Video: CNN Hit Piece on Walid Shoebat

Some months ago, former PLO member Walid Shoebat spoke at a DHS-sponsored event. While there, Shoebat warned police officers and deputies about the dangers of Islam. Shockingly, two CNN reporters, one of whom was Drew Griffin, unexpectedly showed up at the event; they reportedly seemed to have little to no interest in talking with any of the speakers except Shoebat. They also had no interest in what Shoebat had to say, only in finding something to use against him.

Via CNN:

By the way, Drew Griffin was exposed by Bill O'Reilly as a liar. Something tells me the accused in this case (Shoebat) has similar goods on Griffin and they will be used. Stay tuned...

Here's the video of O'Reilly exposing Griffin:

Barack Obama 'Abruptly' Walks Out of Debt Ceiling Meeting

We are beginning to see the consequences of establishment Republican leadership finally doing what the voters last November have been demanding that they do - dig in their heels and stop the Obama agenda. One of those consequences is getting Obama to reveal his true self. There is definitely a side to Obama that is child-like with respect to his immaturity and thanks in large part to House majority leader Eric Cantor, who has apparently decided to do the job House Speaker John Boehner won't do; tell the president 'no.'

This new reality seems to be bringing out the immature Obama. Via POLITICO:
President Barack Obama abruptly walked out of a stormy debt-limit meeting with congressional leaders Wednesday, a dramatic setback to the already shaky negotiations.

“He shoved back and said ‘I’ll see you tomorrow’ and walked out,” House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) told reporters in the Capitol after the meeting.

On a day when the Moody’s rating agency warned that American debt could be downgraded, the White House talks blew up amid a new round of sniping between Obama and Cantor, who are fast becoming bitter enemies.

When Cantor said the two sides were too far apart to get a deal that could pass the House by the Treasury Department’s Aug. 2 deadline — and that he would consider moving a short-term debt-limit increase alongside smaller spending cuts — Obama began to lecture him.

“Eric, don’t call my bluff,” the president said, warning Cantor that he would take his case “to the American people.” He told Cantor that no other president — not Ronald Reagan, the president said — would sit through such negotiations.
Since we already know that Obama is willing to threaten to hold senior citizens hostage by lying about the possibility that they may not get their social security checks, there's no telling what might happen as a result of Cantor calling his 'bluff.'

It would sure be nice to see Boehner back Cantor up but so far, he appears to be content just standing on the sidelines.

ATF E-Mail Points to Gun Control Being Motive for Fast and Furious

This is definitely the most explosive internal e-mail to come out of the ATF since it was learned that Director Kenneth Melson and Deputy Director Billy Hoover were getting weekly updates on Operation Fast and Furious. Many have suspected that the reason ATF allowed guns to 'walk' into Mexico was to help push a gun control agenda but an e-mail from Assistant Director in Charge of Field Ops, Mark Chait makes that case a whole lot stronger.

This email from Chait, via Townhall, instructs the recipients that the ATF is looking for 'anecdotal cases' to support, in effect, gun control.

This argument is even further bolstered by a newly released 'rule' by the Obama administration that gun store owners in the four southern border states will be required to report multiple long gun sales.

ATF agent / whistleblower John Dodson told CBS's Sharyl Attkisson several months ago that when he went to his supervisor to object to Fast and Furious, which put guns in the hands of bad guys, he was told, 'If you want to make an omelette, you gotta scramble some eggs.'

Gun Owners of America Executive Director Larry Pratt asks an interesting question: "If the 'omelette' is gun control, who or what are the scrambled eggs?"
