It looks like the Union thugs are attempting to do in Washington what they did in Wisconsin. There are several parts of this video worth watching but the words coming out of the cakeholes of these people are definitely the best part. Remember, these are public sector union members whose lifeblood comes from taxpayer dollars, the majority of which is given against the will of those who pay them. Keep that in mind as you hear one purple lady say, 'If we don't stand up, they'll keep taking and taking and taking and taking.'

Palpable Irony: Judge Sumi is Sued

The liberal activist judge in Dane County, Wisconsin who issued multiple Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO) to prevent the implementation of the recently passed collective bargaining law is being sued by Wisconsin's Attorney General. Judge Maryann Sumi's last name is pronounced as the threat, 'Sue me.' In a touch of irony, she is being sued in her capacity as a judge who overstepped her constitutional authority by ruling on a law without any legal standing to do so. Sumi also should have recused herself based on her family ties to SEIU. This is why the recent election for State Supreme Court justice on April 5th was so important.

Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen on Thursday filed a filed a Petition for Supervisory Writ [text, PDF] directly to the state Supreme Court over a circuit court judge's temporary blocking [JURIST report] of a controversial bill that limits the rights of public employee unions. The suit claims that Dane County Circuit Court [official website] Judge Maryann Sumi did not have the constitutional authority to block the publication of the Budget Repair Bill [Senate Bill 11 text, PDF]. It then asks the Wisconsin Supreme Court [official website] to immediately take jurisdiction of the case and dismiss it. A Petition for Supervisory Writ is not a direct appeal of any lower court decision, but rather a procedure that starts a new action altogether [Wis. Stat. 809.70 text] because the petitioner claims a judge violated his or her constitutional authority.

This petition not only goes to the heart of why the Wisconsin State Supreme Court election on April 5th was so important; it is an offensive move on the part of Van Hollen. He's not just asking the Supreme Court to overrule Sumi. He's going after her personally for breaking the law and violating the Constitution. He's playing hardball and if Sumi was smart, she'd agree to lift her ill-advised restraining order and order Secretary of State Doug Follette to certify the law in return for Van Hollen's dropping the lawsuit. I think we're about to find out how willing Sumi is to be a martyr for the progressive agenda.

Then again, if she does lift the restraining order, will Obama's DOJ step in?

Election Fraud in Wisconsin?

On April 5th, there was an election in Wisconsin that would shift the power of the state's Supreme Court, which is currently made up of 4 Republicans and 3 Democrats. In light of where the new labor law appears to be heading - The Wisconsin State Supreme Court, the union thugs took great interest in the election. On the ballot was Republican incumbent Justice David Prosser and liberal activist (that's the Democrat), JoAnne Kloppenburg. As the results came in, it became clear it would be another close race. With 97% of the precincts in, Prosser was ahead by several hundred votes. Then, at the last hour, Kloppenburg pulled it out, winning by 204 votes.

With the history of Democrat tactics in elections, this one so blatantly raises eyebrows that fraud is practically a foregone conclusion. We're getting to the point where the left can't even deny it anymore. The problem has been that the Republicans have historically not been able to overcome these tricks - see Al Franken.

However, there appear to be some big red flags with these ballots.

Wisconsin citizens and election experts are questioning the veracity of the state’s Supreme Court race, which the Associated Press reports left-wing legal activist JoAnne Kloppenburg won by 204 votes over Justice David Prosser, out of the more than 1.4 million votes.

On an estimated more than 10,000 ballots in Dane County, Wisconsin, where the state capital Madison is, voters selected only a pick in the Supreme Court race, while leaving even the hotly contested mayoral and county executive choices blank. That raises red flags for election experts like Scott St. Clair of the Freedom Foundation, a conservative think tank.

“This is the state that wrote the book on squeaker elections,” St. Clair told The Daily Caller. “I wouldn’t put it past somebody in Wisconsin to be selectively revealing ballots or conveniently finding ballots because this is the kind of stuff we’ve seen in the past before. I think it’s also important to note that Wisconsin and Illinois are neighbors and how they vote in Chicago doesn’t necessarily stop at the state line.”

Democrats are increasingly playing with fire if they are indeed behind massive voter fraud. There will be a day of reckoning. They will be found out. When that day comes, it will make the ACORN scandal look like a jaywalking offense. In this case, the left has decided to pull out all of the stops in a Supreme Court election. A Supreme Court Justice may have the ability to overturn a few more rocks than an attorney representing a congressional or senatorial candidate.

Palestinian facebook Revolution in Israel?

This is disturbing if there's even a scintilla of truth to it. According to reports from the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), hundreds of thousands of anti-semites are meeting on facebook to plan a social network - inspired revolution against the state of Israel on May 15th. Could it be that the formula used successfully in Egypt has been adopted by those who want to see Israel destroyed?

According to an in-depth report by L. Barkan, a research fellow at the Middle East Media Research Institute, which monitors and analyzes media reports throughout the Middle East, the idea being circulated is "for millions of Palestinian refugees to march en masse in return to the original homes of their families in Israel."

The movement's plans call for this to be much more than just a visit, however.

"All the families of Jewish settlers in the Galilee area, including in the areas of Safed, Tiberias, and all the way down to Acre, must proceed to the port of Haifa and board ships back to their countries of origin in Europe," explained one posting that is part of the campaign.

It provided instructions for others to report to other ports – all by the middle of March, a deadline long past.

"The message also warned that anyone trying to take 'archeological artifacts [or anything belonging] to the Palestinian heritage, even a single ball of falafel, will be pursued and arrested by Interpol in his new place of residence,'" the report said.

One of the Facebook pages soliciting participants in what apparently would be an invasion and attempted overthrow of the region's existing government has been removed by the Facebook administration, but not before collecting some 350,000 endorsements from readers. Other pages remain.

The timing of this descent on Israel by those who falsely believe their property has been stolen curiously coincides with another group of people former SEIU Official Stephen Lerner has been trying to organize a mortgage and student loan strike in the first week of May. Here is a partial transcript from a meeting Lerner facilitated recently. Via The Blaze:

And so what we’re looking at is in the first week of May, we get enough people together – we’re starting now – to really have a week of action in New York with the goal of … I don’t want to go into any details because I don’t know which police agents are in the room, but the goal would be that we would roll out in New York the first week in May—

Not only is the timing similar but so are the objectives. Both Lerner's followers and those who want to re-claim Israel for themselves think they are taking back what's rightfully theirs.

Another disturbing twist is the amount of time Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn have been spending in the Middle East lately.

SEIU Sued Based on RICO Statutes

A company named Sodexo has filed a lawsuit against the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) over what it calls Extortion. It looks like someone is finally standing up to the thuggish union tactics employed by the group Barack Obama has pledged his allegiance to. If these charges can be proven in a court of law, SEIU will be shown to have been even worse than some thought or believed - a huge feat in and of itself.

Sodexo is a company that would represent quite the score for SEIU, which at least would establish a motive to some extent. Here is a description of Sodexo via Big Government:

One of the largest food services and facilities management companies in the world, Sodexo is the provider of choice for most schools, universities, companies, hotels, prisons and other facilities that outsource their cafeteria and food catering operations, and for those that outsource industrial cleaning services. SEIU has been incessantly battering Sodexo since 2007, in its desire to unionize some of its nearly 400,000 employees, many of them hotel and food service workers. Exacerbating the tensions was a longstanding turf war between SEIU and UNITE HERE over hotel and casino workers, which often spilled over into SEIU’s antics prior to the settlement the warring unions reached this past summer.

Collecting union dues from 400,000 employees sounds quite lucrative. What lengths would an entity like SEIU go to in order to secure those dues? Here is a portion of what Sodexo is alleging SEIU has done from a press release about the suit via Breitbart:

The complaint alleges that the SEIU, in face to face meetings, threatened Sodexo USA's executives that it would harm Sodexo USA's business unless they gave in to the union, and then carried out its threats through egregious behavior, including:

* throwing plastic roaches onto food being served by Sodexo USA at a high profile event;
* scaring hospital patients by insinuating that Sodexo USA food contained bugs, rat droppings, mold and flies;
* lying to interfere with Sodexo USA business and sneaking into elementary schools to avoid security;
* violating lobbying laws to steer business away from Sodexo USA, even at the risk of costing Sodexo USA employees their jobs; and
* harassing Sodexo USA employees by threatening to accuse them of wrongdoing.

Remember what uncle Saul Alinsky taught Barack Obama? From Alinsky's Rules For Radicals, Chapter 2:

"The end is what you want, the means is how you get it. Whenever we think about social change, the question of means and ends arises. The man of action views the issue of means and ends in pragmatic and strategic terms. He has no other problem; he thinks only of his actual resources and the possibilities of various choices of action. He asks of ends only whether they are achievable and worth the cost; of means, only whether they will work. ... The real arena is corrupt and bloody." p.24

It is really a sad testament to the state of this country when a man who is in bed with a group like SEIU is the president. Obama continues to aid SEIU in its efforts no matter where they take place.

As the fleebaggers continued to stall, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and the Republican Senators were able to strip the portions of the Bill that require twenty Senators to be present for the creation of a quorum. This has the Unionites up in arms and the anger inside the Capitol continues to build. Meanwhile, SEIU is urging members to descend on the Capitol on Thursday. Remember, Barack Obama long ago pledged his allegiance to SEIU.

Videos: Public Sector Union Corruption / Illogic on Display

Here are two videos that perfectly illustrate both the corruption of public sector unions and Democrats as well as the illogic from a union protester in Wisconsin this weekend. First up is a video from 2009 that features an SEIU representative with the United Healthcare Workers at a budget hearing. Remember, this woman is paid with taxpayer dollars (Republicans and Democrats) and she admits in this very short clip that her union helped to elect Democrats who will lose reelection if they don't do the bidding of the unions.

This clip is from the Wisconsin protests. The key quote comes within the first 30 seconds as a Union supporter literally asks his opponent, 'Why do you have a right to your money?' Note the guy's response. He's literally speechless and basically resigns himself to the fact that the moron who asked that question is beyond help. I think he took a swig of water so he didn't pass out.

Los Angeles Police Union Urging Solidarity with MoveOn.org and SEIU

Incredibly interesting account here from a Los Angeles police officer with an assumed name. Jack Dunphy is with the LAPD and as such, is a member of the Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL). He's also a conservative and disagrees with the idea that police officers should stand in solidarity with public sector union protesters. The groups behind the protesters consist of SEIU, MoveOn.org and a host of other far left groups that make the jobs of police officers even more difficult than they already are.

That didn't stop the LAPPL from sending out an email to its members that asked them to stand with the protesters; it even directed them to an SEIU website to get more information about the MoveOn.org protests, not to keep them orderly, but to join in.

At noon local time on Saturday, February 26, MoveOn.org will hold rallies in front of every statehouse and in every major city to stand in solidarity with the people of Wisconsin. Find a Rally to Save the American Dream near you by visiting the website and entering your zip code. You can also show your support by sending words of encouragement to Wisconsin’s workers via a special website created by the SEIU.

Dunphy goes on to explain that he and most of his colleagues are conservative and were repulsed by the email. Comments on the blog post even prompted the LAPPL to re-word its verbiage multiple times. The good news here is that it's looking more and more like it's the police union leadership that is driving solidarity with the thugs and many of the rank and file detest the notion.

Who would have guessed that part of the Alinsky strategy we're seeing unfold involved polarizing police departments from the inside? We're beginning to see more and more what Obama meant by this:

Memo: SEIU Thugs to Intimidate at Town Halls

Alert the Tea Party! An internal SEIU memo has revealed that the group is planning to finance purple shirted rent-a-mobs in coming town hall meetings to push (likely both literally and figuratively) their agenda. In fact, the memo shows that they will spend 'tens of millions' of dollars doing it.

The campaign—called Fight for a Fair Economy—will focus on mobilizing mostly low-wage minority workers in 10 to 15 cities, including Cleveland, Milwaukee, Miami and Detroit, according to the memo reviewed by The Wall Street Journal. The SEIU wants the effort to peak in the summer of 2012, with events at primaries, town-hall meetings and other campaign venues, according to the memo.

SEIU spokeswoman Inga Skippings declined to confirm that the memo reflected the final plans of the union, which has two million members, and said its strategy continues to evolve.

The cities designated for the campaign have high concentrations of SEIU members and are in states where governors have proposed cutting benefits to public-sector workers amid worries over pension costs and broader budget woes. In some of the targeted states, lawmakers are considering "right to work" legislation that would eliminate laws making union membership mandatory whenever a union is formed at an employer.

Conspicuously absent from the list of cities SEIU will bully are ones in New Jersey - at least the ones listed in the article. Such cities might exist in the actual memo but if they don't, it says a lot about how standing up to bullies actually does work.

The WSJ article says the strategy is supposed to hit a crescendo in 2012.

Obama Set to Sue Arizona........Again?

This time, it's not Arizona exclusively but they're on the list of states that will have to prepare to be sued by the National Labor Relations Board because those states support the right to secret ballots in Union elections. In short, the Obama administration is setting the table to enforce Card check on states that prevent it in their own Constitutions. Once again, we have the Obama Justice Department looking to impose its will on states that choose to assert theirs. Other states on the list include South Carolina, South Dakota, and Utah.

WASHINGTON – The National Labor Relations Board on Friday threatened to sue Arizona, South Carolina, South Dakota and Utah over constitutional amendments guaranteeing workers the right to a secret ballot in union elections.

The agency's acting general counsel, Lafe Solomon, said the amendments conflict with federal law, which gives employers the option of recognizing a union if a majority of workers sign cards that support unionizing.
The amendments, approved Nov. 2, have taken effect in South Dakota and Utah, and will do so soon in Arizona and South Carolina.

Business and anti-union groups sought the amendments, arguing that such secrecy is necessary to protect workers against union intimidation. They are concerned that Congress might enact legislation requiring employers to allow the "card check" process for forming unions instead of secret ballot elections.

Obama is resembling King George more every day. In particular, this excerpt from the Declaration of Independence:

He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

Prediction: Judges will put a hold on the amendments, thereby clearing the way for card check. Then the amendments will wallow in obscurity, never to be attended to.

VIDEO: THE TANGLED WEB OF VOTER FRAUD IN TEXAS

First, the video news report from Houston's Fox affiliate on August 27th of this year. A three alarm fire broke out inside a warehouse and destroyed Harris county's entire stock of voting machines - nearly 10,000. Harris county had been under suspicion of voter fraud during the 2008 elections. On August 24th of this year - just three days before this fire - the county's voter registrar issued a press release that let it publicly be known his office was aware of an organized attack on the voting process.

Now, to the August 24th Press Release from the Harris County Registrar, Leo Vasquez. As in all things leftwing, name changes are in abundance:

“The integrity of the voting rolls in Harris County, Texas, appears to be under an organized and systematic attack by the group operating under the name 'Houston Votes.' Houston Votes is the voter registration machine of the 'Texans Together Education Fund.' Houston Votes and Texans Together have effectively emerged as our area's new 'ACORN' organization."

Three days later, the fire.

Red State has put together a string of at least seven coincidences that should raise several eyebrows about this. Go figure; one of those coincidences involves an SEIU connection.

SEIU BULLIES REAR THEIR THUGGISH HEADS IN CONNECTICUT

When Glen Nelson, owner of Matrix Realty purchased a new building, its janitorial service was unionized. After the purchase of the building, Nelson decided to go with a non-union cleaning service to save on expenses - $1.3 Million a year to be exact. As you can imagine, SEIU doesn't take too kindly to such things - the same SEIU that Obama pledged his loyalty to on numerous occasions. Instead of looking for new jobs, SEIU members went to Nelson's home to intimidate him.

One of the protesters claimed he was threatened by Nelson when he and his fellow whiners set up shop near Nelson's home.

The man who says he was threatened, Arthur Tiscia, 40, in a telephone interview Wednesday said he went to Nelson's home in Miller Place on Dec. 21 with a group of the cleaners who had lost their jobs.

They set up a table and a banner in the street near Nelson's driveway and intended to ask Nelson's neighbors for food donations for Christmas, for the families of janitors who had lost their jobs, Tiscia said. Nelson came home and threatened him, Tiscia said.

The story takes a disturbing twist on multiple levels at this point. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) predictably sided with Tiscia and Nelson unfortunately caved when the NLRB ruled that if he wanted to avoid further trouble, he would have to post a sign in the front of his business that said the following:

"We will not threaten to kill you or to cause you bodily harm because you engage in activities" in support of a labor union.

SEIU's behavior is beyond reproach but at some point, people like Tiscia need to stand up to these thugs.

BLAGO TRIAL REVEALS OBAMA EMISSARY

SEIU leader Tom Balanoff took the stand today in the corruption trial of Rod Blagojevich. In his testimony, he corroborated what was captured on recorded phone conversations between Blago and Chief of Staff John Harris - Obama sent him to meet with Blago about the Senate seat Obama would be vacating after winning the election in 2008. Unfortunately, at a press conference on December 9th, 2008, Obama told reporters that he had no contact with Blagojevich.

"Tom, i want to talk to you with regard to the Senate seat," Obama told him.

Balanoff said Obama said he had two criteria: someone who was good for the citizens of Illinois and could be elected in 2010.

Obama said he wasn't publicly coming out in support of anyone but he believed Valerie Jarrett would fit the bill.

"I would much prefer she (remain in the White House) but she does want to be Senator and she does meet those two criteria," Balanoff said Obama told him. "I said: 'thank you, I'm going to reach out to Gov. Blagojevich."

Contrast that with this press conference on December 9th, 2008 - the day of Blago's arrest. Fast forward to the 3:00 mark to see another instance where Obama lied.

VIDEO: NINA EASTON EXPLAINS SEIU PROTEST

This is a follow up story to the interview Megyn Kelly conducted with Assistant D.C. Metro Chief Patrick Burke and Captain of Montgomery Police Department Paul Stark. Stark's account disputed Nina Easton's claims that three police officers on the scene said they didn't want to arrest the lawbreakers for fear of inciting a riot. Easton is standing by her story, which is much more believable than Stark's claims. Go HERE to watch that interview.

Nina Easton has appeared on several Fox News shows as a panelist and she is far from being known as politically conservative. She often comes across as a moderate-to-left leaning pundit. It is refreshing to see her standing up like this. She should be commended and supported. Her awakening could be a foreshadowing of things to come as SEIU and other community organisms continue to unmask themselves. In addition to that, the man whose home these thugs descended on belongs to a Democrat.

As for the claims of both the D.C. Metro and Montgomery County police officials, I'm sure they are none too happy about Easton going public. Her being a neighbor to Bauer is likely viewed as a very unfortunate reality they weren't expecting.

VIDEO: POLICE CAPTAIN ON RESPONSE TO SEIU PROTEST ON PRIVATE PROPERTY

This story has a stench rivaled only by one of the dead fish Rahm Emanuel dropped in the mailbox. On Sunday, May 16th, SEIU thugs loaded up into several buses in Washington, D.C. and went to the home of a Bank of America attorney Greg Baer, which was in Maryland's Montgomery county. They picketed outside Baer's home with only the attorney's fourteen year-old son inside. The boy was terrorized by the community organisms.

No arrests were made. Not one. Two police officers appeared on Megyn Kelly's show on the Fox News Channel to make their case. The representative from D.C. Metro was Patrick Burke, Asst. Chief of police there. The man from the Montgomery County police was Captain Paul Stark. Of the two, Stark's answers to Kelly's questions were the most bizarre. His explanations and accounts simply didn't add up. The fact that inconsistencies expressed by Stark were coming from the mouth of a police captain were equally stunning.

BACKDROP: D.C. Metro police allegedly followed fourteen SEIU buses to the Montgomery County border in Maryland and alerted Montgomery County police who then sent three police officers to the home of Baer. The most suspect claim from Stark about why no arrests were made is that by the time his officers arrived, the thugs were leaving and nothing unlawful had been witnessed. He completely dismisses the notion that the protesters were on the property for an hour, saying it was only minutes.

This is simply not believable. As Mike Flynn at Big Government points out, the notion that the following all happened in the span of minutes and before police arrived - police who had been notified prior to the arrival of these protesters - is simply not possible.

1. Fourteen buses would have to park
2. 500 protesters would have to get off the buses, collectively grabbing their signs in unison
3. 500 protesters would have to walk onto Baer's lawn
4. At least one protester gets up on Baer's porch and uses a megaphone to whip up her comrades into a frenzy
5. A fourteen year-old boy is sufficiently terrorized enough to lock himself in a bathroom

I find the most noteworthy portion of this clip to be Kelly's mention to Stark of the claim made by Fox News Contributor Nina Easton, who actually lives in Baer's neighborhood. Easton actually wrote a column about the whole experience and it is very much worth reading. You can read it HERE. Easton wrote:

Intimidation was the whole point of this exercise, and it worked-even on the police. A trio of officers who belatedly answered our calls confessed a fear that arrests might "incite" these trespassers.

Note what Easton says here. All three of the officers conceded that arrests might "incite" the protesters. The most telling part of Stark's answer was what he DIDN'T say. He did NOT call Easton a liar or imply that she was wrong. He simply said that he understood it differently.

Probably the biggest reason why I believe Easton over Stark is that intimidating authorities into this exact thing is straight out of the Community Organism playbook. Rule #9 to be exact:

Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O’Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city’s reputation.

This tactic EXACTLY speaks to Easton's claims about what she said those three cops told her. No one likes to admit to cowardice or succumbing to intimidation, especially the police. That may explain why Stark is dismissing the charge.

VIDEO: ACORN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BERTHA LEWIS ARRESTED

Talk about a perversion. Communists, Socialists, and Marxists assembling on a busy street in New York City to protest in support of illegal aliens who break the law. Bertha Lewis, Executive Director of the Association of Community Organisms for Reform Now is arrested and led away in handcuffs while her fellow Socialists actually have the gall to sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Here's a photo of Bertha emphasizing one of her pointless points some time ago. See if you can spot her in the video. Word of Caution: Unless you have an interest in listening to people who can't sing belt out, "We Shall Overcome" over and over and over again, fast forward to the 7:30 mark.

That's when the Socialists decide to change their tune to America's national anthem. Aside from utterly butchering it, apparently lost on all of them is the fact that it represents everything they're protesting against - an America free from tyranny and the rule of law.

MEET ANDY STERN'S REPLACEMENT AT SEIU

If social justice is just another way of saying socialism, then a community organizer is just another term for socialist. Following Andy Stern's resignation as head of the Service Employees International Union, the void has been filled by a woman named Mary Kay Henry, who was profiled - can I say that? - in a New York Times article.

According to the Times, Henry's colleagues tout her as an "organizer" who isn't polarizing. I just love this quote from Dennis Rivera, the head of SEIU's health care division - which is likely another oxymoron all by itself:

“I’ve never seen her be polarizing,” said Dennis Rivera, who heads the service employees’ health care division. “She brings people together.”

Uh, if Rivera is right, why on earth would a Community Organizing outfit like SEIU make some woman president who doesn't polarize people? That violates the basic tenets of the founder of Community Organizing, Saul Alinsky who insisted on polarizing people to get what you want.

My personal favorite in the Times article is when it says this of Henry:

She is a straight talker with a strong, comforting voice who speaks freely about how her Roman Catholic upbringing nourished her interest in social justice, about being a lesbian and about her hopes to use her new position to battle for workers’ rights, immigrants’ rights and gay rights.

The only evidence that excerpt provides is evidence the Catholic church is falling down on the job. The Catholic church has no business teaching social justice and if one of its members says it learned social justice from the Catholic church, that simply means the latter has a severe communication problem.

I would love to know Henry's feelings on SEIU-affiliated group National Peoples' Action and its members' attempt to further bully banks on May 17th. The event, billed as Showdown on K Street is likely to be somewhat polarizing. Since Mary Kay Henry is not polarizing and is better known for bringing people together, perhaps she can use her influence as the top dawg at SEIU to bring the members of National People's Action (NPA) and bankers together.

VIDEOS: EVIDENCE OF WHITE HOUSE THUGOCRACY?

May 15th - 17th are definitely dates to be familiar with. That is when a group called National People's Action (NPA) will be descending on Wall Street to outwardly demonize and demagogue banks. If not for James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, NPA may have sent ACORN instead but alas, that layer of the onion has already been peeled away. Billed as the Showdown on K Street, NPA is calling all thugs to help them bully bankers.

As we learn more and more about the left, we learn that they love to create various groups with positive sounding names. They do this, in part, to provide cover for the overall movement. If ACORN was the biggest and most powerful left wing group, the jig would be up. If not for groups like the Center for American Progress (CAP), Van Jones may have dropped off into obscurity. Instead, he's a fellow with CAP and has the ear of John Podesta.

Now we appear to have ACORN on steroids, in the form of NPA. Founding Bloggers is reporting that NPA may have more culpability in the housing crisis than ACORN did:

This group is at the very center of the real estate bubble-bust brought on by the dreaded CRA, and they are organizing an army of unions to march on Wall Street and blame the entirety of the economic disaster on the evil rich.

A sister organization of NPA is the National Training and Information Center (NTIC). They have a history of misappropriating federal grant dollars but to keep from getting too confused with all of these acronyms, just know that they all fall under the Community Organizing umbrella. In fact, the downfall of ACORN has left a void that is being filled by NPA and NTIC.

Via Founding Bloggers, here is a video of SEIU president Andy Stern giving a speech in Chicago last year in which he 'rubbed raw the sores of discontent' and directed the subsequent anger at bankers. In reality, as the man who had the most White House visits, Stern is doing the Obama administration's bidding and vice versa. Corporate America and the free market is under attack and these thugs are ginning up anger in order to do it.



Another video that is very important is this one of John McKnight, another Alinsky-ite. McKnight was a mentor of Barack Obama during the latter's indoctrination into the Alinsky methods. McKnight is on the Board of the Gamaliel Foundation, an outfit inspired by Saul Alinsky.

VIDEO: THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE MONEY COMES FROM

What can one possibly say to set this up? The video starts out with an un-hinged moonbat yelling, "Raise my taxes". Either the moonbat is a complete and utter moron, she has no idea where money comes from, or she's living vicariously through others whose taxes she wants raised. Regardless of what option you choose, she's certifiable.

Don't stop watching there because the hits just keep coming. For example, the woman in the purple shirt with the yellow vest says she's for an increase in revenue which is why she supports taxes......for business owners who make more than she does, as a business owner. This individual is then asked how she got to the event - the question was actually geared toward who funded the trip. The answer? We got here on a Greyhound bus.

Priceless - no pun intended. These people literally - no, I mean literally - have no idea where money comes from.

DOES ANDY STERN OF SEIU HAVE A LOBBYING PROBLEM?

Head of thug organization SEIU, Andy Stern certainly doesn't have a problem lobbying but does he have a problem lobbying? It's looking as though he does but as has been the case so often in this administration, it's more likely that we'll see the consequences include some white washing as opposed an honest investigation. Then again, when does something become SO egregiously blatant that even the staunchest of democrats have to concede?

Please ignore the ACORN videos before answering that question.

h/t to HOT AIR for drawing attention to this. Two strong groups have teamed up to draft a letter calling for the investigation into Andy Stern's lobbying activities after he resigned from lobbying in 2007.

CLICK HERE to read the letter the Americans for Tax Reform and the Alliance for Worker Freedom sent to both congress and the U.S. Attorney.

At issue is the fact that since stepping down as a federal lobbyist, Stern appears to have continued lobbying. Quoting from the letter:

it appears that Mr. Stern continued to lobby extensively after he terminated his registered status, and in 2009 devoted so much time on lobbying and related activities that he should have re-registered as a lobbyist under LDA.

LDA stands for Lobbying Disclosure Act.

There's more. We all remember who topped the list of White House visitors based on the logs that were revealed recently. Andy Stern of SEIU visited the White House 22 times over the period chronicled. He did so as someone who had resigned from being a lobbyist. Yet, his reasons for visiting appear to have been related to lobbying. Do those 22 visits to the White House constitute lobbying activity? It would appear so.

Since White House personnel, including the President and Vice President, are considered “covered” officials under LDA, all of Mr. Stern’s communications with them during these 22 visits covering 20 days would constitute “lobbying contacts.” The time spent at the White House also constitutes “lobbying activity” time which must be captured for determining whether Mr. Stern spent more than 20% of his time during any calendar quarter engaged in lobbying.

Interestingly, Twitter may be the most damaging thing for Stern as both ATR and AWF include Twitter posts made by Stern that would also indicate lobbying activity (in addition to his White House visits).

According to the LDA, in order not to be in violation, a person cannot spend more than 20% of their time performing lobbyist activities. Likely, a question that is going to be at the heart of any debate is one that involves this determination relative to Stern. ATR and AWF seem to be going down the road of one lobbying act in one particular day should count as 20% of a five-day work week. That seems fair on its surface but I wonder if there's enough gray area there to break it down based on a 40 hour work week.

A question I have is why Stern would step down from his lobbying post. Considering the fact that he topped the White House visitor list, perhaps the larger concern for the administration was the appearance of so blatantly reneging on a campaign promise of not working with lobbyists, even though that promise has since been broken multiple times. As the head of SEIU, was Stern's profile and status simply too big to be an "official" lobbyist?

In light of this new Obama administration saga involving Stern, check out this video interview of him recently. If you take note of anything in particular, check out his response to the recent ACORN scandal and how he says those involved should be held accountable. Fast forward to the 1:30 mark and hear him say:

"My sense is ACORN made a series of mistakes. Unfortunately, they paid a price, which is what happens sometimes when you make mistakes."
