21st Century Nuremberg Trial in Philadelphia

At the bottom of this post is an extremely important documentary entitled 3801 Lancaster. It is solely about the horror story that took place inside Kermit Gosnell's "clinic". Like many of the Nazis before him, Gosnell is essentially on trial for his crimes against humanity.

Godwin's Law states that the longer a debate goes on, the greater the possibility that comparisons involving Hitler or Nazis will be made and that the person who makes those charges actually ends / loses the argument. In the case of Dr. Kermit Gosnell and his Philadelphia aborturary, those comparisons are valid right out of the gate. Those who don't make said comparisons risk losing the debate.

The Limbaugh theorem states that no matter how much damage Barack Obama is directly responsible for, he always escapes culpability because he is so successful at keeping his fingerprints off the levers that cause such damage when they're pulled. Obama essentially pulls those levers while wearing latex gloves and then is seen as someone who is trying to fix the problem. That's not the case when one looks at his votes on abortion while a State Senator in Illinois.

Check out this excerpt from a 2008 Wall Street Journal article by Daniel Allott:

As an Illinois state senator, Barack Obama twice opposed legislation to define as "persons" babies who survive late-term abortions... Mr. Obama said in a speech on the Illinois Senate floor that he could not accept that babies wholly emerged from their mother's wombs are "persons," and thus deserving of equal protection under the Constitution's 14th Amendment.

This brings us both to the trial of a 21st Century Nazi named Gosnell, who personally murdered countless babies that either survived abortions or were simply born alive before they could be aborted. Save for the conditions in Gosnell's Philadelphia abortuary and the death of at least one adult who was over-medicated, Obama cannot argue against what Gosnell did to those babies; the president opposed legislation that would make such things illegal in his state.

When one correctly accepts the premise that the mainstream media is little more than a series of little ventriloquist dummies for the Obama administration's ventriloquist apparatchiks, the aforementioned points of agreement between Obama and Gosnell provide all one needs in order to understand why the mainstream media has been so reluctant to cover Gosnell's trial.

Fortunately, at least one liberal - Kirsten Powers - has not abandoned intellectual honesty. In a recent op-ed that appeared in USA Today, Powers wrote:

Infant beheadings. Severed baby feet in jars. A child screaming after it was delivered alive during an abortion procedure. Haven't heard about these sickening accusations?

It's not your fault. Since the murder trial of Pennsylvania abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell began March 18, there has been precious little coverage of the case that should be on every news show and front page. The revolting revelations of Gosnell's former staff, who have been testifying to what they witnessed and did during late-term abortions, should shock anyone with a heart.

NBC-10 Philadelphia reported that, Stephen Massof, a former Gosnell worker, "described how he snipped the spinal cords of babies, calling it, 'literally a beheading. It is separating the brain from the body." One former worker, Adrienne Moton, testified that Gosnell taught her his "snipping" technique to use on infants born alive.

How can one find any difference between that and what Obama supported as an Illinois State Senator? Any attempts to do so would reveal distinctions without differences.

Here is Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) in 1999 on the Senate floor, telling then Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) that a baby is not a person until it's taken home (poor audio):



Like Obama, Boxer may - for political reasons - take issue with the conditions in Gosnell's abortuary and the death of an adult there but based on her position, she can't really take issue with his murdering these babies before they go home.

When Generals Dwight Eisenhower and George Patton visited the Ohrdrup concentration camp after liberating it from the Nazis, the former sent a cable to George Marshall that relayed his eye witness account from the pit of hell. To illustrate how heinous was the carnage that Eisenhower saw, even Patton's war-hardened, cast iron stomach wasn't enough to allow him to look at it all.

Here is part of Eisenhower's account, via Ptak Science Books:

"The visual evidence and the verbal testimony of starvation, cruelty and bestiality were so overpowering as to leave me a bit sick. In one room, where they were piled up twenty or thirty naked men, killed by starvation, George Patton would not even enter. He said that he would get sick if he did so. I made the visit deliberately, in order to be in a position to give first-hand evidence of these things if ever, in the future, there develops a tendency to charge these allegations merely to 'propaganda'."

In the Philadelphia abortuary run by Gosnell, an evil very much on par with what Patton and Eisenhower discovered in Nazi concentration camps is coming to light in a courtroom not all that dissimilar from one during the Nuremberg trials... if people are willing to admit it.

During the first of those trials, prosecutor Robert Jackson said the following in his opening statement:

"The wrongs which we seek to condemn and punish have been so calculated, so malignant, and so devastating that civilization cannot tolerate their being ignored because it cannot survive their being repeated."

How is this dissimilar from what happened on Gosnell's watch, in his office?

The Philadelphia Inquirer's Joseph Slobodzian, who has been covering the trial daily, reported the following:

Testifying under a plea agreement with prosecutors, Williams, 44, had told the Common Pleas Court jury of a time when she followed Gosnell's practice of "snipping" the spines of late-term fetuses born alive during abortions.

One of her duties, Williams said, was to clean up and dispose of fetuses some women spontaneously aborted in the waiting room after getting large doses of drugs to dilate the cervix.

One day, Williams testified, a woman expelled a fetus into the toilet and she saw its arm moving. Williams said she took a pair of scissors and snipped the spine as Gosnell showed her.

"I did it once and I didn't do it again because it gave me the creeps," Williams said.

Consider the testimony of Marie Claude Vallant-Courturier at Nuremberg. She was a holocaust survivor from France.

Vallant-Couturier described how a Nazi orchestra played happy tunes as soldiers separated those destined for slave labor from those that would be gassed.  She told of a night she was "awakened  by horrible cries.  The next day we learned that the Nazis had run out of gas and the children had been hurled into the furnaces alive."

Babies / children being hurled into furnaces or toilets is, as mentioned earlier, a distinction without a difference.

It was a scene the Philadelphia District Attorney called "a house of horrors." A warning to readers, some of the details in this story are gruesome.

West Philadelphia doctor Kermit Gosnell is on trial for running an abortion clinic in which he allegedly killed babies who had survived illegal, late-term abortions, and where a woman allegedly died of a botched painkiller injection.

Charges were brought against Gosnell a little over two years ago. Here is Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams in an interview with CNN at the time. Note how the detail provided by Williams actually causes the anchor to stop him, saying none of it has been proven. Williams, who appears a bit taken aback, ultimately asserts that he's merely relaying grand jury testimony.



Think it's a stretch to compare Gosnell to a Nazi? Well, didn't the Nazis seek to murder Jewish children?

Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS, was determined to exterminate all Jewish children. His policy was set out in the secret speech he gave at Poznan, Poland on October 6, 1943.

“I do not consider it justifiable to exterminate the men, meaning to kill them or get them to be killed, while allowing the revengers, in the form of children, to grow up and face our sons and grandsons,” said Himmler.

The Nazis deliberately killed children: the toll of minors in the Holocaust is estimated at as much as 1.5 million.

Did Senator Pat Toomey just have his 'Rick Santorum endorses Arlen Specter' moment?

In 2004, then Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) endorsed incumbent Arlen Specter over Pat Toomey. It was a contributing factor to Santorum's loss to Bob Casey in 2006. In 2010, the showdown between Toomey and Specter began anew. With Tea Party support, Toomey won.

Last month, during Rand Paul's now famous filibuster, Toomey was one of several Republican Senators who dined with Barack Obama as Paul ate candy bars.

Now, in what appears to be an effort to prevent a filibuster on gun control, Toomey and Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) have come together on a compromise bill. As news begins to trickle out, what initially seemed like an inexplicably bone-headed decision by Toomey to reach across the aisle is now no less boneheaded but a little less inexplicable.

New York mayor Michael Bloomberg’s anti-gun group announced Wednesday that it will stop running a negative television ad targeting Sen. Pat Toomey now that the Pennsylvania Republican has signed on to a proposal to expand background checks to gun show and online firearms purchases.

Mayors Against Illegal Guns had been hammering Toomey, a junior senator with an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association, with negative ads in Keystone State. But his latest proposal, which he is co-sponsoring with West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, has Bloomberg and company singing a different tune.

The coalition’s initial negative ad featured an urgent-voiced narrator who said, “Tell Senator Toomey, don’t protect criminals…Demand action now,” and displayed Toomey’s office phone number. Now the coalition is running a positive ad praising Toomey.

At first blush, it would seem that Toomey could be selling out the second amendment in the interest of getting re-elected.

Video: Muslim Judge in Pennsylvania on CNN

Consider this guy busted. His name is Mark Martin and he is a Muslim Judge from Pennsylvania. He presided over a case in which an atheist named Ernest Perce was allegedly assaulted by a Muslim bystander during a Halloween parade. Perce was dressed as a "Muhammad Zombie" and his Muslim assailant was so offended and so nervous that he dialed 9-4-4 instead of 9-1-1 in an attempt to report Perce for doing something illegal (dressing up as a Muhammad Zombie is not illegal).

According to an article by Pamela Geller at American Thinker, Martin has denied that he's a Muslim, despite his confession to the contrary, which can be heard on the audio recording of the trial; it was released by Perce on YouTube and can be heard HERE.

Today, Martin - who is clearly on defense now - appeared on CNN and was interviewed by Soledad O'Brien about his ruling, which was for the Muslim assailant. As Martin issued his ruling, it sounded more like a defense of Islam than of the U.S. Constitution. Perce was chastised and called a "doofus" by Martin, who ultimately ruled in favor of the Muslim defendant.

Anyway, here is Martin's appearance on CNN. Pay particularly close attention at the end as Martin actually compares Perce to the KKK while making the argument that just because the Klan had the first amendment right to wear sheets didn't mean that it was right.

Uh, Mr. Muslim Judge, the KKK dressed in white sheets before they went on killing sprees that likely began with assaults. In this case, the guy you compare to the KKK wasn't looking to hurt anyone. In fact, he was the one assaulted.

Audio: American Judge implementing Sharia Law from the Bench

For all the Ron Pauliens who think the Islamic threat to America is overrated, it's time to take note. A Judge in Pennsylvania presided over a trial in which an atheist who dressed up as a "Muhammad zombie" during a Halloween parade was assaulted by an angry Muslim spectator. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania brought assault charges against the assailant, who thought it was against the law for anyone to do such a thing.

Those of us who live under the United States constitution know that is incorrect. Assaulting someone is against the law and freedom of expression is not.

That's not the worst part. The victim in this assault is a man named Ernest Perce. The Judge in the trial is a convert to Islam; his name is Mark Martin. Not only did Martin find for the defendant but he did so based solely on Sharia law. Additionally, Martin is now threatening to jail Perce for recording the audio of the proceedings and putting it on YouTube (below).

Stranger still is the fact that Perce got permission from Martin to make the recording!

Anyway, here is the audio of the proceedings, recorded by Perce. It is long but well worth it, particularly toward the end, when you hear the rationale for Martin's ruling. If you don't have time, Shoebat has a breakdown of some key times in the video where you can fast forward.

Just to give you an idea of what to expect, check out this quote from Martin, via Atlas Shrugs:

American Judge in American court (minute 29:50): "Our forefathers intended that we use the first amendment so that we could speak what's on our mind, not piss off other cultures..... Islam is not just a religion, it's their culture, their culture, the very essence, their very being. They pray five times a day, towards Mecca. To be a good Muslim before you die, you have to make a pilgrimage to Mecca unless you are otherwise told you cannot because you are too ill, too elderly, whatever, you must make the attempt. Their greetings salum alaikum waliakum as-salm )as answered by voice), uh may god be with you. It is very common, their language, when they are speaking to each other, it is very common for them to say, uh allah willing, this will happen. It's they are so immersed in it. And what you've done is you've completey trashed their essence, their being. They find it very, very, very offensive. I am a Muslim. I find it very offensive ..... You are way outside your bounds of first amendment rights."

2004 Video: Is this Santorum's Biggest Wart?

In 2004, current Senator Pat Toomey was the conservative candidate running against incumbent RINO and eventual Democrat, Arlen Specter. Sitting Pennsylvania Senator at the time, Rick Santorum, fell in line behind the Republican establishment and publicly endorsed Specter.

As bad as this is, it doesn't come close to the number of warts on Romney, Gingrich, Paul or Perry.

Nonetheless, it is what it is and Santorum should have to address it.

MORE PROBLEMS FOR SESTAK: TIES TO CAIR

In addition to the jobs-gate scandal that has been dogging Pennsylvania Rep. Joe Sestak (D) in his race for Senate against Pat Toomey, there may be another one brewing for Sestak. How do ties to the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) sound? He is losing Jewish voters as a direct result.

An ad courtesy of Jews For Sarah and the story behind it was featured in a piece by World Net Daily:

Sestak, whose Senate bid is backed by activists with the far-left grass-roots group MoveOn.org, had likewise expected heavy Jewish electoral and financial support until the controversy over his ties to CAIR began heating up in recent days.

A large advertisement in this week's edition of the Philadelphia Jewish Exponent reminded voters that in 2007 Sestak served as the keynote speaker at a local fundraising dinner for CAIR.

While there is no excuse for politicians not to know what CAIR's true intentions are, in 2007 public awareness of those intentions was nowhere near where it is in 2010. Consequently, these revelations about Sestak are unquestionably going to do more damage to him than they would in 2007. Regardless, it was public knowledge by 2007 that CAIR was an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial in which the defendants were found guilty of several counts related to terrorism. Sestak would have been the keynote speaker at the CAIR event during the same year that case went to trial.

It's curious that Specter didn't seize on this during his race with Sestak. It could have been a repeat of what worked for him in 1992, when his opponent was shown to be anti-Israel; that revelation carried Specter to victory. The question I have is why didn't he capitalize on Sestak's ties to CAIR?

Curiously, as WND points out, Sestak was approached by members of the Jewish community prior to speaking at the CAIR event and warned not to attend.

At a meeting with Sestak at the Havertown Jewish Community Center in 2007, members of the local Jewish community pleaded with Sestak to withdraw from the CAIR event, but he declined.

Even recently, Sestak lined up with those who had a problem with how Israel handled the flotilla endorsed by Turkey's IHH and the Free Gaza Movement.

The anti-Sestak ad also points out the lawmaker refused to join a pro-Israel letter, signed by 329 members of Congress last year, urging President Obama to work closely with Israel to advance peace. Sestak also declined to sign another pro-Israel congressional letter, in March, that affirmed the U.S. and Israel are "close allies."

Sestak did, however, sign a January letter lambasting Israel for using "collective punishment" against Palestinian residents of Gaza. The letter sought to put pressure on Israel to ease up on its blockade of the Hamas regime.

Until America admits the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood and all of the groups affiliated with it - among them is CAIR - we will continue to lose the battle.

VIDEO: DARRELL ISSA VS. ED RENDELL ON JOBSGATE

Representative Darrell Issa (R-CA), ranking member on the House Oversight and Government Reform squared off against Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell (D) on Fox News Sunday over the position offered to Rep. Joe Sestak (D) to drop out of his primary race with Arlen Specter. Rendell actually admitting that he'd done the same thing may get the most play but I thought what he said at the end of this exchange was the most absurd.

Rendell actually said, "I think Barack Obama has brought a new level of ethical standards to Washington. Has he changed some basic, hard-knuckle politics? No. You need hard-knuckle politics to succeed."

Pond scum.

Be sure to watch the entire exchange because Issa lands some heavy blows. I think Issa deserves entry into the same category as Chris Christie and Jan Brewer as politicians who are actually willing to lead.

VIDEO: PAT TOOMEY ON JOBSGATE

Pennsylvania Senate candidate Pat Toomey (R) appeared on Sean Hannity's television show and discussed the 'Jobsgate' scandal involving his opponent Joe Sestak and the White House. I thought Toomey did well in publicly talking about the issue and hinting that he believes there is a legitimate problem. That said, Hannity pressed him a bit on the statement released by Toomey's office, saying that he thought it should have been tougher.

As this scandal heats up, Toomey should lead the charge to blow it open. To Hannity's credit, after reading the statement from Toomey's office (below the video), he was right to push Toomey on it. At this point, I think Toomey did fine in his appearance. As long as the media continues to run with the story, he can probably sit back a little but if it shows any sign of dying down, he needs to whip out the bellows and get it going again. As I wrote HERE, this scandal is much bigger than Toomey's personal aspirations.

Allentown, PA – U.S. Senate candidate Pat Toomey issued the following statement today about allegations that the White House offered Rep. Joe Sestak a job in exchange for exiting the U.S. Senate race:

“From day one, our campaign has been focused on the critical issues facing Pennsylvania, like jobs, the economy, and a federal government that’s on an out-of-control spending spree. That’s where our focus will remain. To that end, Congressman Joe Sestak’s support for the policies that are bankrupting our country and killing jobs is of much greater concern to me than whatever deal-making was done between him and the White House.

“Having said that, by virtue of the nonstop inquiries coming into our campaign from members of the media, we are compelled to respond to what is now being commonly referred to as ‘job-gate.’ My response is simply this: Congressman Sestak should tell the public everything he knows about the job he was offered, and who offered it. To do otherwise will only continue to raise questions and continue to be a needless distraction in this campaign. Joe and I disagree on many important issues, from health care, to bailouts, to the unprecedented debt being racked up in Washington. That’s what our campaign should be about, rather than these other matters. Joe can clear that all away by simply disclosing all the facts that he knows, and I urge him to do that.”

Hannity addressed that statement perfectly with Toomey. He lightly pressed him and then got him to publicly admit this is a big deal. Toomey did a very decent job of answering the questions but he needs to be prepared to help drive this scandal, not because it will help him defeat Sestak but because it's the right thing for him to do for his country.

VIDEO: SESTAK ASKED YET AGAIN ABOUT JOBSGATE

The latest installment of Joe Sestak's continuing misprision of an alleged felony occurred on Meet the Press with David Gregory. Like several others before him, Gregory tried to get the Democratic candidate for Arlen Specter's Senate seat to come forward with the name of who from the White House offered him a job to drop out of his race with Specter and what the job was. Like CNN's Rick Sanchez, Gregory seemed nearly apoplectic - by the mainstream media's standards - over Sestak's obfuscation with questions that necessarily must have very simple answers.

The play this scandal is suddenly getting is quite interesting.

IT'S TIME TO START TALKIN' TOOMEY

My latest column is posted over at the American Thinker and is about the percolating scandal involving Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA) and his admission in February that the White House offered him a job in return for his dropping out of the primary with Arlen Specter. Sestak's defeat of Specter presents a significant problem for both himself and the White House because if his claim - which he refuses to explain in detail - is true, it would implicate the White House in the commission of a felony.

After writing the column, I noticed that I referred to Sestak being interviewed on KDKA 1020 in Pittsburgh by Mike Pintek but didn't give any details of it. For the record, on May 19th, Pintek confronted Sestak on this issue for two minutes - after having interviewed Pat Toomey - and Sestak bungled it; big time. I will be playing those two minutes on my May 23rd show so be sure to check the radio show archives and download the podcast.

Will Toomey Play Hardball with Sestak?

When Joe Sestak defeated Arlen Specter to secure the Democratic nomination for Senator of Pennsylvania, you could almost feel the White House cringe. Although it's too early to say that Sestak's loose lips in a February media interview with Larry Kane could sink the Obama administration's ship, his primary win almost certainly has the White House scrambling for sandbags to reinforce the stonewall.

Sestak clammed up in that interview after admitting that someone in the administration offered him a job in July to drop out of the primary -- presumably, that job was Secretary of the Navy. The problem is that the claim implicates the administration in the commission of at least one felony and Sestak could be implicating himself in the misprision of a felony as long as he remains silent about what job was offered and who offered it.

Republican candidate Pat Toomey is now running against Sestak and told KDKA radio's Mike Pintek on May 19th that he will run his campaign like he's twenty points down in what is, on paper a close race. If he means that, perhaps he should shine the spotlight on this scandal now that he is on a national stage.

On its face, a strategy that involves calling national media attention...

This is one of the best political ads to come around in a long time. Watch as the Nancy Pelosi-as-monster metaphor comes to life. The ad is actually for Tim Burns, who is running as a Republican in a fight for the seat once held by the now deceased John Murtha in Pennsylvania.

I particularly enjoyed the actual voice / words of Obama being used by his animated double.
