VIDEO: ALVIN GREENE UNHINGED ON HIS PORCH

This is perhaps the leading candidate for the most surreal story of the decade. South Carolina Democratic nominee for Senate, Alvin Greene keeps lowering the bar on himself. As if it wasn't bad enough that his indictment for showing porn to a minor was issued last week, perhaps his reaction to a reporter who arrived at his house to get a comment is worse. After being greeted by Greene's brother, the reporter came back after candidate Greene turned him away at the door.

As the reporter was talking to Greene's brother in the front lawn, you could hear candidate Greene howling "GOOOOOOOO! GOOOOOO!" Watch for yourself and see if you think Greene might have a career as a soccer announcer if this Senate gig doesn't work out.

VIDEO: SAUL ALINSKY IN 1967 DOCUMENTARY

This video is in two parts and totals sixty minutes long but definitely worth the watch. It's from a documentary in which Alinsky discusses Community Organizing with a group of young Canadians known as the Company of Young Canadians (CYC) who were obviously trying to pick Alinsky's brain in order to best apply his tactics. Be sure to watch while keeping in mind that Alinsky is Barack Obama's ideological hero. Take note that Alinsky tells one of the Canadians that it is necessary to organize from a point of deep anger.

Listen too as Saul says you have to be a "structured, unstructured person". Boy, does that describe Obama!

Also, take note at the 23:00 mark in Part 1. Alinsky, slightly agitated, appears to begin waving his middle finger in the face of the student with whom he's debating a point - the camera even zooms in on it. If you look carefully, Alinsky even looks at it as if to see how well it was working. Then try to think about how many times Obama has been caught featuring his middle finger at interesting times.

One more thing before watching the video that bears repeating. For those eager to change horses and take Hillary over Obama, there's not much difference between the two or their affinity for Uncle Saul.

Via New Zeal:

Here's Part 2. Here, I find irony at about the 4:20 mark when Saul chastises someone for expecting the Community Organizers to do all the work on his behalf while he does nothing. Hmmmm. Sounds like an argument for capitalism.

Another exchange worth watching occurs at the 22:20 mark. A young Indian charges Alinsky with not having much love for people. Saul didn't like it and responded that he's got more love than the Indian because he's "willing to go out and get corrupted for it."

OBAMA AND HAMAS SUPPORT GROUND ZERO MOSQUE

We are still dealing with the consequences of not declaring war on an actual enemy after 9/11. Hamas is still designated as a terrorist organization by the U.S. State Department and had we declared war on the Muslim Brotherhood after 9/11 instead of on 'terror', Hamas would have been identified as part of the enemy. However, since our enemy was identified as 'terror', Hamas has gotten a bit of a pass. Now, like Obama, Hamas has come out in support of the ground zero mosque.

A caveat may be that Obama stated publicly that he supports the right of the Cordoba Initiative to build the mosque. He later said he would not comment on the wisdom to build it. Hamas is actually commenting on the wisdom of the decision and it wholeheartedly agrees.

Via the New York Post:
A leader of the Hamas terror group yesterday jumped into the emotional debate on the plan to construct a mosque near Ground Zero -- insisting Muslims "have to build" it there.

"We have to build everywhere," said Mahmoud al-Zahar, a co-founder of Hamas and the organization's chief on the Gaza Strip.
Interestingly, New York Senator Chuck Schumer (D) is Jewish and has long relied upon the Jewish vote. Obama's words - and now the words of Hamas leaders - is putting Schumer in quite the pickle. He is being put in the position of having to support Obama while dismissing Hamas.
Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who so far has not taken a position on the mosque, dismissed the endorsement.

"Hamas is a terrorist organization, and their views don't deserve any weight on anything," his spokesman said.
Let's not forget that whether you believe Obama is himself a Muslim, he has a background that involves an Islamic heritage and education. In 2007, Nicholas D. Kristof at the New York Times quoted Obama as having reverence for the Islamic call to prayer as far back as 2007:
Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

Moreover, Mr. Obama’s own grandfather in Kenya was a Muslim. Mr. Obama never met his grandfather and says he isn’t sure if his grandfather’s two wives were simultaneous or consecutive, or even if he was Sunni or Shiite. (O.K., maybe Mr. Obama should just give up on Alabama.)
Did you catch that swipe at an entire state of people? Perhaps Kristof will have to start apologizing soon.

There's also an excellent piece at the Wall Street Journal about the controversy.

DARRELL ISSA SET TO GO AFTER OBAMA ON MANY FRONTS

If there is one member of Congress that Barack Obama should be most concerned about, it just may be the ranking Republican member of the Committee on Government Oversight and Reform, Darrell Issa (CA). Should the Republicans win back the majority in the House on November 2nd, Issa will become the chairman of the committee; that will give him subpoena power and not only does he seem to be preparing to use it but he's building cases on multiple fronts.

Last week, Bill Clinton resurrected the Jobsgate scandal by saying something publicly that was in direct contradiction to the official White House account; Issa pounced on it almost faster than the alternative media. His website posted the story within hours of the incident.

If Obama's future involves impeachment, it will likely start in this committee. You can also bet that Issa is being watched very carefully by this administration. They are definitely concerned about him - and should be.

Issa's latest work involves targeting Obama's use of taxpayer dollars to fund propaganda. Jerome Corsi has a report on this at World Net Daily:
Read in its entirety, the Oversight Republican Report charges the Obama administration with the type of callous, unethical and possibly criminal manipulation of public opinion that is reminiscent of Watergate and the illegal campaign activities engineered by Donald Segretti on behalf of the Committee to Re-Elect the President during Richard Nixon's presidential election campaign of 1972.

In 1964, Donald Segretti pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of distributing illegal campaign materials, for which he served in federal prison four months of a six-month term.

The Obama administration's abuses alleged in the Oversight Republican Report can be summed up under the term "astro-turfing," a fraudulent public relations activity in which "the White House and the agency whose resources it is co-opting attempt to create the impression that grassroots support for a particular policy exists when in fact it has been fabricated using taxpayer dollars."
Issa has also started beefing up his staff and will clearly have many irons in the fire if chairman come January. This administration has racked up quite the number of scandals since early 2009, not the least of which being Walpin-gate and Black Panther-gate. Issa's people are now also going after the administration's Axelrodian mastery of astroturf campaigns, comparing the Obama administration to the Nixon administration.

Issa's report points to several examples, including: the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and others.

Read it all to get the specifics.

Here is a video on Issa's website that features Issa along with other Republicans on the committee explaining their goals as members. Interestingly, there are a significant number of conservatives in this committee. If Republicans win control of the house, this administration is almost certain to be in deep trouble and will unquestionably be on defense.
