The Truth about the shooting of Democratic Congresswoman on Joe Biden Gun Control task force

In 1978, Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) was a legal aid to Rep. Leo Ryan (D-CA), the only U.S. Congressman to be murdered in the line of duty. In 2011, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) almost became the second. Speier barely survived the trip to Jonestown, where an insane preacher had moved his insane Temple, but not before she herself had been shot five times.

Incredibly, not only is she still a Democrat but the Joe Biden gun control squad appears to be enlisting her help in developing a plan of action, as she is one of twelve Democratic congressmen who make up the House Democrat Task Force on Gun Violence. The group met with Biden yesterday.

Make no mistake. Speier's presence on that Task Force has to do with her very real and personal history when it comes to being on the wrong end of a gun. After the meeting, CNN interviewed Speier and asked her about her experience at Jonestown in 1978 (beginning at the 2:00 mark). Conspicuously absent from the exchange is any mention of Jones' ideology and who he was in bed with - the Democratic Party. Jones was a Marxist. More on his relationship with very prominent Democrats after the video.

Jim Jones was a professed Marxist and moved up through the ranks of political power in San Francisco with the aid and assistance of several Democrats. He helped Democratic Mayor George Moscone get elected. In fact, through the use of Community Organizing, Jones and his Temple were very much responsible for Moscone's victory. As a result, Moscone rewarded Jones with a seat on the San Francisco Housing Authority, which oversaw more than $14 million, and later enlisted the help of then California State Assemblyman Willie Brown (D) to introduce legislation that would ensure Jones would become chairman.

Ralph Nader has a little known legacy of disgrace when it comes to Jim Jones as well. An extremely terrified couple who had defected from Jones' cult reached out to Nader for help, in confidence. He betrayed them. Their plea for assistance found its way from Nader to Jones.

Jones also ingratiated himself with other Democrats like then Lieutenant Governor Mervyn Dymally and Los Angeles Mayor Tom Bradley, who once said of Jones:

"I am really pleased and inspired by what I have seen. Here is truly a man - Pastor Jim Jones - who is touched by God."

How about then Democratic Governor Jerry Brown (yes, the one who is in office today)? Brown made several visits to Jones' Temple and clearly turned a blind eye to what was going on. Jones also rubbed elbows with Rosalyn Carter and Walter Mondale (see video below). Speaking of that video, note how Jones boasts about the fact that he was a Marxist (Obama has a history that very much involves studying Marxism and associating with Marxists). Also keep in mind how more than 900 people died in Jonestown; Jones was responsible but it wasn't done with guns:



In a book entitled, Six Years With God, written by Jeannie Mills (a pseudonym), the woman who was betrayed by Nader and ultimately lost her life, wrote:

"Just a few doors down the street from the San Francisco temple the Black Muslims had their temple. Jim made strong overtures of friendship to this strong group, even sending large contingencies of our membership to attend their services, to which they responded by sending their members to our services."

Two more ironic realities about Jim Jones that should raise bold red flags with Speier...

Jones attempted to buy favorable California media coverage - to some degree, successfully - with payoffs labeled as "commendation" awards to show support for the first amendment. Laughable, isn't it? Not surprisingly, the Los Angeles Times and the San Francisco Chronicle received the largest amounts. Eerily salient today, isn't it?

The other reality the mainstream media will not touch is the fact that just prior to the mass murder / suicide in Jonestown, the group bequeathed all of its assets to the Soviet Union.

I cover all of this (and more) in much greater detail in Chapter five of Unsung Davids: Ten Men who Battled Goliath without Glory. The Unsung David in that chapter is a man named David Conn.

Instead of playing defense, the Republican leadership should be exposing the truth behind the groups and individuals responsible for Speier's shooting. In fact, it was the Democratic Party that enabled Jim Jones to acquire the power he did.

That Speier is still a Democrat defies any and all logic, unless one believes that Stockholm Syndrome is a real condition.

Parting thought: In an interview Speier gave last year, she talked about how many people approached her delegation in 1978 to SECRETLY ask for escape from Jonestown. If Speier were honest, would she ask for escape from the Democratic Party?

Occupy Oakland Protesters Call City's Bluff, Don't Leave, City Blinks

These Occupy Wall Street protests in just about every US city are becoming rat-infested mini-pits of hell to varying degrees. Whether rapes, sexual assaults, drug use, threats, lack of sanitation (rat and human feces), some of these little tent cities have it all; some are worse than others. All have their problems. Occupy Oakland seems to be among the most degenerate. A television reporter allegedly had her life threatened, another reporter had his arm bitten by a protester's dog, and at some point, the protesters prevented any reporters from entering their sub-human living quarters.

In fact, Occupy Oakland got so bad that the city issued protesters an eviction notice that was to be honored by 10pm local time on October 21st. By 11pm, protesters had not been removed and there was no sign of police.

Hundreds of anti-Wall Street protesters defied a city order late Friday to leave their campsite at a plaza outside Oakland's City Hall.

The city had given the Occupy Oakland demonstrators an ultimatum to be out by 10 p.m. PDT Friday, but there were no signs of them leaving well after that hour.

Earlier in the day, city spokeswoman Karen Boyd said that the city gave official notice that the protesters do not have permission to remain overnight and that their encampment is breaking the law.

Many protesters said they have no intentions of leaving even though the city announced Thursday that after nearly two weeks it can no longer uphold public health and safety at the site.

Boyd says she expects the protesters to comply and would not comment on what steps the city would take toward enforcing of the law.

There was no sign of police presence immediately after 10 p.m. Friday.

Several cities in the United States and around the world have arrested anti-Wall Street protesters who have failed to leave public areas.

"I'm not going anywhere. They're going to have to come and take me away," said Christopher Dunlap, 23, who said he has been on the City Hall lawn since the first day of the encampment.

While the city will no longer allow protesters to stay overnight at the site, they can demonstrate there from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Boyd said.

Earlier Friday, protester Gerry Johnson, 55, who said he has been at the site for more than a week said it's unlikely his fellow demonstrators will leave.

"I'm trying to keep calm," Johnson said. "We're here for a good cause. I think we'll stand our ground."

Since the protesters, in general, haven't been all that good at enunciating any coherent reason for protesting, perhaps we can deduce that Mr. Johnson thinks breeding rats is a good cause.

Later, early Saturday morning, protesters seemed to mockingly wave at a passing police car.

It will be interesting to see if the city actually stands behind its threat or stands down. If it does the latter, it might be time for the National Guard to step in. Governor Jerry Brown is sure to....... oh, never mind.

NOW JUMPS ON THE 'MEG WHITMAN IS A WHORE' BANDWAGON

Talk about doubling down. The National Organization for Women (NOW) has apparently decided it's time to just rip its mask completely off. It was bad enough that NOW endorsed Jerry Brown for governor one day after it was learned that an associate of his called his Republican opponent Meg Whitman a 'whore.' While giving Brown's campaign a pass by saying that the next person who calls a woman a 'whore' should be fired, NOW president Terry O'Neil was apparently backing that the next time the word was used to describe a woman, it would be hurled by a conservative or Republican.

Not only would that have been a bet that failed but the next person to use the word was the California president of NOW, Parry Bellasalma! What's even more amazing is that Bellasalma directed the slur at Meg Whitman.Talking Points Memo had the following to say about National President O'Neil:

She might want to have a talk with California NOW President Parry Bellasalma, who today told TPM in response to a question that "Meg Whitman could be described as 'a political whore.' Yes, that's an accurate statement."

NOW ENDORSES BROWN AFTER HIS AID CALLS WHITMAN 'WHORE'

Wrap your head around this one. On October 7th, a recording captured an associate of Democrat candidate for Governor of California Jerry Brown calling his female opponent, Meg Whitman a 'whore' and one day later, the National Organization for Women (NOW) endorses Jerry Brown's candidacy. A more glistening and steaming pile of cow dung hypocrisy you will never find. If this scenario isn't proof positive that NOW has no interest in defending women but instead, furthering an agenda, those who don't see it (some of which are women by the way), are brain dead.

Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a "whore." Coincidence? You be the judge.

Whitman's campaign pounced after the audio was made public, sending out a release Thursday night from spokeswoman Sarah Pompei calling the use of the term "an insult to both Meg Whitman and to the women of California. This is an appalling and unforgivable smear against Meg Whitman. At the very least Mr. Brown tacitly approved this despicable slur and he himself may have used the term at least once on this recording."

As if on cue, Brown's campaign Friday released the endorsement from NOW championing Brown's record on women's rights. "As Governor, Mayor, and Attorney General, Jerry Brown has promoted and defended women’s rights,” said California NOW President Patty Bellasalma.

Perhaps Christine O'Donnell can now add NOW President Patty Bellasalma to her list of people to quote.

AUDIO: JERRY BROWN ASSOCIATE RECORDED CALLING MEG WHITMAN A 'WHORE'

Some time in September, California Attorney General / Gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown (D) called union official, Scott Rate to ask for his endorsement. Brown got Rate's voicemail and left what was obviously an urgent message regarding the need for the endorsement. When finished, Brown hung up the phone - or so he thought. In addition to the voicemail itself being recorded, so was an ensuing conversation between Brown and his associates.

In a private conversation that was inadvertently taped by a voicemail machine, an associate of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown can be heard referring to his Republican opponent Meg Whitman as a “whore” for cutting a deal protecting law enforcement pensions as the two candidates competed for police endorsements.

The comment came after Brown called the Los Angeles Police Protective League in early September to ask for its endorsement. He left a voicemail message for Scott Rate, a union official. Brown apparently believed he had hung up the phone, but the connection remained intact and the voice mail machine captured an ensuing conversation between Brown and his aides.

VIDEO: JERRY BROWN'S TEABAGGER MOMENT

As for the most despicable portion of this clip, California Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Jerry Brown calls the Tea Party movement 'teabaggers' without so much as batting an eye. It's obviously part of his vernacular at this point. However, his most absurd claim is that Wall Street is singlehandedly responsible for destroying $11 Trillion of wealth. These people are really something else. Brown was in bed with ACORN and protected them so overtly, he couldn't deny it. Recorded conversations proved this man should be prosecuted on obstruction charges.

Instead, he's running for Governor. Until an interviewer challenges Brown on what he knew about Jim Jones when he was previously the Governor of California, each outlet that does interview Brown is derelict to the point of nearly criminal conduct. Brown visited Jones' Temple more than once and knew much more than he's ever been willing to reveal.

As a Governor in the 1970's who looked the other way, Brown has blood on his hands. The fact that he's even being remotely considered for any public office is beyond egregious.

ACORN DOC DUMP: JERRY BROWN TUGGIN HIS COLLAR

Breitbart's Big Government website - along with P.I. Derrick Roach, who scarfed up 20,000 documents from the dumpster behind ACORN's San Diego office - is making life quite uncomfortable for Jerry Brown. First things first. BG posted a link to an interview Jerry Brown had on KABC on Tuesday, November 24th in which the host - Peter Tilden, asked him to comment on Roach's recovery of all of these documents.

As Charles Krauthammer said when referring to Eric Holder's attempt at explaining why Khalid Sheikh Mohammad was being tried as a civilian in NYC, Brown was incoherent. Here is THE LINK to the BG page that has the audio from the interview.

BG makes an excellent point about Brown's reaction to the 20,000 documents. Instead of viewing it as a boon to his investigation, thereby making it easier, Brown appears almost distraught by the fact that all of this evidence on ACORN has been exposed.

Considering this document dump occurred just a few days after the Attorney General had announced an investigation of this very same office, we anticipated his righteous anger at this obvious afront to the integrity of his investigation and the people of California’s right to investigate all evidence pertaining to the operations of ACORN.

Quite curious for an Attorney General to respond that way - unless you're Governor Moonbeam I guess.

Be sure to check out the latest documents Roach has posted on BIG GOVERNMENT. Jerry Brown is finding himself in quite the conundrum. In addition to being implicated by an audio tape that allegedly has the voice of ACORN California leader David Lagstein bragging that Brown's investigation of ACORN will find fault with the filmmakers and not ACORN - based on Lagstein's claim that he had access to communications from Brown's office. As Attorney General, Brown's troubles relative to that audio recording have increased tremendously as a result of these 20,000 documents retrieved from the ACORN dumpster.

Jim Jones used Community Organizing style tactics to bully the San Francisco Examiner and Jerry Brown seems to have an unhealthy affinity for ACORN.

CALIFORNIA ACORN SAGA CARRYING NEW STENCH

Derrick Roach, writing for the Big Government website, shines the light on an entirely new dimension within the ACORN California scandal. To re-cap, On October 1st, California Attorney General Jerry Brown announced that he was launching an investigation into ACORN on the heels of the undercover videos by James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles. Last Week, we learned that one of ACORN's lead Organizers, David Lagstein, was caught on audio tape saying things about Jerry Brown that, if true, would mean Attorney General Brown would be guilty of pre-determining the outcome of an investigation.

Here is the link to that AUDIO. The recording of Lagstein allegedly took place on October 15th.

Now back to Roach's piece. Days before Brown was to arrive at the ACORN office in San Diego as part of his "investigation", the office engaged in a massive DOCUMENT DUMP. Roach reports that the San Diego office, just days before Brown's arrival grabbed documents and ran for the dumpster on October 9th:

Shockingly, we now learn that the ACORN office in National City (San Diego County) engaged in a massive document dump on the evening of October 9th, containing thousands upon thousands of sensitive documents, just days prior to the Attorney General’s visit.

BigGovernment.com has learned that not only did this document dump occur, but the documents in question were irresponsibly and brazenly dumped in a public dumpster, without considering laws and regulations as to how sensitive information should be treated.

I am a local licensed private investigator. I took it upon myself to keep an eye on what the local ACORN office was up to, in light of the release of the undercover videos. I retrieved these documents from the public dumpster.

Aside from the obvious irony of a man named "Roach" dumpster diving, ACORN and Jerry Brown are likely the ones to start running because the light switch just went on.

Not only does it appear that ACORN attempted to destroy evidence prior to an investigation but they did so in an incredibly irresponsible way, leaving social security numbers and highly sensitive data just lying around - not sure but that should also be a crime. Check it out. Here are some of items found by Roach:

It would seem that Brown may have some more unpleasant facts beside the O'Keefe / Giles videos. Quoting Roach:

The laws governing how sensitive, personal information such as social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, immigration records, tax returns, etc. must be treated are very stringent, and thus it seems as if ACORN may have committed serious violations in that department alone, with thousands upon thousands of potential plaintiffs.

Uh, oh Jerry Brown.

Go figure. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder seems more worried about trying Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in New York City than in helping California Attorney General Jerry Brown investigate ACORN. Based on the alleged audio recordings from October 15th that could implicate Brown in obstruction of Justice and fraud and now a document dump just prior to Brown's visit, Holder is likely derelict by not investigating both Brown and ACORN.

Based on Holder's resume, don't hold your breath.

JERRY BROWN'S BEHAVIOR IS TO BE EXPECTED

Before I get to Matthew Vadum's article, let me introduce the name David Conn. I have had multiple conversations with him and his story is fascinating. In 1969, Conn was approached by two people he knew were members of Jim Jones' cult in the Bay area. One of those people thought Jim Jones was the greatest thing since sliced bread (Insert family feud buzzer here) and the other was extremely troubled by what Jones was doing. This prompted Conn to investigate further.

For years, Conn ended up doing the investigative journalism that true journalists wouldn't do. Jones may have been certifiable but he was also politically connected and very powerful. According to Conn, "If you were in politics, you didn't get very far unless you knew Jim Jones." Conn was a blogger without a computer or internet access. He attempted several times to inform the authorities and the media. Not until 1972 did a reporter take note, writing 8 articles using Conn as his primary source. That reporter's name was Lester Kinsolving and he wrote for the San Francisco Examiner. After four Kinsolving articles appeared in the Examiner in 1972, Jones sent his henchmen down to the Examiner in true Community Organizing style (according to Conn) and bullied that paper into backing off. Ultimately, that's exactly what they did and the four additional articles on Jones were never published by the Examiner (although yours truly has access to them).

In the summer of 1977, about a year and a half prior to the Jonestown massacre on November 18th, 1978, Conn met with Dennis Banks and Lehman Brightman in the middle of the night to warn them both of how their affiliation with Jim Jones could damage the American Indian movement (they were both American Indians). Unbeknownst to Conn, both were closer to Jones than he thought. Brightman ended up blowing Conn's cover and phoned Jones. Here is a LINK to the transcript of that call (scroll to Part 4).

At the time, Jim Jones was the Chairman of the Housing Commission. According to Conn, the morning after his meeting with Banks and Brightman, Jones collapsed while leading an HC meeting and had to be whisked away via ambulance. "I still have my suspicions that Jones may have been present personally in the house when I had that meeting with Banks and Brightman," says Conn.

In any event, after Conn's cover had been blown, the media began showing interest in the story and Jones began re-locating his cult to Guyana. Conn believes there were two things that spooked Jones. The first was that Conn mentioned he had been in touch with a Treasury agent during his meeting with Banks and Brightman. In reality, he had been in touch with an ATF agent but Conn believes Jones grew very concerned that the IRS was after him. The other thing Conn believes bothered Jones immensely was the realization that someone had been onto him for that long without his knowledge. "Jones was incredibly narcissistic and a control freak," says Conn. "I believe to this day that the fact that someone knew what he was up to for that long without his knowledge and / or ability to control the situation disturbed him to a great degree."

So where does Jerry Brown come in? In 1977, Jerry Brown was the Governor of California and Conn is convinced that he looked the other way when it came to Jones. "There is no way Jerry Brown got to where he is," says Conn, "without knowing what kind of person Jim Jones was. I know for a fact that Brown made multiple visits to Jones' temple."

On top of all this, if Brown was truly interested in legitimately pursuing Jones, all he had to do was refer to or contact the San Francisco Examiner.

Onto Vadum's article in the AMERICAN SPECTATOR. Speaking of Community Organizing, Brown has always been a big fan.

The New Left crusader known as Governor Moonbeam when he was the state's chief executive from 1975 to 1983 has had close ties to the group for years, according to a former ACORN official.

Remember what Conn said about Jones sending his henchmen (community organizers) down to the offices of the San Francisco Examiner in 1972 to bully the newspaper into backing off.

Now, in 2009, we're learning that there is a very real possibility that Jerry Brown may be setting a pre-determined outcome in his ACORN investigation relative to James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles exposing them as enablers of prostitution and the sex slave trade.

Adding to Brown's woes, ACORN's lead organizer in San Diego, David Lagstein, was caught on tape suggesting Brown's investigation was a sham.

"The attorney general is a political animal as well," Lagstein told a Democratic gathering last month. "Every bit of communication we've had with [Brown's office] has suggested that fault will be found with the people that did the video and not with ACORN."

Brown's office was also revealed to have recorded reporters without their consent, an apparent violation of state law.
Is it possible that O'Keefe and Giles could be punished for unauthorized recording while the attorney general's former flak, Scott Gerber, who taped reporters, gets off scot-free?

Not to use an old American Indian metaphor but there appears to be smoke signals being sent from, of all places, San Francisco.

AUDIO: ANOTHER ACORN SHOE DROPS

Heads should seriously roll if there is even a modicum of truth to this one. California Attorney General Jerry Brown is responsible for investigating ACORN. However, this audio - allegedly from a restaurant in San Diego - captures a man named David Lagstein, who is a local ACORN spokesman in California, laying out a scenario in which Brown's investigation is basically rigged, with Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe in Brown's crosshairs instead of the despicable behavior they uncovered.

Once again, it is Breitbart's BIG GOVERNMENT website that exposes the latest scandal.

Lagstein notes that the Attorney General is a “political animal.” He states that he has been in communication with Brown’s office and assures the crowd that “the fault WILL be found with the people that did the video — not ACORN.”

If that’s true, then the fix is in and Brown’s investigation is just a scam on the public. But, targeting the filmmakers will also put Brown’s office in an especially difficult position. Just today, we learn that one of Jerry Brown’s chief aides secretly recorded phone conversations with at least 5 reporters. We’ll see if Brown believes the law applies to his staff as well as the young filmmakers.

Be sure to listen to both audio clips (each about 1 minute in length). Clearly, the voice on the tape believes that an investigation of ACORN by Jerry Brown is a good thing.

If this is accurate, I'm not sure how this doesn't border on conspiracy. If a sitting state Attorney General has already pre-determined the results of an investigation into the corruption and fraud within a group like ACORN, there should be serious repercussions.
