This man is an utter disgrace. Here is video of Al Sharpton from twenty years ago, explaining exactly how he is able to manipulate the media in race cases. By the way, that would be the same media that is now - thanks to this video being available for every member of the liberal media to view - willfully complicit in the furtherance of Sharpton's tactics from this point forward.

Van Jones urging the Left to push Obama Left after Reelection
A big downside to the prospect of Barack Obama winning reelection is people like Van Jones urging the left to push Obama even further left. Obama all but assured this would happen during his open mic moment with Dimitri Medvedev in South Korea. The upside - I know it's hard to find one - is that Republicans could have much stronger majorities in the House and possibly 55 Senators. Under such a scenario, Obama would be moving left after Congress moves drastically to the right. The possibility of a much warranted fight between the legislative and executive branches would also become much more likely; it's a fight conservatives have been clamoring for their Representatives to engage in.
Now we know what to expect if Obama gets reelected.

Let's face it. If Mitt Romney is the nominee, Obama's chances of winning are actually quite good, unfortunately.

Via POLITICO:
Van Jones is back with a message for disappointed progressives, Occupy Wall Street and other “post-‘Hope’” Democrats still looking to President Barack Obama for the change they voted for in 2008: Get over it.Ok, so if Romney gets the nomination and loses?
“I think you need two sources of power to make change, and not just one. I think you need a head of state that’s willing to be moved, and a movement to do the moving,” said Jones, the former West Wing insider-turned-disillusioned outsider and a lightning rod for conservative critics.
Liberals must work hard to give Obama a second term, then force him to the left, Jones explained. As I've explained here, a consequence of Obama having a second term that's even more radical than the first would be the possibility of a much more conservative congress that might just force Republican leaders to confront Obama on the plethora of issues - like Fast and Furious and Solyndra - it has seemed nearly completely disinterested in to this point.
“We have to re-elect the president, and we have to re-energize our own movement. That’s how we get change. We’re not going to have a ‘vote and hope’ strategy. We’re going to have a ‘march-and create change’ strategy,” Jones said.
Let's face it. If Mitt Romney is the nominee, Obama's chances of winning are actually quite good, unfortunately.

DOJ on New Black Panther Party's Commission of likely Felonies: No comment
No incident has dogged the Obama administration longer than the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) voting rights case, which occurred on election day in 2008 when Jerry Jackson and King Samir Shabazz stood outside a polling station in military garb. Approximately one and half years later, Attorney General Eric Holder sat in front of a congressional committee and defended his Department's decision not to pursue the case while referring to blacks as "my people."
Before we get to his latest problem with the NBPP, check out this exchange from last year:
Pre-disposed to protect the New Black Panther Party? You betcha!
According to J. Christian Adams, once a federal attorney who resigned from the DOJ over the latter's handling of the aforementioned case, the solicitation of unlawful kidnapping in the state of Florida is a felony. Nonetheless, that's exactly what the New Black Panther Party has done in the case of George Zimmerman and there doesn't appear to be an explanation as to why the DOJ isn't pursuing the NBPP other than they're being Holder's "people."

The U.S. Department of Justice had no comment on the $10,000 bounty the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) was offering for a "citizen's arrest" of George Zimmerman, the 28 year old man who told Sanford, Florida Police he shot and killed 17 year old Trayvon Martin on February 26 in an act of self-defense.No comment? On felonies happening right now? Can someone please tell me where John Boehner is? Like it or not, he is the most powerful Republican in the country today and he is practically invisible on every egregious development involving the Obama administration. It's like a fire marshall who goes into hiding when the alarm goes off.
According to a number of reports, the NBPP "called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men" to do the "arrest." Zimmerman and his family have received death threats since the case became a national issue. Mr. Zimmerman has not been arrested by local authorities. Federal, state, and local investigations of the shooting are happening, and he is currently in hiding.

Is Arizona State Legislature suffering from John Boehner syndrome?
Do you remember when news broke earlier this year that Rep. Darrell Issa and Sen. Charles Grassley were going to get support at the Arizona state level with respect to the Fast and Furious investigation? Yeah, well, not only has the deadline for the legislature to provide its findings come and gone but there hasn't been ONE SINGLE PUBLIC MEETING on the topic.

Via ABC 15 in Phoenix:
The special state committee, created in January to investigate the controversial ATF Fast and Furious case, will not meet its March 30, 2012 deadline to provide its findings about the controversial case to the governor.
According to Rey Torres, the Director of Communications for the Arizona House of Representatives, the Ad Hoc Committee on Operation Fast and Furious has not yet held a meeting and currently has no meeting scheduled.
The group was formed to investigate the factual background of the flawed Fast and Furious case , in which ATF agents admitted to allowing straw buyers to obtain weapons and distribute them to known criminals.Additionally, there is new information on one of the Fast and Furious guns recovered at a crime scene in Maricopa County two years ago. This news report focuses on the apprehension of a suspect driving a stolen vehicle that was carrying an AK-47 connected to Fast and Furious. The criminal actually pointed a separate gun at the police officer who was chasing him but it's easy to imagine a scenario whereby the driver of the stolen vehicle could have fatally shot a police officer.
Torres said it is unlikely that a meeting will be scheduled before the legislative session is finished sometime next month.
