Video: Occupy's Hibernating Months about to end?

As the Occupy Wall Street movement was kicking off last September, Van Jones referred to it as an "American Autumn," in an attempt to liken the movement to the "Arab Spring." The movement essentially went dormant as its stench, rampant crime, bad public perception, and winter months all bore down on it. Well, it's coming back this spring and the tactics are going to be changed to reflect a more local focus.

It’s Springtime for Occupy!  That means the brilliant cast of characters that brought you the noxious, multimillion dollar expense to the taxpayer are back for a second round.  Two of The Blaze’s favorite leaders of civic unrest, arch-liberal sociologist Frances Fox Piven and SEIU labor organizer Stephen Lerner discussed  how Occupy Wall Street will pivot to a far more local, intimate occupation this spring after being evicted from their public squatting grounds with rubber bullets and crews in post apocalyptic hazmat suits.  In an in-depth interview with Democracynow.org, Piven and Learner lay out five integral steps that Occupy will be taking this spring to keep a pulse going.

Video Beautificousness: Tea Party Puts Anarchist Icon on Defense

As the Occupy Wall Street bums begin to run out of gas - largely because they can't clean up after themselves (let alone clean themselves) - 1960's radical icon Frances Fox Piven ran into a bit of a Tea Party buzz saw at one of the least likely places - a college campus. Symbolically, this is quite significant. The Obama administration seems to be following the Cloward-Piven strategy to a tee. In essence, anarchy is created by overwhelming the entitlement system with obligations it cannot meet. Here, Piven whips out the race card while referring to the Tea Party at Messiah College. Unfortunately for Piven, she wasn't expecting to hear a Tea Party rebuke from the audience.

Remember, when applying the Alinsky model, it is imperative that participants enjoy what they're doing, that opponents are sufficiently bullied into submission. When this doesn't happen, the model breaks down. That's what makes this so significant. In the context of this exchange, it may not mean much. In the bigger picture, however, Piven is a virtual icon of the left wing movement today. This was an extremely significant occurrence in that respect. Fireworks start at the 1:30 mark when Piven says the Tea Party didn't like the idea of a 'black president.'

This set up a question from someone in the audience in which Piven was asked to explain the rise of Herman Cain in light of her premise that the Tea Party has a problem with the idea of a black president. In typical heads-I-win-tails-you-lose fashion, Piven asserts that Cain 'dilutes the suspicion.' Translation: Herman Cain's rise is a Tea Party conspiracy. Note, however, that Piven modulates her position a bit when pressed:



Piven then comes full circle and gives the Tea Party legitimacy as a movement while asserting that she hopes it's not the 'only important movement in American society.' This is significant because it reveals a sense of doubt that the left may not have an answer for the Tea Party. Days later, the Occupy Wall Street movement appears to be winding down.

Video: AFL-CIO's Richard Trumka (Communist) says Tea Party making Government 'Dysfunctional'

Projection is the art of accusing your opponents of that that which you are actually guilty of doing. No one does this better than the far left. Communists, marxists, and socialists all lie incessantly because if they told the truth about their agenda, they'd lose too many mindless followers. In fact, it's almost as if their favorite commandment to disobey is the one about bearing false witness. The AFL-CIO chief Richard Trumka does that right here when he says the Tea Party is trying to 'make the government dysfunctional so they can tear it down' and that it's hard for (Obama) to deal with.

Consider the plans of Cloward and Piven from the 1960's (Cloward dead and Frances Fox-Piven still believes in it). The objective was to flood the government's welfare and entitlement roles so that - follow me here - the government would become dysfunctional so that it could be torn down. There is significant evidence that Barack Obama endorsed the Cloward-Piven strategy in his youth and based on what he's done to the economy since taking office, it's not a leap to say that he still does.

...in 1983, Piven delivered the opening remarks at the Socialist Scholars Conference (SSC) in New York City, an event that commemorated the 100-year anniversary of Karl Marx’s death and was likely attended by a young Barack Obama. In her talk, Piven described Marx as the man whose ideas had enabled “common people” around the globe to become “historical actors.” She urged her listeners to “stand within the intellectual and political tradition Marx bequeathed,” treating it not as a “dead inheritance” but rather as a “living tradition—the creation of thinking, active people.” In subsequent years, Piven would appear at numerous additional SSCs.

Trumka is basically saying here that the Tea Party has apparently signed on to the Cloward-Piven strategy. This is projection on steroids. The first 45 seconds of this clip are rather innocuous but Trumka makes up for it at the end. Wow, just wow.

Video: Frances Fox Piven Answers Glenn Beck

This is further evidence that Glenn Beck is onto something - when the people he warns about are captured in their own words, saying anti-American things. In this case, it's Frances Fox Piven, who along with her husband in 1966, authored a paper that encouraged people to take down governments by flooding welfare rolls. The consequence would be the opportunity to implement new, socialist governments. To learn more about that paper, click HERE.

Recently, Piven has been captured in a series of audio and video recordings in which she advocates the same thing on a much grander scale, including calls for violent protests. It apparently got to the point that she felt she had to publicly defend herself. What better venue for her to do so than MSNBC.

Here is 4 minutes of lies followed by almost 30 seconds at the end when Piven goes speechless in mid-sentence. It's possible she was about to say something incriminating and didn't know how to spin it. In any case, it was very bizarre. That moment starts at the 4:08 mark.
