There is simply no way I can any longer accept that political leaders are ignorant of the intentions of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) specifically or the larger Muslim Brotherhood in general. We have long since reached the point where it's safe to say that such leaders are either corrupt or cowardly. The ignorant card has long been maxed out.
Even if the mayor of Brookfield, WI - Steven Ponto - is just ignorant, he's nefarious BECAUSE he's ignorant. In essence, he's defending the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and is betraying his oath for some reason other than honor.

RCP Map: Uh, the Republican Establishment better start re-thinking it's love affair with Mitt... FAST
This is very disheartening news for the 'Anybody but Obama' crowd. According to Real Clear Politics, Obama has a 57 point electoral vote advantage over Romney before you even get in to the 'Toss-Up' states. According to this map, Romney will lose Massachusetts and probably Michigan, his two 'home' states. In fact, the entire Northeast - save for New Hampshire - is seen going for Obama. If the electoral votes fall the way RCP is predicting, Obama would only have to secure 43 of 141 of the 'Toss-Up' votes to get to the needed 270.
In short, this map shows an overwhelming advantage for Obama - and his party is the one known for perpetrating the most fraud.
If this map portends a future reality, the good news is that it might be the death knell for the Republican Establishment. The bad news is that it could be the death knell for the United States too (just remember Obama's open mic moment with Dimitri Medvedev). In writing about the prospects of a Romney loss to Obama, I took a 'glass is half full' approach last month but in light of how untethered an extremely radical Obama would be in a second term, that's not an ironclad solution. More at RCP.
Fourth look at Newt anyone?

Christian Science Monitor Validates Shoebat's take on Egyptian elections
Earlier this month, Walid Shoebat and I reported on the eligibility issues that seemed destined to mire the presidential election process in Egypt. We reported that Muslim Brotherhood candidate, Khairat al-Shater and Salafist candidate Hazem Salah Abu Ismail were both ineligible according to the letter of the law. Al-Shater was ineligible because of his multiple imprisonments and Ismail because his mother was a United States citizen. The Christian Science Monitor is now validating those claims.
Via CSM:
In what could be a case of Kabuki theater, Fotouh was expelled from the Muslim Brotherhood last year for announcing his intention to run for the presidency. Despite this, top Brotherhood scholar - Yusuf al-Qaradawi - has endorsed Fotouh. How convenient. The Brotherhood pledged not to run a candidate but the top Muslim Brotherhood guy has endorsed a former Brotherhood member.

Via CSM:
Hazem Salah Abu Ismail, the Salafi, was disqualified because his mother held US citizenship, the state news agency reported, confirming previous reports fiercely denied by the Islamist, who says he is the victim of a plot. There had been talk that Ismail might run as al-Shater's running mate, a move not prohibited by the citizenship of Ismail's mother. Shoebat informed me that such a ticket would be very formidable against former Mubarak Egyptian foreign minister under Mubarak and former Muslim Brotherhood leader Abdul Moneim Abol Fotouh.
Abu Ismail's lawyer, Nizar Ghorab, told Reuters he expected "a major crisis" in the next few hours.
The Muslim Brotherhood's Khairat al-Shater was also among those disqualified on Saturday. His spokesman said he would challenge the decision.
Omar Suleiman, Mubarak's intelligence chief and vice president in his last days in power, would also appeal, his spokesman said.
The elimination of three of the top candidates in what is being billed a Egypt's first real presidential vote would redraw the electoral map just a few weeks before the vote gets under way in May. The election is expected to go to a June runoff between the top two candidates.
Other front-runners include Amr Moussa, a former Arab League secretary-general and Egyptian foreign minister, and Abdul Moneim Abol Fotouh, who was expelled from the Brotherhood last year when he decided to mount his own presidential campaign.Additionally, these new developments seem to point to Qaradawi practicing Muruna.
Abu Ismail is the most hard-line of the Islamists running for the post. On Friday, his supporters besieged the headquarters of the election commission, forcing it to evacuate the premises and suspend its work. The building was guarded by security forces with riot shields.
If Ismail running as al-Shater's VP choice made that ticket much stronger, the absence of both men would likely make Fotouh more stronger against amr Moussa.

Zimmerman may have upper hand in Court for several reasons
The Al Sharptons of the world may have gotten what he wanted when George Zimmerman was arrested and charged with second degree murder but in addition to there being significant issues with the affidavit, Zimmerman may have more than one chance to prove his innocence. First, if you haven't seen it, the first video below is Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz shredding both the State Attorney Angela Corey, who decided to bypass a grand jury and charge Zimmerman with second degree murder. Here is a copy of the affidavit (via TalkLeft) Dershowitz is referring to.
Via MediaIte:
Notice that Dershowitz says that Corey has a lot to answer for by submitting what he calls an irresponsible affidavit. He seems quite adamant that the judge should throw it out, in part, because any second degree murder charge typically comes with a grand jury concluding that there is no reasonable doubt of the crime taking place. Dershowitz says this affidavit doesn't even meet the threshold of probable cause.
That leads us to the judge assigned to this case. Her name is Jessica Recksiedler and she came forward this week to express concern that she may have a conflict based on the fact that her husband works for an attorney who Zimmerman had reached out to prior to settling on the one representing him now.
Via Breitbart:
Well, hey, that's no conflict at all when compared to Justice Elena Kagan's conflict with Obamacare and she hasn't recused herself, but I digress.
Anyway, it's impossible to know what Recksiedler is thinking about how the case will proceed but according to the Tacoma News Tribune, Zimmerman will have the opportunity to ask the judge to rule whether the killing was justified. Due to the Stand Your Ground law, he will be able to do this with nothing but upside.
The main reason for Zimmerman's advantages as a defendant has to do with the 'Stand Your Ground' law in Florida. This law has been the quintessential straw man for gun control fanatics on the left. New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg is already using it for political advantage, as are a slew of other Democrats (Bloomberg is an IINO - Independent in Name Only).
That leads to this interesting little factoid. Did you know that two very prominent Democrats signed similar legislation when they were Governors? DHS Secretary and Obama lackey, Janet Napolitano, signed a 'Stand Your Ground' law when she was Governor of Arizona?

One area that sets Florida apart is the next step Zimmerman faces: With the police and prosecutor having weighed in, a judge will decide whether to dismiss the second-degree murder charge based on "stand your ground." If Zimmerman wins that stage, prosecutors can appeal.
But in another aspect peculiar to Florida, if the appeals court sides with Zimmerman, not only will he be forever immune from facing criminal charges for shooting the 17-year-old Martin - even if new evidence or witnesses surface - he could not even be sued for civil damages by Martin's family for wrongfully causing his death.Conversely, there seems to be a degree of downside for Recksidler. If she finds Zimmerman guilty and a jury acquits him, what will that say about her motives and her politics? It's one thing to be overturned by a higher court but it's something else entirely to be overturned by a jury. If she finds Zimmerman not guilty, she could find a bunch of unfriendly feet on the front lawn of her home and a U.S. Attorney General - Eric Holder - who has already sided with Al Sharpton, not likely to help.
"You get even more protection than any acquitted murderer," said Tamara Lawson, a former prosecutor who now teaches at St. Thomas School of Law in Miami. "This law seems to give more protection than any other alleged criminal could dream about."
If Zimmerman can't convince the judge of his innocence, he still can use "stand your ground" to convince jurors.
The main reason for Zimmerman's advantages as a defendant has to do with the 'Stand Your Ground' law in Florida. This law has been the quintessential straw man for gun control fanatics on the left. Via Breitbart's AWR Hawkins:
...on April 2nd, I had a post on Big Government that highlighted how former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, a Democrat, used her Current TV show to lambaste Stand Your Ground laws, and to blame Republicans for the existence of such laws in the first place. However, as I showed, the dirty little secret is that Granholm signed Michigan’s Stand Your Ground bill into law in 2006.I just can't help posting this video whenever I find it so totally relevant. This is one of those times.
Now it’s been discovered that an even more prominent Democrat, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, signed Arizona’s Stand Your Ground bill into law while governor of that state in 2006. And it’s important to note that Napolitano didn’t sign the bill half-halfheartedly, rather, she even countered anti-gunners’ opposition in the signing.

Video: Stimulus Dollars went to foreign companies, workers
The only thing that could have made this worse is if stimulus dollars were actually sent to Korea to fund Korean businesses and workers. In this case, the dollars stayed here but were used to fund foreign companies and workers on American soil. If there's anything positive to glean from this CBS News segment by Sharyl Attkisson, it's that unions affected by the move are exposed to one of the many things wrong with the Obama administration.
The spokesman for one of the unions impacted by all of this, Mark Mangione, is representing some very angry members, many of whom likely voted for Obama.
