VIDEO: RON HOWARD'S BROTHER A CONSERVATIVE?

You've likely seen Ron Howard's brother, Clint in different movies, including the Waterboy with Adam Sandler. The former Happy Days star is a well known liberal, probably in the top tier of Hollywood liberals. However, if this ad is any indication of the political persuasion of his brother Clint, we may have a Conservative actor on our hands.

I'm fairly confident that Opie didn't direct this ad.

OBAMA SPIRITUAL ADVISOR HAS MUSLIM TIES

Obama's latest spiritual advisor, Joel Hunter - pastor of Northland, a Church Distributed in Orlando, FL - has a very suspect track record when it comes to individuals and groups he has chosen to align with. We all know Jeremiah Wright had a problem with the Jews; it came out in his sermons based on Black Liberation Theology. Another Obama spiritual advisor, Jim Wallis, is clearly a marxist. Joel Hunter is the apparent latest in a line of advisors to the president who is anti-Israel.

Ted Shoebat has written an article that outlines much of what makes Hunter (pictured) less than a reputable source for the defense of Obama's Christianity:
His partners in bashing Israel were Muhammad Musri, Steven Engel, and Thomas Wenski. Musri, is the president of The Islamic Society of Central Florida. When Christian convert Rifqa Bary ran away from her Muslim family in order to protect herself from an honor killing, Musri questioned her honesty calling Rifqa "nothing more than a troubled teen" and a "rebellion" caused "by far-right religious groups" to even deny that there’s “no such thing as honor killing in the Koran".

According to the St. Petersburg Times, he declared Arab converts to Christianity were bribed liars “using tales of conversion to get financial backing from evangelical ministries." Musri attended an Islamist event on the theme of "Balancing Civil Liberties and Security" with CAIR members and some of the most extremist Saudi funded Islamists - Zulfiqar Ali Shah of ICNA and MAS and now CEO of the Universal Heritage Foundation in Kissimmee.

Hunter spoke at The Common Word conference sponsored by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal alongside Dr. Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), an unindicted co-conspirator with Universal Heritage which gave $12 million to Hamas, the biggest fundraising for Hamas in US history.
Remember, bin Talal is the Saudi prince whom then New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani refused to take money from after the 9/11 attacks. Unfortunately, bin Talal is also the second largest shareholder of Fox News's parent company, NewsCorp. I mention that for those who want to scream hypocrisy - for the record, I have a big problem with NewsCorp courting bin Talal. Besides, two wrongs do not a right make.

Perhaps the most eye-opening find from Shoebat has to do with the connection between Hunter and ground zero mosque Imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf:
Joel Hunter was even signatory on the Al-Sahafa article, alongside with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf of Masjid al-Farah in New York City, supporting the “Arab Peace Initiative", agreed by Yasser Arafat, which called for the complete withdrawal from the Syrian Golan Heights. Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf (aka Ground Zero Mosque Imam) is the Muslim peace activist who said that the "United States’ policies were an accessory" to 9/11 because "we have been accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. In fact, in the most direct sense, Osama bin Laden is made in the USA."
It takes a special kind of whacko to be a joint signatory with Rauf, in light of all that we've learned about the latter.
