Does Obama have an anti-Osama film problem?

In the days after the Benghazi attack, the Obama administration pointed to the anti-Muhammad video, Innocence of Muslims as the cause. They also repeated another mantra, that the U.S. Government had nothing to do with the making of the video (a puzzling assertion).

The administration is still waffling on whether or not the anti-Muhammad film had a hand in the attack on the Benghazi consulate. They're already on record as having referred to the video as 'disgusting' and 'reprehensible', regardless of whether they settle on the video's ability to incite riots and murderous attacks. Therefore, regardless of whether Barack, Hillary, et. al. finally and conclusively decide that the attack was planned and coordinated, they still must believe that a movie could theoretically cause such an attack. Here we are more than a month later and they're still not sure.

Enter National Geographic, which is apparently being inundated with threats because of a film being distributed by major Obama supporter Harvey Weinstein, that is set to air on that channel two days before the election.

The National Geographic Channel has beefed up security at its Washington headquarters after being “bombarded” by threats over its upcoming film, “SEAL Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden,” a source said yesterday.

The movie has prompted enough threats from what one source called “Muslim extremist groups” that the network felt it had to take the action.

“They have been bombarded with phone calls and blog posts, saying that anyone airing a film like this is asking for trouble,” the source added.

“Enough threats have come in that the network is on higher security alert. They have a huge public building, with a museum and 1,600 people working.”

The network was already receiving sharp criticism for its decision to debut the feature-length TV movie Nov. 4, two days before the presidential election. Critics charged the timing was calculated to boost President Obama’s campaign.

This is quite the conundrum for the administration. If violence follows the airing of the Osama movie, will said movie also be 'reprehensible' and 'disgusting'? Will the onus then be placed squarely on the rioters? If yes, then such an onus should be placed squarely on the attackers in Benghazi and the administration should stop waffling.

The Daily Mail adds this:

A spokesperson for National Geographic told the Post that the channel will air the film 'no matter what,' adding, 'we are big believers in the First Amendment.'

The movie will be available on Netflix streaming 24 hours after its TV premiere.

So, the cable channel that is airing the pro-Obama / anti-Osama film two days before the election, which is being distributed a huge Obama donor, is citing its first amendment right to air the movie, regardless of whom it offends. Presumably, so is Weinstein. In this case, threats are preceding the airing of the movie. If we are to believe the Obama administration when it comes to Benghazi, either it didn't know about any such threats to attack over Innocence of Muslims or it ignored them.

Nat Geo CEO David Lyle insists that the timing of the pro-Obama / anti-Osama film has nothing to do with politics, despite Weinstein's status as a huge Obama donor.

Yeah, right.

Concerns on the right are not about whether Weinstein or Nat Geo has the first amendment right to distribute / air the film. They do. The concerns are about politicizing an event that could have national security implications. SEAL Team Six prefers needs to operate under the radar for a reason.

Responsibility for any riots or violence that takes place will fall solely on the perpetrators but for the Obama administration to be consistent, it will have to waffle on such a conclusion.

That said, any attempt by the administration to assert that the U.S. Government had nothing to do with this film will be a much tougher sell given the content, the timing, and relationship of the distributor to the President.

Yes, Osama bin Laden is dead and the nineteen hijackers who rammed our own airliners into our own buildings in order to slaughter 3000 Americans are long gone but who provided al-Qaeda with the financing necessary to carry out these attacks and why were so many individuals and entities who were responsible, not mentioned in the 9/11 Commission Report at all?

Three Saudi Princes were outed by Abu Zubaydah thanks to Enhanced Interrogation Techniques (EIT); three hundred Saudis were permitted to fly out of the United States in the days after 9/11, many of whom were not questioned, including one of the three Princes; this means that U.S. authorities allowed at least one culpable Saudi Prince out of the country. Were there more?

The cold hard truth is that our government knew full well who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks and chose NOT to make them pay.

Unless, of course, you believe three Saudi Princes were solely responsible for the deaths of 3000 Americans.

Unsung David Anthony Shaffer on National Security Leaks: 'People have died'

Ret. Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer was on Fox and Friends yesterday morning to discuss the controversy over the national security leaks that allegedly came from the White House, despite Obama's claim that such a charge is "offensive."

Shaffer knows intelligence. He was an integral part of Able Danger, a data mining program that identified 9/11 hijackers, including Mohamed Atta, one year prior to 9/11. It's obvious that Shaffer is spitting mad about these leaks. It is his contention that these leaks originated at the "National Security level" at a minimum.

As for Able Danger, it was largely Shaffer's work on that operation, and how he stood up to the full governmental assault against him, that I thought warranted an entire chapter in my upcoming book, Unsung Davids, to tell his very courageous story.

Are the Navy SEALs Swiftboating Obama?

It takes quite a bit of gall to agitate the Navy SEALs but Barack Obama appears to have a sufficient amount. First up, here's an ad from a group known as Veterans for a Strong America, headed by decorated Iraqi war veteran, Joel Arends. The message is quite simple; Obama's narcissism is over-the-top  when it comes to his level of involvement in killing bin Laden. Also noteworthy is the fact that it isn't just veteran SEALs who are not pleased with Obama; the growing list also includes current ones.

In the wake of a warm conservative reception for a web video trashing the president for “spiking the football” on the anniversary of Osama Bin Laden’s death, the conservative group Veterans for a Strong America plans to gather Navy SEALs and Special Forces operators to criticize the White House during the 2012 campaign.

“We’re looking to [put together] a coalition, to field SEALs and operators that want to come out publicly,” executive director of Veterans for a Strong America, Joel Arends, tells BuzzFeed. “I’ve had a lot of discussions with former SEALs and current SEALs. I’ve been talking to operators in the community. There is palatable discontent.”

Arends, a 35-year old Iraq war veteran who has spent the last six years in conservative activist circles, started the group last fall during the Republican primaries.

Arends sat down with Fox's Megyn Kelly to discuss the campaign. If for no other reason, watch it for the steady stream of football metaphors.

Jihadist Targets... David Letterman?

Apparently, an on-line jihadist objected to David Letterman joking about the death of Osama bin Laden because the former is calling for the comedian's head. The strangely ironic part is it may have been Letterman's comparison between bin Laden's replacement and Sarah Palin that pushed Umar al Basrawi over the edge. The other strange part of Basrawi's post was that he called Letterman a 'Jew' even though the late night comedian is not Jewish. This should wake people up to the fact that jihadists do not just target Jews exclusively.

David Letterman has become terror target No. 1.

The new threat comes from a frequent poster on Islamic jihadist forums, Umar al Basrawi, who implored American Muslims to "cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever," according to the Middle East Media Research Institute, a non-profit that monitors online jihadists.

Letterman, who isn’t Jewish, became the object of al-Basrawi’s ire when the late-night funnyman told a joke about the death of Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda’s search for his replacement.

"So [al Qaeda] picked a successor to Osama bin Laden and his name was Ilyas Kashmiri," Letterman said during his opening monologue on June 8th, "well, guess what, he was blown up by an American drone."

"It wasn’t going to work anyways because they got off to a rocky start with this guy," Letterman continued, "he botched up the story of Paul Revere."

Apparently, comparing the dead terrorist to Sarah Palin was one step too many for al-Basrawi, who ended his online rant with, "We ask Allah to paralyze his tongue and grant the sincere monotheists his neck. Oh Allah, amen."

He then compared Letterman fate to the successful hit of Rabbi Meir Kahane, who was called by Islamic radicals in Brooklyn in 1990.

"To the righteous Muslims in America: Isn't there among you [a man like] Sayyid Nosair, the Egyptian, who can cut off the tongue of this lousy Jew and silence him forever, just like Sayyid – may Allah hasten his release – did to his fellow Jew, [Rabbi Meir] Kahane?" al-Basrawi wrote in a translation provided by MEMRI.

The reference to Paul Revere on the part of Letterman was obviously due to Sarah Palin's comments on her bus tour a few months back but what's interesting here is that Letterman is a far left guy. This is the kind of thing that should wake them up to the fact that they are not safe either.

By the way. Anyone remember another person who was called a 'Jew' who was not? Lara Logan, as she was suffering a sexual assault at the hands of a mob in Cairo.

Blago Invokes Bin Laden, Finally Throws Public a Bone in Second Trial

The re-trial of ousted Illinois Governor has for the most part, been a rather ponderous exercise. The prosecution didn't play those entertaining recordings of Rod Blagojevich this time around and the media has basically ignored the proceedings. By the time Blago's defense started, the trial had the wrong kind of media inertia going. The longer the trial garnered no interest, the more difficult it would be to to generate. Even taking the stand himself created virtually no interest.

There may be faint signs of life after Blago's fifth day of testimony, during which he said that one of the reasons he considered appointing himself to Obama's Senate seat was so he could get Osama bin Laden:

Catholic Church in Florida puts Osama Bin Laden on Prayer List

This is what can happen when Churches get lukewarm. A parishioner at a Catholic church in West Palm Beach, FL submitted a prayer request for none other than Osama Bin Laden. The church apparently took the next step and published the request in its bulletin. Some may have seen it as some kind of mistake but the pastor appears to have doubled down and is defending the act by saying those who don't like it are simply being ruled by irrational emotions.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The name of Osama bin Laden appears in the Holy Name of Jesus Sunday bulletin. There's a cross next to it.

A parishioner made a prayer request for the mastermind behind the 9/11 attack on America.

A church secretary took the Mass intention a week ago. She admitted she thought it was a joke at first. But few are laughing.

"I think it's totally wrong, he doesn't belong in the Catholic religion. For what he did to Americans, he doesn't belong anywhere," says Lois Pizzano, a Catholic Church member. "It's unconscionable, it's sacrilegious," said Pizzano.

Father Gavin Badway admits many in his congregation are unhappy. But he says the church has never turned down a prayer request before. He says making the right decision isn't always easy.

"Their hearts are troubled because they're thinking emotionally about what he has done and he has done a lot of evil. Nevertheless, Jesus tells us, love and forgive," says Father Badway, who is the church pastor.

Just because Christians are commanded to love their enemies doesn't mean Osama Bin Laden's name should appear in the church bulletin and be read aloud in prayer. Someone should ask the priest the last time a Jew or Christian appeared in a Mosque bulletin as anything other than a target of hate.

This is beyond shameful.

Video: Mock Funeral for Osama Bin Laden in Turkey

Let's recap. The Muslim Brotherhood condemned the killing of Bin Laden. Those who insist that Islam wants a return of the caliphate say that the headquarters of such a thing would be in Turkey, once the home of the Ottoman Empire. Bin Laden wanted an Islamic caliphate. Al-Qaeda was formed as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Perhaps those little factoids, when put together, might explain why thousands of Turks would gather together in Ankara and hold a mock funeral for Bin Laden. Turkey is clearly not the same country it was ten years ago.

This just doesn't get old. While on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, White House National Security Adviser Tom Donilon is asked by Wallace to explain the disparity between it being ok to shoot an un-armed Osama Bin Laden in the head but it's not ok to water-board Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. The response from Donilon was that water-boarding is 'against our values.' The look on Donilon's face after Wallace then asks him to explain how shooting a terrorist in the head isn't against our values while water-boarding a terrorist is, communicates that the an incoherent answer is forthcoming. On that, Donilon certainly delivered.

Osama Bin Laden and Saul Alinsky not that Far Apart

One similarity both Osama Bin Laden and Saul Alinsky share is that both are now dead. Another similarity appears to have been very similar tactics. In the case of uncle Saul - the father of Community Organizing - those tactics began with a very simple premise; exploit the poor and downtrodden by rubbing raw the sores of discontent. This is the mentality that helped give birth to ACORN. It promoted friction and strife along racial and economic lines. It's very well-documented. The class warfare that's taking place right now is being exacerbated by Barack Obama, the Community Organizer in chief and his administration.

Fast forward to Bin Laden's death and the confiscation of his hard drives. Much of the information found on those computers shows that Bin Laden employed the same tactics.

Osama bin Laden aspired to damage the United States not only through persistent terror attacks, but also by attempting to inflame race and class tensions in hopes of tearing down the country from the inside out, according to officials briefed on the evidence trove recovered from the al Qaeda leader's Pakistan compound.

According to materials in the cache of documents recovered in the U.S. Navy SEAL raid that brought down the terror leader, bin Laden planned to specifically recruit African-American Muslim converts to carry out attacks on the homeland. The goal was to not only kill and maim in the actual operations, but to create a divisiveness that would cause more damage than al Qaeda could ever hope to do on their own.

"Because there were many blacks in the U.S., he wanted to capitalize on them to further the jihadi cause," one U.S. official told ABC News. "Al Qaeda sees the black convert community as ripe for recruiting."

While it has long been known that radical preachers and some prison imams have targeted the convert community for jihad recruitment, the references show core al Qaeda's keen interest in the tactic.

Another very telling aspect to this is that CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper is now in denial mode over these claims.

Video: Grandson of Muslim Brotherhood Founder says Bin Laden Killing 'anti-Islamic'

Tariq Ramadan is the grandson of Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood - the same violently anti-semitc Muslim Brotherhood that has seized control of Egypt. While appearing on Australian Television for an interview with Tony Jones after the news of Bin Laden's killing, Ramadan was asked what he thought of the decision to kill, not capture Bin Laden. If you accept the fact that al-Qaeda and the Brotherhood share the exact same goal but differ on means, Ramadan's answer makes complete and total sense.

TONY JONES: What was your first reaction to the news that Osama bin Laden had finally been tracked down and killed?

TARIQ RAMADAN: You know, once again, just a week after what happened, I was in New York, and I condemn what happened. I think that this is completely against the Islamic value - and I said it: it's anti-Islamic.

At another point in the interview, Jones asked Ramadan if he accepted as fact that Bin Laden was responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Ramadan should have stopped after his first four words but apparently just couldn't resist:

TARIQ RAMADAN: Yes. I accept that. I don't have a - you know, between the conspiracy theory on one side and everything it should be clear on the other side, in between still there are lots of questions. There was no independent, you know, inquiry about what happened, and still now there are questions to be raised.

Huh?

By the way, Ramadan was once banned from entering the United States, based on his affiliations. That ban was lifted in 2010, courtesy of Hillary Clinton's pen. The truth is that al-Qaeda was spawned from the Muslim Brotherhood in much the same way that the Weather Underground was spawned from the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).

You really can't make this stuff up. Those who demanded to see Obama's Birth Certificates were called 'Carnival Barkers' by Obama himself. Meanwhile, he has a press secretary with the last name 'Carney' who, during the May 4th press briefing explained that Osama Bin Laden is 'not a Muslim leader' but a 'mass murderer.' Carney Barker then went on to explain why Osama's burial carefully adhered to Islamic customs. See for yourself. First up is Carney Barker's bit about Bin Laden not being a Muslim.



Wait for it. Here, Carney Barker says the efforts that were made to ensure that Bin Laden received a burial consistent with Islamic traditions were 'considerable.'

Left Doubling Down on Waterboarding

Maturity is simply non-existent in the left wing mind. The facts are coming out that the waterboarding of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed gave the CIA the name of Osama Bin Laden's courier; that courier led us to Bin Laden. According to Peter King (R-NY), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, that's exactly what happened. This is an extremely inconvenient truth for the left collectively, which demonized the CIA and the waterboarding of terrorists to get information. This reality is so inconvenient, in fact, that the left has decided to double down by denying it.

Via Slate, Diane Feinstein (D-CA) said the following in a press conference after having these facts presented to her:

"To the best of our knowledge," she said, "based on a look, none of it came as a result of harsh interrogation techniques."

How about White House counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan? When asked if waterboarding contributed in any way to finding Bin Laden, he flat out denied it. Here is the clip from Morning Joe:

Here is left wing hack, Alan Colmes, telling Bill O'Reilly that former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said waterboarding did not lead to Bin Laden's location. The exchange starts very early in this clip. Pay particularly close attention at the 4:30 mark. Here, O'Reilly makes an extremely prescient point with Colmes, who continued to press O'Reilly on the words of Rumsfeld. O'Reilly pointed out that he didn't talk to Rumsfeld and neither did Colmes. What happened one hour later - Rumsfeld cleared everything up on Hannity's show - underscored O'Reilly's point perfectly. Mark this down. On May 3, 2011, Alan Colmes set a new low watermark for himself.



Rumsfeld gave Colmes the proverbial face slap here just one hour later. Via Breitbart:

Video: Obama's CIA Chief Admits Waterboarding helped lead to Bin Laden

CIA Director Leon Panetta was interviewed by Obama sycophant and liberal media anchor Brian Williams of MSNBC to talk about the recent killing of Osama Bin Laden. There are a few good spots in this exchange to watch. First, at the 5:15 mark, Williams attempts Panetta to take a shot at the previous administration by asking the question if this same thing could have been done before going into Iraq and preventing the deaths of so many Americans. Panetta's response is basically 'no' but he takes a long time to get there.

At the 8:00 mark, Williams asks Panetta about Enhanced Interrogation Techniques and ends up having to phrase the question differently twice after that in order to get a straight answer. That straight answer was not to be but Panetta did admit that waterboarding was used and helped lead to Bin Laden.

Pakistan Likely Protected Osama Bin Laden Since 9/11

Wikileaks strikes yet again. If these files from the document dump are accurate, the relations between the United States and Pakistan - already seriously damaged when Osama was found a mere short walk from Pakistan's military academy - could reach a low quicker than anyone could have imagined. In addition to Osama's location, Wikileaks files reportedly show that Pakistani Intelligence has been protecting him since 2001. If true, it's likely they tipped him off to U.S. troop movement, possibly at Tora Bora in December, 2001. There are other reasons to be concerned with this latest find as well.

American diplomats were told that one of the key reasons why they had failed to find bin Laden was that Pakistan’s security services tipped him off whenever US troops approached.

Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate (ISID) also allegedly smuggled al-Qaeda terrorists through airport security to help them avoid capture and sent a unit into Afghanistan to fight alongside the Taliban.

The claims, made in leaked US government files obtained by Wikileaks, will add to questions over Pakistan’s capacity to fight al-Qaeda.

The files go on to explain how one Gitmo detainee bragged about his relationship with ISID.

Bin Laden's proximity to the military academy and his being protected by Pakistani officials for nearly ten years coupled with the 'treasure trove' of intelligence in his compound in the form of computer hard drives could necessitate breaking off all diplomatic relations with Pakistan, at bare minimum.

We Got Osama's Hard Drives

It's being called 'the motherlode of intelligence.' One of the benefits of finding Bin Laden and killing him is what he left behind - a treasure trove of information in the form of multiple sources. Computers, flash drives, etc. Officials are saying that even if a small amount of the information is actionable, it will be incredibly significant. In light of the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas both condemning Bin Laden's killing, it will be interesting to see how much of the intelligence exposes the complicity of those two groups with Bin Laden's activities.

The assault force of Navy SEALs snatched a trove of computer drives and disks during their weekend raid on Osama bin Laden’s compound, yielding what a U.S. official called “the mother lode of intelligence.”

The special operations forces grabbed personal computers, thumb drives and electronic equipment during the lightning raid that killed bin Laden, officials told POLITICO.

“They cleaned it out,” one official said. “Can you imagine what’s on Osama bin Laden’s hard drive?”

U.S. officials are about to find out. The material is being examined at a secret location in Afghanistan.

“Hundreds of people are going through it now,” an official said, adding that intelligence operatives back in Washington are very excited to find out what they have.

“It’s going to be great even if only 10 percent of it is actionable,” the official said.

There could also be significant information on Bin Laden's relationship with the Pakistani government.

Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas Condemn Osama Bin Laden Killing

The reaction to the reported death of Osama Bin Laden on the part of the group that has taken control of Egypt - the Muslim Brotherhood - is condemnation. Ditto for a group that resides squarely under the Brotherhood's umbrella - Hamas. This should call further into question the allegiances of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which has extremely close ties to Hamas. Something tells me that the leader of Egypt before the Brotherhood took over - Hosni Mubarak - would not have been nearly this disappointed.

CAIRO – Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood, a conservative organization with links around the Islamic world, has condemned the killing of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden by U.S. forces as an "assassination."

The Brotherhood, which seeks the establishment of a state run according to Islamic principles through peaceful means, is Egypt's most powerful and organized political movement.

Did you notice how the AP refers to the Muslim Brotherhood as a 'conservative organization?' That must be why conservatives were warning against allowing the group to take over control of Egypt while the liberal groups, media, Bill Ayers, etc. all screamed it was a freedom movement.

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip -- The leader of the Palestinian militant Hamas government in Gaza has condemned the United States for killing Al Qaeda chief Usama bin Laden.

Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh says the operation is "the continuation of the American oppression and shedding of blood of Muslims and Arabs."

Despite example after example that al-Qaeda, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, and practically every other Islamic group are all part of the same pot, western civilization continues to fail to connect the dots.

A CAIR spokesman in St. Louis spoke with a local news team about Bin Laden's death and publicly stated that he welcomed the news. Though Faizan Syed voiced a point of view different from that of the Brotherhood and Hamas, there is little doubt he did so for political expediency.

Bin Laden's Location Proof Pakistani Military Harboring al-Qaeda?

The U.K. Daily Telegraph has several photos of the compound where Osama Bin Laden was allegedly killed by a gunshot wound to the head courtesy of the Navy Seals. As details emerge, one extremely inconvenient report cannot bode well for relations between Pakistan and the United States. The compound was less than one mile away from Pakistan's military academy, which will certainly raise significant questions about Pakistan's relationship with al-Qaeda.

The compound is a few hundred metres from the the Pakistan Military Academy, an elite military training centre, which is Pakistan's equivalent to Britain's Sandhurst, according to the BBC's M Ilyas Khan who visited the area.

Earlier reports put the distance at about 200 yards (182 metres). Pakistan's military says the compound is 4km (2.4 miles) away from the academy.

But it lies well within Abbottabad's military cantonment - it is likely the area would have had a constant and significant military presence and checkpoints.

Pakistan's army chief is a regular visitor to the academy for graduation parades.

The operation began at about 2230 (1730 GMT) and lasted about 45 minutes, military sources told BBC Urdu. Two or three helicopters were seen flying low over the area. Witnesses say it caused panic among local residents.

But an IT consultant living in Abbottabad posted on twitter at about 0100 (2100 GMT) that a helicopter was hovering above Abbottabad. It is thought that he unknowingly tweeted details of what he could hear of the operation as it happened.

Another source of controversy is all but certain to be Bin Laden's burial at sea. The Daily Mail reports that it was done so early out of respect for Islamic customs and done at sea instead of in the ground to avoid a shrine.

U.S. officials have told broadcaster CNN that Bin Laden's body has already been buried at sea in order to prevent the grave from becoming a shrine for extremists.

Officials said the body would be handled according to Islamic practice and tradition. That practice calls for the body to be buried within 24 hours. Saudi Arabia reportedly declined to take the body.

CONGRESSIONAL BLACK CAUCUS MEMBER AIDS JIHADIST

The good news for Democratic Socialists is that Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-NY) isn't registered with their caucus - unlike 30 of the other 41 members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC). The bad news for the CBC is that Meeks has allegedly aided and abetted an ally of Osama bin Laden; if we were actually fighting an enemy we'd identify, Meeks would be getting tried for treason right now. Here's the tally so far. CBC has 42 members - 30 registered socialists, 1 traitor, and two members facing corruption trials.

US Rep. Gregory Meeks scolded immigration officials for questioning a Muslim scholar whose nonprofits have been linked to financing terrorism.

The Queens Democrat contacted federal agencies -- finally appealing to then-Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff -- asking why Anwar Hajjaj faced "unwarranted scrutiny" when he returned to the United States from trips abroad through JFK Airport.

Meeks described Hajjaj as a "highly regarded" professor of Islamic studies who leads Friday Muslim prayers at the Capitol.

Meeks said Hajjaj was "a pioneer in distance-based learning of Islam" through the American Open University in Virginia, according to a copy of the Sept. 30, 2006, letter to Chertoff, which was obtained by The Post under a Freedom of Information Act request.

That's not all.

The Post has learned Hajjaj also headed the Taibah International Aid Association, a charity that has been accused of funding Osama bin Laden and al Qaeda. The group was co-founded by Abdullah A. bin Laden, Osama bin Laden's nephew, who has been investigated for his ties to groups that have funded al Qaeda and Hamas.

Perhaps one of the more interestingly telling excerpts from the article is this one:

Hajjaj, 65, told The Post that he was routinely harassed and sometimes missed flights when he traveled to and from Saudi Arabia for the pilgrimage to Mecca.

"It was an awful experience under the Bush administration," he said. "Now under Obama, I have no complaints."

Not that they'll care much but there's another possible explanation for those on the left who can't understand why 20% of Americans think Obama is a Muslim.

As for Meeks, he should jump to the front of the line, leap-frogging both Rangel and Waters when it comes to trials.
