Audio: Mark Levin Rails on House Republican Leadership

Mark Levin went on a ten minute rant against John Boehner and Republican House leadership over its handling of the budget negotiations in general and their apparent contempt for 54 House Republicans who voted against another three week Continuing Resolution. What's amazing is that for two years, Boehner was basically Obama's punching bag in the House. Instead of coming out swinging after his party gained the majority, Boehner has been throwing up a big fat goose egg with respect to leadership. He talked a good game when he was the minority leader. Now that it's time to take the reigns, Boehner looks very weak.

It's really very simple. The country is broke and needs serious spending cuts. Boehner continues to dither while showing the White House his hand. Michele Bachmann and Steve King have been doing the leading that Boehner seems incapable of doing. They deserve most of the credit for getting those 54 Republicans to break ranks on the latest three week CR, which only kicks the can at a time when we absolutely cannot afford to. Something else to be said for both Bachmann and King is that they don't have a crying problem.

Here's Levin's rant via Daily Caller:

Perhaps we're figuring out why Boehner cries so much - COWARDICE. I'm sorry but if this guy is as concerned about the future of our children as he claims, he should resign - NOW.

Video: Obama Nominee for Deputy Director of OMB Grilled by Senator

Her name is Heather Higginbottom and she is Barack Obama's nominee for Deputy Director of Office and Management Budget (OMB) and she is thoroughly grilled by Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) for what likely seemed to Higginbottom an eternity. To be fair, the position she's in here - defending Obama's budget and words - is beyond untenable. Sessions latches onto the president's words that his budget will not add to the debt and asks Higginbottom to explain how that's possible with all of the annual deficits it's slated to run.

She can't and you can practically see her perspiring as she vainly attempts to spin out of the tough questioning. We're also seeing an interesting trend develop within this administration. As the positions taken by this White House become increasingly indefensible, Obama is increasingly absent and new meat is increasingly grilled. Robert Gibbs's replacement - Andrew Carney - continues to flail worse than his predecessor did.

Another person Sessions makes reference to is Jacob Chew, the OMB Director whose words mirrored Obama. Sessions gave Higginbottom a chance to explain the assertions made by both men and she failed miserably.

If you'd like to see a six minute train wreck, just watch.

Audio: Joe Biden Pours Gasoline on Union Fires

One thing is clear after listening to Joe Biden on this conference call with Union leaders; Wisconsin was a huge defeat for unions. This is nothing short of a 'circle the wagons' speech from the Vice President. It's also an admission from the administration in the form of the second in command - Joe Biden - that Democrats are more than just a little beholden to Unions. The call was hosted by the AFL-CIO, which is headed by Richard Trumka. I found the part about a strong middle class being impossible without unions to be the biggest laugher here.

However, on a much more serious note, it is the leftists, socialists, and union thugs who have been unhinged during all of this and instead of Biden reprimanding or admonishing their behavior, this call only serves to exacerbate their feelings of victimization that aren't the least bit justified. This really is shocking audio because Joe Biden is encouraging unions to become even angrier in the wake of defeat in Wisconsin.

Desperation like this from the Vice President of the United States only serves to underscore how beholden Democrats are to the Unions; if these Unions go down, they're taking the Democrats with them and that realization is not lost on Joe Biden. Wisconsin may have been a much bigger blow to the left than we thought.
