Video Disgrace: Bill Maher's Blasphemy

This man's behavior is beyond despicable. Before ripping the Tea Party by calling them 'Teabaggers' incessantly, Bill Maher decides to blaspheme Christianity. Coming in a close second for most disgraceful in this clip is Martin Short, who is sitting next to Maher and can't stop laughing. There is an eerie feeling throughout this clip that God is angered by this mockery. How can he not be? It's the same sentiment shared by those who wouldn't listen to Noah - they mocked his God.

This entire clip really is a new low for Maher. I'd love to see him do a similar segment mocking Islam. Wait for it. Hold your breath. If there's any good to come out of the polarization in this country, it's that we're being shown who people really are - people like Martin Short.

Obama Set to Sue Arizona........Again?

This time, it's not Arizona exclusively but they're on the list of states that will have to prepare to be sued by the National Labor Relations Board because those states support the right to secret ballots in Union elections. In short, the Obama administration is setting the table to enforce Card check on states that prevent it in their own Constitutions. Once again, we have the Obama Justice Department looking to impose its will on states that choose to assert theirs. Other states on the list include South Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah.

Via the AP:
WASHINGTON – The National Labor Relations Board on Friday threatened to sue Arizona, South Carolina, South Dakota and Utah over constitutional amendments guaranteeing workers the right to a secret ballot in union elections.

The agency's acting general counsel, Lafe Solomon, said the amendments conflict with federal law, which gives employers the option of recognizing a union if a majority of workers sign cards that support unionizing.
The amendments, approved Nov. 2, have taken effect in South Dakota and Utah, and will do so soon in Arizona and South Carolina.

Business and anti-union groups sought the amendments, arguing that such secrecy is necessary to protect workers against union intimidation. They are concerned that Congress might enact legislation requiring employers to allow the "card check" process for forming unions instead of secret ballot elections.
Obama is resembling King George more every day. In particular, this excerpt from the Declaration of Independence:
He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.
Prediction: Judges will put a hold on the amendments, thereby clearing the way for card check. Then the amendments will wallow in obscurity, never to be attended to.

Case in point: SB 1070

Labor Department Fraud? Green Jobs Grants

If there's one thing that is appallingly clear it's that the rhetoric about 'Green Jobs' far outweighs any actual 'green jobs' in existence. Perhaps trumping that pathetic reality is a Labor Department that is issuing millions of dollars in grants to Universities for green jobs that don't exist. A former college official was interviewed by the Daily Caller and is asserting that colleges are telling Labor Department officials what they want to hear even if it doesn't match reality.

Via the Daily Caller:
The Department of Labor has issued several million dollars in grants to community colleges and specialized universities around the country to train students for “green jobs” in renewable energy fields. While the grants are supposed to fund the future “rank and file” workers of the renewable energy industry, there’s a glaring problem the DOL seemingly overlooked — those jobs are either non-existent or scarce.

A former college official who has applied for these grants and has in-depth experience working with the Department of Labor and the Department of Education told The Daily Caller that colleges will often fudge expected job placement numbers just to get extra government cash.

“On ground level – it’s a real struggle – my grant writers came to me and honestly said, ‘I don’t have any job projections, what do I tell them?’ You do your best to make up job numbers,” said the former college official, who wished to remain anonymous to prevent jeopardizing future job opportunities. “But it’s not like lying – it’s just guessing what we might be able to do in a best case scenario, but you don’t say it’s not likely for many jobs.”

The former college official told TheDC that, though his college received five different “green jobs” grants from the Department of Labor to train students, no program has been set up yet.
For anyone who believes that this administration is attempting to destroy the economy, it's revelations like this that bolster the argument. It's right out of the Cloward-Piven playbook, albeit with various government agencies because those who revere the strategy are in charge. When CP strategy was drawn up, it called for people to flood the welfare rolls.

What the Labor Department is doing is also reminiscent of the Pigford fraud. With green jobs, the Labor Department is issuing grants to universities that don't have any. In Pigford, the Agriculture Department is issuing reparations to black farmers who were never black farmers.

Weather Underground Founder Chimes in on Tucson Shootings

First of all, the fact that the Washington Post would give the Weather Underground's Mark Rudd a platform to give his take on Jared Loughner says a lot about them. The good news is, Rudd's writing says a lot about him too. Rudd was the member of the terrorist group that signed on the bombing that was to take place at an officers dance on the Fort Dix, NJ Army base in 1970. Fortunately, that bombing didn't happen because it exploded in the Greenwich Village town house where it was being assembled, killing three Weathermen.

Anyway, via the Washington Post:
I considered myself an agent of necessity in a political revolution. I'm not sure if Loughner, who seems to suffer from mental illness, can be considered an agent of anything. But I'm sure that if, as alleged, he pulled the trigger, he had convinced himself that he was doing what needed to be done.

At his age, I had thought myself into a similar corner. My willingness to endorse and engage in violence had something to do with an exaggerated sense of my own importance. I wanted to prove myself as a man - a motive exploited by all armies and terrorist groups. I wanted to be a true revolutionary like my guerrilla hero, Ernesto "Che" Guevara. I wanted the chant we used at demonstrations defending the Black Panthers to be more than just words: "The revolution has come/Time to pick up the gun!"
A little further, Rudd talks about the bombing at the Greenwich Village town house...
On March 6, 1970, the Weather Underground's bombs, assembled in a New York townhouse, exploded prematurely. Ted Gold, Diana Oughton and Terry Robbins - three brilliant and passionate young people who had decided that they must become terrorists - were killed. Only by their deaths was the greater tragedy we were plotting avoided. Emotionally shattered, I dropped out of the Weather Underground but remained a fugitive until 1977.
Kinda says it all, doesn't it? Three would be mass murderers were "brilliant" and "passionate" in the mind of Mark Rudd.
