VIDEO: LANDRIEU DEFENDS LOUISIANA PURCHASE

Indignant that anyone would dare imply or overtly state that she would sell her vote for $100 Million.....Excuse me, $300 Million, Louisiana senator Mary Landrieu (D) took to the floor to chastise her opponents.

She came across as someone more in need of convincing herself she's not a sellout than convincing others.

Oh, she failed to do both.

Click below to watch Landrieu behave like a child defending bad behavior instead of putting her head down and begging forgiveness.

Uh, Mary, you're actually making it worse.

VIDEO: FIREWORKS OVER CHARLIE CRIST'S RINO FACTOR

This debate says it all. When the left actually begins to seek cover by co-opting Reaganism, you know they're in trouble. Joan Walsh, a far left liberal and editor of Salon Magazine actually says that folks like Marco Rubio are actually trying to "narrow" the conservative base rather than expand it. Note to Joan: The Tea Party movement is out-polling both Democrats and Republicans.

The left is scared as evidenced by Matthews trying to talk himself into the notion that Moderate Republicanism isn't dead.

The whole thing is worth watching but fast forward to the 8 minute mark if pressed for time.

VIDEO: CHARLIE CRIST RESPONDS TO RINO ACCUSATIONS

Much of this video makes for ponderous viewing but the part worth watching starts at the 2:45 mark when Maggie Rodriguez of CBS asks Florida Governor Charlie Crist to respond to accusations that he's a RINO.

His response? Well, he attempts to discredit those who call him that by implying that they'd have to call Reagan a RINO as well.

Uh, sorry Charlie. Reagan wouldn't have signed on to the $787 Billion stimulus, nor would he have endorsed cap & trade.

Politico has more.

VIDEO: JOHN MCCAIN GETS INDIGNANT ABOUT SPENDING

Although I highly recommend watching Jim DeMint, feel free to fast forward to the 4:00 mark to watch Senator John McCain get righteously indignant about all of the spending in Washington. While he's on the right side of this issue with his rhetoric, he makes reference to Washington not listening to the American people. I wonder what his response would be to the times he didn't do that (Immigration / TARP / Cap & Tax).

Again, he's right on this issue but he's also facing a challenge in the Arizona primary this year from a conservative Republican in J.D. Hayworth. Something tells me that fact is fueling some of this passion. Remember, McCain is the master at political expediency. Prior to the 2008 primary, he was for amnesty for illegals. During the primary, he was against it, and after the primary, he was back to liking it again.

I like his words here but coming from John McCain in an election year, aren't they just words?

Nonetheless, worth the watch.
