it.

After twelve years at the IMMA as an Assistant Editor, Huma went to work for Hillary Clinton as her closest advisor and Deputy Chief of Staff (after having already served the First Lady as an aide since 1996, one year before she was listed as being on the MSA Board).

Here again is the screen shot of that 1997 MSA Board at GWU:

Report: Iran working with al-Qaeda

When US federal district judge ruled, after eight years, that Iran and Hezbollah were behind 9/11 and worked closely with al-Qaeda to coordinate the attacks, it was shockingly not all that newsworthy. It meant that Iran hit the United States in the same way that Japan did at Pearl Harbor. It was a bombshell met with virtual silence.

Now, we have real time evidence that Iran is currently working with al-Qaeda at a time when the former is threatening terror attacks on American soil.

Via Fox News:
U.S. officials say they believe Iran recently gave new freedoms to as many as five top Al Qaeda operatives who have been under house arrest, including the option to leave the country, and may have provided some material aid to the terrorist group.

The men, who were detained in Iran in 2003, make up Al Qaeda's so-called management council, a group that includes members of the inner circle that advised Usama bin Laden and an explosives expert widely considered a candidate for a top post in the organization.
Of course, there are libertarians out there who don't want to believe any of this.
Skeptics caution that intelligence on Iran's activities is limited and worry that some policy makers might use provocative reports to justify military action against Tehran. Iran has denied any connection with Al Qaeda.

U.S. officials believe there have been recent indications that officials in the Iranian government have provided Al Qaeda operatives in Iran limited assistance, including logistical help, money and cars, according to a person briefed on the developments.
If those "skeptics" ever read about Havlish v. Iran,  et. al, their skepticism would be more than assuaged.

You can read all about Havlish HERE.

Is Obama Administration letting Iran off the Hook for Murder of Marines?

In December of last year, a US federal district judge ruled that Iran and Hezbollah were behind the 9/11 attacks. In 2007, a US federal district judge ruled that Iran was liable for the attack on US Marines in Lebanon in 1983 and ordered Tehran to pony up $2.65 Billion.

Now, the World Tribune is reporting that the Obama administration is blocking legislation that would require the ruling be upheld and enforced.
President Barack Obama, in a bid to reconcile with the Teheran regime, has blocked legislation that would hold Iran accountable for the Hizbullah bombing that killed 241 U.S. Marines in 1983.

A survivors group has asserted that the administration is pressuring Democrats in Congress not to support a bill that would enforce massive judgements against Iran by the families of the Marines. In 2007, a U.S. federal district court judge found Iran liable for the Beirut bombing and ordered Teheran to pay $2.65 billion in damages.

“This administration talks a lot about sanctions, but we know Iran is watching this case closely and, astonishingly, Obama’s people are taking Iran’s side,” Lynn Smith Derbyshire, a lobbyist for the legislation, said.
Let's not forget that Obama welcomed Hadi al-Ameri into the Oval Office about ten days before Judge George Daniel ruled Iran was responsible for 9/11. Al-Ameri, though a member of the Iraqi government, is and has been an agent for Iran with strong loyalties to the Ayatollah.

Ayatollah orders Attacks; Colleague of man given the order Visited White House

The recent assassination of one of Iran's nuclear scientists has apparently prompted the Ayatollah to dispatch Hezbollah to commit terror attacks through the head of the Al Quds Brigade. That man's name is Gen. Qasem Soleimani. That name is made more relevant by the fact that a close associate of Soleimani was recently given the red carpet treatment by the White House.

But first, the Ayatollah's order.

Via WND:
Iran is taking several steps to help Syria’s beleaguered President Bashar Assad, assassinate opposition figures and attack Israeli and American interests worldwide, sources have confirmed.

After the recent assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, deputy director of the first uranium enrichment facility at Natanz, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, ordered retaliation.

He instructed Gen. Qasem Soleimani, the chief commander of the Quds Forces, to prepare the ground for terrorist attacks, first to retaliate against assassination and espionage within the Iranian nuclear program, and second, to go on the offensive to make the West understand that any military action against Iran will create much instability in the world.
Some might remember an article from earlier this month that highlighted a federal judge's ruling that Iran and Hezbollah were behind 9/11. In that report, Hadi al-Ameri's connection to Iran was explored. It was relevant because he was welcomed into the Oval Office on December 12th of last year. Here is a screen shot of al-Ameri in the Oval Office as part of an Iraqi delegation. Yes, Iraqi delegation. Al-Ameri is Iraq's Transportation Minister and has obvious loyalties to the Ayatollah:

As part of the research for that article, an Arabic document that had been translated drew a very distinct connection between Soleimani and al-Ameri. Here is an excerpt from that 2005 document:
Hadi Farhan Abdullah Al Ameri, known as "Abu Hassan Al Ameri", is currently leading Badr Organization and is one of the figures that are directly connected to the Iranian Al Quds Brigade.

Al Ameri's journey started with the Shiite opposition, by the beginning of the 80s, when he left Iraq to Jordan, where he remained for a few days before moving to Syria. In Syria, he contacted the Supreme Council and he was transported to Iran. He spent all the following years there.

Al Ameri holds the Iranian nationality under the name of Hassan Ameri and his wife is Iranian. He usually visits Iran and meets with Qassem Sulaimani, the head of Al Quds Brigade, under the Iranian guard forces, on a regular basis.

While being in Iran, Al Ameri played a role in torturing the Iraqi prisoners, who were captured by Iran during the Iraqi-Iranian war. Prisoners who returned from there accuse him of being the cruelest against them. This role helped him to reach the status that he occupies in the eyes of the Iranians.
Fox News reported on al-Ameri's visit back in December. Here is the video report:

Video: All American Muslim Imam Caught on tape Again

Remember this guy? When the controversy over Lowe's pulling its advertising from the TLC program, All American Muslim, we learned that they were justified in light of the fact that this Imam - Husham Alhusayni - has expressed support for Hezbollah and Iran. Now there is video of Alhusayni supporting terrorism and genocide.

The 9/11 Commission Report - Part II

Former legal counsel to the 9/11 Commission, Janice Kephart is a border / immigration expert who was an integral part of the 9/11 Commission, which concluded that Iran and Hezbollah were likely involved in the 9/11 attacks. The Commission recommended that the United States Government (USG) pursue those leads. USG never followed up but a private sector law firm did. That law firm's conclusions shine an even bigger spotlight on the Obama administration's decision to give an Iran-sponsored terrorist the red carpet treatment.
The 9/11 Commission Report - Part II
Walid Shoebat and Ben Barrack

If the government has Ten Commandments, the game of politics, not homeland security, would be at the top of the list. Eager to play the game, the Obama Administration pulled out of Iraq in time for Christmas as it welcomed Iran’s puppets into the Oval Office. The Iraqi delegation, headed by Nouri al-Maliki, included a conspirator in Iran’s terror campaigns—the Iraqi Minister of Transportation, Hadi al-Ameri.

To quash the voices of survivors and victims' families who linked al-Ameri to American deaths in the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing, the Obama administration replied, “There is no evidence of Hadi al-Ameri's involvement in any act of violence against U.S. Citizens.”

However, when dots are connected, they point to al-Ameri being an Iranian agent—a first-class terrorist. Ten days after al-Ameri's visit to the White House, US District Judge George B. Daniels signed a 53 page document in Havlish v. Iran that included 276 Statements of Fact and 35 Conclusions of Law in his ruling that the 9/11 attacks were the result of an “Iran-Hezbollah-al Qaeda alliance.” The document showed one Abolghasem Mesbahi—who had defected years earlier after receiving a tip from a colleague that he was on the regime's kill list while working for Iran’s Ministry of Information and Security (MOIS)—testified that MOIS gave material support to Hezbollah. His credible testimony included three coded messages he received in the weeks leading up to the 9/11 attacks from contacts he had inside Iran.

The case revealed that Imad Mughniyah, once Iran's notorious Hezbollah leader, was involved in coordinating and facilitating the 9/11 attacks and committed “numerous terrorist operations against American citizens.” He cracked the FBI's “Most Wanted” list for twenty-one years but al-Ameri’s terrorist rap sheet puts him on par with Mughniyah, whose connection with the Iranian Revolution is not without significance. Arabic translations surfaced from Al-Malaf Net in Amman, Jordan; they uncovered top-secret documents years ago that identified Al-Ameri as:

“...the most prominent identity in this equation. He possesses all the keys relating to the connections with Iran and is in charge of the strongest security authority in Iraq at present—Badr Organization… [al-Ameri] is a high-ranking member in the Central Committee of the institution, known as the Central Authority; it is the largest security/military organization in Iraq that plans and executes dozens of military and security operations against Iran's opposition in various Iraqi cities, on a daily basis. He works directly under the command of Abdel Aziz Al Hakim.”

The documents show that al-Ameri’s Badr is the...

“Central Authority, which  receives its Fatwas for assassination operations directly from Khamenei's office. Targets are specified in coordination with the command of the Iranian Ramadan Base. Hence, any agreed upon operation is executed.”

One such document (pictured) discusses working with the Badr terrorist forces for the purpose of liquidating opponents, controlling the media, and using weapons and provisions provided by the Iranian revolution, to combat “Anglo-American” forces.

Havlish identified Al Quds Brigade, of which al-Ameri is a member, as the “foreign division” of another defendant in Havlish, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Al Quds is responsible for overseas terrorism and named one of the “most... violent terrorist organizations in the world.” Al-Ameri's membership in Al Quds was translated to include the names of agents and victims, as well as his Iranian Al Quds secret file number (10074) and bank account number (3014) into which over 2 million Iranian riyals a month was to be paid as blood monies for carrying out acts of terrorism. And if a picture is worth a thousand words, his religious obedience to Iran’s Islamist regime is quite visual in that al-Ameri can be seen bowing and kissing (video below) the hand of his Fuhrer—the Ayatollah himself. Iran's Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Council of Resistance of Iran identifies al-Ameri as having been responsible for 150 terrorist operations over a period of time during which the Khobar Towers were bombed.

Janice Kephart, former staff counsel to the 9/11 Commission, was interviewed for this article and explained why these recent discoveries were absent from the 9/11 Commission Report; there wasn't sufficient time to further develop the intelligence prior to its release. Kephart referred to pages 240 – 241, adding that al-Qaeda members avoided having their passports stamped by Iranian border inspectors; and between 8 to 10 of the 9/11 hijackers traveled into or out of Iran prior to 9/11. Kephart concluded that “The document signed by Judge Daniels really represents part two of the 9/11 Commission Report.” “We showed a tangential connection between al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, and Iran but after several years, the plaintiffs' attorneys in Havlish really got to the heart of that relationship, and it was extensive.” Senior Counsel for 9/11 Commission staff, Dietrich Snell also submitted an affidavit that corroborated this ‘Iranian connection’ evidence.

Al-Ameri's Oval Office visit occurred despite the 9/11 Commission's recommendation that the United States government (USG) explore Iran's involvement in 9/11. Instead, it took a private law firm spending several years doing what the USG would not, while the Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta falsely stated:

“...my view is that the region largely rejects Iran and its intentions and I think Iraq is at the top of that list.”
Accuracy in Media's Cliff Kincaid detailed Panetta's close personal friendship with Communist Party member Hugh DeLacy. The two exchanged letters revealing that then-congressman Panetta pledged to show DeLacy “a series of documents on military and foreign policy matters.”

While some might overlook the red carpet treatment given to terrorist al-Ameri as diplomacy, Obama's recent attempts to build ties with Egypt's notorious Muslim Brotherhood will eventually prove to be catastrophic; the entire Middle East has been presented to Islamists on an altar made bloody by thousands of American soldiers and civilians.

After all, it is an election year and politics is the first Commandment.

Former 9/11 Commission Counsel on Iran being behind 9/11

In February of 2002, Fiona Havlish filed suit against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah, and others for their complicity in the September 11th attacks. Havlish's husband, who was on the 101st floor of the South Tower was one of the murdered victims. Nearly ten years later, on December 23rd, 2011, U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels found for the plaintiff and signed a 53 page document that included hundreds of 'statements of fact' and 'legal conclusions.'

Former 9/11 Commission legal counsel and border security expert, Janice Kephart has been intimately involved in the case for years and even submitted an affidavit. She sums up the case in a Washington Times piece:
On July 23, 2001, a former senior Iranian intelligence officer, Abolghasem Mr. Mesbahi, learned that Iran’s plan to strike the United States had been activated. Mr. Mesbahi knew it was important and real because he had worked on this plan previously, when he had helped set up Iran’s intelligence service, the MOIS, as far back as the mid-1980s. Mr. Mesbahi - known outside Iran as one of a core of “Assassins”- told German intelligence, which had given him protected status as a key witness in German prosecutions of brutal Iranian assassinations of dozens of dissidents.

On Aug. 13, 2001, Mr. Mesbahi received greater specificity as to the plot. The coded messages from former colleagues inside Iran revealed that the longtime plan to crash civilian airliners into American cities had been activated. Again, the officer told his German handlers, who responded that they would convey the information - we do not know if they did or to whom or exactly what information they might have passed on - and the Germans would let Mr. Mesbahi know if there were any developments. On Aug. 27, 2001, Mr. Mesbahi once more received confirmation that the plan was in motion, and the messages indicated a German connection. The 9/11 Commission would later confirm that key 9/11 liaison Ramzi Binalshibh and pilots Mohammad Atta and Ziad Jarrah were all German residents leading up to Sept. 11.

After Sept. 11, Mr. Mesbahi approached an American he knew was well-versed in Iranian affairs and told him of his foreknowledge of the Sept. 11 plan and how the plot to crash the then existing Boeing 747 aircraft into New York, Washington and Chicago had evolved in Iran years prior. The Pentagon, White House and World Trade Center had been on the hit list. Back in the 1980s, Iran had decided, he said, that to defeat the United States, it needed to engage in asymmetric warfare.
As I wrote about here, Mesbahi was a huge piece of the puzzle that showed Iran's involvement. The other huge piece to the puzzle was a Hezbollah leader named Imad Mughniyah; he was that group's liaison with al-Qaeda:
How did Iran get involved with al Qaeda? According to the Lopez-Tefft affidavit and other expert affidavits in the case, as well as convicted former Osama bin Laden bodyguard Ali Mohamed, the alliance began in 1993 in Khartoum, Sudan, in a meeting between Iranian and Hezbollah leadership with al Qaeda leadership to bridge the Shiite-Sunni gap and address common goals of defeating Israel and the United States. A direct working relationship was created between Iran’s MOIS; Hezbollah’s operational chief and key liaison with Iran, Imad Mughniyah; Osama bin Laden; and other senior al Qaeda leadership. Mughniyah himself was responsible for more than 100 terrorist incidents until his assassination in Syria in 2008.
This trial appears to have revealed the smoking gun of the 9/11 attacks and Iran is holding it.

Verdict: Iran and Hezbollah behind 9/11 Attacks

This is by far and away, the most underreported story of 2011. In fact, it may be the biggest story of 2011 but went almost completely unnoticed. A case filed in 2002, by the families of 9/11 victims, has taken nine years to reach a verdict. That verdict is that Iran, its Ayatollahs, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. (IRGC), The Ministry of Information and Security (MOIS), Hezbollah, and others were responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

Via Iran 911 Case:
A federal district court in Manhattan yesterday entered a historic ruling that reveals new facts about Iran's support of al Qaeda in the 9/11 attacks. U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels ruled yesterday that Iran and Hezbollah materially and directly supported al Qaeda in the September 11, 2001 attacks and are legally responsible for damages to hundreds of family members of 9/11 victims who are plaintiffs in the case.

Judge Daniels had announced his ruling in Havlish, et al. v. bin Laden, et al., in open court on Thursday, December 15, 2011, following a three-hour courtroom presentation by the families' attorneys. Judge Daniels entered a written Order of Judgment yesterday backed by 53 pages of detailed Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law.

Fiona Havlish, whose husband Donald perished in the World Trade Center North Tower on 9/11 said, "This is a historic day. For ten years we've wanted the truth to be known about who was responsible for our losses. Now we have that answer."
Key evidence was obtained by an Iranian defector who was referred to in the 2004 9/11 Commission report as Witness X, but not named until 2008, during the trial:
Witness X, whose dramatic testimony was previously filed under seal, was revealed to be Abolghasem Mesbahi, a former MOIS operative in charge of Iran's espionage operations in Western Europe. Judge Daniels found that Mesbahi has testified in numerous prosecutions of Iranian and Hezbollah terrorists, including the Mykonos case in Germany and the AMIA case in Argentina, and found to be highly reliable and credible.

Judge Daniels also credited Mesbahi's testimony that he received messages during the summer of 2001 from inside the Iranian government that an Iranian contingency plan for unconventional warfare against the U.S. called "Shaitan dar Atash" had been activated. "This is compelling proof that Iran was deeply involved in the 9/11 conspiracy," said Tim Fleming, lead investigative attorney for the Havlish group.
A key figure connecting Iran to the attacks was a senior Hezbollah leader named Imad Mughniyah, who was assassinated in Syria on February 14, 2008. Coincidentally, that was the same month that Mesbahi's identity began to surface. Here is one of the findings of U.S. District Judge George Daniels:
A May 14, 2001 memorandum from inside the Iranian government demonstrating that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, was aware of the impending attacks and instructing intelligence operatives to restrict communications to existing contacts with al Qaeda's Ayman al Zawahiri and Hizballah's Imad Mughniyah. - Documents obtained from German federal prosecutors showing that 9/11 coordinator Ramzi Binalshihb traveled to Iran in January 2001 on his way to Afghanistan to brief Osama bin Laden on the plot's progress. - Evidence from the 9/11 Commission Report that a "senior Hezbollah operative," which the Havlish evidence identifies as Hezbollah terrorist chief Imad Mughniyah, coordinated activities in Saudi Arabia and was present (or his associate) on flights the hijackers took to and from Beirut and Iran.
This is by no means insignificant. It puts Iran on par with 1941 Japan. If Iran was behind the 9/11 attacks, it was an act of war that demands a Declaration of War from the United States Congress.

The importance of Mesbahi's testimony cannot be understated either. In his testimony, he was able to prove that he had prior knowledge of the attacks as a result of contacts he maintained within the Iranian government; he fled Iran when he was told he had been targeted for killing.

Speaking of WWII, the defection of Mesbahi and subsequent assistance received by the United States, may be as significant as Albert Einstein's emigration from Germany in 1933. Interestingly, like Mesbahi, Einstein was on a list to be killed by the Nazi government.

I urge and encourage you to read the 53 page Finding of Facts and Conclusions of Law, signed by Judge George Daniels.

IPT: Hezbollah Presence in Mexico is More Significant than Previously Thought

According to a report from the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT), Hezbollah is working with Mexican drug cartels much more closely than previously thought.

Via IPT:
A series of recent law enforcement actions indicates the depth of Iranian-tied criminal activity in Mexico may be greater than previously known.

In October, a Texas-car salesman was arrested in connection with an Iranian plot to kill Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Washington. Prosecutors say officials in Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps believed they were dealing with a "large and sophisticated" Mexican drug cartel to carry out the hit. A $100,000 down payment on the hit shows the Iranians were comfortable dealing with the cartel representative, who in fact was a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) informant.

Earlier this month, prosecutors in Virginia unsealed an indictment charging a Lebanese man, Ayman Joumaa, with smuggling more than 100 tons of Colombian cocaine with the Los Zetas Mexican drug cartel. Hizballah, an Iranian proxy in Lebanon, "derived financial support from the criminal activities of Joumaa's network," the U.S. Treasury Department claimed earlier this year.
These cases are symptoms of a much larger problem the Obama administration seems more interested facilitating than it does in addressing:
The growing nexus between Hizballah and Mexican drug cartels allows the Iran-backed extremist group to make use of drug cartel transit routes to gain entry into the United States through its porous border with Mexico. Hizballah, in turn, offers Mexican syndicates expertise on smuggling and explosives as well as access to its drug trafficking networks in the Middle East and South Asia.
Iran-backed Hizballah and Mexican drug syndicates share "the same criminal weapons smugglers, document traffickers and transportation experts," former DEA operations chief Michael Braun told the Washington Times. "They rely on the same shadow facilitators. One way or another they're all connected."
Braun also alleged that members of Iran's Quds Force are "commanding and controlling" Hizballah's criminal operations in Latin America.
This adds an entirely new angle to both the immigration debate and the Fast and Furious scandal. Whomever is responsible for signing off on the gun-walking operation that sent thousands of guns to Mexico's drug cartels should have to deal with an entirely new set of charges - aiding and abetting an enemy of the United States.

Earlier this month, a Federal Judge in New York City signed an order stating that Iran and Hezbollah were responsible for the 9/11 attacks, along with al-Qaeda.

From the Declaration of Independence:
He (King George) has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.
I'd say Hezbollah and the Mexican drug cartels qualify as 'savages.'

Federal Judge: Iran Complicit in 9/11

How did THIS fly under the radar? Janice Kephart with the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) filed a report earlier this month that says a Federal judge in New York City signed a document stating that both Iran and Hezbollah have their fingerprints on the 9/11 attacks.

Via CIS:
Federal Judge George Daniels announced in open court in New York City yesterday, in a case filed by families of 9/11 victims, that he was going to be signing an order within 24 hours stating Iran, Hezbollah, and al Qaeda are responsible for the 9/11 attacks. More specifically, the judge found that Iran has provided material support to al Qaeda for the 9/11 attacks. Much of the material witness testimony in the case comes from three Iranian defectors whose affidavits remained under seal during the course of the case.
What we do know publicly is that Iran and Hezbollah not only provided terrorist travel assistance for the 9/11 hijackers to travel through Iran to attend Afghan terror training camps, but also that Hezbollah's most senior operational leader, and chief liaison with Iran, Imad Mughniyah – and other Hezbollah operatives – traveled with the 9/11 hijackers in and out of Lebanon and in and out of Iran after these same hijackers had been issued visas to visit the United States. The purpose of the hijackers' travel into Iran after acquiring U.S. visas was made clear by Iranian defector testimony under seal. The defectors, in turn, were vetted by two CIA veterans who reviewed numerous of hours of tape to determine the credibility of persons who stated they had knowledge of Iran's involvement in 9/11, including those claiming to have participated in planning meetings in Iran with other Iranian officials on executing the terrorist plot that became 9/11. The CIA veterans concluded that the three defectors were both credible and substantial witnesses.
If this can be proven, it would put Iran on par with 1941 Japan and would warrant an immediate declaration of war against Iran.

The other thing this tells us is that our borders need to be sealed without delay.

Read it all.

Al-Qaeda, Hamas, and Hezbollah Flags Flying at Occupy D.C.

Funny, I don't remember reading stories like these during the Tea Parties.

Via Washington Times:
People monitoring the Occupy D.C. movement tell Inside the Ring that the two encampments are fast becoming health hazards. Numerous protesters also recently were sickened with unusual respiratory illnesses.

The major emerging problem for the leftists camped out in tents at McPherson Square and Freedom Plaza is rats. The rodents appear to be moving into the area by the hundreds, and their numbers are increasing daily.

The McPherson camp appears be where more radical leftists are based. An observer familiar with the McPherson camp said one distinctive smell coming from the park area is that of methamphetamine being smoked.

Among the flags being flown by some protesters are those from the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, the Iranian-backed Hezbollah and al Qaeda.
Rats and al-Qaeda congregating together? Can you think of a better real-life metaphor?

Report: Troops Fleeing from Assad in Large Numbers

Whether the left wing whackos want to admit it or not, they have espoused positions and supported movements that have resulted in the ceding of the entire North African region to Islamists. There is significant evidence that Iraq has already fallen to Iranian dominance. Now, if this latest report about troops fleeing Assad is correct, Syria is quite likely the next country to fall and could be the nexus for Turkish / Iranian dominance in the region.

Via Haaretz:
More than 10,000 soldiers have deserted the Syrian army, sources say, with as many as half the conscripts not reporting in the last three call-ups.

According to Western intelligence agencies, even though the top brass is still loyal to President Bashar Assad, lower-level officers are deserting in large numbers, and in some cases, whole units have deserted en masse.

The army is considered the main factor safeguarding Assad's regime, after mass protests began in the south in March and spread throughout the country, inspired by the demonstrations elsewhere in the Arab world.

On Tuesday, at least 73 people were killed in Syria in clashes between the army and opposition, most of them in Homs in the west and Idlib in the northwest. The 73 dead added to the 100 who were killed on Monday, among them 14 soldiers ambushed by opposition forces, human rights groups said.

The groups added that Assad's forces were transferring wounded opposition activists from hospitals to army bases to prevent them from testifying to Arab League observers expected to arrive under a deal struck on Monday.
These developments bolster the predictive claims made by Israel's Defense Minister:
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak predicted this month that the Syrian regime would collapse within weeks. Barak said it was impossible to know who would rule Syria in the future, but in any case it would be a blow to the alliance between Iran and Lebanese Shi'ite group Hezbollah.

Another sign of the Syrian regime's frailty is Hamas' decision to move its headquarters from Damascus, as the Palestinian group that runs the Gaza Strip prepares for a possible post-Assad era.
Geographically, Iran may be in a better position to rule Syria, which would go a long way in explaining Hamas - an extension of the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood - closing up shop in Syria. Then again, much of the resistance in Syria supports the Brotherhood so who ultimately takes control there is clearly not as easy to determine as say, Egypt or the other North African countries, which are lining up behind the Brotherhood.

Video: Comedy Central's Jon Stewart Mocks Man behind Lowe's Decision to Pull Advertising

The Florida Family Association's David Caton appears to have been successful in getting Lowe's Home Improvement to pull its advertising off of The Learning Channel's show, All American Muslim. His argument is being severely twisted by the left-wing media, including Comedy Central's Jon Stewart. In essence, Caton is saying that the show is an inaccurate depiction of Muslim life. In this clip, Stewart mocks Caton profusely by twisting the premise to make it sound like Caton would be happier if TLC played to his allegedly stereotypical view of Muslims.

What Stewart misses - and what Caton has failed to adequately enunciate - is that the Imam featured heavily in the program is a terrorist-supporting extremist. Husham Alhusayni supports Hezbollah and the reality about how he runs his mosque in Dearborn, MI is far different from how he is portrayed in the television program. The argument is not that TLC is refusing to play to stereotypes. The argument - and the truth - is that it is portraying radicals as moderate.

There will be much more on Alhusayni coming out in the next few days.

Explosive: Actor on TLC's 'All American Muslim' Show is Pro-Hezbollah

Lowe's Home Improvement has found itself at the center of quite a bit of controversy by pulling its ads from The Learning Channel's (TLC) television show, All American Muslim but there is perhaps another, more explosive story regarding the program's content. In particular, one of the Imams featured in the show is quite radical.

The Shoebat Foundation has uncovered an interview Shia Imam Husham Al-Hussainy gave to Sean Hannity back in 2007. Al-Hussainy plays a prominent role in the television show:
The brand new TV show featured on Cable TV channel TLC tries to depict Muslims as "ordinary patriotic" Americans but fails to deliver in its very first episode by featuring a radical Shia Imam Husham Al- Husainy. In the first episode the Imam is featured marrying a male convert to Islam to a secular Muslim women. The Imam was exposed on the Sean Hannity Show back in February 2007. I remember listening to the actual interview live in which it was obvious the Imam supports Hezbollah a terror entity listed by the State Department. The Imam hates the the USA and Israel. You can hear in the interview what a nut job the Imam is and his gymnastics and crazy attacks in order to avoid answering simple questions.
As is clearly evident, this imam is beyond unhinged in this exchange. The first clip is the interview on Hannity's radio show in 2007:

Here is a panel on Hannity's television show discussing that interview:

Hezbollah has Base in Mexico, working with Drug Cartels

A local San Diego television station interviewed a former U.S. intelligence agent about what's really going on in Mexico and Hezbollah has been putting down roots there for some time. The group is also working closely with drug cartels. We've seen signs of this when you consider the tunnels and beheadings; both are tactics used in the Middle East. The agent also says that Hezbollah's training is far more advanced than that of al-Qaeda and is on par with the training of the Chinese, Cubans, and Russians. Of course, this adds an entirely new dimension to the Project Gunrunner scandal.

Via Channel 10 News in San Diego:
A terrorist organization whose home base is in the Middle East has established another home base across the border in Mexico.

"They are recognized by many experts as the 'A' team of Muslim terrorist organizations," a former U.S. intelligence agent told 10News.

The former agent, referring to Shi'a Muslim terrorist group Hezbollah, added, "They certainly have had successes in big-ticket bombings."

Some of the group's bombings include the U.S. embassy in Beirut and Israeli embassy in Argentina.

However, the group is now active much closer to San Diego.
"We are looking at 15 or 20 years that Hezbollah has been setting up shop in Mexico," the agent told 10News.
Apparently, over those 15 or 20 years, Hezbollah has been developing strong alliances with the drug cartels:
The agent, who has spent years deep undercover in Mexico, said Hezbollah is partnering with drug organizations, but which ones is not clear at this time.

He told 10News the group receives cartel cash and protection in exchange for Hezbollah expertise.

"From money laundering to firearms training and explosives training," the agent said.
If the ATF and - increasingly likely, the Justice Department - allowed thousands of weapons to 'walk' into Mexico, how much of a stretch is it to consider that some of those guns ended up in the hands of Hezbollah?

Remember, in addition to the Project Gunrunner scandal, our own Defense and State Departments are sending much more powerful weaponry down to Mexico and Latin America that is ending up in the hands of cartels and, dare I say it, Hezbollah?

IDF Discovers Iranian Missiles Disguised as Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

It should be more than obvious why there were those who vehemently opposed turning the Gaza Strip over to the Palestinians in 2005. Anyone with an ounce of rational thought knew that Gaza would descend into a terrorist bastion and that the concession wouldn't satiate the Palestinians; it would provide them another platform from which to attack Israel. That is precisely what's been happening ever since. We can now add the confiscation of C-704 Missiles to the list.

On March 15th, IDF forces discovered six missiles believed to have come from Iran, which had earlier announced it had begun producing models similar to those originating in China. The C-704's were part of a shipment that included 50 tons of 'sophisticated weapons' on a ship that was supposed to contain humanitarian aid. The fact that Egypt is falling to the Muslim Brotherhood only compounds a serious problem.

Disturbing Photo Involving NYU Fellow Who Resigned over Comments about CBS Reporter

In the wake of the terrible news that CBS reporter Lara Logan had been raped after being surrounded by hundreds of Egyptian protesters, Nir Rosen made some extremely insensitive tweets about it. In addition to being a fellow with New York University (NYU), Rosen has also written for the Washington Post. His tweets were so bad that his resignation from NYU was almost immediate. Now there is another aspect to this story that leads to more questions.

On Rosen's facebook page is a picture of his young son donning a t-shirt with a Hezbollah logo on it.

Via the Daily Caller:
It’s been a rough patch for Nir Rosen after some ill-advised remarks posted on Twitter got him in trouble earlier this week pertaining to his response to the news that CBS correspondent Lara Logan had been sexually assaulted and beaten while she was reporting on Egypt’s unrest...

...apparently his social media indiscretions aren’t relegated to just Twitter. An image added to his Facebook page dated Dec. 29, 2009 in the “profile photos” section of his profile, shows a little boy who is apparently his son wearing a yellow T-shirt with the Hezbollah logo.

Hezbollah has been on the U.S. State Department’s list of terrorist organizations since the 1980s.
So what is Rosen's relationship with Hezbollah? Is there one? If there is one, how did he become a fellow at NYU? For those who scoff at the notion that the left and Islam are natural allies, here is yet another in a long line of examples. Those who scoff should do so while looking in the mirror.

VIDEOS: JOHN BRENNAN CALLS JERUSALEM BY ISLAMIC NAME

Assistant to the President and Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism John Brennan has been bending over backwards to ingratiate himself with the Islamic community and he did so yet again this week - on two occasions. First up is his reference to the city of Jerusalem by the name given to it by Muslims. That name is "Al Quds" and refers to what that city was called during the Ottoman Empire.

This is very bad stuff and Brennan very well may be exposing himself as a godless human being.

If that's not enough, how about Brennan's claim that despite Hezbollah being on the list of terrorist organizations - a designation that precludes cooperation or negotiations with the United States - we must reach out to the more moderate elements of that group.
