Wake Up, Marco! Your Gang of Eight Buddy speaking to Che Guevara supporters

'Gang of Eight' member, Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) attended a 'May Day' rally in Chicago. During that rally, he spoke to a crowd that had clearly identified itself as being filled with communists. In fact, as Durbin was speaking, there was a rather large Che Guevara flag being waved from about the tenth row; there is no way that Durbin didn't see it. Though, when asked by a reporter from Breitbart, he attempted to laugh off as ridiculous, any notion that there were communists or socialists in the audience.

Little more than two weeks ago, Rubio made the Sunday talk show circuit and was asked about Jay-Z's trip to Cuba. Rubio pointed out that one of Jay-Z's heroes is Che Guevara. The Senator from Florida then pointed out that Guevara was a racist and a murderer.

It's not just that Durbin spoke at a rally that had a Guevara flag. It's that the movement he was speaking to - and attempted to defend when it became obvious he couldn't deny - was communist and that support for Che Guevara in that crowd was pervasive.

Rubio understands communism and he knows the history of Cuba better than most Americans. Marco himself is quite educated on the subject as well. He often talks of his close childhood relationship with his grandfather, who couldn't stand Castro.

His alliance with Durbin on anything was misplaced and ill-advised. For starters, communists lie so when someone like Durbin attempts to deny he spoke to communists and then defended the act because it was his only play at that point, it's right to ask if he'd be lying if he says he isn't a communist sympathizer.

Back in January, I wrote that Rubio's first mistake with the 'gang of 8' was engaging with members of that group at all; aligning with Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) on anything was a mistake. The optics of Rubio yucking it up with these guys would not do him any favors. Nonetheless - and for whatever reason - he thought he could get something done by working with them. Conservatives knew better.

Since joining the Gang of Eight, Rubio has had a lot of trouble selling it. In the end, the only thing he might have to show for it is this:

As an aside, here is another instance of Durbin-style denial on May Day. Only in this instance, the person in denial is a local NBC News reporter in New York City. If you've ever found yourself scratching your head about why the mainstream media doesn't cover what's blatantly obvious, here is the perfect microcosm for you.

This woman's responses are worse than Durbin's. When asked about Communist flags at the event she's covering, she pretends they don't exist despite the fact that they're waving all around her.

It is amazing what the liberal mind will deny in the interest of ideology. This has got to be a form of mental illness on display.

Despite revelations shortly before the 2012 election, that Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) had become so mentally unstable that he believed he was a reincarnated chariot driver, he was still overwhelmingly elected with more than 60% of the vote. Now, just a few months later, he's going to serve significant jail time for using campaign contributions to enrich himself.

Useful Idiot Hilarity: Chicago Protesters don't know what their Protest Signs mean

Instant classic. May Day (May 1st) in Chicago. When protesters holding signs were asked what their signs meant, not one (of many) could answer. When given the opportunity to explain in the only language they understood (Spanish), they still couldn't explain what their English signs meant.

At one point, a bi-lingual man came by to help translate. When asked by the cameraman if the sign-holders were getting paid, the translator suddenly didn't want to talk. If payment was involved, I wonder if it included granola bars.

Video: (Father) Pfleger Race Baits from Pulpit using Trayvon Martin statue

Someone please tell me why this guy is still a Catholic priest. There's nothing quite like race-baiting from the pulpit while using visual aids to help you do it. St. Sabina pastor (and Jeremiah Wright / Barack Obama friend) Michael Pfleger used a wooden statue of Trayvon Martin holding bags of skittles and Iced Tea to make his point from the altar that blacks need to demand justice from their government. Disgraceful doesn't even begin to explain this.

One question: If the Catholic Church refuses to defrock / excommunicate this guy, how can it be expected to do the right thing with Obama's HHS contraception mandate?

Big Government: There is Video of that Saul Alinsky play Obama attended

Yesterday, Andrew Breitbart's legacy began with an explosive revelation about Barack Obama's attendance at a play and participation in a panel discussion afterward; that 1998 play celebrated the life of Saul Alinsky. Now BG is reporting there is a lone video recording of the play and it's in the hands of an Obama supporter who directed the play. Her name is Pam Dickler and she has no intention of coughing it up.

“There is only one archive tape of the play and I have it,” Dickler informed our source. “It is not in Chicago.”

Dickler told our source that she doesn’t believe she’s ever watched the tape, and she doesn’t know if it “can be viewed.” But she added: “No one is going to see the tape.”

She said she felt “very protective over it … due to all of the interest from conservatives recently.” She also told our source that the poster for the play was never supposed to be distributed.

Dickler added that there were no transcripts of the panel discussion.
“They didn’t know he was going to go on to become the president,” she said. “If they had known that, they would have of course kept any transcripts, but there were never any taken.”

Am I the only one who had flashbacks to this story from 2008 after reading that? The Los Angeles Times sat on a video of Barack Obama that likely would have prevented him from becoming president.

Breitbart's Vetting of Obama starts... Today

When he appeared at CPAC last month, Andrew Breitbart pledged that he would vet Barack Obama this election year. That vetting process is going to include the political version of Chinese water torture. The first drip was penned by Andrew before his death and it includes a poster from 1998 that promoted a play about Saul Alinsky. Guess whose name appeared on that poster.

You guessed it.

So, what’s in the play? It truly is a love song to Alinsky. In the first few minutes of the play, Alinsky plays Moses – yes, the Biblical Moses – talking to God. The play glorifies Alinsky stealing food from restaurants and organizing others to do the same, explaining, “I saw it as a practical use of social ecology: you had members of the intellectual community, the hope of the future, eating regularly for six months, staying alive till they could make their contributions to society.”

Interestingly, although the play began with Alinsky playing Moses, it ended with Obama's ideological mentor explaining that he preferred going to hell than to heaven:

The play finishes with Alinsky announcing he’d rather go to Hell than Heaven. Why? “More comfortable there. You see, all my life I’ve been with the Have-Nots: here you’re a Have-Not if you’re short of money, there you’re a Have-Not if you’re short of virtue. I’d be asking more questions, organizing them. They’re my kind of people – Hell would be Heaven for me.”

That’s The Love Song of Saul Alinsky. It’s radical leftist stuff, and it revels in its radical leftism.

Fits right in line with Alinsky's dedication in his book, Rules for Radicals:

“Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history... the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom — Lucifer.”

If this is merely the opening salvo in an all-out offensive against Obama, it's a big one.

OWS Dormant, not Dead

Back in late September of 2011, Van Jones predicted that OWS protesters would bring about an 'American autumn' similar to the 'Arab Spring' and he put all of his eggs in the October basket. Though OWS did raise a ruckus, a stink, and many other undesirable things all across the country, they proved to be a very expensive and violent nuisance more than anything else. The movement dragged on into the winter months and appeared to disintegrate.

Now there seems to be chatter that OWS will be coming out of its collective hole in the spring, leading up to the main event at the Democratic convention in September, to be held in Charlotte, NC.

A coalition of U.S. radical groups, including the Occupy Movement, are preparing protests to target the Democratic National Convention in September in Charlotte, N.C.

The Occupy movement is likely to escalate months before the Sept. 3-6 event. A slew of extremist organizations, some tied to President Obama, are preparing protests to coincide with major NATO and G-8 summits slated for Chicago in May.

Foreshadowing possible violent confrontations, some of the same radical trainers behind the infamous 1999 Seattle riots against the World Trade Organization have been mobilizing new protest efforts geared toward world summits.

The plans for the Democratic convention are posted on a central website, ProtestDNC.org. More than three dozen organizations, including labor, anti-war and so-called civil rights and immigrants rights groups are joining together to initiate a coalition.

Klein reports too, that OWS appears to already be setting up shop in Chicago, which is where both the NATO and G8 summits will be held.

Here is Van Jones on September 29, 2011. Fast forward to the 2:00 mark. Based on what he was predicting, OWS didn't accomplish what he wanted it to, which is why it's important to be vigilant in the spring. If OWS gives it another whirl, they're likely to be more violent.

Immunity Deal between U.S. and Sinaloa Cartel?

The layers on the Fast and Furious onion continue to get peeled back, one at a time. The latest is a charge by a drug trafficking defendant who is claiming that Sinaloa drug cartel leaders were given immunity in exchange for information on rival gangs.

A Mexican drug trafficker awaiting trial in a Chicago federal court claims that the notorious Sinaloa cartel received weapons from “Operation Fast and Furious” under an alleged immunity agreement that the U.S. government made with cartel leaders, in exchange for information on rival gangs.

The defendant in a trafficking case before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Vicente Jesus Zambada-Niebla, also claims the immunity deal allowed the criminal cartel to “continue to smuggle tons of illicit drugs” into the United States.

He wants the U.S. government to provide documents relating to the botched gun running sting operation along the southwest border, arguing that it would benefit his defense.

The defendant, Vicente Jesus Zambada-Niebla, makes the case that because the U.S. government sanctioned gun trafficking to the Sinaloa cartel, he should be granted some form of immunity as well, but there's a small problem. Our U.S. government is denying the allegation has merit:

The defendant argued that he is protected from federal prosecution for trafficking drugs into the U.S. between 2004 and 2009 under an alleged immunity deal struck between the U.S. government and Sinaloa leaders.

According to court documents, Zambada-Niebla claims that the immunity deal provided the cartel’s leadership with “carte blanche to continue to smuggle tons of illicit drugs into Chicago and the rest of the United States” in exchange for information on rival drug cartels.

U.S. prosecutors deny the existence of such an immunity deal between the U.S. government and the cartel. 

Nevertheless, the U.S. government last September filed a motion to invoke the Classified Information Procedures Act, which is aimed at assuring that national security information stemming from criminal cases – such as details associated with CIA operations – are not leaked to the public during court proceedings.

As a drug trafficker, Zambada-Niebla would be in a position to know of any such immunity deal. Then again, he is a drug trafficker who could be using the Fast and Furious scandal to his advantage.

That said, these charges have been made by others.

In any event, this is another blow to Holder's DOJ and the Obama administration. The fact that Zambada-Niebla trafficked drugs to Chicago during Obama's tenure as a US Senator is interesting as well.

Video: Occupy Chicago Protester, Retired Teacher, wants to Collapse American Government

The first video below answers a lot of questions in less than two minutes. The second video simply underscores those answers with corroborating evidence. If you want to know why the public education system has produced such mindless adults, consider that the man in this video taught quite a few children over the years. Also, consider that he's calling for a growth in government while collecting nearly $8,000 / month through his pension. His name is Roger Fraser and he just beams with joy whenever he is protesting with OWS. He also appears to subscribe to the Cloward Piven strategy, which calls for overwhelming the system with unsustainable entitlement programs. Lost on him, however, is that if the system is ever collapsed, his pension check would no longer show up in his mailbox.

On Tuesday, militant, Marxist, anti-war, and gay-rights activists–including some suspected of providing material support to foreign terrorist organizations–led the Occupy Chicago protesters into City Hall to stage an “in your face” protest directed at Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

We caught up with one protester, Roger Fraser, a retired Palatine, Illinois school teacher. Fraser is a proud member of the “99%” who earns a modest $7,792.75 a month from his pension.

Fraser is also known as a militant gay rights activist and a member of the Gay Liberation Network–the same organization founded by Chicago G-8 and NATO protest organizer–and militant, anti-war, social-justice radical–Andy Thayer.

The only thing more amazing than the fact that this guy lacks so much intelligence at such a stage of physical maturity is that he used to teach kids.

Wonder no more why OWS consists of so many intellectually vacant drones. They would almost warrant pity if they weren't so dangerous.



Teachers like Fraser produce upstanding young gentlemen like this one. While marching in an Occupy Chicago protest carrying a 'For Sale' sign, this guy completely fails to enunciate one cogent sentence after being asked to explain what it means.

Illinois Governor Appoints Muslim Brotherhood Leader

Illinois Governor and Rod Blagojevich successor, Pat Quinn (D) has appointed the Secretary-General for the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) to an official advisory council. Again, ISNA is a member organization of a group whose charter consists of a mandate to bring down America from within by... gaining positions of political power and influence. It also was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial, the largest terrorism financing trial in US history. It should be no surprise then, that Saafa Zarzour does indeed have extensive ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Mr. Zazour is a board member and President of the Chicago chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR.) Investigative research posted on GMBDR has determined that CAIR had it origins in the U.S. Hamas infrastructure and documents released in the Holy Land Trial have revealed that the founders and current leaders of CAIR were part of the Palestine Committee of the Muslim Brotherhood as well as identifying the organization itself as being another part of the U.S. Brotherhood. A recent post discussed an interview with the Deputy leader of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood in which he confirms a relationship between his organization and CAIR.

CAIR was another unindicted co-conspirator in the HLF trial.

In a press release, all the members appointed to the council are listed. Interestingly, one of them is Ahmed Rehab of CAIR. In 2008, while appearing on the O'Reilly Factor, Rehab expressed solidarity with imam Jamal Said in Chicago. Said was a close friend of Osama bin Laden's mentor, Abdullah Azzam.

Shocking Video: Khilafah Conference in Chicago - Sharia Coming to America

This is amazing video from the Islamic Khilafa Conference in Chicago recently. The event was promoted as 'Revolution in the Muslim World: From Tyranny to Triumph.' At first glance, you might be led to believe that it's about championing the cause of the uprisings in the Middle East but it's much more than that. For example, fast forward to the 5:00 mark and take note of when this speaker - Muhammed Abu Anas - begins talking about western media. He, himself, says that liberal media outlets who say the uprisings are about a desire for liberal, secular democracies are being deceptive. What more proof do you need that the liberal media is nothing but a bunch of useful idiots?

It goes downhill from there. Everything the left claims the Arab Spring is about is shot down by the proponents of that Arab Spring, including Anas. He openly admits that Islam and liberal democracy cannot co-exist. Take note at the 8:00 mark too. Listen to what he has to say about secularism; it is an 'illusion.' At the 9:00 mark, the audience begins shouting 'Allah-hu Akbar,' which continues throughout.

At the 10:45 mark, they shout this chant after Anas declares the desire of the 'Ummah' (Muslim people) is to achieve a global Islamic Government.

Video: Chicago - Inspired Executive Order

I know that Obama's lies are too numerous to count but the one I'd like to refer to in setting up this clip is when he said, 'I am not an ideologue.' Currently in the works is an Executive Order that will require anyone seeking a government contract to report who they've given money to. In short, what the EO says is: If you've given money to entities we've identified as enemies of this administration, you will not get the contract. Such a tactic has 'Chicago politics' written all over it. This video features House members Rep. Jack Kingston (R-GA) and Rep. Todd Rokita (R-IN) explaining why this cannot be permitted.

Blagojevich Takes the Stand, Crickets Chirp

Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich took the stand during his re-trial and it went virtually unnoticed by media outlets. A day earlier, Rahm Emanuel and Jesse Jackson, Jr. testified and that too was practically ignored. Blago's decision to testify was likely rooted in desperation as the prosecution greatly scaled back the circus atmosphere of the first trial. As for his testimony, reports suggest that Blago did his best to play the sympathy card; at this point, it's really all he's got left. Based on the reports, it appears that the gravity of what the former Governor is facing is starting to set in.

With all eyes on him, Rod Blagojevich stood up, buttoned his suit-coat, pecked his wife on the cheek, then made the walk across a federal courtroom.

After years of false promises and of making statements only in front of television cameras, the former governor of Illinois on Thursday raised his right hand and took an oath before sitting in the witness chair.

“I’m Rod Blagojevich,” he said to jurors with a hint of nervousness. “I used to be your governor, and I’m here today to tell you the truth.”

And over the next few hours he told them quite a bit.

He admitted his salty language on secret FBI tapes made him “an effin’ jerk,” confessed to having “a man crush” on Alexander Hamilton, then showed a video of himself and Jesse Jackson Jr. hugging it out.

Rod Blagojevich even choked up when talking about meeting his wife.

In the first trial, the prosecution's tactics almost seemed to benefit Blago while embarrassing the Obama administration. The second trial appears to be doing the exact opposite. Again, perhaps the biggest mistake Blago made was deciding not to put up a defense in the first trial. He might have been able to capitalize on the local media frenzy and gotten the trial even more attention. He didn't and the second trial has garnered virtually ZERO interest, even with his testimony.

Blago Trial: Rahm and Jesse Jackson Jr. Take Stand, no Fireworks

The entertaining circus that was the first Rod Blagojevich trial is certainly missing from the second trial, despite both Rahm Emanuel and Jesse Jackson, Jr. both taking the stand. The big difference so far is that in the first trial, the prosecution played a lot of tapes which actually served to ingratiate Blago with the public. They humanized him and were often quite funny, cuss words notwithstanding. The prosecution didn't do any of that this time around and Blago has garnered little to no attention as a result.

In the first trial, Blago's lawyers were effective at playing up the possibility that Emanuel, Jackson, Jarrett, and a host of other high profile people would be called to the stand, including Blago himself. It had an air of, 'if you think the prosecution's arguments were entertaining, you just wait.' What ensued was an anti-climax, the likes of which haven't been seen since Geraldo opened Capone's vault. No one was called. In hindsight, that may have been Blago's biggest mistake. He had an opportunity to capitalize on the inertia of the very dynamic circus atmosphere.

The second trial is proving to have the opposite kind of inertia. The prosecution induced yawn's and virtually no attention. When it became Blagojevich's turn, the decision to call Emanuel and Jackson to the stand didn't even get the ball rolling. Their testimony was a virtual non-event.

In their cross-examination of U.S. Rep Jesse Jackson Jr., prosecutors asked him about an unrelated incident, previously reported by the AP. Jackson confirmed Blagojevich had once considered Jackson's wife for a position as head of the Illinois lottery. Jackson said his wife didn't get the promised appointment after Jackson refused to give Blagojevich a $25,000 campaign donation.

Jackson claimed Blagojevich later apologized the appointment didn't pan out but made it clear the donation was part of the reason.

"He snapped both fingers and said, 'You should have given me that $25,000,'" Jackson testified, pantomiming a pose from the governor's idol, Elvis Presley.

Another high-profile witness to take the stand Wednesday was Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.

Emanuel testified that, in his former job as chief of staff to President Barack Obama, he knew of no deal in which Blagojevich had asked for a top job in exchange for appointing Obama's preferred candidate to the president-elect's vacant U.S. Senate seat in 2008.

This may all come down to whether Blago decides to throw a Hail Mary pass and testify at his own trial. It may be all he has left. If the testimony of Jackson and Emanuel isn't drawing the much needed attention Blago's team wants, there really aren't any more options.

Video: Cardinal who Suspended Michael Pfleger has Protesters on his Lawn

Frankly, Father Michael Pfleger should have been defrocked three years ago when he was simply suspended for two weeks by Cardinal Francis George. Upon his return then, Pfleger remained on as Pastor of St. Sabina Catholic Church in Chicago. Nonetheless, there was recently an indication from the Cardinal that Pfleger would be reassigned to a local High School - that may help solve the St. Sabina problem but it helps to cause one somewhere else. Pfleger publicly stated he would not accept that career change and was subsequently suspended by George.

In a letter sent to Pfleger, Francis Cardinal George wrote, "your ministry as pastor of Saint Sabina Parish and your sacramental faculties as priest of the Archdiocese are suspended…this suspension permits you to retain the office of pastor while temporarily without permission to function."

Cardinal Francis George stated in the letter that Pfleger's recent comments in the media about leaving the Catholic Church if he was assigned to a position at Leo High School was the cause for the suspension.

Here's the news report that goes along with the story. Notice the endorsement Pfleger gets from Mayor Richard Daley. That should be the first indication to the Cardinal that he's making the right decision.

Video: Liberal Protester Foams at the Mouth (Literally)

Here is a cartoon liberal come to life. This guy, while at the MoveOn.org protest in Chicago, literally begins foaming at the mouth while starting off his argument by making a bet with money he doesn't have. After being challenged about actually having the million dollars, he says, 'Oh yeah, I'll get it.' He then goes into some Muhammad Ali-inspired diatribe about being able to fight Republicans. I'll give him this though. He said he's the 'meanest liberal in the land' and I guess if you were to envision such a creature, it would come with face hole froth but this guy's really missing some key attributes that would land him the honor.

Would the meanest liberal in the land have feathers in his hat?

Video: Chicago Mayoral Candidate calls Opponent 'Crack' Addict inside Jeremiah Wright's old Church

If we accept the premise that Rahm Emanuel is the front-runner in the race for Chicago's next mayor, the candidate right behind him is Carol Mosely Braun. Behind Braun is a woman named Patricia Van Pelt-Watkins. At a candidate's forum that took place inside the now infamous church made so by the fiery sermons of Jeremiah Wright, Braun indignantly accused Pelt-Watkins of being 'strung out on crack' for the last twenty years. It was truly surreal to watch all of this transpire inside a church - Barack Obama's church for 20 years.

Why on earth, would a heated political debate take place inside a house of worship?

ULSTERMAN REPORT: OBAMA'S COMING CHICAGO PROBLEM

After the prediction by Ulsterman's 'White House Insider' that there was no way Nancy Pelosi would hold on to the Democrat House leadership position proved incorrect, the credibility of WHI took a hit. However, the claims made by WHI in the days before Pelosi did retain that position do sound credible. The charge made by WHI was that Pelosi had the goods on Obama and was ready to leak them after leaving office. Speaking hypothetically at the time, WHI stated that if Pelosi DID stay on as minority leader, it would mean that the White House cut a deal with her.

Whether true or not, it is plausible and WHI has not spoken to Ulsterman since. However, he had already pointed the anonymous blogger in the direction of what he/she insisted was a coming scandal and it had to do with Obama's ties to Chicago. Despite WHI's incorrect prediction on Pelosi, several other predictions proved correct.

In any event, Ulsterman seems to be following the Chicago trail and it seems to lead - at least in part - to Broadway Bank and Obama's friend Alexi Giannoulias:

President Obama and fellow Democrat and former executive of now-failed Broadway Bank Alexi Giannoulias have known one another for well over a decade. Both men’s political careers were running similar arcs until Obama catapulted to national prominence following his speech at the 2004 Democratic Party National Convention. While Giannoulias remained in Illinois to serve as Treasurer, Obama won a position as a United States Senator, and shortly after, the White House.

Interestingly, the FDIC report on the failed bank should have been released by October, six months after the bank's closing on April 23rd. It was put off until after the election.

Last week the FDIC released a summary report on the failure of Broadway Bank. The cost to taxpayers to bail out the bank’s deposits was nearly $400 million dollars. Nearly $30 million dollars had been loaned to organized crime figures in recent years.

Could it be that the WHI is still talking to Ulsterman but not wanting any of their discussions published? WHI did concede that if Pelosi ended up with the Democratic leadership position, it would leave him/her exposed.

WHITE HOUSE INSIDER SPEAKING AGAIN, MORE CLUES ON SCANDAL TO HIT SOON

The anonymous blogger known as Ulsterman is reporting that he has again heard from the alleged 'White House Insider' (WHI) regarding the Obama administration's panic level. Of particular note is the Washington Post Op-Ed written by two Democrats - Doug Schoen and Pat Caddell. The two men are calling for Obama to publicly announce he will not run for re-election in 2012. This is a huge development and WHI says it is a sign that Hillary is indeed going for the nomination.

Here is the alleged email via Ulsterman's latest at Newsflavor:

Hello again. Assume you noted all of the incoming by Democrats against Pres? Of particular note is that of Doug S. Doug has been acting as Hillary’s gadfly for some time now. Very connected. Very insightful. Very good. One to be feared. I like Doug. His and Pat’s open declaration against President is clear signal Hillary camp fully engaged. Developing. And gotta love Pat. He’s back in it now! I strongly suspect they know of Obama’s coming scandal(s). Foundation being set in place for all out offensive going into 2012. The DC diaper is full up and in need of a change…

As for particulars on Obama, much info received this past week. All pointing to Obama as very upset/angry at treatment by world leaders and media RE trip. Behind scenes mood “dejected and confused”. Later noted as “emotionally debilitated”. Reported outburst between President and First Lady. What makes this account unique is that “…President stood his ground.” WH staff involved in serious protective plan for President regarding incoming scandal. Very fearful of Issa. Told WH reps have already visited Issa office several times since election. Promises made? Issa is bright and loves attention. Could prove formidable vs White House. Staff sent to Chicago this past week and DA is heading there on more permanent basis in coming weeks. Why? Why indeed. PAY ATTENTION.

Lastly RE question on “missile” off CA. I have no -expletive- clue what that was. Go ahead and file that question with your birther question from last time. Any more of these and you’ll be waiting another month or two or ten before we have next sit down.

Note that WHI is continuing to point to Chicago as a flashpoint for the alleged scandal that is expected to reach the administration's highest levels. Ulsterman gives further indication about what it might be by publishing another article on the same day he published the aforementioned email from WHI. One has to conclude that WHI would almost necessarily be the source of this article if these communications between an anonymous blogger and an unnamed source are legitimate.

The scandal has to do with the Giannoulias family bank that was shut down last April. Via Ulsterman:

On April 23rd of 2010, Federal regulators shut down the Giannoulias family run Broadway Bank in Chicago. At that time, Alexi Giannoulias, former Broadway Bank Vice President and chief loan officer, was embroiled in a tough Senate campaign against Republican rival Mark Kirk. Normally the FDIC would issue a findings report on a failed lending institution within six months of its closing. On October 22nd, Feds declared no report would be forthcoming until after the November 2nd elections. Now some three weeks later, still no report has been issued.

The Obama White House has close ties to the Giannoulias family, dating back to whenBarack Obama was just beginning his political career as an Illinois State Senator. According to a New York Times report in 2007, Obama and Alexi Giannoulias met in the late 1990s at the upscale East Bank Club in Chicago. The Giannoulias family was a well known political fundraising power for Illinois Democrats, and Alexi was at the forefront of the family’s political ambitions when he and Barack Obama became friends. As Obama worked his way up the Illinois political ladder, Giannoulias expanded his role and responsibilities within Broadway Bank. The two men were so aligned politically and professionally that Obama kept much of his senatorial campaign funds with Broadway Bank.

Incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee on Government Reform, Darrell Issa is said to be looking at this development very closely.

VIDEO: WHY DID THIS MAN VISIT THE WHITE HOUSE?

Hatem Abudayyeh is the Executive Director of the Arab American Action Network (AAAN). The AAAN is the group responsible for sponsoring the 2003 dinner for Obama friend Rashid Khalidi. The Los Angeles Times was in possession of a videotape before the 2008 election that showed Barack Obama speaking about Khalidi at that event but refused to release it. Last week, the FBI raided the home of Abudayyeh, reportedly seeking documents that show connections to Hamas.

Now it is learned that earlier this year, in April Abudayyeh visited the White House. In light of recent developments, that visit should be explained immediately.


Khalidi is also the man who founded the AAAN. When Obama was director of the Woods Foundation in the 1990's, he oversaw $40,000 in grant money issued to the AAAN. Abudayyeh rose up through the ranks after joining AAAN in 1999.

In addition to the $40,000 in grant money from the Woods Foundation, the AAAN also received well over $450,000 in City Taxpayer grants since 1998. That timeline, when coupled with Obama's political career is interesting since Obama's political career was launched in the home of Bill Ayers. Obama started his career as a state senator in 1997.
