VIDEO: SENATOR RACE IN MASSACHUSETTS GETTING INTERESTING

His name is Scott Brown and he is a conservative looking to fill Ted Kennedy's Senate Seat on January 19th in a special election. His opponent is Martha Coakley, who seems to have chosen a strategy of portraying a race that is so non-competitive that she has decided to take an extended vacation.

The Boston Herald REPORTS:
Where’s Martha? Why didn’t she put out a statement regarding the attempted terrorist attack by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab? She is on vacation with 20 days to go until the election. Does Martha already need the rest or she just the most cocky candidate in the Commonwealth’s history?

Martha did make some time for a couple of campaign items such as refusing to debate Scott Brown one-on-one. During this election, she believes that every candidate has a right to be heard. That belief does not really cut it when Martha previously refused to debate her opponent in 2006.

Martha has also made time to attack Scott Brown’s latest television commercial. She finds the ad “misleading.” Scott has been naughty for pointing out how far left the Democrat party has gone. They no longer represent the working people. They represent the people who live off of taxpayer dollars and radical special interest groups.
So what's wrong with this ad? Really.

Here's another Scott Brown ad worth watching (filmed in a brewery).

Meanwhile, Iran has rejected that other Massachusetts senator, John Kerry, denying him entry into their country.

If you know anyone in Massachusetts that is ready for hope and change, please direct them to Brown's WEBSITE.

Quick question: if Brown wins this election, will the Republicans be able to filibuster Obamacare?

It would seem to me that if the conservative base is able to pull this off, it would be a HAYMAKER that lands.

U.S. CLOSES ITS EMBASSY IN YEMEN

As this administration continues to show more interest in bullying Tea Partiers, Town Hallers, and Christians who actually go to church, I'm simply struck by another trait being exhibited by Obama and company that is common to bullies - backing down. This is not American, pure and simple. I'm also struck by the fact that the policies of this administration towards terrorists have actually precipitated this closure.

KSM is readying an appearance at a civilian trial in NYC, blocks away from the 9/11 attacks and our Attorney General (Eric Holder) not only has a history of releasing terrorists but of working as a partner with a firm, Covington Burling, that represented Guantanamo inmates pro-bono.

In one sense, the despicable and common pasts shared by many in this administration are coming home to roost. In another sense, the cowardice its exhibiting to the world while acting as a bully at home is heartbreaking.

Quoting from the official statement on the embassy closure in Yemen:
January 03, 2010
The U.S. Embassy in Sana’a is closed today, January 3, 2010, in response to ongoing threats by Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) to attack American interests in Yemen.
Obama is such a strong leader! Shutting down our embassy in Yemen abroad and bullying senior citizens who oppose government run health care at home.

VIDEO: KRISTOL SLAMS OBAMA WAR STRATEGY

I don't know what the best part of this video is. It's either the Weekly Standard's Bill Kristol making mincemeat of the leftwing strategy of dealing with islamic terrorists or the apoplectic look on the face of NPR's Juan Williams. Kristol's point is that the underwear bomber IS a "smoking gun" who can unequivocally provide actionable intelligence. Yet with an administration that has endorsed the civilian trial of the mastermind of 9/11, that underwear bomber is likely going to lawyer up and not have to comment.

The look on Juan Willams' face throughout Kristol's point-making reveals a succession of mis-firing synapses.
