Videos: ACORN's Bertha Lewis Rips Her Mask Off

These are phenomenal pieces of video that show the true face of Bertha Lewis, the former head of ACORN. Both of these clips come courtesy of Verum Serum. In the first one, Bertha admits to using "dirty tricks" to influence the outcome of a vote. If we had an actual Justice Department, this woman would be investigated for illegal activities.

This next clip doesn't so much reveal possible illegal behavior so much as the real Bertha, who bemoans how she had to put on a polite face in television interviewers who wanted to know about all those undercover videos that showed her organization's offices near unanimously offering to facilitate underage prostitution.

She then says there will never be a "post racial" America. Does that mean she believes in black supremacy?

It would seem so. In the world of reality, we call that racism.

Keep talkin' Bertha. Please, just keep talkin'

Rep. Darrell Issa Urges US Atty in New York to Investigate ACORN for OWS Involvement

News broke a couple of weeks ago that ACORN was involved in paying people to participate in the Occupy Wall Street protests. About a week later, another report alleged that the ACORN office in New York - which had been renamed 'New York Communities for Change (NYCC) - began shredding documents and firing people they thought were responsible for the leaks. These reports have prompted House Oversight committee chairman, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) to send a letter to the US Attorney in New York, Loretta Lynch, urging a probe into ACORN's activities.

HERE is a copy of the letter.

As if we needed it, this just serves as further evidence that ACORN simply changed its name, hoping to operate with greater obscurity. Changing the name on the front door is all they did.

Via Fox News:
In an Oct. 26. report, FoxNews.com quoted sources within NYCC who said that the group -- run and staffed by nearly all former ACORN employees -- was asking for donations for specific charitable purposes, including for the teachers union and PCB toxin testing in New York City schools.

However, those donations were being rerouted to pay for Occupy Wall Street protests, the sources said.

Issa requests Lynch to "investigate these allegations to determine if they have merit and prosecute any wrongdoing accordingly."

When asked to comment on Issa's letter, Lynch's spokesman Robert Nardoza would only say, "I have no comment as it is a matter of policy that we do not confirm/deny or discuss investigations."

A spokesman for NYCC did not immediately return FoxNews.com's request for comment.

Issa's letter quotes from the initial FoxNews.com report. In that report, sources described how staff members collected door-to-door for the PCB campaign but then pooled the money and sent it elsewhere.
Issa can't be all that hopeful that Lynch is going to do much of anything. The 'no comment' line from her spokesman may seem standard but at some level, it just reinforces the notion that Obama is ACORN and ACORN is Obama. Once again, Eric Holder is at the head of the Department that oversees all US Attorneys.

At some point, this administration exchanged corruption for wickedness.

ACORN is Back: Follow the Sound of the Shredders

Last week it was learned that the former ACORN office in New York was operating as the New York Communities for Change (NYCC) and very involved in Occupy Wall Street. Other than the optics of a new sign above the door, nothing had really changed. Apparently, ever since Fox News reported on this, the document shredders have been running at full speed in that office. Changing the name on the door is definitely easier than changing the name on every document inside. Once again, however, these tools of the left attempt to escape accountability by telling their employees to lie.

Via Fox News:
Officials with the revamped ACORN office in New York -- operating as New York Communities for Change -- have fired staff, shredded reams of documents and told workers to blame disgruntled ex-employees for leaking information in an effort to explain away a FoxNews.com report last week on the group’s involvement in Occupy Wall Street protests, according to sources.

NYCC also is installing surveillance cameras and recording devices at its Brooklyn offices, removing or packing away supplies bearing the name ACORN and handing out photos of Fox News staff with a stern warning not to talk to the media, the sources said.

“They’re doing serious damage control right now,” said an NYCC source.
ACORN? Damage control? Nah.

Perhaps the best part of the story could be likened to ACORN's version of a 'Who's on FIrst' bit. According to sources, the NYCC's organizing director, Jonathan Westin called an emergency meeting to discuss last week's Fox report. When the subject of paying its members to protest, things got a little muddled:
“They reminded us that we can get fired, sued, arrested for talking to the press,” the source said. “Then they went through the article point-by-point and said that the allegation that we pay people to protest isn’t true.”

“‘That’s the story that we’re sticking to,’” Westin said, according to the source.

The source said staffers at the meeting contested Westin’s denial:

“It was pretty funny. Jonathan told staff they don’t pay for protesters, but the people in the meeting who work there objected and said, ‘Wait, you pay us to go to the protests every day?’ Then Jonathan said ‘No, but that’s your job,’ and staffers were like, ‘Yeah, our job is to protest,’ and Westin said, ‘No your job is to fight for economic and social justice. We just send you to protest.’

“Staff said, ‘Yes, you pay us to carry signs.’ Then Jonathan says, ‘That’s your job.’ It went on like that back and forth for a while.”
Maybe we're getting to the bottom of the left's confusion about jobs. Jobs typically refer to work that is done for reimbursement. In the case of Westin, he's telling his workers that they are not getting paid for the work they're doing; they're getting paid for doing their jobs.

Left wing insanity. More about the report from last week that prompted the document shredding can be found HERE.

Obama Again Standing with ACORN

When a left wing movement needs an injection, who do you call? ACORN, that's who. It appears that the office for the much beleaguered Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) is a hub of supportive activity for the Occupy Wall Street protesters. Remember, ACORN has been thoroughly disgraced and discredited on multiple fronts - including several offices' willingness to help shelter a prostitution ring that used 14-year-old foreign children - that it had to go underground and actually changed its name in New York to New York Communities for Change (NYCC). Remember, Barack Obama is standing with OWS protesters and by extension, he's standing with ACORN... again.

Via Fox News:
The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.

The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.

NYCC’s connection to ACORN isn’t a tenuous one: It works from the former ACORN offices in Brooklyn, uses old ACORN office stationery, employs much of the old ACORN staff and, according to several sources, engages in some of the old organization’s controversial techniques to raise money, interest and awareness for the protests.

Sources said NYCC has hired about 100 former ACORN-affiliated staff members from other cities – paying some of them $100 a day - to attend and support Occupy Wall Street. Dozens of New York homeless people recruited from shelters are also being paid to support the protests, at the rate of $10 an hour, the sources said.
Based on what is quite publicly known about ACORN, it's likely a sign of desperation for Obama to once again align with the group. Make no mistake; by expressing support for the protesters, that's exactly what he's doing unless he denounces ACORN.

If OWS fails, it will be a huge blow to this administration. Perhaps that's why the ACORN zombies are being resurrected.

VIdeo: John Stossel's Public Confession to Breitbart

John Stossel's stock should rise with you after watching this clip. At the time Andrew Breitbart was breaking the ACORN story back in 2009, Stossel worked at ABC's 20/20. In this recent exchange between Stossel, who is now at Fox Business, and Breitbart, the former 20/20 reporter candidly admits that Breitbart presented the ACORN story to him but that he rejected it because of 'politics at ABC.' That's interesting in light of ABC's Charlie Gibson's admission after the story broke that he 'didn't even know about it.' When someone comes clean like Stossel does here, it's a sign of character.

Video: ACORN's Bertha Lewis Sings 'Wal-Mart Sucks' at Earthaluja Church

On May 1st at the Earthaluja Church in New York City - as Osama Bin Laden was being shot - former ACORN Executive Director was leading the flock in song. It was replete with Gospel music and a message of love... for anyone who thinks 'Wal-Mart Sucks.' It's actually kinda catchy too. The background vocals are a nearly perfect added touch.

Osama Bin Laden and Saul Alinsky not that Far Apart

One similarity both Osama Bin Laden and Saul Alinsky share is that both are now dead. Another similarity appears to have been very similar tactics. In the case of uncle Saul - the father of Community Organizing - those tactics began with a very simple premise; exploit the poor and downtrodden by rubbing raw the sores of discontent. This is the mentality that helped give birth to ACORN. It promoted friction and strife along racial and economic lines. It's very well-documented. The class warfare that's taking place right now is being exacerbated by Barack Obama, the Community Organizer in chief and his administration.

Fast forward to Bin Laden's death and the confiscation of his hard drives. Much of the information found on those computers shows that Bin Laden employed the same tactics.

Via ABC News:
Osama bin Laden aspired to damage the United States not only through persistent terror attacks, but also by attempting to inflame race and class tensions in hopes of tearing down the country from the inside out, according to officials briefed on the evidence trove recovered from the al Qaeda leader's Pakistan compound.

According to materials in the cache of documents recovered in the U.S. Navy SEAL raid that brought down the terror leader, bin Laden planned to specifically recruit African-American Muslim converts to carry out attacks on the homeland. The goal was to not only kill and maim in the actual operations, but to create a divisiveness that would cause more damage than al Qaeda could ever hope to do on their own.

"Because there were many blacks in the U.S., he wanted to capitalize on them to further the jihadi cause," one U.S. official told ABC News. "Al Qaeda sees the black convert community as ripe for recruiting."

While it has long been known that radical preachers and some prison imams have targeted the convert community for jihad recruitment, the references show core al Qaeda's keen interest in the tactic.
Another very telling aspect to this is that CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper is now in denial mode over these claims.

Election Fraud in Wisconsin?

On April 5th, there was an election in Wisconsin that would shift the power of the state's Supreme Court, which is currently made up of 4 Republicans and 3 Democrats. In light of where the new labor law appears to be heading - The Wisconsin State Supreme Court, the union thugs took great interest in the election. On the ballot was Republican incumbent Justice David Prosser and liberal activist (that's the Democrat), JoAnne Kloppenburg. As the results came in, it became clear it would be another close race. With 97% of the precincts in, Prosser was ahead by several hundred votes. Then, at the last hour, Kloppenburg pulled it out, winning by 204 votes.

With the history of Democrat tactics in elections, this one so blatantly raises eyebrows that fraud is practically a foregone conclusion. We're getting to the point where the left can't even deny it anymore. The problem has been that the Republicans have historically not been able to overcome these tricks - see Al Franken.

However, there appear to be some big red flags with these ballots.

Via The Daily Caller:
Wisconsin citizens and election experts are questioning the veracity of the state’s Supreme Court race, which the Associated Press reports left-wing legal activist JoAnne Kloppenburg won by 204 votes over Justice David Prosser, out of the more than 1.4 million votes.

On an estimated more than 10,000 ballots in Dane County, Wisconsin, where the state capital Madison is, voters selected only a pick in the Supreme Court race, while leaving even the hotly contested mayoral and county executive choices blank. That raises red flags for election experts like Scott St. Clair of the Freedom Foundation, a conservative think tank.

“This is the state that wrote the book on squeaker elections,” St. Clair told The Daily Caller. “I wouldn’t put it past somebody in Wisconsin to be selectively revealing ballots or conveniently finding ballots because this is the kind of stuff we’ve seen in the past before. I think it’s also important to note that Wisconsin and Illinois are neighbors and how they vote in Chicago doesn’t necessarily stop at the state line.”
Democrats are increasingly playing with fire if they are indeed behind massive voter fraud. There will be a day of reckoning. They will be found out. When that day comes, it will make the ACORN scandal look like a jaywalking offense. In this case, the left has decided to pull out all of the stops in a Supreme Court election. A Supreme Court Justice may have the ability to overturn a few more rocks than an attorney representing a congressional or senatorial candidate.

ACORN Going International; Offices in Egypt and Elsewhere

ACORN may have suffered a mortal blow in the United States when James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles exposed them with undercover videos in 2009 but it is now popping up in other parts of the world. Wade Rathke, former SDS member and founder of ACORN, sent a message to his supporters boasting about the early success of ACORN's international operations, which he is leading. The corrupt community organizing group has offices in Czechoslovakia, North Korea, and Egypt among others.

Via Nola:
In his message, Rathke noted that ACORN International just added a new affiliate in South Korea, known as Asian Bridge, and that activists in Prague had begun an organization called ACORN Comrades Club, with which he is communicating via Skype from his home in New Orleans.

"And, perhaps even more thrilling, I have now heard from a number of activists involved in organizing in Cairo in the last several weeks. They are talking about developing a 'Peoples' Plan' for development in a number of the poorer areas in the wake of the democracy debate and want to connect with our efforts in doing a similar plan after Katrina in New Orleans," Rathke wrote.
Comrades, huh? Considering the Muslim Brotherhood only used the secularists who spearheaded the uprising in Egypt until they were no longer useful, it will be interesting to see what ACORN's timetable is.

Former ACORN Leader to Head Obama's Reelection Campaign

The man who holds the equivalent of the job Karl Rove held in the Bush administration is apparently leaving that gig to head up Organizing For America (OFA) so he can work on Obama's reelection campaign. Patrick Gaspard is apparently a seasoned Alinsky-ite as well. The gall here is palpable though. As Republicans in the House consider mixed seating at Tuesday's State of the Union speech in order to demonstrate civility, Obama taps a guy who used to lead an organization that's already proven to be thoroughly corrupt, to coordinate his reelection efforts.

Via Matthew Vadum at the Daily Caller:
Gaspard comes from the same world of radical left-wing community organizing that shaped Barack Obama. Gaspard is well schooled in the brutal, street-smart organizing tactics taught by the late Saul Alinsky, author of Rules for Radicals. He’s the hatchet man Obama sent to New York over a year ago to strong-arm then-Gov. David Paterson into dropping his reelection campaign. As executive director running the DNC’s day-to-day operations Gaspard will oversee Organizing for America, a project of the DNC supposedly modeled on Alinskyite organizing principles. (Former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine will remain as general chairman of the DNC.)

Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo to Haitian parents, very little is known about this Rasputin-like power behind the throne. Gaspard shuns publicity and is extremely reluctant to speak to the media on the record. Look him up on Nexis and you will find virtually nothing about this otherwise influential counselor to the leader of the free world.

But his colleagues hold him in high esteem. “Patrick is the best political mind of his generation in New York and maybe the nation,” according to Kevin Sheekey, a lieutenant of New York mayor Michael Bloomberg. “I wouldn’t dispute that,” added David Axelrod, a senior advisor in the Obama White House.

Gaspard came to the White House from ACORN’s favorite labor organization, Service Employees International Union. (SEIU Locals 100 and 880 were until recently official affiliates of ACORN.) He had been executive vice president for political and legislative affairs for SEIU Local 1199 United Healthcare Workers East, which claims to be the largest union local on the planet “representing more than 300,000 members and retirees in New York, Maryland, the District of Columbia and Massachusetts.”

Gaspard was previously revealed to be political director for ACORN’s New York branch. Although the source of this information, ACORN founder Wade Rathke, has since feigned senility and claimed he was mistaken, other evidence points to Gaspard’s involvement with the nation’s most notorious activist group.

UAW Tones Down Rhetoric, Issues Threat

In an obvious attempt to apply the lessons of the incendiary rhetoric the left says lay the groundwork for the recent shootings in Tucson, the United Auto Workers (UAW) has decided to issue veiled threats and levy unsubstantiated allegations against transplant automakers that produce vehicles in the United States and who are not unionized. However, in fairness to UAW president Bob King, he is assuring Toyota and Honda that the UAW has cleaned up its act and the foreign automakers have nothing to fear.

Unless, of course, they don't unionize - then, they're violating human rights.

Via AutoBlog:
After King informed the transplants that the dark side has no power over the UAW, he then went on to tell automaker management at Toyota and Honda that efforts to block the right to fair bargaining will be branded "human rights violators." King reportedly went on to accuse some transplants of spending millions to keep unions out of plants, adding "I would not want to be a company that was branded as a human rights violator." And what happens if the UAW feels the automakers are continuing to block workers' rights to vote for or against the right to organize? King says the next step is to stage global protests that could cost automakers "hundreds of millions of dollars" to combat.
Nothing like ripping a page out of ACORN's playbook, right?

GRANDMOTHER OF COMMUNITY ORGS CALLING FOR REVOLUTION

Her name is Frances Fox Piven and in the 1960's, with her husband Richard Cloward came up with a strategy to overwhelm government entitlement programs until they could no longer support the angry masses that demanded to be taken care of. The resulting revolt was the goal of their National Welfare Rights Organization (NWRO). In a recent column written by Piven, she appears to be calling for a physical revolution. Ron Radosh at Pajamas Media provides an analysis of Piven's latest missive that appears in the far left Nation magazine:

Via Pajamas Media:
Now, as our national economy and many state and city budgets again are at the breaking point, Frances Fox Piven has issued a new call to repeat and build upon the ruinous strategies that she and her late husband advanced decades ago. And as in 1966, her vehicle is The Nation, the flagship magazine of the Left which today has a huge circulation and much greater influence than it had in the 1960s.

Writing in the current issue, Piven presents [4] a clarion call for a new mass movement, one that the magazine publishes as an editorial statement representing its editors. (It is currently under the magazine’s firewall.) She begins by noting that nothing is taking place to deal with ending what she claims is an unemployment rate of 15 million people. To regain the 5 percent rate of 2007, she estimates there would have to be 300,000 jobs created each month for several years, something that is next to impossible.

Thus Piven asks a question: “So where are the angry crowds, the demonstrations, sit-ins and unruly mobs?” In other words, the kind of action her protégé George Wiley fomented in the 70s with the NWRO. She admonishes the Left not to wait for “the end of the American empire and even the end of neoliberal capitalism,” but to up the ante at present to pressure for “big new [government] initiatives in infrastructure and green energy” that could “ward off the darkness.” Her fear is that the new Congress, instead of moving in the direction she and the Left favors, will concentrate on “deficit reduction by means of tax cuts and spending cuts.” As for President Obama, she sees him as a new version of Herbert Hoover, who foolishly meets with corporate executives and seeks to placate them.
Later, Piven outwardly calls for uprisings here in the United States similar to what's going on in Greece and Great Britain. Here is the relevant excerpt from Piven's piece:
An effective movement of the unemployed will have to look something like the strikes and riots that have spread across Greece in response to the austerity measures forced on the Greek government by the European Union, or like the student protests that recently spread with lightning speed across England in response to the prospect of greatly increased school fees.
Radosh ends his analysis on a positive note, pointing to the fact that NWRO no longer exists and ACORN has been significantly crippled. That said, there is a noticeable increase in incendiary rhetoric coming from the left lately.

Here is a video of Piven from 2004 explaining her take on when violence is acceptable:

AUDIO: OBAMA SAID SUB-PRIME LENDING A 'GOOD IDEA'

As the Sub Prime mortgage crisis was unfolding in 2007, the money trail led right to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. On September 17, 2007 Barack Obama spoke at Nasdaq and actually said the practice 'started off as a good idea, helping Americans buy homes who previously couldn't afford to.' Sounds like a 'Joe the Plumber' moment before the now infamous 'Joe the Plumber' moment right before the election.

Via Gateway Pundit

For the latest spin on this, check out this Reuters article, which basically says it wasn't the practice of lending to unqualified borrowers that caused the problem; it was predatory lending practices applied to minorities. In other words, those racist bankers, though forced to lend to unqualified applicants, were actually racist for demanding payment, I guess.

Obama represented ACORN in a lawsuit against Citibank in 1994 so it would make sense that he thought sub prime lending was a good idea. The incredibly bizarre aspect to this story is that all of this information was available before the 2008 election and Obama was still voted in to office.

Wow.

VIDEO: THE TANGLED WEB OF VOTER FRAUD IN TEXAS

First, the video news report from Houston's Fox affiliate on August 27th of this year. A three alarm fire broke out inside a warehouse and destroyed Harris county's entire stock of voting machines - nearly 10,000. Harris county had been under suspicion of voter fraud during the 2008 elections. On August 24th of this year - just three days before this fire - the county's voter registrar issued a press release that let it publicly be known his office was aware of an organized attack on the voting process.

Here is the August 27th News Report

Now, to the August 24th Press Release from the Harris County Registrar, Leo Vasquez. As in all things leftwing, name changes are in abundance:
“The integrity of the voting rolls in Harris County, Texas, appears to be under an organized and systematic attack by the group operating under the name 'Houston Votes.' Houston Votes is the voter registration machine of the 'Texans Together Education Fund.' Houston Votes and Texans Together have effectively emerged as our area's new 'ACORN' organization."
Three days later, the fire.

Red State has put together a string of at least seven coincidences that should raise several eyebrows about this. Go figure; one of those coincidences involves an SEIU connection.

ACORN WHISTLE BLOWER FILING FEC SUIT AGAINST OBAMA

I have become increasingly jaded when it comes to the potential for justice to be done when it involves politicians being caught and held accountable for egregious lawbreaking. Charlie Rangel notwithstanding, former ACORN employee turned whistle blower Anita Moncrief, likely has an uphill battle on her hands when she files FEC charges against Barack Obama relative to his 2008 campaign. She appears to have the goods on Obama but supposedly, so did Blagojevich. As an aside, note that not only did Blago decide not to take the stand but also not required to testify were Tony Rezko, Rahm Emanuel, Valerie Jarrett, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, or Obama; the defense rested after two days.

But I digress. Anita Moncrief has released donor lists that contain the names of people who donated to the Obama campaign in 2008. She claims that Obama's people gave the lists to ACORN so the community organization could get them to donate again, despite already giving the maximum amount.

Moncrief has a new website called Emerging Corruption. On it, she has posted a 700+ page document, containing thousands of names of people / entities who had already donated to the campaign. In 2008, Moncrief was working with a New York Times reporter named Stephanie Strom and provided this and other information to Strom.
As a confidential source for the New York Times, I turned this document over to reporter Stephanie Strom months before the 2008 presidential elections and though the list includes information more complete than what the Obama campaign turned over to the Federal Election Commission, the NYT decided to bury the story.
In light of the JourNolist scandal, which proved that the New York Times itself had people on the listserv that collaborated and conspired to control the news, what happened next, when viewed through that prism, says quite a bit. In fact, it should be considered criminal all by itself. Strom emailed Moncrief in the days leading up to the 2008 election. Here is a portion of that email:
“I’m calling a halt to my efforts. I just had two unpleasant calls with the Obama campaign, wherein the spokesman was screaming and yelling and cursing me, calling me a rightwing nut and a conspiracy theorist and everything else…”
I don't know about you but these attempts to control the media by the Obama campaign are eerily reminiscent of what Rod Blagojevich tried to do with the Chicago Tribune. Also, remember what Blago told his Chief of Staff John Harris when talking about Obama and Rezko, another huge fundraiser:

"(Obama's) more Tony'd up than I am."

Be sure to read it all.

VIDEO: ACORN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR BERTHA LEWIS ARRESTED

Talk about a perversion. Communists, Socialists, and Marxists assembling on a busy street in New York City to protest in support of illegal aliens who break the law. Bertha Lewis, Executive Director of the Association of Community Organisms for Reform Now is arrested and led away in handcuffs while her fellow Socialists actually have the gall to sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Here's a photo of Bertha emphasizing one of her pointless points some time ago. See if you can spot her in the video. Word of Caution: Unless you have an interest in listening to people who can't sing belt out, "We Shall Overcome" over and over and over again, fast forward to the 7:30 mark.

That's when the Socialists decide to change their tune to America's national anthem. Aside from utterly butchering it, apparently lost on all of them is the fact that it represents everything they're protesting against - an America free from tyranny and the rule of law.

This truly is Twilight Zone stuff. Keep watching to see Bertha led away in handcuffs.

h/t to Verum Serum for posting the videos.

As Verum Serum points out, it wasn't all that long ago that Bertha spoke to the Young Democratic Socialists - a group with strong ties to Communists and Marxists. Look no further than THIS page of the the YDS website. It starts out with, "Dear Comrade".

Here is Bertha speaking to YDS in March.

VIDEOS: EVIDENCE OF WHITE HOUSE THUGOCRACY?

May 15th - 17th are definitely dates to be familiar with. That is when a group called National People's Action (NPA) will be descending on Wall Street to outwardly demonize and demagogue banks. If not for James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, NPA may have sent ACORN instead but alas, that layer of the onion has already been peeled away. Billed as the Showdown on K Street, NPA is calling all thugs to help them bully bankers.

As we learn more and more about the left, we learn that they love to create various groups with positive sounding names. They do this, in part, to provide cover for the overall movement. If ACORN was the biggest and most powerful left wing group, the jig would be up. If not for groups like the Center for American Progress (CAP), Van Jones may have dropped off into obscurity. Instead, he's a fellow with CAP and has the ear of John Podesta.

Now we appear to have ACORN on steroids, in the form of NPA. Founding Bloggers is reporting that NPA may have more culpability in the housing crisis than ACORN did:
This group is at the very center of the real estate bubble-bust brought on by the dreaded CRA, and they are organizing an army of unions to march on Wall Street and blame the entirety of the economic disaster on the evil rich.
A sister organization of NPA is the National Training and Information Center (NTIC). They have a history of misappropriating federal grant dollars but to keep from getting too confused with all of these acronyms, just know that they all fall under the Community Organizing umbrella. In fact, the downfall of ACORN has left a void that is being filled by NPA and NTIC.

Via Founding Bloggers, here is a video of SEIU president Andy Stern giving a speech in Chicago last year in which he 'rubbed raw the sores of discontent' and directed the subsequent anger at bankers. In reality, as the man who had the most White House visits, Stern is doing the Obama administration's bidding and vice versa. Corporate America and the free market is under attack and these thugs are ginning up anger in order to do it.

Another video that is very important is this one of John McKnight, another Alinsky-ite. McKnight was a mentor of Barack Obama during the latter's indoctrination into the Alinsky methods. McKnight is on the Board of the Gamaliel Foundation, an outfit inspired by Saul Alinsky.

VIDEO: ACORN CEO BERTHA LEWIS UNMASKS HERSELF

In light of Bill Clinton's comments last week drawing parallels between the Tea Party movement and the anti-government sentiment prior to the Oklahoma CIty bombing, this takes on added significance. While speaking at an event for the Young Democratic Socialists (YDS), ACORN head Bertha Lewis expresses love for anyone who is young and socialist.

Don't stop watching there. Lewis says some alarming things about the Tea Party movement's plans to unleash their "racism", thereby ushering in a time worse than McCarthyism or internment during WWII.

Considering the founder of ACORN - Wade Rathke - was a member of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), a group that gave birth to Bill Ayers' Weather Underground, one can find strong similarities between the old SDS and YDS, where Lewis was speaking. Take particular note of Lewis expressing her fear of the Tea Party movement opening up internment camps.

via Verum Serum

After watching that, take a look at this. The only evidence of any plans for camps comes from the far left. Remember, the Weather Underground was formed when the SDS splintered. Larry Grathwohl, the only person to successfully infiltrate the Weather Underground for the FBI has testified under oath that group's leadership, including Bill Ayers, planned on sending capitalists to re-education centers and eliminating 25 million people.

VIDEO: OBAMA CAUGHT LYING ABOUT ACORN

I know the name, "Obama" and the word "Liar" have become virtually synonymous lately but this one may lower the bar even for him. At CPAC, California representative Darrell Issa (R) showed a video of Barack Obama privately addressing ACORN during the 2008 presidential campaign basically highlighting his past support of ACORN while pledging future support.

That video is at the end of a video posted by Gateway Pundit, which contrasts what Obama said publicly on the campaign trail about ACORN - distancing himself from the group - followed by what he actually said to ACORN in 2008.

There was a time when this would be a huge deal but in these insane times, everyone seems unfazed.

Of course, what Obama / ACORN post would be complete without this?

WOW: CONGRESSIONAL RESEARCH SERVICE SAYS ACORN CLEAN

No one should really be shocked by this but in light of what ACORN has been caught enabling, it's still shocking. Representative John Conyers (D-MI) heading the Judiciary Committee should be shocking too. So should the fact that multiple ACORN offices across the United States were willing to help a pimp and a prostitute get housing assistance so they could open up a brothel that offered illegal alien children from El Salvador to its customers.

But alas, in addition to there being nothing wrong with that, the filmmakers who exposed it could be in violation of state laws and subject to prosecution.

According to POLITICO:
A Congressional Research Service report commissioned by the House Judiciary Committee says ACORN hasn’t violated any federal regulations the past five years.

The report, released by Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers’s (D-Mich.) staff Tuesday evening, also reports that the undercover filmmakers that allegedly caught employees of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now breaking the law may have violated state law in their filming operation.
Conyers, whose district includes the northwest section of Detroit, would seemingly be better served by looking in the mirror. Detroit is an absolute disaster.
