SEIU BULLIES REAR THEIR THUGGISH HEADS IN CONNECTICUT

When Glen Nelson, owner of Matrix Realty purchased a new building, its janitorial service was unionized. After the purchase of the building, Nelson decided to go with a non-union cleaning service to save on expenses - $1.3 Million a year to be exact. As you can imagine, SEIU doesn't take too kindly to such things - the same SEIU that Obama pledged his loyalty to on numerous occasions. Instead of looking for new jobs, SEIU members went to Nelson's home to intimidate him.

One of the protesters claimed he was threatened by Nelson when he and his fellow whiners set up shop near Nelson's home.

Via NewsDay:
The man who says he was threatened, Arthur Tiscia, 40, in a telephone interview Wednesday said he went to Nelson's home in Miller Place on Dec. 21 with a group of the cleaners who had lost their jobs.

They set up a table and a banner in the street near Nelson's driveway and intended to ask Nelson's neighbors for food donations for Christmas, for the families of janitors who had lost their jobs, Tiscia said. Nelson came home and threatened him, Tiscia said.
The story takes a disturbing twist on multiple levels at this point. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) predictably sided with Tiscia and Nelson unfortunately caved when the NLRB ruled that if he wanted to avoid further trouble, he would have to post a sign in the front of his business that said the following:
"We will not threaten to kill you or to cause you bodily harm because you engage in activities" in support of a labor union.
SEIU's behavior is beyond reproach but at some point, people like Tiscia need to stand up to these thugs.

SHOCKER! OBAMA LIED ABOUT OIL SPILL RESPONSE

One thing is being made very clear. Ranking Republican of the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform, Darrell Issa (R-CA) is not happy with Barack Obama these days. He's already got a couple of irons in the fire relative to the alleged offers made to Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA) and Andrew Romanoff (D-CO); he's made it clear that he will double his efforts and seek more answers should the Republicans gain control of the House and, by extension, Issa would become Chairman of the Committee, which would give him subpoena power.

Now Issa's name is at the top of a scathing report on how the Obama Administration has handled the BP Oil disaster in the Gulf.

Via CNS News:
Billy Nungesser, president of New Orleans’ Plaquemines Parish, sensed that a chart showing 140 oil skimmers at work -- a chart given to him by BP and the Coast Guard -- was “somewhat inaccurate.” So, Nungesser asked to fly over the spill to verify the number.

The flyover was cancelled three times before those officials admitted that just 31 of the 140 skimmers were actually deployed.
That equates to the Administration, in conjunction with BP, lying. For the record, 31 / 140 = 22% of what was being communicated.

There was also an alleged attempt White House to get Nungesser to be quiet:
The report, which relies on interviews with several local officials in Louisiana, goes on to quote Nungesser, who had been on local and national television enough so that the White House became concerned. Two White House officials visited him on Father’s Day and said, “What do we have to do to keep you off TV?” His answer was, “Give me what I need.”
In true Obama fashion, image trumps substance. Instead of focusing on what needs done, he's more worried about hiding the truth and avoiding accountability.

To further bolster the claims within the report, here is a video of CNN's Anderson Cooper actually decrying the government's attempt to keep the media away from the truth:

Also, back on June 13th, I posted the story about the FAA putting air space over the oil spill region off limits.
