Islamic Radical's head about to explode

Hate Preacher Omar Bakri was expelled from Great Britain for being too hateful (pretty hard to do when you're talking about England) and is currently in Lebanon. His buddy Anjem Choudary is still in Great Britain poisoning young minds to hate everything western.

Anyway, Bakri being the strict Islamist that he is, was incensed last year when his 27 year-old daughter was revealed to be a pole dancer. Now we learn that his 15 year-old daughter has posted a picture of herself on facebook and guess what?

NO HIJAB!!!

Oh, the humanity!!

The UK Sun quotes a family source as saying, "Raya's pictures on Facebook will make her father explode with rage."

Hey Omar, how many of your daughters have humiliated you again?

Cornyn Playing softball on Sotomayor?

Sonia Sotomayor has made racist comments. She's made racist judgments (Firefighter case). For six years, she belonged to a group called "The Race" (La Raza). She served on the Board of the formerly known Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund (now known as Latino Justice PRLDEF), which is at BEST a "RACIAL" group and at worst a racist one.

On Fox News Sunday, John Cornyn (R - Texas) simply said that Sotomayor would need to "explain" her remarks.

Something tells me Sotomayor will have a far easier time than Alito did. Yet, her comments, decisions, and affiliations seem to be much closer to being racist than anything Alito said or did.

Until people like Cornyn decide to fight back to level the playing field, Republicans and more importantly, conservatism, will continue to lose ground.

VIDEO: CNN Anchor Given a Cold Shower

If you look far enough into CNN Anchor Don Lemon's eyes as he's getting his question answered, you can almost see the part of his brain that's responsible for suppressing a scream. And it's throbbing.

While Lemon seemed to be doing his best to get the correspondent in Ghana, Nkepile Mabuse, to give him an answer that would provide him with a "Chris Matthews Thrill", she instead turned on the cold shower and actually spoke of the warm greeting George W. Bush received in Ghana when he made the trip.

Lemon appeared to have a sour taste in his mouth at the sheer audacity of Mabuse to equate the reception Obama received in Ghana with the one his predecessor got.

Noel Sheppard at NewsBusters reports on it (h/t to Doug Ross for providing the link).

Democrat Congressman Backtracks on Honduras

A Congressman in New York who roundly criticized the de facto government of Honduras for ousting its president, Manuel Zelaya, appears to be reassessing his position. Eliot Engel (D-NY) also chairs a House subcommittee that oversees Honduras.

Here are Engel's comments on June 29th, one day after Zelaya was removed from office:
I strongly condemn the removal of President Zelaya and believe that he should be reinstated without delay.
Here is Engel on Friday, July 10th:
When the entire political establishment speaks and expresses dire concerns, the President needed to listen. From everything I can see, he did not.

The Hill has the full story (h/t to Hot Air)

So what changed? Not sure, but it's pretty sad that a politician starts reporting on both sides of a story before the Mainstream Media Does.

Guess who else appears to be speaking on behalf of the sitting Honduran government?

Lanny Davis???
As The Hill reported Friday, the Honduran branch of CEAL, the Latin American equivalent of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, has hired Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe to lobby on its behalf in Washington.

Firm partner Lanny Davis, a former special counsel to President Bill Clinton and supporter of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential run, is representing CEAL and testified at Engel’s hearing Friday.

In his opening statement, Davis said his client supports the mediation process but that “they believe that no one is above the law — including the President — under the Honduran Constitution, just as no one is above the law under the U.S. Constitution.”

Davis is a Clintonite and Obama earlier this week dragged Hillary into the fray to deal with the Honduran Hot Potato. If nothing else, Lanny Davis speaking out against Zelaya could prove a liability for Obama considering the TOTUS is on record as calling it a "coup" that is "not legal".

The international deck has been stacked overwhelmingly in Zelaya's favor since he was ousted. That appears to be changing (if ever so slightly) as sitting President Micheletti continues to stand his ground. As more and more people learn the real story in Honduras, I think we'll see Obama back away completely at some point.

A lie makes it halfway around the world before the truth can get its pants on.
