Those of us on the right know one very simple fact. The mainstream media is in the tank for the White House and lies as a matter of course, whether through overt misstatements or blatant omissions. MSNBC's Chuck Todd is among the worse offenders. That's what makes this so good.
You don't even need to know what Donald Trump and Todd are discussing. All you need to know is that Todd led into the interview by stating a falsehood, that Trump wanted to respond to a poll. Trump calls him on it and doesn't relent until Todd fesses up, which ultimately had to do. While on the ropes, Todd erred on what would normally be an insignificant misstatement but Trump pounced, causing the MSNBC reporter to roll his eyes.
This is also why people like Trump but for some insipid reason, too many people on the right fail to follow the model.
Take note, Republican candidates:

Confirmed: Hillary Clinton Lives in Alternate Universe
There is a difference between 'Diplomacy-speak' and sheer insanity. Hillary Clinton has crossed that line. In this one instance, her rhetoric is so diametrically out of phase with reality that we are left to conclude that either a.) she's an agent of America's enemies, b.) she's insane, or c.) she lives in an alternate universe. Ironically, giving her the benefit of the doubt, which I am doing in this case, requires going with the third option.

Then again, Hillary's top aide for eight years was none other than Huma Abedin, whose family has extensive ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Perhaps Hillary has been brainwashed.

Israeli ministers reacted angrily on Sunday after local media quoted U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as saying she feared for the future of Israel’s democracy and the rights of women in the Jewish state.
Clinton’s remarks, reportedly made Saturday behind closed doors at the Saban Forum in Washington, made headlines in most Israeli newspapers, which reported them without explaining how they obtained the comments.
Top-selling Yediot Aharonot said Clinton had expressed concern about a slew of “anti-democratic” bills proposed by right-wing members of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government.
And the newspaper said Clinton had described shock at hearing that some buses in Jerusalem were gender segregated and some religious Israeli soldiers refused to attend events where women would sing. The Hitler-loving Muslim Brotherhood (indisputable facts are not subject to Godwin's Law) is rising to power all across the Middle East as a direct result of policies endorsed by Hillary Clinton. While she complains of gender segregation on buses, agents of the Ikhwan are ushering in Sharia Law, which persecutes women and treats them as less than human.

Gingrich in 2003: I'm a 'Theodore Roosevelt Republican' and 'Government has to Lead on Healthcare'
Newt Gingrich has rocketed to the poll position in the race for the Republican Party's nomination by impressing conservative voters with his words in late 2011 but it's his words and deeds in the past that may bring him crashing to political earth at some point.
This is likely to be a bit of a drag on his thrust.
Via Breitbart, here is Newt in 2003 saying that Government has to 'lead on Healthcare.' He also refers to himself as a 'Theodore Roosevelt Republican.' That's like saying he's a 'John McCain Republican.' Roosevelt was a progressive and this should bolster the arguments of those who insist Gingrich is big government Republican. This ain't Tea Party talk.
I don't agree with liberals very often at all but I agree with Kirsten Powers here, who says Newt will implode, it's just a question of whether he does it before or after getting the nomination.

Occupy Des Moines to Occupy Iowa Caucus
The Occupy movement should be put on notice here. By planning to disrupt the Iowa Caucus, they are coming precariously close to doing there what the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) did in Philadelphia on election day in 2008; they are planning to disrupt an electoral process.
Election law experts are obviously better qualified to clarify how OWS would be in violation of election laws but with OWS telegraphing its intentions one month out, no one should be caught flat-footed.
Again, the group Obama supports through overt silence and sympathy.

More Circumstantial Evidence Obama Knew about Fast and Furious
The White House recently released a stack of visitor logs and though there are several interesting names on those logs, one in particular stands out in two respects. In 2010, Gary Grindler was Deputy Attorney General and was quite familiar with the Fast and Furious operation. In fact, he was definitely in the 'know.' The timing of his four visits in May of that year is rather coincidental if it's not causal because it was at the peak of the operation that ultimately led to the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.

This places the burden of credibility firmly on the shoulders of the Justice Department, which has been consistently inconsistent while whistleblowers like John Dodson haven't budged when it comes to their accounts.

Item 1: In March of 2011, President Obama denied knowledge of 'Operation Fast and Furious' -- the Justice Department program that sent thousands of murder weapons to Mexican drug cartels..But that's not all. The White House, in its attempt to throw a blanket on these highly suspicious coincidences, has pointed to the Soros-funded, highly partisan, White House interference-running, propaganda machine operating as a news source, Media Matters.
Item 2: According to documents obtained by the House Judiciary Committee, Deputy Attorney General Gary Grindler was keenly aware of all aspects of Operation Fast and Furious as early as March 2010.
Item 3: Newly released White House Visitor Logs list Grindler as having visited the White House 40 times, but only four times with the President himself. All four meetings with the President occurred over a two-week period, between 7 May 2010 and 19 May 2010.
Summary: In early 2010, Gary Grindler was intimately involved in all aspects of Operation Fast and Furious. During the height of the operation, Grindler visited the President on four separate occasions in only two weeks -- his only documented meetings with the president at the White House.
A White House spokesman pointed Friday to an account published by the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in its denial of three online claims that President Barack Obama was briefed about the failed “Operation Fast and Furious” gun-walking program in 2010.
According to recently released White House visitor logs, then-Deputy Attorney General Gary Grindler was admitted to the White House four times in 2010 between May 7 and May 19.
The Los Angeles Times has reported that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives program was at its peak during May 2010.
Grindler was briefed in depth about Fast and Furious on March 12, 2010. At least three different investigators on the political right have suggested that those visitor logs indicate Obama met with Grindler personally, since the president was identified as Grindler’s “visitee” on the visitor logs.Media Matters then pointed to a description for Grindler's meeting with Obama that wasn't included in the postings of Ross, Big Government, and Sipsey Street. There is a problem with this and it has to do with what the Department of Justice did just last week; it admitted that the February 4, 2011 letter it sent to Charles Grassley was being rescinded because it has admitted the letter consisted of falsified information.
This places the burden of credibility firmly on the shoulders of the Justice Department, which has been consistently inconsistent while whistleblowers like John Dodson haven't budged when it comes to their accounts.

Hey Liberals, We TOLD YA! Your Socialists in Egypt got Spanked by Muslim Brotherhood
I realize that rubbing the noses of people who have been proven wrong into the 'I told you so' dirt can often be counter-productive and is the quintessential win/lose dynamic; it shouldn't be used often but this is the PERFECT time to whip out that card.
When the 'Arab Spring' was first in bloom, those of us who have studied history, actually pointed to it. The left - to include the likes of the mainstream media - wanted none of it. They preferred instead, to cry along with the liberal youth in Egypt, rooting for them as if they were the best hope for a free Egypt.
We told them: Hey whackos, look at Iran in 1978-79. That was a left-wing / socialist uprising too. The Islamists and the leftists joined hands and helped each other overthrow the Shah. Once that happened, the Islamists executed the leftists. But you didn't want to hear any of that.
Now, look. We Told Ya.
Via Fox News:
The only thing left to discover is the depth of left-wing pride. My guess is that it's somewhere down the abyss.

Via Fox News:
Egypt's top reformist leader has said the liberal youth behind the country's uprising have been "decimated" in parliamentary elections dominated by Islamists and expressed concern about the rise of hard-line religious elements advocating extremist ideas such as banning women from driving.
Mohamed ElBaradei, a Nobel Prize laureate and possible presidential candidate, said Sunday he hopes moderate Islamists will rein in the extremists and send a reassuring message to the world that Egypt will not go down an ultraconservative religious path.
"The youth feel let down. They don't feel that any of the revolution's goals have been achieved," ElBaradei told The Associated Press in an interview on the same day electoral authorities announced that Islamist parties captured an overwhelming majority of votes in the first round of elections last week. "They got decimated," he said, adding the youth failed to unify and form "one essential critical mass."
The High Election Commission announced that the Islamic fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party garnered 36.6 percent of the 9.7 million valid ballots cast last week for party lists. The Nour Party, representing the more hard-line Salafi Islamists, captured 24.4 percent. All of this was beyond predictable by those of us who knew better. This is not 'Armchair Quarterback' stuff either. If it were, it'd be like questioning the decision to punt on first down. If a liberal every gives you a stock tip or tells you a certain horse is a 'sure thing,' RUN!
The only thing left to discover is the depth of left-wing pride. My guess is that it's somewhere down the abyss.
