What do George Zimmerman and Lara Logan share in common?

When CBS reporter Lara Logan was covering the 'Arab Spring' at Tahrir Square last year, she was sexually assaulted by a mob of Muslim men who fed their own anger by shouting at her during the assault, "Jew! Jew!" despite the fact Logan is not Jewish. In the case of George Zimmerman, left wing Hispanic groups are questioning his ethnicity despite the fact that his mother is Peruvian (yes, Peru is an Hispanic country). Denial of this indisputable reality does the same thing identifying Lara Logan as a Jew did for her attackers; it feeds the hate.

Both hate and ideology always seem to trump race when it suits minority groups who claim to place defense of ethnicity at the top of their agendas. The narrative has been set; George Zimmerman is an older white male who pursued a young black male and shot him in cold blood. As we know, however, narratives are more often than not, based on manufactured realities in order to reinforce a paradigm.

In the case of hatred, once it reaches a level where it has been harnessed and directed at one person, rational thought is extinguished.

Before any of this happened, George Zimmerman had identified himself as a "Hispanic" and "Democrat." In both cases, based on what they claim to champion, as well as what they've done in the past, liberal Hispanic groups would normally be siding with Zimmerman - or at least not standing against him.

Via the Daily Caller:
“The Latino community joins the African-American community and other communities in condemning George Zimmerman as what he is – a murderer and a racist,” Roberto Lovato, co-founder of the online Latino advocacy organization Presente.org, told The Daily Caller.

The group is acting on Trayvon’s behalf. Presente.org has joined with Color of Change to petition for the arrest of Martin’s murderer.
How about La Raza?
“NCLR joins allies in the civil rights community in calling for a real investigation for this grievous failure of justice,” president and CEO Janet MurguĂa wrote.
Uh, if an investigation hasn't been completed yet, how can she know there's been a "grievous failure of justice"?

My personal favorite is Lovato's attempt to deny a very basic fact while simultaneously calling for a full investigation. Unless I'm missing something here, Lovato is calling Peru a non-Hispanic country by suggesting that Zimmerman, whose mother is Peruvian, may not be Hispanic.
“His background is not clear,” Lovato explained. “Is he Latino? Is he white? Is he both? Who knows? It’s irrelevant. What’s relevant are his actions, his racist comments, and his cold-blooded killing of an innocent young man.”
While Lovato is correct that Zimmerman's race should be irrelevant, he takes it a step further by actually suggesting that he doesn't know if the man is Hispanic; a Birth Certificate probably wouldn't convince him. If denying a factual aspect to an individual's race helps to feed the hate for that individual, it's apparently an acceptable practice. Is that what we're saying here?

Lovato is on record as saying that Zimmerman is a "racist" (see above). That must necessarily mean that he's conceding there can be racist hispanics. This doesn't fit his paradigm or his agenda. Therefore, he must deny it in order to validate that paradigm. A better example of cognitive dissonance you will not find.
Cognitive Dissonance
noun Psychology .
anxiety that results from simultaneously holding contradictory or otherwise incompatible attitudes, beliefs, or the like, as when one likes a person but disapproves strongly of one of his or her habits.
It didn't matter that Lara Logan was not Jewish and it doesn't matter to left wing Hispanic groups that George Zimmerman IS Hispanic. If denying a reality helps feed one's hate, it will be done.

Mormon church clamping down on access to Database

The list of bizarre Mormon baptisms is indeed long. A Mormon leader is the Republican nominee for president. Coincidentally, the database that houses the names of Mormonism's posthumous baptismal recipients is now apparently on lockdown.

Via the Daily Caller:
Mormon leaders have put up a virtual firewall in their massive genealogical database to block out anyone who attempts to access the names of hundreds of thousands of Holocaust victims the church has agreed not to posthumously baptize.

The move comes amid criticism that the Salt Lake City-based Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints hasn’t done enough to live up to commitments to stop its members worldwide from performing the baptism ritual on Holocaust victims and other notable Jews.

The new system will immediately block church members’ access should they try to seek out names of Holocaust victims or other notable figures that have been flagged as not suitable for proxy baptisms. The church said the move is aimed at ending the practice.

But critics say it merely serves to block anyone from monitoring whether the posthumous baptisms continue.
None other than Helen Radkey is one of those critics.
In recent weeks, researcher Helen Radkey, using confidential Mormon sources who had access to the LDS database, revealed that Mormon temples had posthumously baptized the family of Holocaust survivor and Jewish rights advocate Simon Wiesenthal, Anne Frank, a Jewish teenager forced into hiding in Amsterdam during the Holocaust and killed in a concentration camp, and Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, a Jewish writer who was murdered while on assignment in Pakistan.
Radkey is also not buying what she says the Mormon church is selling when it comes to the reasons for these tighter restrictions.
Radkey said Thursday she had already been blocked from the database under the new system, and was considering how she might continue her efforts toward revealing the ongoing practice.

“I don’t believe for five minutes that they’re going to stop baptizing Jewish Holocaust victims,” Radkey said.
If anyone - and I mean ANYONE - thinks the media won't give Romney an anal exam over these names and this practice, they're very sadly mistaken.

Ann Coulter, are you listening?

Ouch: Stephen Colbert Proxy-Circumcizes Dead Mormons

Tasteless? Yes. Relevant? Certainly. A foreshadowing of what to expect if Mitt Romney becomes the Republican nominee? Not only is it a foreshadowing but it's a small chip of ice from the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

It started with CNN delving into the Mormon practice of baptizing dead people by proxy, in which a living Mormon is baptized and simultaneously baptizes ten or so dead non-Mormons in an act of posthumous conversion. CNN made it news when it did several stories on the outrage of Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel, who understandably had a problem with Holocaust victims appearing on the list.

Most recently, it was learned that Anne Frank appeared on the Mormon list. Here, Stephen Colbert gets quite down and dirty with the Mormon practice and brings out a Jewish intern to posthumously convert several dead Mormons to Judaism. Note during this clip that Colbert plays an excerpt from MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell referring to these proxy baptisms.

Anyone who supports a Romney nomination better wake up because he will be bludgeoned by this issue and he will lose not because of his liberal record, his flip-flops on abortion, his being pigeon-holed as part of the 1%, or RomneyCare. All of that will be dwarfed by what the liberal media will do to him over his religion.

Oh, and Romney has admitted to participating in these proxy, posthumous baptisms.

Via MediaIte:

Question: Has anyone seen Colbert do anything remotely close to this when it comes to Islam?

Oh, Brother: Mormon Church Baptized Anne Frank

Folks, this is not going away. In fact, if Mitt Romney gets the Republican nomination, the liberal media is going to beat, beat, beat, beat, beat on his Mormon religion. Here is yet another taste of how they're going to do it. Last week, CNN interviewed Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel about the latter's displeasure with revelations that Simon Wiesenthal's parents had been put on the Mormon list of deceased Holocaust victims who needed to receive posthumous baptisms into the Mormon faith. Wiesel was also on the list and didn't like it very much.

Now, Anne Frank is on the list.

Via The Independent:
Anne Frank, the famous diarist and Holocaust victim, was put to death on account of her Jewish faith. But earlier this month, she was nonetheless secretly co-opted into the Mormon Church.

So claim researchers investigating the US-based Church’s practice of posthumously baptising dead people - sometimes without the knowledge and almost always against the will of surviving friends and family members.

Ms Frank was “christened” at a Mormon temple in the Dominican Republic, in apparent violation of a pact between the Church and Jewish leaders. A local child, acting as her spiritual proxy, is believed to have been dunked in a font during the ceremony.

Computer records of the event register Ms Frank under her full name, Annelies Marie Frank, and say that she lived from 1929 to 1945. The baptism was “completed” at a temple in Santo Domingo on 18 February.
Of course, no story like this would be complete without at least one reference to Mitt Romney. The Independent has that too:
The practice also sometimes extends to the political arena. It was recently reported that Barack Obama’s late mother, Stanley Ann Durham, had been the subject of a ceremony. And Mitt Romney, the US presidential candidate, is believed to have held one for his dead father-in-law Edward, a staunch atheist.
I contend that this is one reason team Obama is licking its chops to face Romney. Mormonism will be under an assault the likes of which we've never seen and it is likely to torpedo Romney's chances.

Yahoo News has more on this Baptizing the Dead thing. Yes, they're tying it to Romney as well.

Video: All American Muslim Imam Caught on tape Again

Remember this guy? When the controversy over Lowe's pulling its advertising from the TLC program, All American Muslim, we learned that they were justified in light of the fact that this Imam - Husham Alhusayni - has expressed support for Hezbollah and Iran. Now there is video of Alhusayni supporting terrorism and genocide.

Video: Chant at Egyptian Soccer Game - 'One Nation for a New Holocaust'

This video was apparently shot in April of 2011, not long after the removal of Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak. The chant is translated in English to mean, 'One Nation for a New Holocaust.' Interestingly, the banner itself is in English, which would seem to indicate that it was intended to be seen by western eyes.

Amazingly, the left wing media remains silent and not the least bit remorseful for what it has been instrumental in unleashing. Western media, along with every individual who went along with its agenda, to champion the 'Arab Spring,' has blood on its hands.

From MEMRI via Bare Naked Islam:

Alan Dershowitz Targets Ron Paul in Piece about Anti-Semitism going Mainstream Again

Alan Dershowitz has an interesting piece about why anti-Semitism is becoming more mainstream these days. He doesn't let Ron Paul off the hook.

Via Stonegate Institute:
For the first time since the end of World War II, classic anti-Semitic tropes—"the Jews" control the world and are to blame for everything that goes wrong, including the financial crisis; "The Jews killed Christian children in order to use the blood to bake Matzo; the Holocaust never happened—are becoming acceptable and legitimate subjects for academic and political discussion. To understand why these absurd and reprehensible views, once reserved for the racist fringes of academia and politics, are now moving closer to the mainstream, consider the attitudes of two men, one an academic, the other a politician, toward those who express or endorse such bigotry. The academic is Professor Brian Leiter. The politician is Ron Paul.
Later in the piece, Dershowitz expounds on his problem with Ron Paul:
Paul has, according to The New York Times, refused to "disavow" the "support" of "white supremacists, survivalists and anti-Zionists who have rallied behind his candidacy." (These "anti-Zionists" believe that "Zionists"—Jews—control the world, were responsible for the bombing of the Oklahoma federal building, and caused the economic downturn, because "most of the leaders involved in the federal and international banking system are Jews.") He allowed his "Ron Paul survival report" to espouse David Duke type racism and anti-Semitism for years during the 1990s, claiming he was unaware that they were being promoted under his name. Edward H. Crane, the founder of the libertarian CATO Institute, has said, "I wish Ron would condemn those fringe things that float around" his campaign, but he refuses to reject the support of these anti-Semites who form a significant part of his base. The New York Times has criticized Paul for his failure to "convincingly repudiate racist remarks that were published under his name for years—or the enthusiastic support he is getting from racist groups," including those that espouse "anti-Semitism and far right paranoia."

Even now, Paul continues to accept contributions from Holocaust deniers, from those who blame the Jews for everything and from other bigots, thus lending some degree of legitimacy to their hateful views.

When Nazi anti-Semitism began to achieve mainstream legitimacy in Germany and Austria in the 1930's, it was not because Hitler, Goebbels and Goering were espousing it. Their repulsive views had been known for years. It was because non Nazis—especially prominent academics, politicians and artists—were refusing to condemn anti-Semitism and those who espoused it.

It has been said that "all that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Leiter and Paul may or may not be good men, but they are guilty of more than merely doing nothing. They are, by their actions, helping to legitimate the oldest of bigotries. Shame on them!
Paul's camp has been quite bold when it comes to running negative ads that target his Republican opponents. Huntsman, Gingrich, Perry, and Santorum can all attest to it.

If Paul continues to up the ante with negative ad campaigns (the ad against Huntsman was particularly egregious), he might start seeing ads from his opponents that focus on the support he gets from anti-Semitic individuals and groups.

Ron Paul: Jews to Blame for 1993 WTC Bombing?

The 'anti-Israel' sentiment former Ron Paul aide Eric Dondero alleges that his former boss harbors, continues to be corroborated with revelations like this. Paul actually put forth the idea that the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, for which Muslim terrorists were convicted, may have been perpetrated by the Jews.

From TNR via Red State:
In the April 1993 Ron Paul Survival Report, the author—writing in the first person—states, “Whether [the 1993 World Trade Center bombing] was a setup by the Israeli Mossad, as a Jewish friend of mine suspects, or was truly a retaliation by the Islamic fundamentalists, matters little.”
Is it safe to say yet that Ron Paul isn't just courting the Truther vote, he's one of them?

Report: Ron Paul said he would not have Intervened to end Holocaust

On the heels of the statement from former Ron Paul aide, Eric Dondero, that Ron Paul is anti-Israel, this alleged first-hand account of similar sentiment being expressed from Paul seems to bolster the charge.

Via Jeffrey Scott Shapiro at Big Government:
On the evening of Sept. 16, 2009, I was invited to a function for Rand Paul’s U.S. Senate campaign at the headquarters of Americans for Tax Reform.
I had been invited by a friend of mine via Facebook who was a passionate supporter of Ron Paul. Within minutes of arriving, I saw Rep. Paul enter the room, followed by an entourage of several college students.
I immediately walked up to Paul and introduced myself, and Paul smiled at me and shook my hand. I told him that I had always wanted to ask him a question, and that it was a hypothetical question, but I would appreciate his answer nonetheless. Paul smiled, and welcomed the question. At this point there were about 15 people surrounding us, listening.
And so I asked Congressman Paul: if he were President of the United States during World War II, and as president he knew what we now know about the Holocaust, but the Third Reich presented no threat to the U.S., would he have sent American troops to Nazi Germany purely as a moral imperative to save the Jews?
And the Congressman answered:
“No, I wouldn’t. I wouldn’t risk American lives to do that. If someone wants to do that on their own because they want to do that, well, that’s fine, but I wouldn’t do that.”
Shapiro even writes that he contacted Dondero to see if the accounts of each men were consistent. Here is what Shapiro reports Dondero said in response:
“He told me numerous times it was not worth it to intervene to save the Jews in World War II,” Dondero said. “I don’t think that’s because he’s an antisemite. It’s because he’s an extreme isolationist and he’s trying to be 100% principled–he doesn’t think there’s any reason to intervene for human rights or any other reason anywhere on the planet.”
Beyond the fact that Israel is western civilization's eastern front against Islamic fascism, the spiritual element is at the core of passionate support for the nation on the part of Christians and Jews.

So, if Paul would have been in charge, Winston Churchill would have been on his own and the Nazis may have realized their goal.

Paul's warts are showing and they are growing.

Newt calls Palestinians an 'Invented People,' Palestinians Respond

One of the knocks on Newt Gingrich is that he's undisciplined. Consequently, he says and does things that leave people either cheering or scratching their heads. How else can one explain his willingness to sit on a love seat with Nancy Pelosi for an ad on climate change? Recently, Newt referred to the Palestinians as an 'invented people.'

Before getting to the Arab response, here is the video via MediaIte:

Apparently, the Palestinians consider Newt a racist after those comments.

Via CNN:
Senior Palestinian leaders on Saturday strongly criticized comments by Republican presidential frontrunner Newt Gingrich that the Palestinians are an "invented" people, calling the comments ignorant and racist.

Top Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erakat said the Gingrich remark was "the most racist statement I've ever seen."

Erakat, who has negotiated in talks with Israel and the United States, said the remarks show "how really despicable things can get" in American politics.

"Such thinking should be an alarm and concern for the world," Erakat said.
Gingrich made the comments in an interview that aired Friday with The Jewish Channel, a U.S. cable channel.
Apparently, in the minds of the Palestinian leadership, hating the Jews is not racist.

Confirmed: Hillary Clinton Lives in Alternate Universe

There is a difference between 'Diplomacy-speak' and sheer insanity. Hillary Clinton has crossed that line. In this one instance, her rhetoric is so diametrically out of phase with reality that we are left to conclude that either a.) she's an agent of America's enemies, b.) she's insane, or c.) she lives in an alternate universe. Ironically, giving her the benefit of the doubt, which I am doing in this case, requires going with the third option.

Via AFP:
Israeli ministers reacted angrily on Sunday after local media quoted U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as saying she feared for the future of Israel’s democracy and the rights of women in the Jewish state.
Clinton’s remarks, reportedly made Saturday behind closed doors at the Saban Forum in Washington, made headlines in most Israeli newspapers, which reported them without explaining how they obtained the comments.
Top-selling Yediot Aharonot said Clinton had expressed concern about a slew of “anti-democratic” bills proposed by right-wing members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
And the newspaper said Clinton had described shock at hearing that some buses in Jerusalem were gender segregated and some religious Israeli soldiers refused to attend events where women would sing.
The Hitler-loving Muslim Brotherhood (indisputable facts are not subject to Godwin's Law) is rising to power all across the Middle East as a direct result of policies endorsed by Hillary Clinton. While she complains of gender segregation on buses, agents of the Ikhwan are ushering in Sharia Law, which persecutes women and treats them as less than human.

Then again, Hillary's top aide for eight years was none other than Huma Abedin, whose family has extensive ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Perhaps Hillary has been brainwashed.

Arab Spring Rally: 'Kill All Jews'

For those who doubt that Obama is against Israel, consider the fact that his administration called for the removal of Hosni Mubarak. Another fact is that a Muslim Brotherhood protest at which those in attendance vowed to 'one day kill all Jews' would not have been allowed to happen under Mubarak. Now that Mubarak is gone? No problem.

Via Ynet News:
A Muslim Brotherhood rally in Cairo's most prominent mosque Friday turned into a venomous anti-Israel protest, with attendants vowing to "one day kill all Jews."
Some 5,000 people joined the rally, called to promote the "battle against Jerusalem's Judaization." The event coincided with the anniversary of the United Nations' partition plan in 1947, which called for the establishment of a Jewish state.
However, most worshippers who prayed at the mosque Friday quickly left it before the Muslim Brotherhood's rally got underway. A group spokesman urged attendants to remain for the protest, asking them not to create a bad impression for the media by leaving.
It would seem that the Muslim Brotherhood is a pretty powerful bunch and can intimidate others into doing their will. Hmmmmm, haven't many of us on the right been saying this very thing? I digress.
Speakers at the event delivered impassioned, hateful speeches against Israel, slamming the "Zionist occupiers" and the "treacherous Jews." Upon leaving the rally, worshippers were given small flags, with Egypt's flag on one side and the Palestinian flag on the other, as well as maps of Jerusalem's Old City detailing where "Zionists are aiming to change Jerusalem's Muslim character."
Propaganda material ahead of Egypt's parliamentary elections was also handed out at the site.
Spiritual leader Dr. Ahmed al-Tayeb charged in his speech that to this day Jews everywhere in the world are seeking to prevent Islamic and Egyptian unity.
"In order to build Egypt, we must be one. Politics is insufficient. Faith in Allah is the basis for everything," he said. "The al-Aqsa Mosque is currently under an offensive by the Jews…we shall not allow the Zionists to Judaize al-Quds (Jerusalem.) We are telling Israel and Europe that we shall not allow even one stone to be moved there."
So, according to this speaker, Islam is a religion and a state. Where have I heard that before? It certainly wasn't from the mainstream media.

Hypothetically, if the Muslim Brotherhood got its wish and there were no more Jews, does anyone think their hatred would go away?

Anthony Weiner's Old Seat Could go Republican Tomorrow

This wasn't supposed to happen. If you thought the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts was big, this one might just trump it. Former congressman Anthony Weiner (D-NY) had near unanimous support in his district. He probably could have died of old age while in office. In the wake of his resignation, there is a special election tomorrow for that seat. The Republican's name is Bob Turner and he is leading his Democrat opponent by up to 6 points in multiple polls. That's outside the margin of error. Perhaps the most shocking aspect to this election is Jewish support for Turner; that support is reportedly a repudiation of Obama's policies with respect to Israel.

Via Daily Caller:
Two days before the special election in New York’s 9th Congressional District, yet another poll confirms that Bob Turner, the Republican, holds an improbable lead in the heavily Democratic district.

A Public Policy Polling poll released Sunday night found Turner leading his Democratic opponent, David Weprin, by a 47–41 margin. A Siena poll released last week found Turner leading by the same split, 50 to 44 percent.

Weprin and Turner are competing to fill the House seat vacated by former Congressman Anthony Weiner.

Turner has a strong lead with independent voters, 58 percent of whom say they will vote for him. Just 26 percent plan to vote for Weprin. Turner also has the majority of the Jewish vote, a demographic that makes up 36 percent of the district according to PPP’s results. Fifty-six percent of Jews say they will vote for Turner, while 39 percent say they have chosen Weprin.

The Turner campaign has claimed that Tuesday’s election will be a referendum on Obama’s presidency, and specifically on his policies relating to Israel.
Barack Obama is learning what a rigid leftwing ideology will get you. The Arab spring his administration was instrumental in facilitating, coupled with calling for Israel to return to its 1967 borders one day prior to Benjamin Netanyahu's arrival in Washington, likely contributed to this turn of events. The sustained 'I hate you' look he gave Netanyahu in the Oval Office didn't help much either.

Democrats can typically count on about 80% of the Jewish vote. In light of these numbers in Weiner's old district, New York Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer, who relies heavily on the Jewish vote, has got to be taking notice of this development.

More Arab Spring Fruit in Egypt - Israeli Ambassador Threatened with Death unless he Leaves

Remember, the mainstream media in the United States was instrumental in the success of the ouster of Hosni Mubarak. As such, the violent sexual assault of CBS reporter Lara Logan is on their hands; the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood is on their plate; and the subsequent threats to Israel falls in their lap too. It is beyond inexplicable that our media - to include much of the conservative media - does not seem to grasp the Muslim Brotherhood threat to the world.

Islamic protesters in front of the Israeli embassy in Cairo are carrying signs of swastikas with the words, 'the gas chambers are ready.' Now we have the Brotherhood threatening to kill Israeli's ambassador to Egypt unless he leaves the country.

Via INN:
The Muslim Brotherhood has threatend to kill Israel's ambassador to Cairo if he does not leave the country. The radical Muslim group has been leading daily protests at the Israeli embassy in Cairo, demanding the expulsion of the envoy and a break in relations between Egypt and Israel.

Hundreds of demonstrators surrounded the embassy Monday as armored military and police officers prevented them from repeating Saturday night’s incident when rioters broke down the gate. One firebomb smashed through a front window of the embassy’s office.

One anti-Zionist, now referred to as ”Spiderman,” became an instant hero throughout Egypt by scaling the multi-story wall and replacing the Israeli flag with one of Egypt. The Israeli flag was burned.
Meanwhile, the mainstream media is absent on this story. I'm sorry to say that the media in the United States has become as anti-Semitic as Europe did before WWII.

Nazis Surface in Egypt, Threaten Israeli Embassy

Alternate headlines: Nazis Surface in Egypt posed as Islamists; Islamists Surface in Egypt posed as Nazis; Islamists who share Nazis Hatred for the Jews, Channel Hitler's henchmen outside Israeli Embassy. You get the point. The story is that Islamists in Egypt are organizing outside the Israeli embassy with swastikas and signs telling those inside that 'the gas chambers are ready.' I don't know how much evidence or how many examples we need in order to wake people up to the Islamic threat and what it really is. For crying out loud, the Obama administration and by extension - the United States - is helping the Muslim Brotherhood rise to power in the Middle East.

More at Atlas Shrugs:
More of the putrid, fetid blossoms of the Obama supported Islamic spring. Of course, we knew this. Atlas called it as soon as the Muslim Brotherhood revolution began to unfold began in January. The Islamic supremacists and their leftwing useful idiots couldn't wait to oust the first (and only) Muslim country to sign a peace accord with Israel. Mubarak, America's most reliable Muslim ally for 30 years, was thrown under the bus by the Muslim Brotherhood stooge in the White House. Has the leftwing media who propagandized this horror as all sweetness and light corrected the record? Are they capable of picking up a bucket of water and making even so much as a feeble attempt to help put the fire that they helped start and spread? These moral cowards are incapable of humanity.
Why is this such a surprise to so many? The disgusting magic of the devil is that he deceives while leaving very clear signs all along the way that he's doing it.

LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL SUBMITS

If this isn't a glaring case of Dhimmitude, please submit whatever you think trumps it. Los Angeles City Council has apparently decided that acts of violence against Muslims there are so rampant that a resolution needed to be passed to head off such conditions as 'Islamophobia' among its populace. However, when you run the numbers, Muslims - by far and away - suffer the fewest number of religious attacks. You get one guess as to what group DOES suffer the most hate crimes based on religion.

Via the Los Angeles Daily News:
WITHOUT serious debate or examination, the Los Angeles City Council recently passed a resolution that opposes "Islamophobia" and "repudiates" random acts of violence against Muslims.

This admittedly ceremonial resolution apparently accepts the premise that residents of the city commit acts of hate against Muslims so often that it warrants an official resolution from city leaders condemning and repudiating these acts. Is this really the case?

According to the latest hate crime report from the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations, 88 percent of all religiously based hate crimes in 2009 were against Jews. Hate crimes that targeted Muslims (3 percent) ranked slightly above those directed at Scientologists (1 percent). In fact, the commission found that attacks against Christians (8 percent) outnumbered attacks against Muslims.

In any case, the actual number of reported hate crimes based on religion is quite small. In a county that has more than 10 million highly diverse residents, only a total of 131 crimes based on religion took place in all of 2009. Of course, this in no way takes away from the emotional or physical harm that each and every one of these attacks causes.
For those interested in running the numbers, 3% of 131 = 3.93 Muslims in Los Angeles County were victims of hate crimes based on religion in 2009. Jews suffered approximately 115 such attacks yet are apparently still waiting for that resolution.

Pathetic.

VIDEO: ROCK-THROWING PALESTINIAN BOY HIT BY CAR

Frankly, I can't blame the driver for hitting this kid. What would YOU do if someone was running toward you, poised to throw a rock at you while several other people were actually THROWING rocks at you? I'd keep moving forward, not to intentionally hit the kid but because it's the only option. How about the hit and run angle? Uh, I'd keep going too. If these thugs are throwing rocks at a car because the driver is a Jew, what would they do if the driver got out to tend to one of the rock-throwers he injured?

Here's a thought. How about the kid's parents take some responsibility for not teaching the kid it's a bad idea to go mano-a-mano with a car armed with nothing but a rock?

This is nothing more than Pallywood gone wrong.

GEERT WILDERS SAYS JORDAN SHOULD BE PALESTINE

Dutch politician Geert Wilders continues to raise his game as others refuse to join him, apparently unable to read the tea leaves resulting from Wilders' huge gains in the recent June 9th elections in The Netherlands. Israel is almost constantly on defense against the collective arab world, which refers to Israel as occupied land. That occupied land belongs to the Palestinians and should be called 'Palestine' according to them. As a consequence, Israel is constantly trying to defend itself by having to explain why it should be called 'Israel'.

Enter Geert Wilders, who says Jordan should be re-named 'Palestine' and that Palestinians can move. Via Ynet:
"Jordan is Palestine," said Wilders, who heads the third-largest party in Holland. "Changing its name to Palestine will end the conflict in the Middle East and provide the Palestinians with an alternate homeland."

Wilders added that Israel deserved a special status in the Dutch government because it was fighting for Jerusalem in its name.

"If Jerusalem falls into the hands of the Muslims, Athens and Rome will be next. Thus, Jerusalem is the main front protecting the West. It is not a conflict over territory but rather an ideological battle, between the mentality of the liberated West and the ideology of Islamic barbarism," he said.
Predictably, Jordan didn't take kindly to Wilders' assertions, neither did the Saudis. The west is in desperate need of leaders like Wilders.

The phrase, "Lead, follow, or get out of the way" could not be more appropriate.

VIDEO: LIBERAL RABBI RE-EVALUATING POSITION

I am literally fascinated when I see someone make a strong ideological change. Frankly, I'm almost equally fascinated that liberals don't do more of it. I went through a similar shift when Bruce Springsteen came out of the closet as a hardcore liberal in support of John Kerry. I used to be one of his biggest fans. After 2004, I can't even stand to hear any of his songs.

The Rabbi who shot video of Helen Thomas telling Jews to "get the hell out of Palestine" appears to be going through a similar process. Watch as he tells CNN's Howard Kurtz that he basically needs to re-evaluate his entire belief system. In this video, Rabbi David Nesenoff admits to being a New York liberal who voted for Obama. He then goes on to say he's re-evaluating his positions.

It's not an easy thing to do when you've invested so much of your energy building a set of beliefs and ideological views that are all called into question at once.

Going through this process with sincere intellectual honesty is quite liberating once you come out on the other side.

AUDIO: ROSIE O'DONNELL DEFENDS HELEN THOMAS

The unmasking of the left continues. It is truly amazing to watch liberal arguments play out. While discussing Helen Thomas' comments about Jews needing to go back to Germany and Poland, giving up their country to Palestinians, Rosie O'Donnell wonders aloud, 'what's the problem with that?' Helen Thomas said nothing wrong, right? At that point, O'Donnell makes the argument - I guess - that it's safe to go back to Germany and Poland because there are no more ovens. I guess the underlying problem of anti-semitism in Europe is a long gone distant memory as well, right Rosie?

Lost on O'Donnell is the fact that Israel has a documented history of its existence in the land she wants them to give up. It starts in the Book of Genesis. Also lost on this whack job is that Israel was on the winning side of WWII and was granted statehood as a result. Using Rosie's logic, she should leave the United States and go back to Ireland. Come to think of it.....

via Radio Equalizer:

Only one day earlier, Rosie called for an Executive Order to seize the assets of British Petroleum. So she's an anti-semitic socialist. Rosie, thanks for letting us know who you are. On one level, I have a newfound respect for you. We now know where you stand.
