BARRACK COLUMN - LUCIFER AND HEALTH CARE

Today's column targets Obama's unabashed attempt to defy the will of the American people via the health care monstrosity and how doing so may one day come home to roost. His motives were learned as a student of Saul Alinsky. The latter's atheism was trumped only by his overt mocking of God-fearing individuals by dedicating his last book, "Rules for Radicals" to the devil himself.

Barack has one heck of a mentor, huh?
LUCIFER'S FINGERPRINTS ON HEALTH CARE BILL

One of the more recognizable photos of Barack Obama's ideological mentor, Saul Alinsky, includes a prominently featured sign in the background displaying the word “FIGHT”. Hillary Clinton's Alinsky-inspired senior thesis at Wellesley College was titled, “There is Only the Fight”.

Offering a perceived advantage to his students, Alinsky taught them to ignore ethical considerations while doing battle and preached that the ends justify the means.

When coupled with Obama's refusal to accept defeat on health care, the implication should be clear; if you keep fighting for what you want without regard for how you get it, you will indeed get it. This is what Barack Obama believes at his very core. It is who he is and as a man who used such tactics to become president, he likely believes they will never fail him as long as he never stops fighting. After all, Alinsky afforded him an advantage.

As the health care bill runs into increasingly stiffer resistance, Obama will reveal who he truly is to more and more people. In a clear signal the House of Representatives isn't confident it will get the votes it needs to pass the Senate Bill, the Democratic leadership has actually considered a rule – the Slaughter Solution – named after the woman who heads the Rules Committee, that would blatantly violate the U.S. Constitution.

The question Barack Obama will have to ask himself before signing a bill placed on his desk via those kinds of means is a simple one. Is it worth it?

Whether it's the Slaughter Solution or some other egregious affront to the Constitution that gets the bill to Obama, his fingerprints will be all over that bill – along with his signature. Ironically, Obama has been adroit when keeping his fingerprints off of things that might do him political harm.

Knowingly signing a Bill that was illegally passed very well could be an impeachable offense and based on the polls, Republicans are likely to have a substantial majority in the House of Representatives, which is the House of Congress responsible for drawing up articles of Impeachment. But having little or no regard for means necessarily translates to minimal concern for consequences.

If health care passes, Obama's belief in the Alinsky model will be validated in his own mind. That fact alone goes a long way in explaining the unethical and possibly unlawful tactics being used to pass it.

If health care fails, the Alinsky model will be shattered and Obama will be face to face with a failed paradigm; it is one he has held in such high regard for so long and will have been exposed as terribly flawed. Arrogance will go into overdrive. It will attempt to suppress the truth further; it will also find a willing subject in Obama, who will be eager to allow it to take even more control.

The man whose work Barack Obama has so revered will have been proven fallible and Obama, by extension, will be proven wrong for having put so much faith in it.

Alinsky dedicated his last book to Lucifer, who was known for arrogantly pursuing what he wanted without regard for means or consequences. Obama should not be surprised when things don't go well after doing the same thing.
