Cut Issa Some Slack!

At first blush, it might seem inexplicable; why would the lead congressional figure behind the investigation into Fast and Furious not call for Eric Holder's resignation? If he's the lead guy, shouldn't he be on point? Think about it. Isn't he on point every time there's a House Oversight or Judiciary committee hearing in session? In many ways, it would be foolish for him to run to the front lines right now. The list of congressmen and senators is growing, albeit slowly, without Issa's involvement.

In fact, at last count, there were 51 congressmen and 2 senators calling for Holder to resign. Based on everything Issa has done so far, why should he be one of them? Where are the rest of the Republicans in Congress? They would be easing Issa's burden on the eve of a House Judiciary hearing on December 8th that promises to be one of the most compelling in recent history.

Via the Washington Times:
Rep. Darrell Issa, who has been investigating the Fast and Furious operation for nearly a year, declined on Friday to call for Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. to resign over the botched undercover probe that led to hundreds of weapons being “walked” to gun smugglers in Mexico.
Mr. Issa, California Republican, said the operation is not about Mr. Holder or Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer, the head of the Justice Department’s criminal division, both of whom he has criticized strongly over their handling of the failed Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosive’s (ATF) investigation.
Look, Issa is already being accused of leading a partisan witch hunt. On November 8th, Chuck Schumer tried to assert that Issa's committee only has interest in pursuing Fast and Furious (Obama) and no interest in Wide Receiver (Bush). It's a red herring and if Issa called for Holder's resignation now, the likes of Schumer would just put another coat of red paint on that herring. Issa continued:
“It is not about one person,” said Mr. Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, during a breakfast hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.
“It is about a failure that seems to be pervasive within Justice that investigations play fast and loose with the expectations of what is right or wrong when it comes to what I am going to call collateral damage,” he said.
If you're inclined to slam Issa, read between the lines. First of all, this ISN'T about one person. It's about several agencies, bureaus, and departments, including the FBI, DEA, DHS, ATF, ICE, and State (yes, Hillary's State Department). Issa is already being alienated by a avery angry establishment power structure. Why would he stick his neck out further when there are still countless Republicans in both the House and the Senate who have yet to chime in?

Issa in the House and Grassley in the Senate, have done far more than anyone in Congress when it comes to getting to the bottom of Fast and Furious. It is an operation of unprecedented proportions. It's not only shaping up to be Watergate with murder but Watergate with murder.... on steroids. Think about this. This scandal is not just about Holder so why should Issa go 'all in' now? This scandal potentially implicates DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano, FBI Director Robert Mueller, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and possibly the Oval Office (Obama).

Issa is already going to be in the congressional equivalent of a cage match next Thursday, December 8th when he has Round #2 with Holder (Issa won Round #1 on May 3rd). Instead of people getting angry with Issa, they should get angry with Congressmen and Senators who have yet to get on the bandwagon.

Video: Did Sarah Palin Endorse Rick Santorum?

The answer to the question in the title is, 'It sure looked like it.' While appearing on Hannity's television show, Palin first said she would not endorse anyone. Soon thereafter, she seemed to fire a shot across the proverbial bows of both Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich by mentioning Rick Santorum by name and strongly hinting that the former Pennsylvania Senator is her kind of candidate.

Maybe it's just me but the only difference between Palin endorsing Santorum in this exchange and her not doing so was the fact that she didn't use the word 'endorse.'

Another good reason to support Santorum over Bachmann, for example, is that if Bachmann will be pulled out of Congress. Santorum does not currently hold elective office.

Judge for yourselves. Is this an endorsement?

Video: Single Mom with 15 Kids Wants Someone Else Held Accountable

If ever there was a face to match the entitlement mentality of the Occupy Wall Street crowd, this is it. Her name is Angel Adams; she has 15 kids fathered by 3 separate men while living quarters and sustenance have been provided by others.

Yet, she's indignant that no one is being held accountable.

Folks, this is what happens when the entitlement mentality reaches the bottom of the barrel.

Gun Company Compares Obama with Hitler

Usually, whenever Hitler is brought into an argument, the person who does so loses the argument. It's known as Godwin's Law. The USAAmmo ad goes there with Obama by comparing him to Hitler AND Stalin. Normally, I would ascribe to Godwin's Law but there are two very significant realities that currently exist which warrant extending USAAmmo a small amount of grace.

First, it is an ad against gun control and it IS true that Obama, like the dictators pictured in the ad, has a soft spot for gun grabbing. In fact, the failed operation Fast and Furious is looking more and more like an attempt to foment the political culture that would help achieve it. Get the ATF to make gun store owners sell guns to bad guys who would put them in the hands of drug cartels so the latter could kill people. The narrative would be that gun crimes in Mexico were the result of evil gun store owners in the United States.

While that remains to be fully proven, the evidence has been creeping that way for nearly a year now, since Border Agent Brian Terry's murder.

Second, while there is no historical evidence that Obama has Hitlerian goals, there is stone cold evidence that his buddy William Ayers did. In fact, Ayers wanted to throw all capitalists into re-education centers and estimated that 25 million Americans would have to be 'eliminated' for being unteachable.

Here is FBI Informant Larry Grathwohl:

By the way, Bill Ayers was recently caught on camera admitting that he launched Barack Obama's political career. Note that the man who would be press Secretary Robert Gibbs tells Chris Matthews that Ayers never threw a fundraiser for Obama.

Via Breitbart:

The ad would have been more definitively accurate if it had shown Hitler, Ayers, and Obama because likening Ayers to Hitler does NOT fall under Godwin's Law. The only difference between Ayers and Hitler is means, not desire. Drawing that distinction and then the connection between Obama and Ayers would have been more effective.

Audio: Adam Carolla (Man Show) Goes on Righteous Rant Against OWS

Perhaps the best diagnosis of the OWS crowd yet. Why? Because Adam Carolla breaks it all down to the lowest common denominator. Hint: it has to do with a culture where everyone gets a trophy and those who don't feel shame and then envy.

Carolla also postulates that people who feel shame have two options. They can either look inside and fix themselves or look outside and blame others.

Though Carolla lets loose with the profanities, here is the bleeped version.

This guy NAILS it.
