VIDEO: CHRIS MATTHEWS HEARTS OBAMA'S 'CUTE' SMILE

I think we can safely say that Chris Matthews has officially doubled down on the leg tingle. After watching a clip of Obama talking to the press, Matthews commented that he missed that 'Cute, wonderful, boyish smile we all love.' I actually found the look on Eugene Robinson's face after Matthews went there worth watching because it certainly deserves a caption. At this point, the only thing left for Matthews to confirm is whether or not Obama's 'wonderful, cute, boyish smile' gives him a leg tingle. If that cause and effect relationship does exist, Matthews has a serious problem and should just come out of the closet.

VIDEO: CHRIS MATTHEWS SAYS 'THRILL' IS ALL OVER HIM NOW

Just when you thought MSNBC's Chris 'Don't call it a tingle, it's a thrill' Matthews couldn't possibly get anymore mileage out of the thrill that runs up his leg every time he hears a Barack Obama speech, he delivers. This time, while talking about Obama's 2004 speech at the Democratic convention, Matthews confesses that the thrill has moved up his leg and is 'all over' him. Yes, that is a quote. He also gets defensive in this exchange when his 'thrill' is inadvertently mis-characterized as a 'tingle'.

There's also something to be said for how these left wingers stretch and strain to justify Obama by comparing him to Reagan, constantly trying to make the case that he measures up. Contrast what the right did when talking about Reagan compared to Carter, for example. They fought to draw as stark a contrast as possible.

Oh, one other thing about that 'thrill' Chris doesn't like. Make sure you get the direction correct. As Pat Buchanan found out, you shouldn't refer to the thrill as running "down" the leg. It runs "up" the leg. That makes sense in retrospect now. If the thrill rand down the leg, there would be no way for it to run 'all over' Chris.

This is great. While Chris "Thrill up my leg" Matthews is badgering a guest about his knowledge of Republican leadership, the guest plucks the nerve that gave Matthews that original leg thrill. Take note of Matthews' response. It is truly priceless.

The look on his face says everying despite the fact that he tries to play it off like he doesn't know what his guest is talking about. Then note how the guest begins laughing because he knows he's turned the tables instantly.

Chris Matthews gets YET ANOTHER Thrill!

This time, Chris Matthews' thrill courtesy of Sonia "Don't you DARE call me a racist" Sotomayor. I'm beginning to think that these thrills of his may actually be from bad shoes or too much coffee. In either case, he really should have it checked out. These thrills are starting to become chronic.
