Doesn't make much sense, does it? A terrorist who wanted to eliminate 25 million people (according to the only FBI informant to infiltrate the Weather Underground) became a professor at Chicago University. How does such a thing happen?

Can you say, "Daddy"?

Bill Ayers apparently knew how to say it in a way that his daddy gave him a desired response. Cliff Kincaid of ACCURACY IN MEDIA and AMERICA'S SURVIVAL offers forth some valid reasoing for such a scenario:
“The evidence so far points to his rich father, Thomas Ayers, who sat on the board of the Tribune Company, which publishes the Chicago Tribune, as providing the ‘clout’ to get his son ensconced at the University of Illinois,” said ASI President Cliff Kincaid, a veteran journalist who serves as editor of Accuracy in Media. “There is no other reasonable explanation for how Ayers got this job. Thomas Ayers may also have played a role in getting Ayers’ wife and fellow terrorist, Bernardine Dohrn, a teaching job at Northwestern University in the Chicago area. Thomas Ayers had been the chairman of the board of trustees at Northwestern.”
That firm where Dorn worked (Sidley Austin) was the same firm where the future Michelle Obama was employed when she was tasked with mentoring her future husband, Barack.

Kincaid is holding a press conference on Thursday, August 20th at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. to present, in part, some never before seen records about Bill Ayers thanks to the Freedom of Information Act:
Copies of syllabi from Ayers’ courses, obtained under the state Freedom of Information Act, will be released for the first time, and several reports on the activities of Ayers’ and his comrades in academia will be provided as well. One report will examine a controversial trip made by Ayers and Dohrn to Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela.
Should be interesting. More information about the PRESS CONFERENCE.

CBS reports that since July 1st, 60,000 people have cancelled their memberships with AARP. Some have apparently decided not to stay in limbo long as the American Seniors Association is seeing an uptick in enrollees who used to be members of the AARP.

The exodus from AARP may have started on July 1st but on August 12th, while speaking to a group in Portsmouth, Obama didn't do much to endear himself with the group whose formal stance was fence-sitting on Obama-care.

An ACORN getting shouted down certainly carries with it some poetic justice. At a Tea Party In Dallas on August 17th, a loud ACORN protester began getting a little too close to a sane individual and then began to dance in an apparent attempt at point emphasis. Fortunately for anyone subjected to her antics, two individuals ushered her away.

As the ACORN walks away, listen for chants of, "ACORNS Are Nuts! ACORNS Are Nuts!" Something tells me that the man with a notepad who then approaches her isn't going to exactly file an objective report. Then again, maybe he was duping her into thinking he was sympathetic.

Oh, the games being played this August.

The man behind the poster of Obama behind a mask of The Joker has been identified. Once again, however, the left is finding itself in quite the conundrum. Why? Well, Firas Alkhateeb is a Palestinian-American who supports far left liberal Dennis Kucinich.

Back on August 6th, the WASHINGTON POST floated the notion that the Obama The Joker Poster was the product of a racist artist who was playing on the dormant and unspoken fears of white America, which had to be the reason why he remained anonymous:
So why the anonymity? Perhaps because the poster is ultimately a racially charged image. By using the "urban" makeup of the Heath Ledger Joker, instead of the urbane makeup of the Jack Nicholson character, the poster connects Obama to something many of his detractors fear but can't openly discuss. He is black and he is identified with the inner city, a source of political instability in the 1960s and '70s, and a lingering bogeyman in political consciousness despite falling crime rates.
Really? So does that mean that a supporter of the far left Dennis Kucinich is a racist Palestinian-American? The left continues to entangle itself in its own ridiculous premises which is causing them to come back with even more obtuse arguments.

Here's more on THE ARTIST.

Hey Rachel, Keith, and Chris, we're waiting with bated breath for you to report on this one.

Last week, CNSNews reported on the likely direction the FCC's new "Chief Diversity Officer" (Translation: Fairness Doctrine Czar) would attempt to take talk radio. Based on a book penned by Mark Lloyd (pictured), if his preference is granted, private broadcasters would be required to double their operating expense in order to fund public broadcasters.

NEWSBUSTERS is reporting that this over-the-top and beyond-the-pale tactic being espoused by someone with a lot of power in the FCC has gotten the attention of Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), who has issued a letter to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, who appointed Lloyd to this post.

NewsBusters insists there is significant reason for alarm when it comes to Lloyd's views:
We have repeatedly explained that Lloyd is virulently anti-conservative, anti-capitalist, almost myopically racially fixated and exuberantly pro-regulation.
While I'm glad to see that Grassley has gotten involved, we've also seen him write letters before that yield no fruit (Gerald Walpin case comes to mind).

Nonetheless, shining a light on what's going on at the FCC is critically important in light of what its Fairness Doctrine Czar envisions. Here is an excerpt from Grassley's letter:
Dear Chairman Genachowski,

On July 29, 2009, you announced the appointment of Mark Lloyd as Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). I write today to express my concerns with this appointment and ask for you to clarify and reaffirm statements you made to me in a personal meeting prior to your confirmation related to the Fairness Doctrine and efforts to diversify broadcast media.

On April 22, 2009, before your confirmation by the U.S. Senate for your position as Chairman of the FCC, you came to my office and told me that you did not support an effort to reinstitute the Fairness Doctrine. I took you at your word that, if confirmed, the policies that you promoted at the FCC would not include any policy or regulatory shifts that seek to reintroduce the long abandoned Fairness Doctrine. However, I have serious reservations that...
Go to NEWSBUSTERS to read the entire letter.

If Lloyd's plan is enacted, it would amount to government theft of 1st Amendment rights as private broadcasters cannot afford to have their operating expenses doubled when they're struggling to breakeven as it is.

Nothing short of downright nefarious if this plan is put in place.

Musician Lloyd Marcus of the National Black Republican Party had a video catch fire on the internet prior to the April 15th Tea Parties. He's got a new one and it's called, "Feet to the Fire" (below).

On August 16th, I had the privilege of interviewing NBRA president Frances Rice, who retired from the U.S. Army as Lt. Col. and asserts (rather adamantly) that Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican and that John F. Kennedy was no civil rights champion.

Be sure to check out NBRA'S WEBSITE as well.

If Rice is correct (and she has facts to back up what she says), black America is living in "virtual slavery" and must completely rethink the paradigm it's been living under for a long time.
