Trevor Loudon of New Zeal Blog is all over the commies. He has come up with some doosies regarding Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, Van Jones, and the relationship between Valerie Jarrett's father-in-law and Davis. This time he's unearthed a video from 1985 in which a former KGB agent actually lays everything out, leaving no doubt that those conspiratorial notions about a socialist takeover are quite real.

UPDATE ON GEERT WILDERS TRIAL

Geert Wilders is a Dutch member of parliament and he is being prosecuted for exercising his first amendment right of free speech. He has been critical of Islam and was very involved in the making of the film, "FITNA". Now his own country is putting him on trial.

I'm not sure about Dutch law but here in the United States, politicians have more freedom to speak than do the citizens, which makes this trial particularly disturbing.

The pre-trial proceedings opened on January 20th. Wilders' attorney, Bram Moszkowicz, raised objections about the court's jurisdiction due to Wilders' place of residence. He also requested 18 witnesses, consisting of five freedom of speech experts, 8 Islam experts, and 5 experiential experts (practicing Islamists). On February 3rd, when the court re-convened, the judges announced that only three of the requested experts would be permitted. None of the three were allowed were freedom of speech experts or practicing Islamists.

Two very telling things about that for me. On its face, the court not permitting one expert on freedom of speech would seem to indicate they know this entire trial would be shredded with the truth. As for the lack of Islamists themselves, isn't it curious that those making the charges against Wilders won't even defend their position?

The good news? One of the three witnesses that WILL be giving her testimony is none other than Wafa Sultan, whose anti-islamic rant went viral a few short years ago. Here it is:



Another red flag is that Sultan, along with the other two witnesses, Jansen and Admiraal, are going to have to give their testimony behind closed doors. According to a website Wilders' people have put together and are keeping updated, Wilders himself is going to be examined behind closed doors as well.

CLIMATEGATE: OUSTED PROFESSOR CONSIDERED SUICIDE

Dr. Phil Jones of the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit (CRU) is telling the Times Online that he contemplated suicide after receiving death threats and being otherwise overwhelmed by the scandal. I don't care how big the fraud, no one deserves to get death threats, including Phil Jones.

Professor Phil Jones said in an exclusive interview with The Sunday Times that he had thought about killing himself “several times”. He acknowledged similarities to Dr David Kelly, the scientist who committed suicide after being exposed as the source for a BBC report that alleged the government had “sexed up” evidence to justify the invasion of Iraq.

In emails that were hacked into and seized upon by global-warming sceptics before the Copenhagen climate summit in December, Jones appeared to call upon his colleagues to destroy scientific data rather than release it to people intent on discrediting their work monitoring climate change.

Jones, 57, said he was unprepared for the scandal: “I am just a scientist. I have no training in PR or dealing with crises.”

I'm no psychiatrist but I would think that coming clean and admitting it was all a big fraudulent scam would be liberating. But alas, Jones is still sticking by the "science".

Jones has temporarily stood down as director of the climatic research unit at the University of East Anglia. He fiercely defends the unit’s science — “I stand by it 100%” — but now accepts that he did not treat Freedom of Information (FoI) requests for the data as seriously as he should have done. Jones believes that the unit was maliciously targeted with multiple FoI requests by climate change sceptics determined to disrupt its work.

Well, at least it was a partial mea culpa but Jones would probably feel much better if he made it a full one.

Phil, I'm glad you reconsidered and didn't end your life but PLEASE come clean and admit the truth.
