NAACP: National Association for the Advancement of Communists and Progressives

Can we now say that the National Association for the Advancement of Communists and Progressives (NAACP) is officially not interested in defending blacks against racism at all? It's been widely believed but this is another in a long line of examples that the NAACP simply uses race as a weapon to further its own cause. Based on its silence in the face of Progressive protesters who called for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to be lynched and 'sent back to the fields,' rational people are led to only one conclusion. The NAACP doesn't care about furthering the advancement of blacks, just black liberals. In fact, it's on the same side with blacks who resent black conservatives more than the 'Klan' (see email below).

Via the Daily Caller:
The NAACP won’t directly address the racism displayed by progressive protesters outside a summit hosted by billionaire brothers Charles and David Koch at the end of January in Palm Springs, Calif., but the organization did call for an end to all “vitriolic language.”

In response to The Daily Caller’s request for comment on a video showing progressive protesters calling for somebody to “string up” African American Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, or “send him back into the fields” or “cut off all his toes and feed them to him one-by-one,” NAACP spokesman Hilary Shelton pointed to the organization’s recent resolution calling for a “civil political discourse.”
Beyond that, a female black conservative named Deneen Borelli sent an email to Shelton last year asking for the NAACP to repudiate originators of emails sent to Borelli that were incredibly racist and hateful. He failed to respond to her even after appearing opposite her on a television interview in which she brought it up specifically. Here is an excerpt of an email Borelli received that she forwarded to Shelton and got no response:
“You faggot niggas need to be lynched by the Klan. I pray a nightrider strings up every one of you no count good for nothing niggas, it would serve you right for trying to think that these crackers love you. I hate a house nigga worse than I do a Klansman. Rot in hell you scurvy dogs. I would laugh to see you body strung up. It would save us real brothers the time and trouble to do it.”
Here is the exchange between Borelli and Shelton that preceded her attempt to reach out to him with that email.

NAACP Disgrace: Boxing in George Washington

At an NAACP rally in Columbia, SC yesterday a statue of America's first president - George Washington - was prevented from being seen by those in attendance. This is flag burning on steroids. Let there be no doubt that there is nothing but sheer contempt for this country's founding and the vast majority of those who hold that contempt are either supporters of Barack Obama or have withdrawn their support because he's not radical enough.

Maine Governor to NAACP: 'Kiss My Butt'

How would you like some red meat with that Tea? Coming right up. His name is Gov. Paul LePage and after being asked by a reporter for his response to the NAACP's claims that his being unavailable to attend ceremonies honoring Martin Luther King Jr., is problematic responded with, 'Tell them to kiss my butt.' Immediately after that, he began laughing and pointed to his handler as being uncomfortable? My question to that handler is why? I'm sure the vast majority of calls into the Governor's office in response to his comments will be positive.

Ask yourselves. How many Americans would love to tell the NAACP to kiss their butt? Can you tell my hand is raised? Better question might involve how long it will take before we start hearing LePage for President.

VIDEO: NAACP SCHOOLED AT ITS OWN PRESS CONFERENCE

It doesn't get any better than this. The NAACP held a press conference about it's report that the Tea Party is not dealing with perceived racist elements. Adam Sharp of the Sharp Elbows blog was on hand to ask questions. He wanted to know why the NAACP hadn't done the same thing with racism in its ranks.

He then got in a shot about the falsified cover of the NAACP report before being asked to turn off his camera. What ensues serves as the perfect example for what happens when someone realizes they're losing the debate - they try to shut it down. Even the NAACP attorney didn't want to talk.

SOROS GROUPS TEAMING UP WITH NAACP, TARGET TEA PARTIES

Just when you thought the race card was maxed out, the NAACP and George Soros-sponsored groups are teaming up to double down. I'd say the good news at this point is that the last refuge of scoundrels - the race card - is wearing thinner by the day and if these folks think that teaming up might somehow bolster their effectiveness, color me skeptical. This really is nothing more than a new take on a tactic tried several months ago when the 'Crash the Party' website was launched to encourage people on the left to infiltrate tea parties, while posing as racists.

This effort is just more coordinated and better funded. The new Tea Party Tracker website has been launched and the leftwing lemmings are being encouraged to record videos of Tea Party racism and send them in. Knowing these whackos, two lefties could go to a tea party with one filming the other spewing racial epithets. Seriously, that's what these people do. It sounds outlandish but it's really what they do.

Via Fox News:
A new website sponsored by the NAACP and left-leaning media operations is seeking videographers and bloggers who will search out "racism" and "extremism" among Tea Partiers.

Teapartytracker.org will feature tweets, interviews with people at rallies, blog entries and a picture of a t-shirt they say someone spotted at a rally that reads "Blacks own slaves in Mauitania, Sudan, Niger & Haiti."

The site, sponsored by the NAACP, Think Progress, New Left Media and Media Matters for America, will monitor "racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement. We call on the Tea Party to repudiate extremists among their ranks and join in civil dialogue with all Americans."
As for the comment about blacks owning slaves in the Sudan, it's factually accurate but not germane to the debate. That doesn't make it racist, just irrelevant. If that's the best Soros and the NAACP can do, bring it on.

The continued pushing of the lie that Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) was spat on is a tactic of socialism. It's also another claim these folks continue to make. Oh, by the way, Emanuel Cleaver is one of the 70 congressmen who is registered with the Socialist Caucus.

FBI LOOKING INTO DEATH OF SHIRLEY SHERROD'S FATHER

This is very interesting. If you've seen the entire 43 minute speech of Shirley Sherrod speaking in front of the NAACP, you watched her explain that her father - a black farmer - was shot and killed by a white farmer in 1965 and the case was never brought before a grand jury; justice was never done. If that's true, it is a travesty and a despicable part of America's past. Speaking of truth, it appears that there may be some good to come out of Breitbart's video. He may actually end up helping Shirley Sherrod as all of this attention has seemingly prompted the FBI to look into the 45 year-old case.

Sherrod's father was named Hosie Miller. His alleged killer was named Cal Hall, who died in 1976. The newspaper called the Albany Herald has published some very interesting details about the case.
Documents obtained through a Georgia Open Records Act request Friday show that Hall was charged at least three different times in connection with Miller's killing and each time the grand jury declined to prosecute.

Grace Miller, Hosie Miller's wife and Sherrod's mother, said Friday that she didn't know if the FBI had opened an investigation into her husband's killing.

"I hadn't heard that but, I think it would be a good thing if they did," Miller said. "But, then again, it won't bring him back and that was a long time ago."
Another interesting fact revealed in this article is that Shirley's mother - Grace Miller - said she was related, though distantly to Cal Hall.

Also, very noteworthy was this:
...on Jan. 25, 1966, Grace Miller, with the assistance of famed civil rights attorney C.B. King, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Hall alleging that Hall shot Miller in the chest while in Miller's cow pasture off Route 2 in Newton on March 15, 1965. According to court documents Miller was seeking $330,00 to recover present and future lost wages, medical and funeral costs.

In his answer to Grace Miller's original complaint, Hall's attorney stated "the Defendant says that he is not indebted to the Plaintiff for any sum or amount for the reason that the killing by him of Plaintiff's husband was in self-defense."
The argument that Hall shot Miller in self-defense is quite the opposite of Shirley Sherrod's claim. It's made even less credible given the fact that Miller was shot on his own property. Suffice it to say that this entire controversy over the video of Sherrod being taken out of context appears to be ginning up interest in the stories she related during the entire speech.

As part of the investigation into the death of Miller, I am curious to know if Hall was a registered Democrat. If so, it would be another in a long line of examples in which the persecution of blacks by whites is firmly in the camp of this country's left, including the KKK being the armed wing of the Democrat party.

In any event, here's Shirley Sherrod's entire speech. The story about her father being shot and killed is early on so it's not necessary to view the entire video.

VIDEO: GLENN BECK'S DEFENSE OF SHIRLEY SHERROD

I must say, this is one of those moments when Glenn Beck shines. On July 19th, a two and a half minute video clip of then Georgia Director of Rural Development, Shirley Sherrod, surfaced on the internet. In it, she is speaking at an NAACP Awards Banquet last March and relays a story about how she didn't help a white farmer as much as she could have because of his skin color. Within hours of the video going viral, Sherrod was forced to resign her position within the USDA.

It appeared to many - myself included - that this was an open and shut case of racism. But was it? Sherrod went on CNN and explained how she was relating a twenty year old story that helped open her eyes and see things differently. Bolstering her claim was the fact that the wife of the farmer she is seen discussing in the speech publicly supports her for having helped them.

Interestingly, the NAACP, which originally supported the decision to force Sherrod out, issued a statement in the wake of these new revelations saying they were "snookered" by Andrew Breitbart and Fox News. Rather than accepting responsibility or admitting a mistake was made, the NAACP blames others for jumping to conclusions itself. It's just simply too difficult for leftwing bodies to admit making mistakes or being wrong.

A very interesting dynamic may be at work here. A black woman is rejected by a black organization and publicly shamed but the two people who most come to her defense are Glenn Beck - the left's most despised personality on Fox - and the white farmer's wife.

One last thing before watching this video segment with Beck. Regardless of Sherrod's innocence or guilt, based on its own standards set forth in the NAACP resolution, calling the Tea Party movement racist, the NAACP should have to answer for the crowd's apparent audible support of Sherrod's tale of discrimination before they knew it was a tale of enlightenment.

VIDEO: IS THAT A RACIST LEADER IN THE NAACP?

Shirley Sherrod was appointed to a position by Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vilsack nearly one year ago. As Georgia Director of Rural Development, she was responsible for managing a budget of over $1 Billion. Keep in mind that she is responsible for money paid to her by taxpayers - of all races. That doesn't seem to bother her in this video as she relates a story about a white farmer she openly admits to not helping because he's a, well.......a white farmer.

It might be time to fire Ms. Sherrod.

TEA PARTY LEADERSHIP DENOUNCED RACISM.....THREE MONTHS AGO

Despite not making it available to the general public, the NAACP has issued a resolution calling for the Tea Party movement's leadership to denounce any and all racism from its ranks. Uh, thanks to this interview between Geraldo Rivera and Niger Innis, the NAACP is about three months late. A letter written and signed by over a dozen tea party group leaders, making up the National Tea Party Federation is dated April 24th, 2010.

Watch Innis hold it up on Geraldo for all to see.

Via Breitbart

HERE is the letter. It was posted on Big Government back on April 26th. Perhaps the NAACP should check this stuff out before it starts poppin' off. It'd be nice if the NAACP came out publicly against Rod Blagojevich for referring to Jesse Jackson Jr. as an "Uber-African-American" countless times on the recordings played during his trial. Then again, that trial - and the facts - are very unkind to Jesse Jackson Jr. But I digress.

NAACP / TEA PARTY TEA SUMMIT - OH, BROTHER

Has the Tea Party learned nothing? The victor in the Henry Louis Gates saga between he and police officer James Crowley was Crowley himself. The infamous beer summit at the White House only transpired because the Cambridge cop refused to apologize. When Gates and Obama realized that Crowley was sticking to his guns, they went into defense mode. The result was the beer summit. By and large, the only time things like this happen are when one side cries uncle.

Crowley agreed to the summit because when the White House calls, you generally honor the request but make no mistake, the entire episode was an attempt by the losers (Obama and Gates) to call a draw. The longer Crowley went without giving in, the uglier things got for Obama and Gates.

The same thing appears to be happening between the Tea Party and the NAACP. The problem is that the Tea Party is the group calling for the summit. Via Fox Philly:
A leader of the Tea Party called Sunday for a sequel to last summer's "beer summit," proposing a national "tea summit" to ease tensions over race in America.

In the latest face-off between the conservative political movement and the NAACP on CBS's "Face the Nation" program, TeaParty365 co-founder David Webb accused the head of the NAACP of practicing "selective racism" in calling on the Tea Party to denounce members that use racist language.
Again, remember, it was Obama who called the beer summit last year. He did so because he was in a no-win situation. The longer Crowley stood his ground, the more ground Obama lost.

It's very simple. Gates demanded an apology from Crowley. Crowley refused quite publicly. Rather than push it, Gates and Obama gave in. I'm afraid this effort on the part of the Tea Party is putting them in the wrong company.

VIDEO: NAACP VICE PRESIDENT CAUGHT LYING TWICE IN ONE MINUTE

Great get from the Media Research Center here. The NAACP's Vice President for Advocacy (whatever that is), Hilary Shelton appeared on Megyn Kelly's 'America Live' on July 13th in a debate against a Tea Party leader. During that exchange, Shelton said he had not attended any Tea Party events because he was 'afraid to go'. Then, only three short days later, Shelton not only says he HAD attended a Tea Party but made the charge that Congressman John Lewis was spat on - a claim Lewis never made.

CAIR ALIGNING WITH NAACP AGAINST TEA PARTY

Those who've long asserted that there is an active alliance between the political left in America and the Muslim Brotherhood just got a boost of credibility with this one. The NAACP's resolution identifying the Tea Party Movement as racist is being endorsed by the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Here is an excerpt from CAIR's Press Release:
"If the Tea Party wishes to be taken seriously by mainstream Americans, it must repudiate all those who express or promote extremist, racist or bigoted views while claiming to be affiliated with the movement," said CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper.

Hooper noted the NAACP's list of racist incidents tied to the Tea Party movement and cited similar examples of Islamophobic incidents, including:

* Extremist anti-Islam blogger Pamela Geller was invited to speak about "The Threat of Islam" at a Tea Party convention last May in Tennessee. Along with her claim that "Hitler and the Nazis were inspired by Islam..."
I found it interesting that Hooper would even broach that last subject because it's a loser.

If you want to debate whether or not Hitler was actually motivated by Islam, have at it. However, if you'd like to debate whether Hitler aligned with Islam, you'll lose. There are photos of Hitler and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini (left).

They both had common goals - exterminating the Jews - and the alliance is not even in dispute.

This speaks volumes about the real views of the NAACP, which has connections to the New Black Panther Party (NBPP), a group with a Muslim leader. The facts are these. CAIR, the NAACP, and the Black Panthers are all on the same side of this issue. All three groups are engaging in projection.

The Washington Times piece has a partial transcript between J. Christian Adams and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that point to the NAACP / NBPP relationship but Christopher Coates, an attorney still working inside the DOJ is the one whose testimony needs to be heard because he can give a firsthand account.

VIDEO: AS EXPECTED, MSNBC COMING UN-GLUED

On Thursday morning, Glenn Beck said Barack Obama is a "racist". It didn't take long for MSNBC to go into overdrive attempting to tighten its rapidly loosening screws. Notice how they didn't have the slightest problem with a black professor calling a white cop a "racist" and decide to whip out members of the NAACP to chastise Beck.

Merriam-Webster defines "Racist" as the following:
: racial prejudice or discrimination

Based on that definition, isn't the NAACP a racist organization? As you watch these videos, ask yourself if some glass house dwellers are using sling shots.

First up, Chris Matthews fights to protect that leg tingle by speaking with former NAACP president Kweisi Mfume and Joan Walsh, who once called Dr. George Tiller a "hero". Quite the panel, Chris...

Next up is Contessa Brewer leading off the segment expressing outright apoplectic indignation at Beck's words. After catching her breath, she too quotes a statement from the NAACP right before kicking it over to Hilary Shelton, V.P. of Advocacy for the NAACP. Be sure to visit Merriam-Webster after viewing....
