Confirmed: OWS More Racist than Tea Party

Forget the fact that the extremely anti-Semitic group known as CAIR joined the OWS protests in New York; one of CAIR's lawyers organized Occupy Orlando, and former CAIR South Florida Executive Director led a 2008 protest in which participants called for Jews to be 'sent back to the ovens,' we now have an interesting statistic relative to those cries of racism that come from the left when it comes to the Tea Party. In 2010, a Gallup Poll showed that 6% of the black population aligned themselves with the Tea Party. Yet, only 1.6% of the OWS movement is black despite the fact that the OWS represents the party that typically garners 90% of the black vote.

The Washington Post has engaged in a bizarre form of rationalization about why:
Blacks have historically suffered the income inequality and job scarcity that the Wall Street protesters are now railing against. Perhaps black America’s absence is sending a message to the Occupiers: “We told you so! Nothing will change. We’ve been here already. It’s hopeless.”
What? Is this a back-handed admission that the hope and change Obama promised isn't available to blacks OR whites? I have a better explanation for why black membership at OWS is not even one third that of black Tea Party membership.

OWS is Racist.

Video: Miley Cyrus Releases Pro-OWS Song

Have you ever felt so much sympathy for someone so wealthy? I'm not talking about Miley, I'm talking about her father, Billy Ray. His daughter appears to be doubling down on his Achey Breaky Heart. It will be quite interesting to see if Miley Cyrus takes her cue from Jay-Z, who's been selling 'Occupy All Streets' t-shirts for $22 and giving none of the proceeds to the movement or if she at least chooses the less hypocritical path.

The list of 1% ers who embrace the movement that is supposedly disgusted by them officially just grew by one.

In either case, this one is an eye-roller and Billy Ray Cyrus has got to be doing a face-palm right now.

Video: Draft Sarah Palin Ad set to Air in Iowa

In case you didn't know, there is a movement afoot to draft Sarah Palin back into the presidential race. This is likely being fed by the fact that the 'Not-Romney' candidate is shaping up to be another DC establishment guy in Gingrich, who got there with strong debate performances and red meat rhetoric. Anyway, here is the ad that is set to run in Iowa on November 29th.

Of course, if Palin even honors the request, she will have put herself behind the 8-ball because some important filing deadlines have already passed, including Florida. In light of the ad and sentiment among Tea Party voters, that neither Gingrich nor Romney is a sufficient choice, I found this exchange Palin had wit ET's Mary Hart back in October, 2010 rather interesting. Fast forward to the :30 mark to hear Palin say that if there's no one to do it, she would.

The candidates currently in the field that most closely align with the Tea Party are Cain, Bachmann, and Santorum. Cain is fading, Bachmann simply cannot energize the base like Palin can, and Santorum has yet to get any traction whatsoever.
