Video: Axelrod channels Bloomberg

During an interview on MSNBC, Barack Obama senior adviser David Axelrod toll Chuck Todd that when the Boston marathon bombings went off, Obama thought they may have selected April 15th because it was 'tax day'. Axelrod then started to suggest it was someone with a "pro..." agenda. He caught himself and didn't finish the word but in light if the Kermit Gosnell trial, odds are that 'pro-life' or 'pro-gun' were the options rolling around beneath the combover.

Remember Michael Bloomberg telling Katie Couric that the Times Square bomber could have been someone unhappy with Obamacare?

Video: Did Barack Obama give Chuck Todd the Finger?

At a joint press conference in Jerusalem, Chuck Todd was playfully cajoled by Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after attempting to ask too many questions, one of which involved asking Obama why he "failed" to achieve Middle East peace. After the laughter died down, Todd asked Netanyahu why Obama hasn't been accepted by the Israelis as much as America's last two presidents (Bush and Clinton). Obama obviously didn't like that question and as he laughed while accusing Todd of being "incorrigible", Obama seemed to give Todd the middle finger.

Judge for yourself.

Video: Morning Joe panel laughs over joke about Lindsey Graham being homosexual

A little over two years ago, William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) made news at a Tea Party when he demanded that Senator Lindsey Graham 'come out of the log cabin closet', a not-so-subtle charge that the senior Senator from South Carolina is a homosexual. Feeding that rumor has likely been Graham's status as an older, unmarried man.

Enter the Morning Joe crew. This morning, during their 6am airing of the show, guest John Heilemann referred to the 'three amigos' (John McCain, Lindsey Graham, and Kelly Ayotte) as being made up of two women, an obvious jab at Graham over the rumors.

Consider...
  1. MSNBC is a known ventriloquist dummy for the White House; that is much more well known than what Graham's sexual preference is.
  2. Indications are that the three Senators were expected to play nice in their meeting with Susan Rice less than twenty-four hours before Heilemann's comment. It didn't. In fact, Graham said he's more troubled now than he was before the meeting.
  3. Whether the rumors about Graham are true or not, the White House could conceivably benefit from someone like Heilemann joking about it. If there's truth to the rumor, the joke could be seen as a shot across the bow. If there's no truth to it, people are talking about it anyway (instead of Rice's credibility).
On the other hand, the 8am re-airing of the program edited this part out.

Scarborough syndrome's grip on S.E. Cupp seems to be tightening

After the Republican National convention, S.E. Cupp, who is billed as the lone conservative among three liberals on the MSNBC show The Cycle, expressed outrage over Clint Eastwood's bit with an empty chair starring as Barack Obama. Now, when the subject of a Barack Obama campaign ad that features Lena Dunham blatantly comparing sex with voting for Obama, Cupp is fine with it.

As I wrote at the time, Cupp seems to be coming down with Scarborough syndrome (named after Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough), which can be defined as follows (yes, it's satire):
A condition in which conservatives who are surrounded by liberals every day, find their views increasingly malleable as they incrementally cede what they believe to be minor points in the hopes of gaining acceptance and / or avoiding conflict. This often results in a slow transformation toward the adoption of a new ideology. An interesting dynamic that can help expedite this process occurs when conservatives attempt to challenge the subject on his / her new views. The subject can feel as if he / she is being attacked instead of warned. This, coupled with the subject being defended by his / her newfound liberal friends, facilitates that transformation. Thinking that the conservatives are the ones who changed, the subject identifies even more closely with his / her liberal friends.
In the case of Cupp, all one has to do is look at her reactions in these two instances. She was offended by Clint Eastwood's attempt to use humor at Obama's expense but she's not offended at the Obama campaign's attempt to compare voting for the first time to losing one's virginity in the name of humor.

Video: Is S.E. Cupp coming down with Scarborough syndrome?

"Conservative" S.E. Cupp's stinging criticism of Clint Eastwood's speech could be an early indicator that she may be coming down with Scarborough Syndrome.

Joe Scarborough was first elected to Congress in 1994, as part of the 'Contract with America' movement after two years of Bill Clinton. Less than ten years ago, he had his own show on MSNBC - Scarborough Country - in which he was far more conservative than he is today as co-host of Morning Joe. So what happened? Aside from the obvious answer, that the Obama administration all but uses MSNBC as a ventriloquist dummy and its hosts have to be very conscious of how far they can go, Scarborough befriended leftist Mika Brzezinski, who is his co-host. He also surrounds himself with liberals every day.

It is human nature to want to be accepted by one's peers. When those peers are collectivist-minded liberals who would rather gang up on the lone conservative than find differences among themselves, it translates into peer pressure. Conservatives who swim in a tank full of liberals every day can appear to almost subconsciously and slowly cry uncle, ceding what they believe to be minor points in the hopes of gaining acceptance.

That never works. On the contrary, the behavior is reinforced when liberals let up and laugh along or nod in agreement.

That leads to S.E. Cupp. She is a young conservative who recently took a gig at MSNBC as a panelist on a show called The Cycle. Often the lone conservative alongside three very liberal co-hosts, Cupp is susceptible to Joe Scarborough syndrome and her response to Thursday night's Clint Eastwood speech at the convention may be an early symptom. It wasn't just that she didn't like it. The manner in which she expressed that dislike was red meat to her co-hosts. That could be another symptom.

If there was one thing about the Republican convention that got under the skin of the liberal media, it was Eastwood's speech, in which he talked to an empty chair as if Obama was sitting in it. When the subject of Eastwood's speech was brought up, liberals became the most rabid. There are also indications that the speech got under Obama's skin; a tweet was sent out from @BarackObama that included a photo of the president in a chair with a caption that read, "this seat is taken".

Here is S.E. Cupp going overboard in her criticism of Eastwood. Is she in the early stages of Scarborough Syndrome? Her derision did at least two things; it ingratiated her with the liberals she was sitting with and it helped the liberal cause.

Via MediaIte:

Here is a Reuters news report on Eastwood's speech and the tweet that came out of the White House. Clearly, if MSNBC is an arm of the White House and the Eastwood speech got under the skin of Obama to such a degree, did S.E. Cupp decide to keep her job by deriding Eastwood instead of siding with conservatives? Ask yourselves when a liberal would ever ridicule someone on their side like Cupp did Eastwood. There are clearly far more instances in which they should have.

Videos: Paul Ryan's speech and Chris Matthews' Pathetic reaction

Paul Ryan's speech was full of fire, passion, and multiple instances in which he held Barack Obama for his record. He also made fun of the music on Mitt Romney's iPod (he likened it to elevator music). In short, much of what Sarah Palin brought to the convention in 2008, Ryan brought in 2012. That's the biggest reason the mainstream media socialists disapproved.

Via Real Clear Politics:

MSNBC's Chris Matthews watched that speech and thought Ryan was directing his words to racists. No, seriously...

Take That, Race-baiters: 1987 Story on Reporters Shouting at Reagan

The liberal, race-baiting whackos over at MSNBC who seem to think that no president has been so disrespected publicly, point to Joe Wilson, Jan Brewer, and Neil Munro as proof positive that it has more to dow the color of Obama's skin than his propensity for lying about things like never belonging to a socialist political party. Well, thanks to Tom Blumer at NewsBusters, we learn from none other than one of the left's own propaganda arms - the AP in 1987 - that Ronald Reagan endured similar treatment.

Another common refrain from the left is that Munro should have waited until After Obama was done speaking before lobbing any questions the President's way. Munro's response to that argument is that Obama doesn't stick around to answer questions. That was the knock on Reagan in the AP report, which goes a step further, saying that Reagan was to blame for doing so.

Does anyone know the Heimlich maneuver? The irony I'm choking on has blocked by airways.

That all leads me to this exchange via NewsBusters on MSNBC between two race-baiters - Michael Eric Dyson and POLITICO's Joe 'Brother Joe' Williams. Note how Williams said no president has been disrespected more than Obama and then implies it's all because of racism.

DIS-GRACE

Indicator conservative bloggers are winning: We're under Joe Scarborough's skin

What set the liberal Joe Scarborough off in this rant was the notion that conservative bloggers think Jeb Bush  is a RINO after learning that Jeb said Reagan 'would have a hard time' in today's Republican Party because of the demands of its conservative base and its alleged unwillingness to compromise with the other side.

Of course, lost on folks like Jeb Bush is that the Democratic Party of today is far, far left of the Democratic Party of Reagan's time and the Republican Party - until the rise of the Tea Party - had gone much further left as well. We now know that Barack Obama lied about being a registered member of a Socialist Party (New Party).

As for compromise, perhaps someone should direct Jeb to the first two years of the Obama administration. Does the $787 Billion Stimulus or Obamacare ring a bell?

Anyway, here is Scarborough taking his liberal indignation up a notch, ripping conservative bloggers and telling anyone who thinks Jeb is a RINO to 'shut the hell up.' Lost on Scarborough is the fact that unlike him, we conservative bloggers aren't beholden to MSNBC Brass the propaganda arm of the Obama administration and don't sit next to a far left socialist (Mika) for several hours every day.

Before you watch the clip, keep this quote in mind (often attributed to Ghandi but origin unknown):
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they ridicule you, then you win.
Take heart, conservative bloggers. Joe Scarborough is in the ridicule stage. You're almost there.

Wow! Chris Matthews is really bitter about that Tingle

When you get right down to it, there are three things that really upset Chris Matthews when you bring up his comment in 2008 that Barack Obama sends 'a thrill' up his leg. First and foremost, he's upset that it appears to becoming the centerpiece of his legacy; that comment is making him the poster child for the death of objective journalism and if he doesn't know that, he's learning it incrementally. The second thing is that he must inherently know at some level that Obama's policies are failing. Lastly, he is EXTREMELY hypersensitive about his 'thrill' being referred to as a 'tingle.' Naturally, this distinction without a real difference only increases the frequency of that word choice from the right.

Now, to this awesome Chris Matthews meltdown. Just hit play and watch his reaction to a C-SPAN moderator who reads the 2008 quote back to Matthews and asks him if he still feels the same way. At that very moment, Chris had to open up his heart and let all of his anger out; there was no stopping him.

Via FORA.tv (h/t Hot Air):

Chris Matthews: Jackasses, Stop Asking About Obama Speech from National Cable and Telecommunications Association on FORA.tv

I'm suddenly in the mood for this clip from Morning Joe the day after Matthews uttered the now infamous words in 2008. It's moments like this one that continued to build until they culminated with the outburst Matthews had with the C-SPAN guy:

Video: Chris Matthews' bald-faced lie; Ford received bailout

MSNBC continues to descend into a pit of outright lies; there is no way on earth that Chris Matthews or his guests don't know the truth here. That didn't stop Matthews from spitting on it or his guests from cleaning up his mess. This is pure propaganda for the White House, nothing more. Matthews actually makes the argument - for his dumbed down audience - that Ford benefited from the auto bailout.

The truth is that Ford didn't accept a bailout.

Flat...out...lie.

Video: Conservative talk show host nails Romney on Liberalism

Former WHO talk show host, Steve Deace, was on MSNBC to talk about Romney's electability. Aside from the fact that MSNBC is obviously giving him air time because it helps their cause, Deace does a good job of explaining why Romney is a terrible choice for conservative voters.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Four years of Jimmy Carter essentially gave us Ronald Reagan. Four years of Jimmy Carter on steroids is giving us Gerald Ford.

There is one undeniable truth that comes with a Romney nomination. We, as a nation, still have not learned our lesson after four years of Barack Obama.

Video: MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell provides perfect Appetizer for Media attacks on Romney

As much as it pains me to say that MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell makes a well-reasoned argument, he absolutely does here. Mitt Romney is in trouble with the mainstream media over his Mormonism. In this monologue, O'Donnell starts out by referring to a racist quote from Brigham Young, a man who Mormons believe was a prophet. O'Donnell conveys that Romney has praised Young in the past.

Again, my views on Mormonism are irrelevant. It's the views of the mainstream media and how they will communicate them that are going to matter. Look, NBC manipulated a 911 call and aired an altered tape to make George Zimmerman look like a racist who murdered Trayvon Martin in cold blood.

The Republican Party - and Romney in particular - have a very big hurdle to overcome relative to Mormonism. Based on what O'Donnell says below (and we can expect much, much more of it in months to come), Romney is going to have a pretty bad time getting the black vote.

Republicans really need to ask themselves if Romney is their guy because, frankly, he is among the most vulnerable when it comes to his religion... and the mainstream media knows it.

Pretty hard to refute O'Donnell here.

CNN Reporting Daniel Pearl's family upset with Mormon Baptism

If anyone thinks this is going away because it's silly, they're sadly mistaken. The mainstream media is chomping at the bit to throw the Jeremiah Wright controversy back into the faces of Republicans and conservatives who bemoaned the fact that the media wouldn't cover it.

MSNBC and CNN are increasingly going after Mormonism and the closer Romney gets to sowing up the nomination, the more vicious the attacks will be.

CNN is now quoting the family of beheaded journalist Daniel Pearl, a Jew who was baptized into the Mormon religion posthumously.

Via CNN:
A muckraking ex-Mormon researcher struck again this week, revealing that some Mormons conducted a proxy baptism for slain Jewish journalist Daniel Pearl last year.

The disclosure comes after recent revelations that Jewish victims of the Holocaust, including Anne Frank and a parent of Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal, had been baptized by proxy by Mormons.

Helen Radkey, who has been combing through Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints records for years, told CNN the Pearl incident was one of "the most egregious," because of the circumstances of Pearl's death.

Pearl, a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, was kidnapped in Pakistan and beheaded by terrorists in 2002. Prior to his execution he was forced to read a statement on camera saying he was Jewish, an episode that was captured on video.

Radkey, found LDS records that revealed Pearl was posthumously baptized at the Twin Falls, Idaho Temple in June.

The baptism struck a nerve with Pearl's mother, Ruth Pearl. She said in a statement that while she knew Mormons had good intentions, and meant the baptism as a way to offer salvation, "rest assured that Danny's soul was redeemed through the life that he lived and the values that he upheld."

"He lived as a proud Jew, died as a proud Jew and is currently facing his creator as a Jew, blessed, accepted and redeemed," Ruth Pearl's statement said.

"For the record, let it be clear: Danny did not choose to be baptized, nor did his family consent to this uncalled for ritual," her statement continued.

Pearl's widow, Mariane Pearl, told CNN's Brian Todd that whoever conducted the proxy baptism should have contacted the family out of respect.

"I'm shocked by the fact anyone would do something like this," she said.
There is plenty more to this and the liberal media is licking its chops at the prospect of giving viewers a steady diet of this. If the mainstream media can make contraception the issue of the day, it can certainly do the same with Romney's religion.

Make no mistake - they will if he is the nominee.

Video: Liberal Media scared Romney might lose

Liberals lie. It's what they do. Once you accept that premise, this exchange on Meet the Press is much easier to process. The narrative among the establishment is that Mitt Romney has the best chance to beat Obama. I still haven't figured out the thick-headedness of the Republican establishment and why it believes that. Mitt Romney will be filleted if he wins the nomination.

Enter Helene Cooper, the White House correspondent for the New York Times. As such, she is an undeniable liberal. Therefore, she lies. Take note of what she says here. The Obama administration thinks it will "crush" Santorum or Gingrich but is just confident that it can beat Romney. Assuming that liberals lie - which they do - why would the White House issue that message? Because it really wants to face Romney. Think about it. Why would a liberal tell the truth?

h/t Hapblog:

This recent piece by CNN shows exactly why the White House wants to face Romney. His religion will become a central issue if he wins the nomination. Look for the media to pull back on pieces like this for a while, as long as Romney's nomination is in doubt:

Video: Newt on Meet the Press, Followed by mildly sour Chris Christie

After a week in which Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich thoroughly defeated the liberal media establishment, David Gregory of Meet the Press gave it his shot and had just as much luck. At about the 1:50 mark, Gregory charged that Newt was a 'lobbyist' for Freddie Mac. Gingrich then did exactly to Gregory to what he'd done to other reporters, albeit a bit more subtly.

The more the media attempts to attack him, the stronger Gingrich seems to get. Neither the liberal media, nor the Republican establishment knows how to handle him.

Via MSNBC:

Shortly after Newt's appearance, New Jersey governor Chris Christie sat down with Gregory. In many ways, he seemed as bitter about Gingrich's victory in South Carolina as Ann Coulter did.

Video: Far Leftist Joe Klein Agrees with Ron Paul

Add TIME's Joe Klein to the list of left-wing whack jobs who sit firmly in the Ron Paul camp when it comes to foreign policy.

Klein, who is completely willing to ignore Iran's holocaust denial and threats to wipe Israel off the map, argues that Iran only wants nuclear weapons so it can deter Israel and Pakistan.

If anyone has been consistently wrong about the Middle East, it's the left. Here's the latest example.

Video: Donald Trump Rips MSNBC's Chuck Todd

Those of us on the right know one very simple fact. The mainstream media is in the tank for the White House and lies as a matter of course, whether through overt misstatements or blatant omissions. MSNBC's Chuck Todd is among the worse offenders. That's what makes this so good.

You don't even need to know what Donald Trump and Todd are discussing. All you need to know is that Todd led into the interview by stating a falsehood, that Trump wanted to respond to a poll. Trump calls him on it and doesn't relent until Todd fesses up, which ultimately had to do. While on the ropes, Todd erred on what would normally be an insignificant misstatement but Trump pounced, causing the MSNBC reporter to roll his eyes.

This is also why people like Trump but for some insipid reason, too many people on the right fail to follow the model.

Take note, Republican candidates:

Newt Played Footsie with Al Sharpton; he Just got Kicked

It appears Newt has himself a new problem on par with his decision to sit on a love seat with Nancy Pelosi and advocate for help against man-made climate change. In 2009, Gingrich toured the country with Al Sharpton and championed Sharpton's 'leadership.' Recently, Gingrich made some comments about the environment poor children in America are raised in. Sharpton didn't like it and basically called Newt a race-baiter. Sharpton also brought up their work together in 2009.

Based on Newt's decision to work with Sharpton in the first place, he deserves every bit of this.

Via Radio Equalizer:

Regardless of whether you agree with Al Sharpton's ideology, he has a point on Newt because the latter is definitely playing politics. This is exactly what happens when those on the right attempt to reach across the aisle and find 'common ground' with socialists.

Compare Gingrich's rhetoric of today with this from 2009:

Oh, and for good measure, Newt called MSNBC during Sharpton's show and wished the host a Happy Birthday on live television earlier this year. If he did so to win favor with Sharpton, it appears that was, as they say, an 'Epic Fail.'

Video: Chris Matthews on 'Thrill' and 'Chill' vs. 'Tingle' - a Difference without a Distinction

What's the difference between a leg 'thrill,' a leg 'chill' and a leg 'tingle'? At first blush, it might seem like an exercise in semantics but not if your name is Chris Matthews. The liberal, Alinsky-loving, MSNBC commentator has dug in his heels over this one and he's going to the mat to prove that he's right. He even whipped out footage of himself in 2004 to prove it.

There is certainly a degree of hypersensitivity on the part of Matthews over his 2008 comments that have provided an endless supply of comic relief and fodder for conservatives. The words are emblazoned on the virtual parchment of political discourse. While commenting on Barack Obama's speeches, Matthews said:
"I felt this tingle thrill going up my leg."
To further bolster his case, Matthews went to the video vault and found his own comments after Obama's keynote address at the Democratic convention. In response to that speech, Matthews said there was:
"A little tingle chill in my legs right now."
I'm not sure what Matthews hopes to accomplish by attempting to draw this line of distinction but I have a good bet what he WILL accomplish.

Uh, CLICK HERE to watch Chris 'Tingle' Matthews break it all down for you.

Video: MSNBC's Mika Brzezinski and her Righteously Indignant Rant Against Newt Gingrich

This is what we call feigned outrage from a liberal. Anyone willing to overlook the rampant crime and destruction of property while getting this mad at someone for pointing it out is in need of serious therapy. MSNBC Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski was so disgusted with Newt Gingrich for suggesting that the Occupy Wall Street crowd should bathe that she forgot to wear her belt. In a case of 'thou doth protest too much,' Mika actually tells Newt he's right in her own special way. Whenever you see someone on the left this worked up about something said by someone on the right, it's usually because it carries the ring of truth.

At the Thanksgiving Family Forum, Newt encapsulated the essence of OWS in just over 30 seconds (played at the beginning of this clip). Mika then takes her cue and decides that anyone who would say such things has to be an elitist snob completely devoid of compassion for the downtrodden. Mika said the comments made her 'skin crawl' but that might be because Newt got under it. Oh, and if you ever find yourself wondering how Joe Scarborough could have become so liberal after having been a Republican congressman who was part of the 'Contract with America,' imagine sitting next to this woman for multiple hours every morning.

Note that at no point, did Mika address one of Newt's points. Someone should also take the time to explain to her what the word 'literally' means. Unless Newt physically sat on a 'high horse' and unless Mika's skin did actually crawl, she's using it in a completely unacceptable manner.

What an outrage!
