AUDIO: ANOTHER ACORN SHOE DROPS

Heads should seriously roll if there is even a modicum of truth to this one. California Attorney General Jerry Brown is responsible for investigating ACORN. However, this audio - allegedly from a restaurant in San Diego - captures a man named David Lagstein, who is a local ACORN spokesman in California, laying out a scenario in which Brown's investigation is basically rigged, with Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe in Brown's crosshairs instead of the despicable behavior they uncovered.

Once again, it is Breitbart's BIG GOVERNMENT website that exposes the latest scandal.
Lagstein notes that the Attorney General is a “political animal.” He states that he has been in communication with Brown’s office and assures the crowd that “the fault WILL be found with the people that did the video — not ACORN.”

If that’s true, then the fix is in and Brown’s investigation is just a scam on the public. But, targeting the filmmakers will also put Brown’s office in an especially difficult position. Just today, we learn that one of Jerry Brown’s chief aides secretly recorded phone conversations with at least 5 reporters. We’ll see if Brown believes the law applies to his staff as well as the young filmmakers.
Be sure to listen to both audio clips (each about 1 minute in length). Clearly, the voice on the tape believes that an investigation of ACORN by Jerry Brown is a good thing.

If this is accurate, I'm not sure how this doesn't border on conspiracy. If a sitting state Attorney General has already pre-determined the results of an investigation into the corruption and fraud within a group like ACORN, there should be serious repercussions.

ERIC HOLDER TO SPEAK AT CAIR EVENT

Let's get this straight. The FBI has severed ties with the unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Yet, Attorney General Eric Holder will be giving the keynote speech at an event that includes CAIR.

POLITICO reports:
On Nov. 19, Holder is scheduled to speak in Detroit to the first annual awards banquet of Advocates and Leaders for Police and Community Trust, a coalition of several dozen law enforcement and community groups. An online registration form for the event includes the Council on American Islamic Relations-Michigan on a list of “official & participating organizations.”

A spokeswoman for ALPACT confirmed that CAIR is a member of the coalition.
Adding additional cause for head-scratching on this one is what happened in Detroit just last month as the FBI killed an Imam during a raid that showed some disturbing links between one of that Imam's followers and CAIR. In addition to that, the spiritual leader of the Imam that was killed, Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, is locked up in prison and serving a life sentence for killing a cop.

Turns out that CAIR has been funding Al-Amin's appeals. In fact, WND reported on October 29th that it had obtained a letter from Al-Amin's wife that she wrote to CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad:
Attorney Karima Al-Amin wrote:

As-salaamu alaikum:

On behalf of the Justice Fund, we extend appreciation to you and CAIR for the additional contribution of $9,000.00 to be used for legal expenses relative to Imam Jamil Al-Amin's case. The contribution particularly was needed to defray the cost of the recent habeas hearing held in Reidsville, Georgia. We certainly were delighted that you responded to our request in a timely manner.

As always, Imam Jamil sends his greetings and appreciation for the assistance.

Sincerely,

Karima Al-Amin
Attorney at Law
Be sure to read the entire WND article by Art Moore. In light of Holder speaking at an event that not only includes CAIR but is in Detroit, MI of all places really is inexplicable.

VIDEO: ROBERT GIBBS OUTS NBC EMAIL ADDRESSES

At some point, sycophancy will stop currying favor and will start getting you contempt. In this exchange, NBC's Chuck Todd tries to pin down an arrogant Robert Gibbs on the deadline for Obama's signing of a Healthcare bill. Gibbs, obviously perturbed by the notion that he should be pinned down, outs Chuck Todd's unpublished email address.

Adding insult to injury for NBC is the fact that based on the naming convention, it's fairly easy to figure out the email addresses for other NBC reporters.
