Video: Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. at Obama Rally calls for Taking these 'Son of a Bit***s Out'

If there's one thing that's been conspicuously absent when it comes to the over-the-top rhetoric coming from the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) lately, it's been Obama's refusal to denounce it. His refusal to denounce the words of Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. in Detroit may be even more conspicuous because.... Obama was there. About an hour prior to Obama speaking to an angry crowd in Detroit (a crowd angry as a result of continually voting Democrat), Teamsters head Jimmy Hoffa, Jr. exhorted the crowd to 'take these son of bit***s out' before Obama would take the stage. Hoffa also shouted out to Obama that 'this is your army.'

Looks like al-Qaeda will be Leading Libya soon

What's utterly amazing about this development is how many people didn't see it coming. This is not rocket science. As bad as Gadhafi was, what's coming is far, far worse and many of us have been saying it for several months. The problem is that the people who either didn't see it (McCain) or who seem to outright welcome it (Obama) are the ones in power. We've heard rumblings in establishment media that we don't know who the rebels are. It's been the Tea Party and conservative blogosphere that does know who they are; they're Muslim Brotherhood-backed rebels who want to install an Islamic world caliphate. The United States has liberated al-Qaeda as a result.

Via Barry Rubin at PJM:
Finally, we have evidence that Islamists and even al-Qaeda supporters will play a central role in Libya’s new regime. Up to now there has been reasonable speculation that the U.S. government and NATO might be installing an anti-Western, Islamist government in Libya. Now there’s proof that this is so.

The actual government remains in the hands of non-Islamists, technocrats, ex-regime officials, and moderates. But the armed rebels who actually made the revolution have voted and their idol is…an al-Qaeda guy. Political power, said Mao Zedong, grows out of the barrel of a gun and in Libya’s case this seems a very reasonable expectation.

According to Al Jazeera, the network recommended by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as fair and balanced, Abdul al-Hakim al-Hasadi, also known as Abdelhakim Belhaj, has been named commander of the Tripoli Military Council. He was formerly head of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, an al-Qaeda affiliate. Moderates are understandably nervous.

In 1999, the group’s spokesman praised Osama bin Laden (remember him?) and said: “The United States no longer relies on its agents to constrict the Islamic tide; it has taken this role upon itself.” One of its former leaders worked to plan the attacks on the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, resulting in massive loss of life. In 2003, members were involved in an al-Qaeda terror attack in Morocco.
Rubin sums the whole problem up quite perfectly:
...on the eve of the tenth anniversary of the killing of 3000 Americans by al-Qaeda, you don’t accept the appointment of an al-Qaeda supporter to run the new Libyan military.

True, in Turkey the Obama administration has supported an elected anti-American Islamist regime; in the Gaza Strip it saved an anti-American Islamist regime; in Syria, it did everything possible to avoid condemning an anti-American pro-Islamist regime; in Lebanon, it stood by and didn’t help the real moderates as an anti-American Islamist-dominated regime came to power; in Iran, it engaged an anti-American Islamist regime; and in Egypt, it said that it had no problem with an anti-American Islamist regime coming to power.

But actually installing an Islamist regime with Western weapons? That’s crossing the line.
I used to think these words would be the most damaging to the legacy of John McCain:

Three years later, these words my just trump those (fast forward to the 1:30 mark):

Rubin's entire piece is a must read.

Video: Jesse Jackson says Tenth Amendment is 'Slave Amendment'

There can be no doubt after watching this that Jesse Jackson and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) with whom he joined for a town hall last week, are the racists. He called the Tea Party of today the 'Fort Sumter' Tea Party, not the 'Boston' Tea Party because it's all about protecting what he calls the 'slave amendment.' Yes, apparently, embedded somewhere in the tenth amendment is language that promotes slavery. Also, take note of what Jesse says about the Tea Party wanting to repeal the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments, which abolished slavery, granted blacks citizenship, and then the right to vote respectively. Again, Jesse's history is flat-out wrong. Republican-controlled congresses are responsible for the passage of all three of those amendments.

Also, take not of a pathetic metaphor Jackson used. He compared the Tea Party to a group of people on the deck of the Titanic who wanted to destroy the captain while (blacks) are still in the hull. I'm having a tough time with believing that the congressmen and women he was sitting with are anywhere near the hull of any ship.

Jesse is coming precariously close to yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater here. After watching, I encourage you to check out my post immediately prior to this one. There are reports that the Libyan rebels - a group Obama supported and the Tea Party largely rejected - are now rounding up blacks.

Just for grins, here is the tenth amendment:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
This must be what Jesse and the CBC see when they read it:
The powers to enforce slavery not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Never thought I'd see it but I think Jesse has reached a new, despicable low.

By the way, at some point, what should we infer by Obama's silence on this increasingly outrageous rhetoric coming from the CBC?

Libyan Rebels Obama Supported Now Rounding up Blacks

If Louis Farrakhan and New Black Panther Party (NBPP) leader Malik Zulu Shabazz were both mad at Obama for going into Libya in the first place, they should be spittin' mad now. The very thing we conservatives were pointing to as reasons why supporting the rebels was quite ill-advisable appear to be coming to fruition. Black migrant workers, are being rounded up and charged with supporting Moammar Gadhafi. Who's rounding them up? Well, John McCain's heroes, the Muslim Brotherhood-backed rebels, that's who.

Via the AP:
Rebel forces and armed civilians are rounding up thousands of black Libyans and migrants from sub-Sahara Africa, accusing them of fighting for ousted strongman Moammar Gadhafi and holding them in makeshift jails across the capital.

Virtually all of the detainees say they are innocent migrant workers, and in most cases there is no evidence that they are lying. But that is not stopping the rebels from placing the men in facilities like the Gate of the Sea sports club, where about 200 detainees — all black — clustered on a soccer field this week, bunching against a high wall to avoid the scorching sun.

Handling the prisoners is one of the first major tests for the rebel leaders, who are scrambling to set up a government that they promise will respect human rights and international norms, unlike the dictatorship they overthrew.

The rebels' National Transitional Council has called on fighters not to abuse prisoners and says those accused of crimes will receive fair trials. There has been little credible evidence of rebels killing or systematically abusing captives during the six-month conflict. Still, the African Union and Amnesty International have protested the treatment of blacks inside Libya, saying there is a potential for serious abuse.
This needs to be nipped in the proverbial bud before it gets out of control. Further proof that RINO John McCain had NO IDEA what he was talking about when he referred to these rebels as his 'heroes.'

Someone should follow-up with Mr. McCain on that one.
